One of Andrew Tate's accusers says he convinced her to move to Romania by telling her she would be able to decide whether she participated in webcam work. According to newly public extradition materials, she says that choice disappeared after she arrived.
The woman alleges that she began working 12-hour shifts while Tate, his brother Tristan Tate and others controlled conversations with paying customers and accepted money for ***** ual acts she says she had never agreed to perform. TMZ reported the specific allegations from court documents filed as Britain seeks to extradite the brothers from the United States.
She says she had set explicit boundaries around what she would and would not do but was pressured into acts outside those limits, including one degrading act involving a bed fixture that allegedly continued for about an hour. The woman described her overall experience as feeling like "sexual slavery." The allegations have not been proven in court.
U.K. investigators allege the brothers used romantic relationships to draw women to Romania before using financial control, intimidation and violence to exploit them through online ***** ual content. The brothers deny wrongdoing and are fighting extradition from federal custody in Miami.
According to the documents described by TMZ, the woman says Tate persuaded her to relocate to Romania in 2017. The woman says she that Tate, Tristan and other people involved in the operation controlled communications with customers.

Jennifer Lopez has reportedly been warned that her feelings for Ben Affleck could end in "disaster." The former couple has always had a tumultuous relationship. They got engaged in 2002 but eventually called off their wedding. However, the pair reunited in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022.
They later split, and the singer filed for divorce in August 2024. Lopez's friends are reportedly worried that, if given the chance, she could get back together with Affleck, which they say would be a "disaster."
Jennifer Lopez is allegedly still attached to Ben Affleck, and that is concerning her inner circle. The couple has always had an on-and-off relationship. They got married in Las Vegas, and their divorce was finalized in early 2025. The "On the Floor" singer is currently single. However, a report by Heat World suggests that she may still be carrying feelings for her ex-husband.
The source said that Lopez keeps telling people that they are just friends and that she doesn't have any romantic feelings for him. However, it's allegedly easily noticeable that she is still very attached to the "Argo" actor. The source continued, " Most people in her world believe she'd jump at another chance with him, but there is no doubt it would end in disaster because they're just way too different."
According to the source, people close to them know that they are better off as friends. However, they also claim that Lopez hasn't fully accepted the fact that they cannot work as a couple. Meanwhile, Affleck is also focusing on himself rather than the dating game. A source said, "Ben says he's trying to better himself and part of that is being very intentional with who he's dating, which has meant a lot more time alone."

Princess Eugenie was reportedly left "horrified" after a deeply personal gift from Meghan Markle mysteriously appeared on eBay with a staggering $26,500 asking price. The item was a copy of Meghan's children's book, "The Bench," apparently inscribed to Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, following the birth of their son August. After its discovery fueled speculation about the women's relationship, Eugenie allegedly contacted Meghan directly to apologize and insist that she had never knowingly sold or discarded the book.
MEGA
A source claimed Eugenie reached out after learning that the personalized book had surfaced online.
"Eugenie called Meghan herself. She was horrified the book had somehow ended up for sale," the insider told Rob Shuter's "Naughty But Nice" Substack, according to The Express US.
The source added that Eugenie made it clear she would never knowingly sell a personal present from Meghan. The **** ss reportedly accepted the explanation and did not blame her for the book appearing on eBay. Neither woman has publicly confirmed the alleged conversation, and it remains unclear how the seller obtained the copy. Its authenticity has also not been independently verified. Still, the reported phone call suggests Eugenie understood how the listing could look, particularly amid recent claims that her once-close relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan has cooled.

Kanye West is reportedly planning to seek help from Blake Lively to take revenge on Taylor Swift. West and Swift's feud dates back to 2009, when he grabbed the microphone from her as she accepted her award at the MTV VMAs. Although he later apologized, it seems the tension has not fully faded. The rapper is reportedly still determined to get back at the pop icon.
Kanye West is reportedly trying to get Blake Lively on board to seek "revenge" on Taylor Swift. For the unversed, at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009, Swift won the award for Best Female Video. When she went onto the stage to accept the award, West unexpectedly stormed the stage. He took the microphone from her hands. On stage, he said that he believed Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time.
The two later reconciled, but in 2016, West took another dig at Swift. He released the song, "Famous," which featured controversial lyrics about the "Opalite" hitmaker. Years later, it seems the feud is not over, as Star reports that the rapper is seeking revenge on her. The report says that he also wants Lively to help him with his plan.
A source said, "He genuinely believes that Blake's going to see this as an opportunity that's too good to pass up." However, it's not that easy to contact the Gossip Girl star. Hence, the "All Falls Down" hitmaker has reportedly been trying to contact people in her circle so that he can get in touch with her.
Even though Lively and Swift were once best friends, the two have reportedly fallen apart. This happened after Swift's name came up in the legal battle involving Lively and Justin Baldoni. West allegedly believes that since Lively has fallen out with Swift, she may be willing to help him with his plan.

