Why we like it: We like the Chase Sapphire Preferred as a travel card that can help you make the most of your spending today toward future trips with flexible ways to earn and redeem rewards. At $95, it's not the most expensive travel credit card — and you may even earn back that fee with benefits alone, like the $100 annual Chase Travel hotel credit.
What really makes the Chase Sapphire Preferred valuable is the boost for redeeming points for travel through Chase Travel, up to 1.5x.
Read our full review of the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card.
Why we like it: With the Chase Freedom Unlimited, you can maximize bonus categories while earning a competitive flat cash-back rate. The bonus rewards categories include both travel (through Chase Travel) and everyday spending on dining and drugstores. But you're also guaranteed at least 1.5% on every non-category purchase — putting this card in competition with other cash-back cards that earn only those flat cash-back rewards.

Hims & Hers Health, Inc. (NYSE:HIMS) has entered Australia, marking its first expansion into the Asia-Pacific market. The move follows its acquisition of Australian digital-health platform Eucalyptus, which includes men's health brand Pilot and women's health brand Juniper. Hims is initially rolling out weight-loss and men's health treatments, with plans to introduce women's health services later this year.
The Australian launch allows Hims & Hers Health, Inc. (NYSE:HIMS) to replicate its U.S. and European model in another large, digitally connected healthcare market. It also gives the company access to local infrastructure and clinical expertise rather than requiring it to build the business entirely from scratch. The company has said international expansion has already helped increase monthly revenue per subscriber by 21% year over year, although international growth has also pressured gross margins.
Australia could become another meaningful growth engine for Hims & Hers Health, Inc. (NYSE:HIMS) as the company expands beyond its core U.S. market. The acquisition of Eucalyptus gives Hims an established local presence, existing brands and clinicians, which should reduce some of the execution risk normally ******* ociated with entering a new country.
The opportunity is particularly attractive because Hims can introduce multiple healthcare categories rather than relying on a single product. Weight loss, men's health, and eventually women's health give the company several avenues to increase customer acquisition and spending per subscriber. Combining services Australians previously purchased separately could also increase customer lifetime value.
The Australian market could also strengthen Hims' international scale. The company has already expanded into Europe through its acquisition of Zava, and Australia provides another market in which the company can leverage its technology, brand and telehealth infrastructure. If Hims & Hers Health, Inc. (NYSE:HIMS) can successfully replicate its customer-acquisition model internationally, the Australian business could become an important contributor toward its long-term $6.5 billion revenue target for 2030.

You may be eligible for a bad credit personal loan with a score below 580.
The average personal loan rate is currently at 12.43%, according to Bankrate's data as of Aug. 26, 2026. But if you have bad credit, some lenders could charge you an interest rate close to 36%.
Personal loan lenders specializing in bad credit loans will likely scrutinize your income and employment history more closely.
You should explore alternative solutions before committing to a personal loan with a high interest rate.
If you want a low rate on a personal loan, you'll need good credit. However, that's not the reality for most borrowers. In fact, TransUnion data shows that people in the subprime and near prime categories — credit scores between 580 and 659 — made up the majority of loans (67%) at the end of 2025.

Florida State was able to win its first game against New Mexico State. They were able to run for over 200 yards in the victory, and running back Ousmane Kromah was the spearhead.
The sophomore led the team with 115 yards on 14 carries, marking career highs in both categories. Also, his 8.2 yards per attempt was his second-highest in any game on the collegiate level. This earned Kromah a special honor for his performance.
Pro Football Focus put it's Team of the Week for Week 0. Kromah landed on the list of offensive players.
Offense
Kormah has earned the RB1 role, and this was exactly the kind of start FSU wanted to see from him. Next Monday, he gets a chance to have a big performance against the SMU Mustangs in Florida State's ACC opener.

Why we like it: The Savor card earns the most rewards in bonus categories that are bound to benefit you while traveling abroad. Whether you like to try new restaurants in each city you visit or shop locally to prepare your own meals, you'll get 3% on your food spending. But we especially like how broad the "entertainment" category is, including tickets to tourist attractions, theater shows, amusement parks, and more. This no foreign transaction fee credit card also has no annual fee to offset all the rewards you'll earn.
Why we like it: At just $95 annually, the Chase Sapphire Preferred is one of the best credit cards without foreign transaction fees. It can offer outsized value for international travelers looking for great redemption value, as you can rack up points in various everyday and travel-related categories and then redeem them for travel.
You might choose to transfer points at a 1:1 ratio to one of Chase's 14 partner airline and hotel loyalty programs. Or, you can book travel through Chase using points and get redemption boost on select eligible bookings.
Why we like it: We like the Capital One Venture X as a travel card with premium rewards and benefits for a lower annual fee than some other competitors. If you're looking for a credit card with no foreign transaction fees because you often travel internationally, this card can help you maximize your frequent trips.

