Gypsy Rose Blanchard's ex-fiancée, Ken Urker, was found dead on Thursday, Oct. 1.
Although Urker's cause of death is unknown, Blanchard made a statement to TMZ, explaining that Urker was a victim of cyberbullying before he died.
"Ken was an amazing father and a man who was deeply loved," Blanchard said, adding that Urker "will forever be my soulmate and my red string, a connection that time, distance, and even death can never erase."
Blanchard stated that before Urker was found unresponsive at his Louisiana home on his 34th birthday, he was the victim of an "unimaginable level of public scrutiny" and "relentless cyberbullying."
Blanchard noted that the cyberbulling had a "profound impact" on her ex, whom she met in 2017 while incarcerated for the second-degree murder of her mom, Claudine "DeeDee" Blanchard.

An arrest has been made in the death of a former Nickelodeon star killed in a gruesome hit-and-run car crash in New York City.
On Tuesday (Sept. 29), authorities announced that Michael Griffiths has been indicted in connection with the death of Kianna Underwood, who was slain in January after being struck and run over by a vehicle while crossing a Brooklyn intersection.
Griffiths, 72, was taken into custody and hit with multiple charges, including leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. However, Griffith, who lives a short distance from the site of the crash, claims he is not at fault for the 33-year-old's death.
According to reports, on Jan. 16, Underwood was crossing the street against a red light at the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brownsville when she was initially struck by Griffiths, who was driving a black 2021 Ford Explorer SUV.
After the first collision, Underwood was run over by a second vehicle, identified as a black sedan, heading west on Pitkin Avenue, with the victim being dragged for two blocks before her body became dislodged on Pitkin Avenue, near Osborne Street. While Griffiths claims to have gotten out of his vehicle in an attempt to flag down the second driver and tend to the victim, he's accused of fleeing before police arrived on the scene.

Naomi Campbell has won her legal appeal against a five-year ban from being a charity trustee.
A ruling from a tribunal on Thursday found that the misuse of funds in the charity "were concealed" from Campbell by a fellow trustee.
The supermodel founded Fashion for Relief in 2005 to help victims of Hurricane Katrina, with the charity raising funds for humanitarian causes through runway shows.
The charity closed in 2023 and was removed from the Charity Commission's register in 2024 following complaints of "serious mismanagement and/or misconduct," with Campbell being banned as a trustee for five years.
It found widespread mismanagement of funds, including money raised for good causes spent on luxury hotels and room service when Campbell was staying near Cannes in the south of France in May 2018.
Campbell, 56, appealed the ban, claiming that she had no knowledge the funds had been used in this way and had been deceived by another trustee about the unauthorised payments.

Former supermodel Naomi Campbell won a legal challenge on Thursday to overturn a five-year ban on being a charity trustee after a panel accepted she had been the victim of deception.
The Charity Commission watchdog had banned Campbell in 2024 after identifying "multiple instances of misconduct" at her charity, Fashion for Relief.
The tribunal ruled on Thursday that there had been mismanagement but Campbell was "not involved" and "did not know" about it.
Instead, Campbell had been the victim of deception perpetrated by her co-trustee, Bianka ******* mich, who was disqualified from being a charity trustee for nine years.
Hellmich had "used forged documents and a false email address" purporting to belong to Campbell, the tribunal ruled.

Americans are increasingly falling victim to so-called "ghost charges": small, frictionless payment purchases at Starbucks or McDonald's, or digital subscription deductions from your bank account you forgot about. The costs may only be $5 or $10 a pop, but they add up, and before you know it, $200 has disappeared from your savings every month.

The tax breaks in Trump's 'big beautiful bill' expire after 2028. Here are 4 moves to make before the window closes
A recent study from Cashews, a digital bank tracking platform for serial small recurring charges, shows that 61% of people have more than $50 a month in these small charges; 38.7% have more than $100 a month; and 14.5% have more than $200 a month in charges where no single charge is over $100. Additionally, three of the median person's four small recurring monthly charges go to merchants they never otherwise interact with.

