Titan International, Inc. (NYSE:TWI) announced a definitive agreement on September 21 to sell its Italtractor ITM undercarriage business to USCO S.p.A. The initial purchase price is approximately $207 million, while the stated total cash value reaches up to approximately $285 million. Understanding that difference is central to ******* sing the financial flexibility the disposal could create.
Titan International, Inc. (NYSE:TWI) expects approximately $23 million from closing adjustments and $11 million in dividends before closing. Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (NASDAQ:HBAN) dropped 5.55% to $15.82 on September 16, 2026, close to its 52-week low. The price movement was triggered by a profit warning at a Barclays conference. Huntington brought down its 2027 EPS guidance from above $1.90 to the range of $1.75-$1.83, and its 2026 net interest income growth from 39%-43% to roughly 35%. What matters more than these numbers is the reason behind them. Deposit costs are rising, and loan pricing is tightening, and it landed on the day the Fed delivered its first interest rate hike since 2023. The drop therefore raises the question: is this an oversold bank or the opening crack in regional-bank margins?
A well-run bank has just lowered its guidance, citing intense competition for deposits and loans. If Huntington feels the margin pressure, then it is likely that its peers feel the same. This explains why Fifth Third shares slid 4.1% on the same afternoon alongside the whole financials group. The Fed's new hike makes the environment more unfavorable for the group in the near term. While rate increases eventually lift ***** et yields, banks must immediately offer higher deposit yields to retain balances, squeezing net interest margins in the near term. Furthermore, accelerated commercial real estate loan payoffs reduced total earning ***** ets, though these early payoffs lower credit risk on the loan book.
The selloff leans too much into the reset. A move to $1.75-$1.83 from above $1.90 is a modest single-digit trim. Huntington sustains its profit as well as its operational performance. Loans reached $189 billion from $50 billion in 2015. Deposits touched $222 billion. And one of the company's biggest growth engines, value-added fee income, compounded at a 14% annual rate since mid-2024, with year-to-date growth near 32%. The income helps offset a notable portion of the spread pressure and offers a competitive edge against pure spread lenders.
A higher-for-longer rate environment carries trade-offs for commercial banks. It drives up deposit expenses, reflecting the margin pressure Huntington reported. It also expands loan yields as credit ***** ets reprice. Deposit beta determines the net effect by measuring how much of each benchmark rate increase the bank transfers to depositors. After the rate hikes, deposit costs typically rise further, so betting on a near-term peak takes some faith. A lower beta allows fee revenue to support earnings, whereas a higher beta keeps the squeeze sustained over multiple quarters.

SPX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:SPXC) announced on September 15 that it completed the acquisition of FIS Water, LLC for approximately $410 million in cash, including certain tax attributes. The acquired business is expected to generate approximately $105 million of revenue in 2026.
That is FIS Water's full-year revenue forecast; its contribution to consolidated 2026 results will reflect the ownership period. The stated cash consideration equals approximately 3.9 times expected annual revenue, making profitability and cash conversion central to the investment case.
FIS Water expands the products SPX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:SPXC) can supply to cooling customers. Its filtration and flow-control products remove solids, maintain water quality, and regulate water movement in commercial and industrial cooling systems, including data centers.
The business has joined the HVAC segment, covering heating, ventilation and air conditioning, within its Cooling operations. Its products complement existing cooling-tower offerings, while its valves and actuators also fit the recently acquired Neptronic controls business.
The strategic attraction is customer overlap. Management identified shared customers, engineering specifications and sales channels, and plans to use its global distribution and equipment-manufacturer relationships to support growth.