Jim Carrey has officially tied the knot with longtime love Min Ah, marking a major new chapter for the famously private actor, who has reportedly embraced a secluded lifestyle in Hawaii.

Further details about the nuptials, including the exact date and venue, have not been publicly revealed.

Former supermodel Naomi Campbell won a legal challenge on Thursday to overturn a five-year ban on being a charity trustee after a panel accepted she had been the victim of deception.
The Charity Commission watchdog had banned Campbell in 2024 after identifying "multiple instances of misconduct" at her charity, Fashion for Relief.
The tribunal ruled on Thursday that there had been mismanagement but Campbell was "not involved" and "did not know" about it.
Instead, Campbell had been the victim of deception perpetrated by her co-trustee, Bianka ******* mich, who was disqualified from being a charity trustee for nine years.
Hellmich had "used forged documents and a false email address" purporting to belong to Campbell, the tribunal ruled.

Microsoft's (NASDAQ:MSFT) fiscal 2026, which ended June 30, was arguably the strongest year in the software giant's history. Revenue grew 18% to $331.8 billion. Net income jumped 31% year over year, to $133.7 billion.
Micron Technology (NASDAQ:MU) is approaching that number from a different direction. The memory specialist earned $8.5 billion in its fiscal 2025.

But for the fiscal fourth quarter of 2026, which ended in early September, management guided to earnings of $30.73 per diluted share, plus or minus $1.00, on a generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) basis. On about 1.15 billion diluted shares, the guidance works out to about $35 billion of profit in one quarter (about four times what the whole prior fiscal year produced).
Here's my prediction: In fiscal 2027, Micron will earn more than Microsoft. That means beating the year Microsoft is now in, not the one it just reported. It's a bold call, and it relies almost entirely on the price of memory.

Automattic has a new interim chief financial officer: Jeremy Klaperman, the CFO of the company's WordPress VIP Enterprise business unit. The news, shared internally on Friday, follows last week's attempted ouster of Automattic CEO Matt Mullenweg, which ultimately resulted in the departure of the board members who voted him out and other executives, including then-CFO Mark Davies. Davies was briefly interim CEO before Mullenweg retook the position.
In a Slack post, Mullenweg shared that Klaperman had previously acted as Automattic CFO when Davies had been on sabbatical. He noted that the board — whose new members have yet to be announced — will still need to evaluate internal and external candidates for the position before a final decision is made.
In addition, Mullenweg said in the post that a candidate to become the company's chief legal officer had also just verbally accepted the position, replacing Chief Legal Officer Andy Missan, who has also since left the company alongside Davies. TechCrunch recently reported that Davies and Missan had signed reciprocal severance deals during Mullenweg's 33-hour leave of absence before he returned as CEO.
"I have 100% confidence in our cash and financial position," Mullenweg's post concluded, adding "There is still work to do, but everything is within our control and depends only on Automattic's ability to execute."
In subsequent updates, Mullenweg also said to "stay tuned" for board announcements, and noted that special advisor and creator of Wolfram|Alpha, Stephen Wolfram, will continue in his position. The company's next board meeting is scheduled for September 23.

Anthropic's initial public offering (IPO), expected no earlier than mid-October, will be a test of just how hungry the financial markets still are for exposure to artificial intelligence (AI). The S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) is going to react depending on how that test goes. Its backers want a valuation of $2 trillion or more, which would top ******* e Exploration Technologies as the biggest IPO ever if it happens.
Don't expect S&P 500 funds to buy it immediately, though. The road for Anthropic entering the S&P 500 is going to be slow, and it could test some nerves along the way.

