There's zero chance that Halle Berry and ex-husband Olivier Martinez will reach a compromise amid their battle over 13-year-old son Maceo, a source tells Star.
"The hatred between these two is off the charts," reveals the source. "There's years and years of ugly history."
On Thursday, October 1, People reported that the Unfaithful actor, 60, was granted a temporary restraining order against the Oscar-winning actress, 60, as well as modified visitation after he accused her of physically abusing Maceo.
"Olivier's accusing Halle of being dangerous and saying he needs to protect their son from her, which is something she vehemently denies," reveals the source. "She's furious and says all Olivier is doing is trying to alienate her son from her."
In documents obtained by Star, the Monster's Ball actress asked that their former custody agreement, which grants her 50/50 custody and tie-breaking authority, be reinstated and that Martinez be forced to attend court-ordered therapy sessions.

More than eight months after former Nickelodeon actress Kianna Underwood was killed, the NYPD have made an arrest in connection to her death.
Police arrested Michael Griffiths, 72, of Brooklyn on Tuesday morning (Sept. 29) and charged him with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and leaving the scene of an accident with injury. He was arraigned later that day, pleaded not guilty, and was released on his own recognizance. Griffiths is due back in court on October 27.
The former Nickelodeon actress was crossing Mother Gaston Boulevard at Pitkin Avenue in Brownsville on January 16 when surveillance footage captured a black Ford Explorer cross the double yellow line and strike her as she moved against the signal.
A black-and-gray sedan then hit her and allegedly dragged her roughly two blocks. She was found near Osborn Street and Pitkin Avenue and ****** ounced dead at the scene.

Aaron Rodgers has spent years saying relatively little about what ended his engagement to Shailene Woodley. He has now offered a much more explicit version of events, one that does not line up neatly with the public timeline people saw at the time.
During the Sept. 10 installment of Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, Rodgers said he proposed to Woodley in December 2020 and she accepted. He then claimed that only days later, she told him that before they married, she wanted to have **** with another man.
Rodgers also said Woodley had taken off her engagement ring by March 2021 and that later attempts to repair the relationship went nowhere.
Their engagement did not become public until February 2021, while reports that they had split did not emerge until February 2022.
Rodgers raised Woodley while discussing what he believes are inaccurate public narratives surrounding several of his past relationships.

Most people would probably spend a few days recovering after officiating one of the biggest celebrity weddings in recent memory. Adam Sandler, however, apparently had something else on his mind. Just 48 hours after helping Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tie the knot in front of roughly 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden, the comedian was reportedly calling local authorities in Nantucket, Massachusetts, with a simple question: Where can he find a pickup basketball game?
According to the Nantucket Current, Sandler contacted the Nantucket Police Department's non-emergency line shortly after arriving on the island with his family. Rather than reporting a problem, the actor was looking for directions.
Public safety dispatcher Chris Reynolds told the outlet that Sandler asked where he could find a public basketball court and join a pickup game. "Sandler said, 'Hey, I'm here on your island and I like to play basketball. Can you tell me where there's a basketball court I could play on?'" Reynolds recalled.
The dispatcher pointed him toward the Backus Lane basketball courts near Surfside Road, where Sandler reportedly wasted little time joining local players already on the court.
For the group of Nantucket residents already playing basketball that day, the appearance of a Hollywood star was completely unexpected.

US singer Chris Brown has been found liable for a dog attack that left his housekeeper mauled and disfigured at his home in 2020.
Following a two-week trial in Los Angeles, the jury found in favour of Maria Avila, who was attacked by a 200lb (90kg) Caucasian shepherd owned by Brown while she was emptying the rubbish at his house in Tarzana, California.
Brown and his company Black Pyramid LLC must now pay her $12.9m (£9.7m) for negligence, according to US publication Billboard.
BBC News has contacted representatives for Brown for comment.
Aliva said the dog, named Hades, ripped off "large chunks of her skin", which subsequently led to permanent facial disfigurement, scarring, vision loss and nerve damage.

Joseph Perrulli recently reflected on their relationship and claimed the former NFL star's alleged abuse was widely known throughout Hollywood. "I had people in the [movie] industry telling me about, you know, informing me about his abuse, so I knew," Perrulli told Page Six.
According to Perrulli, there was a sense that few people were willing or able to challenge Simpson at the height of his fame. "We were all powerless," he explained. "He was still a spokesperson for a very big company [Hertz], a rental car company, and he was still a sportscaster.