On September 15, Digital Realty (NYSE:DLR) made ServiceFabric MCP available, a software layer that lets AI agents design, monitor and troubleshoot network connections across more than 800 data centers, including third-party sites. That nudges a real estate company toward becoming a control panel for enterprise AI. It arrives after second quarter results reported on July 23, when Core FFO per share, the company's preferred earnings yardstick, excluding net promote rose to $2.13 from $1.87 a year earlier. Here is what the launch does, and what it has yet to prove.
The pitch is that enterprise AI needs more than servers. It needs power, cooling, and sovereign placement that software can control. ServiceFabric MCP handles four jobs: designing and provisioning connections, spotting capacity and watching live network health, managing access through OAuth 2, and handing troubleshooting to agents with links into chat and monitoring tools. It is also open by design. Customers do not have to live only in Digital Realty buildings or commit to a single AI model. An IDC research VP argues that public cloud interfaces alone cannot give enterprises enough control over data movement and policy, which favors providers that pair global reach with programmable interconnection. Digital Realty runs the system on its own AI workloads, and See All AI, a medical imaging developer, leans on the Boston campus and ServiceFabric to move large datasets quickly and securely.
The financial engine underneath is running hot. Renewal leases in the second quarter were signed at rates 25.4% higher on a cash basis, which shows customers will pay more to stay put. Signed leases waiting to start added up to a $1.9 billion backlog of annualized base rent at 100% share, so future revenue is already lined up. Management responded by lifting its 2026 Core FFO per share outlook, excluding net promote, to $8.15 to $8.20.
Start with what the launch has not shown yet. Digital Realty itself calls MCP an emerging standard, and ServiceFabric MCP is still being validated across internal, enterprise, and partner deployments. The announcement puts no dollar figure on what it could add to revenue, and the company describes it only as the first programmable surface of a larger architecture that may later stretch into ***** e, power and inventory. Until customers pay for this layer, it is a promising idea more than a line item.
Then there is the bill for the physical side. Digital Realty carried about $18.6 billion of debt at June 30, 2026, and its 2026 development spending outlook, net of partner contributions, now sits at $4.25 billion to $4.75 billion. The outlook also ***** umes new long-term debt priced at 4.5% to 5.5%, up from the earlier 4.0% to 4.5%. To help pay for growth, the company has sold roughly 13.5 million shares this year for about $2.5 billion, which spreads future earnings across more owners. GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE:GEV) is one of Jim Cramer's favorite stocks. Throughout 2025, the CNBC TV host continued to heap praise on the firm. Cramer's praise came at a time when new-age nuclear power and quantum computing stocks were experiencing strong gains. Throughout this period, he continued to **** ert that GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE:GEV) was the only nuclear firm with a stable delivery timeline and the capacity to deliver. In his morning appearance on the 15th, Cramer discussed the recent dip in shares and worries about a slowdown in the AI buildout:
"One company, GE Vernova, which was hit incredibly hard, which actually builds these, was saying they're seeing an order acceleration. So I really doubt the idea there's going to be a decel. Now that stock got hammered yesterday, it's been a horrendous stock since we started getting this political controversy. But again I point out that you just hear no one say anything about pullback."
For GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE:GEV), as perhaps indicated by the share price movement, the narrative is driven by its backlog and overall exposure to AI's power generation demand. On this front, CEO Scott Strazik, another Cramer favorite, outlined during the firm's second quarter earnings that data center orders of $5 billion for H1 2026 had already doubled over the full year 2025 figures. Additionally, during Q2, the firm's total orders touched $24 billion to mark an 88% growth driven by its Power and Electrification segment. As a whole, GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE:GEV)'s Q2 revenue grew by 22% annually, while its overall backlog and electrification backlogs sat at $176 billion and $446 billion.
At the same time, with GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE:GEV) also relying on gas turbines for its business, the debate is also about whether exposure to AI can remove the inherent cyclicality in the business. Additionally, with data centers accounting for 40% of the Electrification business's orders, any slowdown in capex spending by big tech players could generate tailwinds for GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE:GEV). Similarly, while the data center business is booming and the gas generation business remains tied to prices and interest rates, the firm's wind business is a drag and expected to hurt the bottom line throughout 2026.