The financial unraveling of Jon Venetos' Lurin Capital is now the subject of a Federal Bureau of Investigation probe.
An email sent to an investor from the FBI's Dallas Division shared with The Real Deal revealed that the agency has opened an investigation into Venetos, Lurin Capital and **** ociated entities. The note provided an email address through which victims can provide comments and ask questions: LurinVictimsfbi.gov.
The Real Deal also obtained a public link to an FBI form **** led "Lurin Investigation Questionnaire" seeking information from "possible victim" investors. The form asks for details about investors' contributions and any distributions received.
The company's downfall has been punctuated by claims of fraudulent dealings from lenders and former Lurin employees. Keybank accused Venetos of transferring $25,000 from his accounts with the bank to a personal account. Vista Bank accused him of falsifying account statements from the lender in an attempt to take out loans elsewhere.
In addition, a former employee who worked in property management and asked to remain anonymous claimed Lurin lied on reimbursement requests to lenders by inflating costs of repairs and submitting invoices for work that wasn't done.

Broyhill ***** et Management, a Charlotte-based firm, issued its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, which is available for download here. The Broyhill Equity Composite gained 8.8% in Q2, trailing the MSCI All Country World Index's 15.1% and the MSCI ACWI Value Index's 10.8%. For the first half, the Composite returned 2.3%, versus 11.5% for the Index. The letter highlights that a significant portion of the shortfall occurred in April due to market dynamics and geopolitical events, with tech, particularly semiconductors, driving recent gains. Broyhill notes its lack of direct semiconductor exposure but acknowledges potential interest in the sector if opportunities arise, maintaining its investment philosophy focused on capital protection in fragile market conditions. Also, check the fund's top five holdings to see its best picks in 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Broyhill ***** et Management highlighted ServiceNow, Inc. (NYSE:NOW). ServiceNow, Inc. (NYSE:NOW) is a cloud-based software company that provides a platform for automating and managing digital workflows. On September 14, 2026, ServiceNow, Inc. (NYSE:NOW) closed at $142.35 per share. Over the past month, ServiceNow, Inc. (NYSE:NOW) returned 18.32%, but its shares are down 24.15% over the past year. ServiceNow, Inc. (NYSE:NOW) has a market capitalization of $147.19 billion, and its stock has traded within a 52-week range of $81.24 to $194.73.
Broyhill ***** et Management stated the following regarding ServiceNow, Inc. (NYSE:NOW) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"ServiceNow, Inc. (NYSE:NOW), added in May, fell 21%. The general argument against software fits it poorly. The Now ***** ist annual contract value target was raised by 50% to $1.5 billion, customers spending more than $1 million on it grew 130% year over year, more than half of new business is now priced on consumption rather than seats, and the gross renewal rate is 97%. That is not the profile of an obvious AI victim. While we exited other related exposure where we could not frame the range of outcomes with enough confidence to hold the position (HubSpot and Intuit), we added to ServiceNow."
ServiceNow, Inc. (NYSE:NOW) is not on our list of the 40 Most Popular Stocks Among Hedge Funds. According to our database, 115 hedge fund portfolios held ServiceNow, Inc. (NYSE:NOW) at the end of the second quarter, compared to 108 in the previous quarter. While we acknowledge the potential of ServiceNow, Inc. (NYSE:NOW) as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. Robert Kiyosaki isn't pulling punches this time. The "Rich Dad Poor Dad" author said on X early Tuesday that the "biggest crash in history has started," pointing to turbulence in Europe and **** an as the opening act of a global downturn he says he predicted more than two decades ago.
Kiyosaki tied his warning to his 2002 book, "Rich Dad's Prophecy," which he said was written to help people "profit and not be victims" of a massive stock and bond market collapse.
He argues that the crash is now unfolding in 2026, driven by a mix of AI mania, geopolitical tensions including the war in Iran, excessive debt levels, and the retirement of the Baby Boom generation.
"In 2026, that crash started, in Europe and **** an and is spreading across the world. It's caused by many factors, the AI frenzy, war in Iran, too much debt, and a retiring Baby Boom generation," he wrote on X.
For investors with 401(k)s, IRAs, or similar retirement accounts, especially those over 40, the message is stark: you may be in trouble unless you act.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Pop superstar Taylor Swift was back at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night, and sitting alongside Tom Cruise, to watch new husband Travis Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs open the NFL season against the Denver Broncos.
It was the first time Swift has seen Kelce play since they were married over the summer.
The 14-time Grammy Award winner decided to skip the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, though it wasn't necessarily a big surprise. Even though "The Eras Tour: The Final Show" was nominated for outstanding variety special (pre-recorded), the category winner already was announced at the Creative Arts Emmys earlier this month, with "The Muppet Show" taking top honors.
The Emmys had fun with the possibility of Swift's attendance, airing a recorded bit where the "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" cast, led by host Mariska Hargitay, is trying to figure out whether she will be there. Swift herself appears at the end, though not as herself.
"Maybe she'll do one those cool, pre-taped sketch things to support the host," Swift's character says.

