Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has held talks with Blancos transfer target Yan Diomandé, with a view to the Ivorian's predicted role with the club.

The young winger has taken his place centre stage in the media headlines surrounding Real Madrid for several days now, after the brass at the Santiago Bernabéu made the call to go all-in on their pursuit of his signature.
An agreement on the personal terms of a contract is now in place between the parties, with just the final details of an accord being sought with RB Leipzig before Los Merengues can make their latest big-money signing official.
