Though far from an underground designer, Burch took her show to subterranean levels before she reached new heights with her collection and her front row, which included a fashionably timely Lauryn Hill, flanked by daughter Sara Marley and niece Kymora Marley, as well as actress Amanda Seyfried, "Saturday Night Live" alum Chloe Fineman and fashion power broker Anna Wintour.
Alex Eala, the young newcomer who dominated at the US Open until her defeat by best friend and fellow young star Iva Jovic, also joined along with emerging talent Ravyn Lenae and established celebrities like Padma Lakshmi and director Janicza Bravo.

Last night in New York City, the Kering Foundation held its fifth annual Caring for Women dinner in the midst of New York Fashion Week. Co-hosted by founders (and spouses) Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault, the event raises money to end gender-based violence, and it's become one of the starriest fundraisers of September—as well as a ****** e where the stars can get a bit daring with their looks.
This year, one of the most memorable ensembles of the night came courtesy of Pamela Anderson. Days after making a statement in a bright orange dress at the amfAR Gala Venezia, the queen of makeup-free red-carpet appearances turned heads again in an elegant all-black look that exuded classic Hollywood bombshell glamour.

Anderson—who often styles herself—wore a sleek design from Gucci by Demna. The high-neck dress featured a semi-sheer, jersey-style fabric that cloaked The Naked Gun actor, leaving a few bare bits of skin thanks to a cutout around back, and a high slit that ran up the side of the skirt, exposing one of her legs. What's a birthday party without confetti and a few tears? There were certainly both at Coach's Spring 2027 show, at which the brand celebrated its 85th anniversary. But while eight and a half decades in business is a pretty big deal, creative director Stuart Vevers wasn't interested in a mere anniversary spectacle rehashing the label's greatest hits. Instead, he used the milestone as a chance to revisit the pieces and ideas that have come to define Coach by pulling them apart (quite literally in some cases—see the Inside-Out Brooklyn Tote) and putting them back together in ways that felt totally fresh.
"I didn't want to make a retrospective," Vevers said in a press release, explaining that his latest collection is centered around the concept of memory, and the way familiar things change and evolve as we live with them. After 85 years, Coach has plenty of history to draw from, but Vevers isn't interested in preserving it with museum-level precision. He'd rather draw straight from the source material and turn it into something simultaneously familiar and brand new.
To that end, the show opened with hallmark Coach silhouettes rendered in cool neutrals: oversized trench coats, tailored jackets, structured leather bags, and chunky pendants, all in shades of dove gray, black, white, soft brown, and natural leather. Some of the tailoring was made from garment-dyed, sun-faded jersey, which gave a blazer or trench coat's shape a hoodie-like softness. It was a clever way of presenting Coach's heritage in a manner that felt lived-in rather than preserved behind glass, as if these brand signatures had been worn, washed, and loved over the course of many years. Meanwhile, bias-cut dresses and skirts came in everything from repurposed lining fabrics and overdyed georgette to denim and lamé, adding another layer of innovation to the line-up.

Midway through the show, the parade of earth tones gave way to something much brighter and bolder. Models took to the catwalk in head-to-toe sequin dresses and maxi-skirt sets in powder pink, periwinkle, mint, and metallics. Alongside them came gift boxes reimagined as purses, leather birthday hats, and crowns, pushing the subtle anniversary theme into a full-blown party motif.

CHISINAU, Moldova (AP) — A flight that was scheduled to carry Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy from Moldova to Norway earlier this week was delayed when authorities closed Moldova's airspace because of a drone incursion, a government spokesperson said.
Moldovan police said a Russian drone crashed on Tuesday in a sunflower field on the outskirts of a village in the district of Riscani, which caused four fires to break out but no injuries.
Government spokesperson Dumitru Ciorici said on Wednesday that Moldova had closed its airspace Tuesday afternoon to protect aircraft flying over the country at the time. The closure delayed three departures, including the flight carrying Zelenskyy.
Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre told broadcaster NRK that Zelenskyy's plane "was nearly hit by a drone as it took off from Moldova" on its way to Oslo for King Harald V's funeral. Zelenskyy arrived in Oslo on Tuesday and met Støre to discuss potential support for Ukraine's air defenses before attending the king's funeral on Wednesday.
Moldovan authorities confirmed the drone came down and exploded 160 kilometers (100 miles) from Chisinau International Airport. The airspace restrictions were lifted and Zelenskyy's plane took off later than scheduled.

The 59-year-old opted for an elegant lilac ensemble for the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony on September 7, pairing a chiffon-pleated top with long, floaty sleeves with a figure-hugging maxi skirt.
Instead of coordinating her footwear, Pamela took a walk on the wild side and rocked a pair of black-and-white, pointed-toe leopard-print heels, shunning the typical brown-and-black animal print.
Completing her look, she wore cat-eye sunglasses, an oval lilac clutch, and her platinum blonde hair in soft curls.
The Golden Lion ceremony was held in honor of actress Ellen Burstyn, best known for her work in The Exorcist, Flowers in the Attic, and Requiem for a Dream.

The rapper was wearing a brown leather jacket over a white tee. For his lower half, he opted for black leather pants. He pulled his sunglasses onto the crown of his head as he stood with his phone pointed towards the stage where North was performing.
The 13-year-old wore a white military-style jacket adorned with metallic buckles, introducing a Labor Day-inspired twist to her look. She paired it with a ruffled white skirt and matching white boots. Her neon blue hair was styled in high pigtails, complete with a lacy white bonnet. Her signature dermal piercing and a full face of glam completed her look.

As President of the Jury, and knowing all we know about Maggie's style, we weren't expecting anything elaborate. But I have to say, I really enjoyed this Chloé Fall 2025 look.
I love the eggplant hue of the cropped blouse, with the ruffles adding just enough drama to make this feel worthy of the occasion without taking Maggie too far outside her comfort zone.
I also prefer her black trousers to the sheer taupe skirt we saw on the runway. They allow the blouse to remain the focal point and make the look feel much more like Maggie.