High Tide Inc. (NASDAQ:HITI) reported record fiscal third-quarter revenue of C$198.8 million on September 14, up 33% year over year. Operating income increased 133% to C$8.7 million for the quarter ended July 31, 2026, yet net cash provided by operating activities slipped to C$10.1 million from C$10.7 million.
High Tide Inc. (NASDAQ:HITI) generated C$11.9 million of operating cash flow before changes in non-cash working capital, up 44%. Working capital then absorbed C$1.8 million, compared with a C$2.4 million release a year earlier. That approximately C$4.2 million unfavorable swing outweighed the improvement before working-capital movements. The question is whether expansion will keep requiring a larger cash commitment.
High Tide Inc. (NASDAQ:HITI) is translating sales growth into stronger operating profitability. Operating income represented approximately 4.4% of revenue, compared with 2.5% a year earlier. That improvement gives the business more room to absorb the costs of expansion.
High Tide Inc. (NASDAQ:HITI) opened four Canadian stores and acquired four more during the quarter. Its German medical-cannabis subsidiary, Remexian, generated C$38.2 million in revenue, up from C$31.6 million sequentially. Remexian distributed 10.2 tonnes, a 35% sequential increase. Both markets offer opportunities to build sales across a larger operating base.
High Tide Inc. (NASDAQ:HITI) also improved operating cash flow to C$4.4 million in the second quarter. For the first nine months, operating cash flow reached C$20.4 million versus C$19.6 million a year earlier. Those comparisons show that the quarterly year-over-year decline sits alongside improving cash generation over other periods.

Exodus Movement, Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN:EXOD) reported on September 11 that August payment-processing gross transaction volume reached $356.8 million, up from $338.0 million in July. Monthly active cards declined to 757,900 from 783,600.
Separately, Web3 exchange-provider processed volume increased to $376.8 million from $314.8 million, while reported monthly active users remained at 1.4 million. The figures show stronger transaction activity alongside fewer active cards and a stable reported user count.
The question is whether that activity produces enough revenue to improve profitability while Exodus Movement, Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN:EXOD) integrates Monavate and reduces costs.
Payment growth persists after adjusting for currency translation. Exodus Movement, Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN:EXOD) converted sterling payment volumes into dollars using average rates of $1.35 per pound for August and $1.34 for July. Reversing those conversions implies approximately 4.8% growth in underlying sterling volume, compared with 5.6% in reported dollars. Both calculations use rounded disclosed figures.
Web3 exchange-provider volume increased approximately 19.7%. XO Swap partners contributed 23% of volume in both months. The unchanged reported share suggests both the partner channel and the remaining business contributed to growth.

Wealthfront Corporation (NASDAQ:WLTH) reported on September 9 that fiscal second-quarter revenue increased 1% to $91.9 million, despite platform ***** ets rising 12% to $99 billion. The quarter ended July 31, 2026. Funded clients increased 14% to 1.51 million, and platform ***** ets surpassed $100 billion by the end of August.
Platform ***** ets measure financial ***** ets held in client accounts. Their growth reflects both net deposits and market movements, so the headline increase does not represent new client money alone.
Adjusted EBITDA declined 15% to $38.1 million, with its margin falling to 41% from 49%. Wealthfront Corporation (NASDAQ:WLTH) defines this non-GAAP measure as net income excluding interest expense, income taxes, depreciation and amortization, stock-based compensation, fair-value changes in convertible notes, warrant liabilities and simple agreements for future equity, and nonrecurring expenses. Adjusted EBITDA margin divides that figure by revenue.
The advisory business is translating ***** et growth into revenue. Investment advisory ***** ets increased 30% to $54.1 billion, while advisory revenue rose 31% to $28.8 million. Those results show that the expanding investment business is generating a larger recurring fee stream.

NBC4's helicopter was one of several news aircraft flying over the scene of a deadly bus crash in Chatsworth Tuesday evening at sunset.
It's common for multiple news choppers to arrive at the scene of breaking news, beaming live images for newscasts and streaming.
But around 7 p.m., something went horribly wrong and in a matter of seconds the NBC4 chopper dropped out of the sky, crashing into shipping containers and vehicles outside a warehouse a few blocks away, bursting into flames. Two station journalists, reporter Eliana Moreno and pilot George Marciniw, were killed along with a bystander on the ground.
Federal investigators are now trying to figure out what went wrong. The Times interviewed several experts, who reviewed recordings of the chopper's final moments. They offered insights into the helicopter itself, its movements that afternoon and what is known about how its mechanics work.
