Prince Harry has been warned that his public comments about the royal family could undermine his hopes of reconciling with King Charles and Prince William. Reputation expert Eric Schiffer believes the Duke of Sussex needs to stop discussing his family publicly, particularly after his recent GQ interview reignited debate about the royal rift. Harry has openly expressed his desire to repair his relationships with his father and brother following his return to Britain. However, Schiffer argues that the prince's continued willingness to discuss private family matters could make that process more difficult. The warning comes as Harry attempts to settle back into British life with Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
MEGA
According to Daily Express US, reputation expert Eric Schiffer believes Harry's approach to repairing his family relationships could be doing more harm than good. Schiffer suggested that the Duke's public comments reveal what he described as a "discipline challenge" and a failure to consider the "second-order effects" of his actions. The expert's criticism followed Harry's recent GQ interview, in which the prince discussed returning to Britain, raising his children closer to his relatives, and his hopes of moving past years of family tensions. Schiffer argued that reconciliation remains possible but warned that Harry needs to demonstrate greater restraint.
"And the best action is no action in terms of talking," the reputation expert advised.
His comments suggest that Harry's efforts to explain his position publicly may be counterproductive, particularly when he is seeking to rebuild trust with relatives who have largely avoided discussing their disagreements in interviews.

La Stampa reports that part of the Juventus dressing room is unhappy with Luciano Spalletti's methods, particularly because the Tuscan coach spends too much time talking, which reduces the intensity of training.
Juventus are preparing for a crucial Serie A match against Napoli, and coach Spalletti has ordered the team into a two-day training retreat.

The Italian tactician is on the brink, having only earned 14 points in nine Serie A games so far this season, losing two of the last three games.
On Thursday, after a 2-0 loss to Genoa, CEO Giovanni Carnevali gave a stern dressing-room speech, asking the players to take responsibility for the poor results so far.

Could the Washington Commanders get star left tackle Laremy Tunsil back this season? A recent social media post from Tunsil gave Washington fans a glimmer of hope that one of the league's best offensive linemen could return before the end of the season.
Tunsil, who signed a two-year extension in the offseason, once again became the NFL's highest-paid offensive lineman, tore his triceps during a training camp practice on Aug. 8. It was a devastating blow for Tunsil personally and for the Commanders. Most believed Tunsil would miss most, if not all, of the upcoming 2026 regular season.
At 1-4-1, Washington is coming off its bye week and hosts the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night. Despite a rough start, the Commanders remain firmly in the NFC East mix. Could a few Washington wins push Tunsil to return sooner than anticipated?
First, here's the social media post that got everyone talking this week.
It's been nearly three months since Tunsil's triceps surgery. The injury usually keeps players out for 4-6 months, with offensive linemen often on the higher end because of the strenuous nature of the position. With Tunsil's social media post, head coach Dan Quinn was asked about his star left tackle.

Ciara made a striking maternity style statement at the 2026 WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards. The singer stepped onto the red carpet alongside her husband, showing off her growing baby **** p in an all-black ensemble. Her slinky gown brought plenty of drama to the event without relying on embellishments.
For the occasion, Ciara wore a fitted black LaPointe dress that hugged her figure before falling into a floor-length silhouette. The standout feature was undoubtedly the strategically placed cutouts that broke up the otherwise monochromatic design.
Ciara's slinky dress featured a crisscross construction across the chest, creating openings around the shoulders and upper torso. The fabric then crossed over the front before opening into a dramatic diamond-shaped cutout across her midsection, putting her baby **** p on display. Ruched detailing around the waist and hips further emphasised the body-hugging shape.
The long sleeves balanced out the skin-baring elements, while the skirt remained sleek and streamlined as it extended all the way to the floor. The dress appeared almost entirely free of embellishments, allowing its unusual construction and series of cutouts to do the talking.
Ciara kept the rest of her styling equally polished. Her brunette hair was worn down with a center part and soft volume, while smoky eye makeup and a glossy nude lip complemented the sultry black look. She also showed off sparkling rings while posing with her hands around her **** p.