The entire AFC North began the season with a win to get to 1-0.
Well, everyone except for the Cleveland Browns.
While the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Baltimore Ravens all left Week 1 with a win, the Browns were the victims of a 34-10 beatdown at the hand of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Deshaun Watson threw an interception on the game's fifth play, and Trevor Lawrence threw four touchdowns over the span of the metaphorical spanking the Jaguars gave Cleveland.
On Football Night In America, former Steelers head coach took a jab at the Browns following the lopsided loss.
"In the words of my friend JuJu Smith-Schuster, the Browns is the Browns," Tomlin said.

"Most of them are already in a charred condition," Richard Allan Mangalip, a forensic specialist from the Philippine National Police, told reporters on Sunday. Family members have been asked to help identify victims with personal items or DNA samples.
The MV June Aster was heading from Manila to Coron in Palawan province, a popular holiday destination, when a fire started in its cargo hold and spread rapidly throughout the vessel.
Forty-three people survived the disaster, while 13 people remain unaccounted for, authorities said.
Mangalip said they were "trying [their] best to collect the possible identifying marks" from victims' remains.

A man who stabbed his housemate to death over a £10 phone debt has been jailed for life.
Mark Jesse, 51, attacked Charlie Belsham at their address on Castle Road in Chatham on 1 November 2025, after Jesse became angered about a row between his victim and Ashley Robinson - a visitor to the property - regarding the sale of a mobile.
Kent Police said Jesse later went to Belsham's room, then reportedly emerged saying: "I've stabbed him in the ribs."
Having previously been found guilty of murder, Jesse was jailed for a minimum of 20 years at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday for "unjustifiable and rash" actions which "tragically cut short someone's life over a simple argument", according to police.
Police said Belsham, who was in his 40s, was found with a single fatal stab wound to the chest.

Tommy McMillen doesn't always make it look pretty but he sure knows how to put on a show as he won a back-and-forth war against Marwan Rahiki at Noche UFC on Saturday.
The featherweights battled it out over three rounds with Rahiki nearly scoring a finish in the second round and then McMillen storming back to win the third round and the fight. It was a wild affair but when the final horn sounded, McMillen had done enough for the victory with the judges scoring the fight 29-28, 29-28 and 29-27 in his favor.
"Let's go Arizona!" McMillen shouted to his home audience. "He had a pretty good second round, busted me up a little bit but I knew I could out dog him.
"Tomorrow morning, I'm going hopt on a [plane] to Vegas and I'll be there on Dec. 12 waiting on my next victim and my next $100K bonus."
An early takedown opened the fight for McMillen but Rahiki was quick to break free and get back to the feet. The featherweights were just standing and banging with both landing some solid strikes along the way. A late pair of right hands from McMillen definitely caught Rahiki off guard as they continued blasting away at each other.

