With NFL training camps fully ramped up and the preseason on the horizon, there is no shortage of various quick-hit highlight videos popping up on social media. This certainly stands true for the Dallas Cowboys, and one specific training camp drill done by CeeDee Lamb quickly grabbed the attention of fans league-wide.
Wide receivers, in particular, have been known to follow specific routines in their daily preparation for the season. Some may have a set number of ***** they catch each day, while others utilize unique drills to help work on catching passes in coverage. But for Lamb, his drill included a large white net covering his entire face/helmet while catching passes, as Cowboys reporter Patrik Walker first revealed.
It was unquestionably a unique (and I'd go out on a limb and guess very rarely seen) approach to a pass-catching drill. It also sparked some questions and speculation about exactly why Lamb was using the net as part of his training.
While it hasn't been confirmed, the popular theory is that Lamb took this approach to address the sunlight issue that's been a topic of conversation in late-afternoon games at AT&T Stadium. The four-year, $140 million value of Zay Flowers' extension generated the headline, but the guaranteed money reveals the depth of the Baltimore Ravens' commitment. Already a fantasy football legend, Nacua has a very obvious area to explode further: red zone TDs. Last year, Davante Adams had a 27% target share in the red zone compared to Nacua's 17%. Adams scored 13 RZ TDs to Nacua's 6. That could change at any point, especially if Adams' hammy acts up. If that gets close to even or flips to Nacua, then we're talking about a ceiling that only Cooper Kupp, Jerry Rice, CeeDee Lamb and Ja'Marr Chase have ever had in a single season.

Ah, Greece. Sun, sea, hundreds of islands, friendly people, sirtaki, great olive oil, ouzo, pita, lamb dishes. I'm not gonna lie, Greece is my second favorite country in Europe, after, of course, Italy. So many uncharted territories, so many jewels scattered across the Mediterranean Sea, waiting to be explored.
Anyway, let's talk football. Greece has generated some excellent players over the years. Take their Euro 2004 squad: Charisteas, Zagorakis, Nikopolidis, Basinas, Seitaridis, Papadopoulos. They weren't superstars, but they were reliable and skilled players. The team was compact, resilient, and tough, winning against Portugal and France and drawing with Spain in 2004.
More recently, Greece has produced well-known names, including Odysseas Vlachodimos, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Anastasios Douvikas, and Vangelis Pavlidis, as well as promising young talents such as Christos Mandas, Christos Tzolis, and Konstantinos Karetsas.
And there is also Konstantinos Koulierakis: a tall, athletic center-back who just joined Roma from Wolfsburg and has already been capped 22 times by the Greek National Team.

The first week of Dallas Cowboys training camp is over and the pads start popping on Monday but there is already been some fireworks when it comes to standouts, stars and whispers of potential additions.
As much fans and the Cowboys want to get excited about the young guys, quarterback Dak Prescott remains the unquestioned star of team. The game has simply slowed down for him. MVP talk should be real for Prescott in this offense.
Left tackle remains a huge concern for the Cowboys and that means Tyler Guyton. As much success as the offense had last season despite the struggles of Guyton and Nate Thomas, it's not lost on the Cowboys that Prescott got sacked 31 times, fourth most his career, and got hit a ton. That he didn't get sacked more was due to his ability to move in the pocket and avoid sacks but he got as he was delivering the ball too many times for the Cowboys.
Receiver CeeDee Lamb is on board with Prescott's GOTI nickname, Greatest Offense There Is, for the Cowboys after what they accomplished last season. He said they are not resting on their laurels and want to better and more explosive in 2026. That starts with him staying healthy for a full season and the offense being better in the red zone. The were 16th in red zone touchdown percentage last season. "It's a standard for us," he said of the GOTI nickname. "Obviously, we know and we pay our dues to everybody and all the offenses that've been successful. And shout out to The Greatest Show on Turf, as we all know. They're the standard, you know what I'm saying? "But, as for us, we hold ourselves to a higher standard, and we just gotta be able to execute. We can say these things and have these acronyms for ourselves but, at the end of the day, we've got to come out here every day and execute. And we are reminded of that every day. That's our stepping stone, and making small, gradual steps every day, and being the best version of ourselves. You know the playmakers that we have, so you look top down, it's real."
Linebacker remains a position of focus for the Cowboys. There are still concerns about DeMarvion Overshown staying healthy for 17 games, an issue that is even more acute if he is asked to play middle linebacker and take on blocks for a full season. Overshown is at his best at weakside linebacker he and run sideline to sideline and blitz off the edge. The Cowboys tried to trade for Jordyn Brooks from the Dolphins in offseason. It's a trade they will likely revisit.