By definition, index funds tracking the S&P 500 must buy whatever the S&P 500 adds to its list of stocks.
Anthropic probably won't get special treatment, given that on June 4, S&P Dow Jones Indices declined to loosen its rules for mega-cap listings. Those rules still require 12 months as a public company, at least 10% of shares being publicly held, and reported positive earnings under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

On September 15, Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc (NASDAQ:JAZZ) completed its acquisition of privately held Actio Biosciences for $820 million upfront, adding a clinical-stage epilepsy drug called ABS-1230 to its rare disease pipeline. The deal lands weeks after Jazz posted its highest quarterly revenue ever on August 3, and raised its full-year guidance, so a fresh acquisition now sits on top of a business that was already accelerating. The question for investors is whether that combination adds up to durable growth or just a bigger bill.
ABS-1230 targets KCNT1-related epilepsy, a rare and hard-to-treat form of the disease. In an early clinical proof-of-concept trial, children who received the drug experienced meaningful seizure reductions, and preclinical testing showed it inhibited KCNT1 across every pathogenic mutation researchers evaluated, hinting it could work across the whole patient population rather than a narrow subset. The FDA has already granted ABS-1230 Orphan Drug, Rare Pediatric Disease and Fast Track designations, and accepted it into the agency's Rare Disease Evidence Principles process, a set of regulatory advantages that can speed a drug toward approval.
The acquisition also arrives while Jazz's existing business is firing on multiple cylinders. Second-quarter revenue climbed 16% year over year to $1.2 billion, the company's highest quarterly total on record, and management raised full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $4.6 billion to $4.75 billion. Growth was not confined to one product. Xywav sales rose 13% to $471 million on 525 net new patients, Epidiolex grew 16% to $292 million, and Zepzelca jumped 42% to $106 million. Zanidatamab, sold as Ziihera in biliary tract cancer, also received Breakthrough Therapy designation from the FDA for a form of colorectal cancer, adding another avenue for the oncology franchise Jazz has been building beyond its epilepsy and sleep businesses.
None of that came free. The $820 million upfront payment for Actio lands on top of $4.4 billion in long-term debt that Jazz already carried as of June 30, even after the company used part of its cash to repay $1.0 billion of exchangeable notes that matured this year. Cash, equivalents and investments stood at $2.2 billion at that point, meaning the Actio payment alone accounts for a meaningful share of the company's liquid resources.
Jazz's recent history also shows how acquisitions can distort the bottom line before they pay off. A $905.4 million in-process research and development charge tied to the 2025 Chimerix acquisition pushed second-quarter 2025 GAAP earnings to a loss of $11.74 per share, and a smaller $77 million IPR&D charge from the AbCellera and Werewolf deals still dented second-quarter 2026 results. ABS-1230 itself remains early, with only proof-of-concept data in hand and no late-stage trial results yet. The portfolio is not without setbacks, either. Jazz is moving to voluntarily drop the second-line indication for Zepzelca in meta

Jose Delgado will be back.
The rising Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight prospect suffered a third-round submission loss to top Brazilian contender Jean Silva in the main event of Noche UFC 4 this past weekend (Sat., Sept. 12, 2026) inside Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona (watch highlights).
Delgado accepted the biggest opportunity of his career on approximately three weeks' notice, replacing former interim Featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez and headlining a UFC event in front of his hometown crowd.
After taking a day to gather his thoughts, Delgado released a statement addressing the first main event loss of his UFC career.
"Well, ***** , so it goes," Delgado wrote on Instagram. "Dared to be great yesterday and came up short. But man, I loved every second of being on that stage with high-level opposition; that includes the heartbreaking pain of failure. Pure freedom. Insert something cliche about bouncing back here. Thank you to God for His guidance and my village for backing me. Also, thanks to everyone in that arena for making that walk what it was. Love y'all."