Why we like it: The Discover it Student Cash Back card offers up to 5% cash back across rotating quarterly categories — from dining out, groceries, and streaming services to specific retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Target. If you max out the 5% rewards each quarter with $1,500 spent across rotating categories, you'll earn $300 in cash back. After that, you'll still earn 1% cash back on all other spending.
Let's say you max out the $1,500 cap each quarter ($6,000 annually), and spend the remaining $10,903 from your estimated annual budget on purchases that earn 1% cash back. In total, you'd earn about $409 in cash back each year: $300 from 5% rewards and $109 on everything else.
With the Discover it Student Cash Back card's Cashback Match welcome offer, you could also get an additional $409 at the end of your first year, for around $818 in overall cash back.

There are no transgender women actually attempting to play in the WNBA–Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White don't count–but Julie Tetart is coming off a reportedly dominant campaign for Monaco Basket **** ociation in France's Ligue Féminine 2.
Tetart averaged 21.2 points and 20.2 rebounds per game during the 2025-26 season, leading the league in both categories. Two of Tetart's teammates recently sat down for an interview with the French podcast "Club Five," during which they compared facing the 6-foot-3 forward, who is listed at 195 pounds.
Martina Bestagno, a 6-foot-3 center, compared her experience "really big players such as Brittney Griner (6-foot-9, 219 pounds) and Isabelle Yacoubou (6-foot-3, 220-229 pounds)" to Tetart and said that while Griner and Yacoubou are "probably bigger" than the 34-year-old transgender standout, size isn't all that matters.
"It's not just the size, it's the combination of size and strength," Bestagno said. "That is something that I never went against it before. Of course, we're playing with her, but during the week, you're going against her in practice and it's something that I never had to face before. I was blown away by the difference talking about strength. The difference is huge."
Sara Crudo, a 6-foot-1 forward who appeared alongside Bestagno, said facing Tetart is "like a train that is coming into you."

Coastal Florida's insurance surge, flood repricing under Risk Rating 2.0, and post-Surfside condo ***** sments now erase the state's income-tax advantage for retirees.
Tennessee's cost of living index of 92 beats Florida's 103, and the state taxes zero retirement income including Social Security, pensions, and dividends.

Ask a room full of near-retirees where they see themselves in five years, and half of them will name a Gulf Coast zip code. Naples, Sarasota, Fort Myers, Punta Gorda. The real question is whether the fixed costs attached to a coastal Florida address leave the rest of the retirement plan intact a decade later. HP Inc. (NYSE:HPQ) delivered an unusual combination in its fiscal third quarter: Personal Systems revenue rose 18% year over year to $11.8 billion even though unit shipments fell 16%. The divergence drew scrutiny after the company reported record third-quarter revenue and raised its fiscal 2026 outlook.
Mechanically, the reported changes imply that Personal Systems revenue per unit increased about 40%. However, that is not a clean measure of like-for-like PC pricing. The segment includes services and other attached offerings, while the quarter's mix shifted toward commercial, premium, and AI-enabled machines. HP Inc. (NYSE:HPQ) did not disclose a precise bridge.
The mix shift has substance. AI PCs accounted for 46% of Personal Systems shipment mix, while HP Inc. (NYSE:HPQ) gained 2.6 percentage points of share sequentially in premium categories and 1.8 points sequentially in workstations. Commercial products, which generally carry higher configurations than consumer PCs, generated more than 70% of segment revenue. Revenue rose 22% in commercial Personal Systems and 10% in consumer Personal Systems.
The company is also selling more around the device. Management said peripherals, collaboration products and services such as its Workforce Experience Platform contributed one-third of Personal Systems gross profit. These offerings help explain why segment revenue can rise faster than hardware units without relying entirely on price increases.
Cash generation strengthened the bull case. HP Inc. (NYSE:HPQ) produced $1.7 billion of operating cash flow and $1.6 billion of company-defined free cash flow, after adjustments for lease-related investment and capital spending. The company raised its fiscal-year free-cash-flow outlook to $3.0 billion to $3.2 billion.

As sports betting continues to proliferate, college football is taking more steps aimed at minimizing inside information.
Via the **** ociated Press, the Big Ten announced on Friday that it will expand its requirement to submit player availability reports from one per week to four.
The rule, which applies only to in-conference games, mandates the submission of a report on each of the three days before a game, with a final report provided on game day.
The midweek reports require teams to identify players as probable, questionable, doubtful, out, or out for the first half. On game day, the categories will be game-time decision, out, or out for the first half.
The existence, and misuse, of inside information regarding player injuries continues to be one of the biggest potential sources of betting scandals. With more information provided to the public, less information will be private — and less information will be available to provide the basis for wagering by those who have access to it.

At a minimum, you'll earn 1.5% cash back on every purchase — but you'll earn even more in select rewards categories, including 5% on travel booked through Chase Travel℠. When you're ready to redeem rewards, you can also use them to book travel with Chase Travel or even combine rewards with another Chase card for a potential travel redemption boost.
For new cardholders, the Chase Freedom Unlimited offers a valuable welcome bonus and a 0% APR on new purchases and balance transfers. Long-term, you'll also get the security of useful Chase purchase protection and travel insurance benefits.