Remember back in 1995 when Jerry Jones signed Deion Sanders to richest cornerback contract in NFL history at the time _ a five-year, $35 million deal, including a $13 million signing bonus _ while bringing him to a team that had not only owned two Super Bowl ****** les but already had it's share of megawatt star power and personality in the form of receiver Michael Irvin.
Sander famously jokingly asked Irvin during press conference, "Are you mad about money?".

40 days out from playing against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish inside Lambeau Field, the Wisconsin Badgers are on the cusp of a program-defining year.
It'll be head coach Luke Fickell's fourth year as the lead man in Madison. When Fickell first came to Wisconsin in 2022, so did lofty expectations of what the program could achieve with him at the helm. But a 17-21 record in three seasons has left Wisconsin as a shell of the program it once was.
2026 may be Fickell's last chance to prove he's the right man for the job, especially with the increased financial investment into the program and the arrival of a new Athletic Director.
In order for the Badgers to right the ship, they'll need to find out who the most valuable players are on their roster. For this ranking, value will be defined by how much a player's absence would impact Wisconsin's chances of winning.

OXNARD, Calif. (AP) — When Dak Prescott arrived at training camp Tuesday, he wore a vintage t-shirt celebrating the Dallas Cowboys' last Super Bowl win as a statement of intent.
After 10 years in the NFL without a meaningful playoff run for an organization that has not claimed a championship since after the 1995 season, their star quarterback is ready to end those droughts through his deeds, words, and even wardrobe choices.
"To go into training camp and to go into the season to say that those are our goals, I mean, it'd be stupid or we'd be remiss not to own that, and take accountability in that, and take pride in saying this is what we want to be and what we want to do," Prescott said Thursday.
Prescott admitted to being "definitely less patient" when it comes to the lack of postseason success, his angst rising after missing the playoffs each of the past two campaigns. He has a 2-5 record in playoff games and never reached an NFC championship game, something the Cowboys have not done over the previous 30 seasons.
However, Prescott believes the pieces are in place for the organization to move past those struggles. He expects a potent offense to be even better in its second season under head coach Brian Schottenheimer by benefitting from improved continuity on the offensive line and further growth from the pairing of standout wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens in their the second year together.

Christian Walker added a solo homer while Houston relievers Enyel De Los Santos, Bryan Abreu, Steven Okert and Josh Hader combined for four hitless innings. Okert (4-1) threw a scoreless eighth to earn the win and Hader threw a four-pitch ninth for his 14th save.
The Astros won for the seventh time in eight games to remain two games behind Texas in the American League West. The last-place Angels have lost 17 of 22 games.

It wasn't that long ago that Denzel Mims was a more highly-regarded WR prospect than George Pickens. Their careers have gone very different directions, with Pickens playing 2026 on the franchise tag and Mims coming off a two-year stint in the UFL. It is a tradition for Packers players and some coaches to ride kids' bikes from the stadium to the practice field. Kids can line up with their bikes near the Oneida Nation gate on the east side of the stadium and should arrive early. The Packers and American Family Insurance also will provide five Dream Bikes, basically bicycles with sidecars. Kids chosen for the Dream Bike experience will receive a bike helmet autographed by the player who rides with them.
The National Weather Service Green Bay forecast is for sunshine with a high of 84. Umbrellas are not allowed in the stands, so fans are advised to have hats, sunscreen and water.

For the Dallas Cowboys, it's been an offseason where more noise has come from their roster moves, free agent acquisitions, and draft picks than any off the field drama, which is a welcome change for a team that will begin the regular season 973 days removed from their last playoff game appearance.
That playoff game was the now-infamous 48-32 home loss to the Green Bay Packers. The Cowboys and Packers have met just once since that January game in AT&T Stadium, and it was memorable for a whole other host of reasons, ending in a 40-40 tie on Sunday Night Football last season in week four.

Pittsburgh traded Claypool away in November, leaving Johnson and Pickens as the clear starting duo.

Italy's wine producers continue to struggle in export markets, with sales down again in the first four months of the year.
Citing data from government agency ISTAT, trade **** ociation Unione Italiana Vini (UIV) said sales fell 6.8% year on year to €2.34bn ($2.66bn) up to the end of April. Volumes slid 3.7% to 641 million litres.
"These results confirm the difficulties of the wine market and its trade, which is contracting across all producing countries," UIV president Lamberto Frescobaldi said. "An increased presence in emerging and export markets, along with reduced production, are the two directions that Italian wine must pursue."
The latest data underlines how the start of 2026 has offered Italy's wine exporters little respite after a year of declining sales. In 2025, export sales fell 3.7% to €7.78bn on the back of a 1.9% decrease in volumes, hit in the main by US tariffs.
According to the UIV's latest **** ysis of the export data, sales to the US did rise in April, growing 1.6%, although sales over the first four months as a whole were down more than 15%.