NEW DELHI: India pacer Kranti Gaud has been fined 10 per cent of her match fee for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during the Women's Asia Cup final against Sri Lanka in Dubai on Sunday.
Gaud was found guilty of a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel.
Gaud breached Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct, which relates to "using language, actions or gestures which disparage, or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during an International Match."
The incident took place in the first over of Sri Lanka's innings. After dismissing opener Imesha Dulani, Gaud gestured in the direction of the pavilion.
Gaud admitted the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by Supriya Rani Das of the Emirates ICC International Panel of Match Referees. As a result, there was no need for a formal hearing.
On-field umpires Saleema Imtiaz and Shathira Jakir Jesy, third umpire Rokeya Sultana and fourth umpire Humaira Farah levelled the charge.
Along with the 10 per cent fine, one demerit point has been added to Gaud's disciplinary record.
It was her first offence in a 24-month period.
Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand and a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player's match fee. They can also result in one or two demerit points.
Pakistan have been fined five per cent of their match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate during their Women's Asia Cup semifinal against Sri Lanka on Friday.
G.S. Lakshmi of the Emirates ICC International Panel of Match Referees imposed the sanction after Pakistan were found to be one over short of the target after time allowances were taken into consideration.
Under Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which deals with minimum over-rate offences, players are fined five per cent of their match fee for every over their team fails to bowl in the allotted time.
Pakistan captain Fatima Sana pleaded guilty to the offence and accepted the proposed sanction. Therefore, there was no need for a formal hearing.
On-field umpires Vrinda Rathi and Shathira Jakir Jesy, third umpire Rokeya Sultana and fourth umpire Rabab Ahsan levelled the charge.

Madan, a member of India's 1983 World Cup-winning team, questioned the decision and said India should avoid playing Pakistan if such situations continue.
"Once again same old story. If we are going to behave like this then we should not play Pakistan any trophies. I know its Board decision," Madan said.
The Asia Cup trophy controversy has continued for the second year in a row.
The Indian women's team did not return to the field for the trophy presentation after their ***** le win.
India's decision came a year after the men's team also refused to receive the Asia Cup trophy and medals from Naqvi.
Naqvi is the ACC chairman and also heads the Pakistan Cricket Board. He is also the Interior Minister of Pakistan.
The Indian men's team had won the Asia Cup last year but did not accept the trophy from Naqvi.
India are yet to receive the trophy, which has since been kept at the ACC office.
The Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian team instead celebrated on the presentation dais without the physical trophy.

Naqvi left the stadium immediately after presenting the award to Sri Lankan captain Chamari Athapaththu.

ATLANTA — Tennessee freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon will try for a strong sequel to his debut in leading the 18th-ranked Vols against Georgia Tech.
Tennessee (1-0) and Georgia Tech (0-1) play Sept. 12 (7 p.m. ET, ESPN) at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
It's a good road test, especially for Brandon, who accounted for five touchdowns in 56-9 win over Furman at home. And defensive coordinator Jim Knowles will dig deeper into his scheme to stop the Yellow Jackets.
The Vols will get a boost from the return of All-SEC linebacker Arion Carter and starting center Sam Pendleton, who were suspended for the Furman game.
Carter was suspended by the NCAA because he accepted a $427 flight from his agent to an NFL pre-draft training facility, whice he repaid. Pendleton was suspended by Tennessee for violation of team rules because he was arrested in May on charges of driving under the influence.

Aaron Rodgers has spent years saying relatively little about what ended his engagement to Shailene Woodley. He has now offered a much more explicit version of events, one that does not line up neatly with the public timeline people saw at the time.
During the Sept. 10 installment of Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, Rodgers said he proposed to Woodley in December 2020 and she accepted. He then claimed that only days later, she told him that before they married, she wanted to have **** with another man.
Rodgers also said Woodley had taken off her engagement ring by March 2021 and that later attempts to repair the relationship went nowhere.
Their engagement did not become public until February 2021, while reports that they had split did not emerge until February 2022.
Rodgers raised Woodley while discussing what he believes are inaccurate public narratives surrounding several of his past relationships.

Henry Winkler is opening up about his decades-long feud with Tom Hanks, admitting he is still processing what went wrong while leaving the door open for a potential reconciliation.
Speaking on "In Depth With Graham Bensinger," the Emmy-winning actor revisited the turning point in their relationship: his high-profile firing as director of the 1989 comedy "Turner & Hooch," which starred Hanks, now 70.
Winkler recalled that he felt unsuited to direct the movie from the start but accepted the job after a Paramount executive handpicked him. His overzealousness and early insecurity quickly backfired once he got on set.
"I went completely against my tummy, and it hit me in the face with a 2-by-4," Winkler said. "I now meet the puppies, and I meet with Tom [Hanks] ... and I, at that time being insecure, I talked too much and I gave them direction. I [did] what I thought was my job, and I wanted to do it over again and apparently that p**ed them off."
The job lasted less than two weeks. Studio executive Jeffrey Katzenberg called Winkler into his office to tell him his work was not showing up in the daily footage.