UFC 324 kicked off the promotion's Paramount era with an absolute thriller, as Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett went to war for five rounds. Gaethje eventually came out on top, securing the interim lightweight ****** le, but the fight wasn't without its controversies.
Several eye pokes and a low blow suffered by Pimblett had fans questioning the referee's decision not to take a point away, especially after two judges scored the contest 49-46. Beyond the officiating debate, another talking point was Pimblett's decision to trade strikes with one of the division's most dangerous punchers instead of making better use of his grappling.
Given his Brazilian jiu-jitsu credentials, many felt he left a major weapon unused. The Liverpudlian has since admitted that he could have approached things differently. Now, with Gaethje having become the undisputed 155lbs champion after beating Ilia Topuria at UFC Freedom 250, Pimblett has opened up about what he would change if the two ever crossed paths inside the Octagon again.
In a recent interview with How U Livin J Piven, Pimblett admitted that he would take a completely different approach if he ever got another shot at Gaethje. "Yeah, if I fought him again, I'd shoot in within 10 seconds. I'd love to get that rematch. If I fought him again, I'd shoot in the first 10 seconds, put him on his back, and choke his ****** out."
That would arguably be a much smarter game plan for the Liverpudlian, who reminded everyone of his grappling prowess with a spectacular comeback at UFC 329.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones once admitted that Donald Trump's involvement in the NFL's national anthem debate was damaging to the league, describing the president's interest as "problematic".
Jones made the comments in 2018, when the NFL was attempting to resolve the controversy surrounding players kneeling during the national anthem to protest racial injustice.
The debate had become a major talking point after Trump publicly criticised players who protested and urged the league to punish those who refused to stand.
Speaking at the Cowboys' training camp in California, Jones acknowledged that Trump's comments were creating difficulties for NFL owners.
"His interest in what we're doing is problematic from my chair, and I would say in general the owners' chair," Jones said.

Abus Magomedov is riding high off his UFC 333 win, and who can blame him?
It was a near-perfect recipe. The first-round submission of Cameron Rowston was quick, decisive, and flashy. His flex celebration gave fans a moment to make viral, as did Magomedov's callout of contender Gregory Rodrigues. Perhaps the only thing missing was a Performance of the Night bonus.
"You know what happened last time after my last fight in Baku?" Magomedov told MMA Junkie on Thursday. "It was also a good performance. I was talking into the microphone after the fight. My coach Mike Brown called me and said, 'Why do you ask for the bonus? When fighters ask about the bonus, they never get it.' Then Ali Abdelaziz called me and said, 'Brother, why do you say this?' Then I said, 'OK, this is my first and last time that I ask for some money.' Then, I didn't say anything and still didn't get it."
"... It's better than nothing. But after you know you can get $100,000, $25,000 sounds not so enough. But always Alhamdulillah. Even though I didn't get bonus, I got good money there."
Magomedov (30-7-1 MMA, 6-3 UFC) didn't tap Rowston (15-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC). He choked "The Battle Giraffe" completely unconscious. As blood began to return to Rowston's brain after the stoppage, Magomedov flexed – a similar celebration to that of the one Nate Diaz hit Kurt Pellegrino with many moons ago.

Charles Barkley says some of the best money advice he ever got came from Michael Jordan on a golf course.
The Hall of Famer recalled the moment Jordan pulled him aside while playing golf in the early 1990s. On The Dan Patrick Show in June 2025, Barkley said he was making about $3 million a year from his Nike endorsement deal at the time.
"We were playing golf and he says, 'Chuck, I was talking to somebody, I want you to quit taking $3 million. Take $1 million and take the other $2 million in stock options,'" Barkley said.