Joe Burrow's former teammate thinks NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani's heartfelt 9/11 admission is a lie.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani recently gave an emotional speech about the tragic events of 9/11 in 2001.
Even 25 years later, the wounds of the tragedy are fresh among the families of the victims. Connecting with the victims, Mamdani claimed that the 'real victim' of the incident was his aunt.
That didn't sit well with Joe Burrow's former teammate Breiden Fehoko, who went off at the NYC Mayor.

Justin Martinez was immaculate on Friday.
To be more specific, the Arizona Diamondbacks reliever threw an immaculate inning against the Texas Rangers, striking out three hitters on three pitches each in the sixth frame. Six of those pitchers were faster than 100 mph.
The victims: Wyatt Langford, Evan Carter and Jake Burger.

With only 123 immaculate innings in MLB history, it remains a feat more rare than a no-hitter, though there have been far more in recent years as pitchers dial up their velocity and throw fewer complete games.

Friday marked the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on New York City. And the two Major League Baseball teams who played a role in the city's emotional recovery met at Yankee Stadium to commemorate the occasion, allowing fans to remember and pay tribute to all those affected by what happened 25 years ago.
Both the New York Yankees and New York Mets wore first responder caps paying tribute to the FDNY and NYPD.
Earlier in the day, Yankees manager Aaron Boone was joined by Aaron Judge and Gerrit Cole to lay a wreath beside a plaque in Yankee Stadium's Monument Park paying tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11.

Members of the 2001 team that advanced to the World Series took the field, beginning with manager Joe Torre. He was followed by key team leaders Jorge Posada and Paul O'Neill. Tino Martinez and Scott Brosius, who hit home runs in that World Series then joined their teammates. Finally, Hall of Famers Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera came out to the pitching mound with the other five.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., were lambasted Friday for appearing to share a moment of levity at the 9/11 Memorial in lower Manhattan during the solemn reading-of-the-names of victims.
Mamdani was already facing criticism from some 9/11 victims' families over his attendance when a television feed showing the reading of victims' names cut from a young man sobbing at the memorial to the mayor and congresswoman appearing to grin and laugh as they spoke, though their conversation was inaudible.
"Disgraceful," said Steve Guest, a former top staffer for Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas. "AOC and Mamdani look happy."

CNN correspondent Donie O'Sullivan delivered a near-perfect demonstration Thursday of what happens when a troll arrives hungry for a viral hit only to discover his intended victim seems to be bemused by the shtick, leaving him performing the confrontation largely by himself.
MAGA provocateur Alex Stein approached O'Sullivan as the CNN reporter was setting up a camera at President Donald Trump's GOP midterm convention in Dallas, Texas, already filming and apparently ready for confrontation.

This weekend marks a solemn anniversary in our nation's history. 25 years ago on September 11, 2001, the United States was attacked by terrorists that hijacked commercial airlines and flew them into both towers of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. On Saturday, both the Texas Longhorns and Ohio State Buckeyes will honor that tragedy on their helmets.
It has been called this generation's Pearl Harbor. 9/11 is a day that everyone remembers exactly what they were doing when they found out America had been attacked. 2,977 died as a result of the terrorist attacks. The horrific memories are vivid even now. Every year, there are remembrances on the anniversary. But this year is different. 25 years is a grim milestone of morning that changed the world forever.

Texas and Ohio State will wear commemorative decals on their helmets to honor the victims and first responders that America lost on that day. 441 emergency workers died on 9/11, making it the largest loss of first responders in a single day in U.S. history.
We will never forget those whose lives were lost on September 11th, 2001.
Tomorrow, we’ll wear these decals in remembrance and honor of their memory. 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/FuPSLpqN14