Scottsdale Saguaro first-year coach Butch Goncharoff insists the football season is not going to be canceled, but, for the second week in a row, the roster is so depleted with injuries that the Sabercats have canceled their upcoming game.
They were scheduled to play ALA Queen Creek on Sept. 10, but on the morning of Sept. 7, Saguaro notified Patriots head coach Rich Edwards that the Sabercats had to cancel the game.
Last week, Saguaro canceled its game against rival Scottsdale Chaparral due to a safety issue with too many players banged up from the season-opening 62-0 loss to Scottsdale Desert Mountain.
Chaparral, a 5A team, was able to replace Saguaro with 4A Tempe and beat the Buffaloes 57-0 as a running clock started late in the second quarter. Tempe accepted the game after Phoenix Carl Hayden canceled its game with the Buffaloes.
"With the game being a short week, Thursday, it was still going to be hard to get enough players back," Goncharoff said in a text message. "But we are not canceling the season."

HOPATCONG — Before Hopatcong's season opener, Alexa McLean said all the same things to the soccer players as most other coaches would. She just said them in a slightly higher register, occasionally referring to one or another of the boys as "honey." McLean called out her starters' names with a lilt belying her Ecuadoran American roots.
During the match, McLean strolled the sideline with her phone on a sparkly cross-body strap bouncing off her hip, a green dry-erase board printed with soccer lines and a white marker in her right hand. She gave a continuous flow of suggestions and encouragement, mostly in English. But occasionally, McLean switched to her native Spanish.
A Spanish and English as a Second Language teacher at Hopatcong, McLean was an ****** istant with the boys soccer team two years ago. Last fall, she helped the soccer team at the Academy of St. Elizabeth – an all-girls school in Morris Township – to a 1-15 record in her first high school head coaching job.
But the commute was too much. When the Hopatcong boys' job opened up, it seemed a natural fit.
"I wasn't sure how I was going to be accepted by the boys," said McLean, 52, who didn't start coaching in high school until her four kids had all graduated. "I haven't had an issue. I took a little (while) for them to get used to me and me to get used to them, but it's working out."

The biggest oil companies in the United States are playing hardball in unionized labor negotiations in a bid to get more concessions from workers' unions in the new contracts.
Over the past few years, some of the top U.S. refining companies have resorted to lockouts to ensure most of the company management's proposals in new labor contracts are accepted.
The trend began earlier this decade with Exxon locking out in 2021 as many as 650 workers out of the Beaumont refinery for 10 months. This was the longest labor dispute at a U.S. refinery in four decades.
Five years later, BP and Marathon are currently in a similar position, locking out workers at their Whiting, Indiana, and Martinez, California, refineries, respectively, amid labor disputes over union contracts.
The refineries continue to operate with contractors, supervisors, and replacement workers. The continued operations show that Big Oil is not as afraid as it used to be to use replacement staff while seeking concessions from the unions.

UFC legend Diego Sanchez has been arrested once again.
Sanchez, 44, was arrested and booked Monday at 5:17 p.m. local time in Socorro, N.M. on two charges: aggravated driving under the influence and probation violation, according to online jail records. Local news outlet KOB4 first reported the news.
No further details about the arrest have become available at this time.
Sanchez was sentenced to five years of supervised probation in March after a July 2025 arrest for shooting a loaded gun out of the window of a car while riding in the passenger seat on the highway. Prosecutors had requested a two-year prison sentence for a fourth-degree felony charge of shooting at or from a motor vehicle. A second charge of negligent use of a deadly weapon was dropped as part of a plea agreement.
Following the judge's decision, Sanchez said he accepted responsibility for the incident and pointed to substance abuse issues and mental health problems, both of which he was seeking help for at the time of the incident, as contributing factors.