If you don't remember, BYU quarterback Bear Bachmeier was a Notre Dame recruiting target as a high schooler, even earning an offer and taking visits to South Bend.
The Irish influence was in his blood with his grandfather being a huge fan. However, Bachmeier initially committed to follow one of his brothers, Tiger, to Stanford, but after a coaching change both decided that BYU was where they wanted to be.
As we all know, during recruiting, Notre Dame isn't the place for everyone, and for Bachmeier, it was a bad experience. Following the game on Saturday he's explain that the Irish disrespected him and his family during the process as shared by John Brice. Bachmeier said "I wasn't going to lose to those guys," as it looked like this game was personal for him.
It's hard to say exactly what happened without more information, but whatever it was, it soured Bachmeier's relationship with Notre Dame and the staff.

With less than two weeks left in the regular season for the New Jersey non-public schools (public schools end this week), it's safe to say nothing has been decided when it comes to the playoff seeds.
Remember, the non-public A and B playoffs in New Jersey are seeded by a committee, not power points/OSI magic. It's a small committee made up of representatives from across the state.
And I want to be clear about something else: This is how I think the seeding committee will do it. This isn't necessarily how I would do it. In years past, the committee has strongly favored head-to-head outcomes, not full resumes or tradition or injuries or anything like that. Once again, there is no written criteria. It's people in a room talking football at NJSIAA Headquarters in Robbinsville.
However, this year, the committee may have no choice but to look at a lot of other factors other than head-to-head. Why? Because the head-to-head results don't make sense.
Who do you seed where with Seton Hall Prep beating St. Joe's who beat St. Peter's who beat Seton Hall Prep? And by the way, Seton Hall Prep lost to Pope John.

One ESPN ****** yst claims to have some insight on the biggest story surrounding the Detroit Red Wings.
In an episode of the Frankly Hockey podcast featuring NHL ****** ysts John Buccigross and Frank Seravalli published on Friday, Oct. 16, Buccigross said he had information that indicated the Red Wings will soon be making a blockbuster deal.
"I think there's going to be a trade within seven to 10 days in Detroit," he said.
Seravalli then asked Buccigross to confirm that he was talking about disgruntled star Dylan Larkin, to which Buccigross said yes, "that's coming."
Larkin's trade request became public knowledge on June 4, with the native Michigander having played a big role on the Red Wings since his rookie season in 2015-16. About a month after the news broke, the Red Wings parted ways with longtime general manager Steve Yzerman and named Shawn Horcoff the interim GM on Sept. 15.

Sevilla players Juan Iglesias and Kike Salas have criticised the refereeing following their side's 4-1 defeat to Real Madrid, with both questioning why the officials did not intervene over an alleged elbow by Arda Guler on Peque during the first half.
The incident became a major talking point after Real Madrid took control of the contest through goals from Guler and Kylian Mbappe.
The Sevilla players believe the contact on Peque should have been reviewed and potentially resulted in a red card, while Iglesias also highlighted a separate challenge involving Robbie Ure during Mbappe's goal.
Iglesias argued that the incident involving Guler and Peque deserved closer scrutiny, explaining that Sevilla's players had discussed the contact during half-time.
While stopping short of declaring the decision definitively incorrect, the defender made clear that he believed a foul had occurred.

Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers bashes Buccaneers' home field for safety concerns appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers were able to leave Raymond James Stadium on Sunday with a 26-19 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, despite securing the comeback win, the Steelers quarterback expressed considerable frustration after the game over the condition of Tampa Bay's home-field surface.
Following the game, Rodgers openly criticized the playing surface at Raymond James Stadium, raising concerns about the potential risks it poses to players' safety.
"It's got to be one of the worst surfaces in the league," Rodgers said. "We're talking about player safety. I'm very thankful to not get hurt. I've gotten hurt twice on this field, in my opinion, because of the turf. I don't think it's very safe out there."

Bengaluru: When batters are scoring at 11.46 runs an over, even quality bowling attacks can be made to look ordinary. India's T20I series against the West Indies has exposed the vulnerability of the hosts' pace unit, with flat pitches, dew and short boundaries proving a punishing combination for bowlers.

