Jaylen Brown said goodbye to his old fans of the Boston Celtics at a fan festival in Boston where he was honored by supporters.
Brown spent 10 dedicated seasons wearing Celtics green and was the star who won Finals MVP when it came to delivering them their first championship since 2008.
He was traded away and never had a chance to betray the fanbase, so he was given a hero's goodbye at a recent fan festival which also had Mayor Jennifer Wu in attendance.
Brown took the stage at the 741 Frequency Fest in Boston and addressed the fans, sharing his love with them and thanking them for their support over the last decade.
"I —— love y'all man. Listen up, I ain't got too much to say because I am at a loss for words… I love each and everyone one of y'all. I have been in this city for the last 10 years, and I said 'I'm gonna go to war for this city' when I got here… I just wanna say thank you to Boston. Thank you to the city. And I love you."