Shikhar Mohan, Jharkhand batter credited captain Ishan Kishan's constant guidance after making an impressive 85 on his Duleep Trophy debut against South Zone in the 2026/27 final.
Mohan, who came into the East Zone XI as a replacement for Jharkhand teammate Virat Singh, played a key role in rebuilding the innings after the early wickets. He added 94 runs for the third wicket with Kishan, helping East Zone recover and take control on the opening day.
Kishan remained unbeaten on 111 at stumps, while ******* ar Kushagra was not out on 63 as East Zone finished the day on 385/4 in 79 overs.
"Ishan bhaiya was giving me a lot of advice while batting. He was telling me what shot is on and what is not. Thanks to that, we had a great partnership," Mohan told reporters after play.
Mohan earned his place in the East Zone side after an outstanding debut Ranji Trophy season, where he scored 613 runs at an average of 55.72. Although primarily an opener, he had no issues adapting to the No. 3 position with Abhimanyu Easwaran and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi opening for East Zone.
"My journey has been very good so far. My first season in Ranji Trophy went very well, so coming into this match, I just wanted to carry that forward. I was looking to maintain that form from the Ranji Trophy," he said.
Mohan also accepted the challenge of facing South Zone's short-ball strategy, with five fielders stationed on the leg side. He showed patience before eventually falling to Chama Milind after an inside edge off a bouncer.
"The plan was that I would leave the ball first, and when they get tired, they will give me chances to score runs. I made a poor decision and got out," he admitted.
The youngster also felt his experience in the Jharkhand T20 League helped him handle the pressure of playing in front of a sizeable crowd at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
"I think it helped a lot. The crowds there were also very good, so today when there was a big crowd, it felt normal to me," Mohan said.

Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed is seeking to appear more moderate to voters while, at the same time, maintaining ties to individuals who take positions far to the left of anything he publicly endorses.
Since launching his Senate bid in April 2025, El-Sayed has distanced himself from a number of positions he had previously held and scrubbed much of his left-wing pre-campaign content from the internet. He has also repeatedly insisted that he is "not a socialist."
While attempting to convince voters that characterizations of him as a left-wing ideologue are inaccurate, El-Sayed has appeared at campaign events with and accepted endorsements from a range of political allies and supporters with controversial records or views.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has spent 20 months promising that America was on the cusp of an economic boom. But Friday's surprisingly positive jobs report ultimately provoked frustration from Trump.
The August job numbers might have been a welcome break from after months of sluggish hiring and concerns about inflation that have been weighing on Trump and his party two months from Election Day. But speaking from the Oval Office, Trump instead launched into a grievance session about inflation and interest rates. His anger was aimed at the financial markets, the Federal Reserve and U.S. trade partners. He objected to the commonly accepted notion in economics that the surprise gain of 162,000 jobs in August could contribute to inflationary pressures.
"Success does not cause inflation. Stupidity causes inflation," Trump vented in the Oval Office, as he declared it "crazy" that the stock markets fell Friday on inflation concerns.
The combination over his second term of a drop-off in hiring and higher prices has dogged Trump and his pledge to instantly unleash historic levels of growth. "When I win the election, we will immediately begin a brand new Trump economic boom," Trump said at an August 2024 rally in North Carolina. But so far, the economy has grown at roughly 2% annually, slower than the gains during the Biden administration.
Trump blamed his inability to deliver stronger growth on higher interest rates for U.S. government debt, saying on social media that America could retaliate by stopping trade with foreign countries. Rates have been climbing in response to persistently high inflation fueled by Trump's tariffs and oil shortages from the Iran war. The national debt has now crossed the daunting threshold of $40 trillion and rates on the 10-year U.S. Treasury note on Friday rose to 4.79%.

I get cautious when an artificial intelligence (AI) stock asks investors to pay today for profits that may not show up for years.
Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) has been the dominant player in AI hardware for some time, but its stock still deserves a closer look even after gaining more than 360% over the past three years (as of Sept. 2, 2026). Is Nvidia stock now priced for distant hopes, or is it one of the tech sector's rare exceptions?
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
Nvidia's results for its fiscal 2027 second quarter (which ended July 26) show how much the company is already benefiting from AI infrastructure spending. The company's revenue rose 106% year over year to $96.2 billion. The performance was mainly driven by the data center segment, where revenue increased 117% year over year to $89 billion. The company also generated $63.7 billion in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) operating income during the quarter. This pace of growth is particularly impressive considering Nvidia's massive size.
Nvidia is also converting a large portion of its revenues into cash. The company's free cash flow reached $69.9 billion, while the company returned roughly $46 billion to shareholders through share repurchases and dividends in the first half of its fiscal 2027. This shows that Nvidia has significant funds to invest in research and development, secure future supply, and return capital to shareholders.