West Indies' stunning 250-run chase in Ranchi, completed with nine **** to spare, prompted a stern **** sment from India head coach Gautam Gambhir.

"These bowlers are our bowlers, not someone else's bowlers. Their careers are at stake," he had said, underlining the scrutiny facing the attack.

With the exception of Indore, where India successfully defended 223, the bowlers struggled to contain a fearless West Indies batting line-up. While the absence of Jasprit **** rah and, to an extent, Hardik Pandya has been felt, the bigger concern for the team management is the inconsistency shown by Arshdeep Singh, Mayank Yadav and Prince Yadav.

The two young quicks, Mayank and Prince, have alternated between brilliance and waywardness during the series, highlighting the challenges of adjusting to different match situations. The fourth T20I in Hyderabad offered a clear example. India conceded 18 extras, including 13 wides. Arshdeep accounted for six, while Mayank and Prince leaked two and one, respectively. Their attempts to execute wide yorkers and fuller deliveries repeatedly missed the mark, allowing the West Indies batters to maintain the pressure.

India's lack of proven T20 pace-bowling depth has consequently become a talking point. That has put renewed focus on the return of Bhuvneshwar **** ar, whose recall after nearly four years away from the national side could prove timely.

The experienced swing bowler has enjoyed a productive run in the IPL, taking 45 wickets across the last two seasons. More importantly, his success has been built on control and execution rather than sheer pace, qualities that India's younger quicks have often lacked in this series.

Conditions, however, have offered little respite to bowlers. High-scoring surfaces and heavy dew have meant that even small lapses have come at a significant cost.

As India prepare for a demanding tour of New Zealand, they know the challenges ahead will be very different. The pitches may offer more **** istance, but the key question remains whether the bowling group can quickly adapt and improve its consistency.

On the eve of the rain-affected series finale in Bengaluru, fast-bowling coach Morne Morkel urged observers to consider the physical and mental demands placed on modern cricketers.

"We sometimes forget that mental fatigue plays a big part. We have to manage that and be smart with it. Some of the players went for the Asian Games and then straight into a full series against the West Indies. These guys are also human," Morkel said.

"Execution and skills become better when you've recovered, slept well and mentally refreshed. That's a challenge. We're going to N

Buffalo Bills safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson faced backlash from the NFL world after getting ejected from the Week 6 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. He appeared to spit on Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, right after the Bills received a defensive holding penalty in the second quarter.
But Gardner-Johnson came to his senses pretty quickly. Talking to the media inside the locker room, he acknowledged that what he did was wrong. He let his emotions take control in the heat of the moment. That's certainly something that no veteran should do. Hence, he took to his Instagram Story and shared an apology.
"I want to take a moment to address my actions and sincerely apologize to my opponent, my teammates, my organization, and everyone who supports me," Gardner-Johnson wrote. "My passion and competitive nature have always been a huge part of who I am, but I also understand that there is a line that should never be crossed. The gesture I made toward my opponent was inappropriate, unnecessary, and not a reflection of the respect I have for him or this game."
Gardner-Johnson further noted that there's "no excuse" for spitting on his opponent, regardless of the intensity of the competition. He is playing his eighth season this year, making him a responsible figure in the Bills locker room.

The controversy surrounding Farid Basharat's UFC release continues to grow, with the former bantamweight now hitting back at Dana White's remarks. The 29-year-old was let go despite remaining unbeaten, finishing his UFC run with a perfect 7-0 record and an overall MMA record of 16-0.
One of the biggest talking points since Basharat's release has been his lack of finishes. Six of his seven UFC victories came by decision, but he consistently got the job done against tough competition. His most recent outing was a win over John Garza in July, adding to a resume that includes victories over Jean Matsumoto, Chris Gutierrez, and Taylor Lapilus.
White was asked why Basharat was not offered a new contract during the UFC Edmonton post-fight press conference. The UFC CEO suggested that a fighter's record is not always the only factor behind such decisions, pointing to possible issues with the matchmakers and fighters turning down bouts. He also hinted that there was a specific reason Basharat was not brought back.
Dana White hints there may be MORE to Farid Basharat’s UFC exit
“If you’re 16-0 with seven wins in the UFC and don’t get re-signed, there’s definitely a reason.”

Brian Austin Green "humiliated" Sharna Burgess by complaining about her DWTS schedule, Kaitlyn Bristowe claims.
The 90210 actor has been talking about how "incredibly lonely" he is as she competes on the show.
"Maybe go to your therapist and not social media and shame your [fiancée] while she's working her **** off," said Bristowe.
Some things are best kept off social media, says Kaitlyn Bristowe.
The former Bachelorette called out Brian Austin Green for posting a handful of TMI videos complaining about how "incredibly lonely" he is now that his fiancée Sharna Burgess has returned to Dancing With the Stars after taking five years off to raise their son. In one Instagram post filmed outside of a mall, the father of four bemoaned seeing a movie "by myself" to cap off an already bad week.

When it comes to relationships, Kaitlyn Bristowe apparently feels compelled to weigh in.
The Bachelor Nation alum — who appeared on both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette — shared her thoughts on a recent Instagram video posted by Brian Austin Green in which he talked about going to the movies alone. Though he didn't mention fiancée Sharna Burgess, she has recently been busy with Dancing With the Stars.
"He's going to probably unfollow me and not like this," Bristowe, 41, began, adding that she doesn't intend "to kick him while he's down."
However, the former DWTS winner said on the Tuesday, October 6, episode of her Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe podcast that she felt the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum's recent post may have been a little TMI.
"Brian Austin Green recently came out on his social media talking about how he went to a movie alone," she began. "He's like, 'I went to a movie alone, and I'm just going through a lot.' And he was saying how hard it is that Sharna's not there with him every day."

Jennifer Lawrence has addressed her comments about Kourtney Kardashian. The actress previously called Kourtney "more annoying than ever" during a Vanity Fair lie detector test. Kourtney later shared details about Lawrence's apology on the Season 8 premiere of The Kardashians.
During the Vanity Fair segment, Lawrence discussed her favorite Kardashian sisters. She picked Khloé Kardashian before criticizing Kourtney for announcing personal lifestyle choices. "She drives me nuts," Lawrence said, adding that Kourtney should "just shh!"
Kourtney addressed the comments while talking to her friend Simon Huck on the reality series. She explained that the remarks affected her more because she was having a "really sensitive week." She said, "I felt like our show was airing and everybody was ganging up on me." However, when Kourtney later watched the full clip, she admitted, "Oh, it's not that bad actually."
Lawrence addressed the situation privately rather than continuing the exchange publicly. She reached out through Kim to get Kourtney's email and sent her a message explaining how she felt about the Kardashian family. Kourtney said the actress wrote, "I just feel like I'm one of your sisters."
She appreciated the gesture, but did not reply as she had only seen the message late the previous night. While discussing it with Huck, Kourtney said, "She asked Kim for my email, and then she sent me that email, which is so nice." However, Kardashian joked about sending Lawrence a fun response, "Do I say something funny?"

Republican efforts to reduce national gas prices in the weeks before Election Day were derailed in the Senate by infighting among GOP lawmakers and members of the administration who could not agree on how to ease consumers’ pain at the pump.
The divisions within the Senate Republican conference over how to lower gas and diesel prices — even if temporarily — were driven primarily by geographic differences.
Senators from oil-refining states shot down proposals from farm-state senators to ban the export of diesel or to loosen restrictions on the sale of E15 gasoline with higher ethanol content.
“You’re talking about regional politics, and it gets bogged down in the politics of energy, and the fiefdoms around it,” said Ron Bonjean, a GOP strategist and former Senate leadership aide.
There were divisions that went beyond geography, too.
