Daniel Coleman, the creator of the YouTube series Danny Go!, has paid tribute to his beloved late son Isaac Coleman on what would have been his 15th birthday.
In an emotional post on Instagram on October 4, Daniel, 41, remembered Isaac who died in May after he was diagnosed with stage 3 mouth cancer.
"Isaac would have turned 15 today. It's been four and a half months since he passed, and the deep sense of loss has only gotten stronger," he wrote. "We talk about him constantly, and the reminiscing always brings such a strange mix of joy, pride, nostalgia and pain."

The Bemidji State men's hockey team's top-line center was named the league's Preseason Player of the Year in the Coaches and Media Polls.
Bemidji State was picked to finish fifth in both polls. Michigan Tech was selected as the league's top team in both polls as well.
Peer, a native of Burlington, Ontario, had 20 goals and 16 ******* ists last year in his first season with the Beavers. He transferred from the University of New Brunswick (U Sports) ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Naturally, Peer was also selected to be on both of the All-CCHA Preseason Teams. A lineup missing its leading threat mustered five hits in a 3-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday, undermining a determined start by right-hander Peter Lambert and ensuring a series loss to the American League's first playoff entrant at Tropicana Field.
The Astros, who entered with the fifth-fewest runs in the majors since the Aug. 3 trade deadline, scored three or fewer for the 21st time in 35 games in that stretch. The offensive downturn might be presenting a direr threat to their playoff hopes if not for an inept division. High school football is in full swing across the country. The Gophers' 29 commits in the class of 2027 were busy, and here are the most notable performances from the Week of Sep. 7-12. Last week's top performers.
The star-studded Spuds had another impressive 42-26 win over Woodbury in their second game of the season. Quarterback Jett Feeney went 15 of 20 for 206 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Wide receiver David Mack had five receptions for 76 yards and DB/WR Zak Walker had an 88-yard kick return. Running back Taye Reich had the best game of the four with 12 carries for 177 rushing yards and 3 total touchdowns.

Las Vegas, Nevada native Jayden Thomas continues to have a red-hot start to his senior season. He had three receptions for 87 yards this week, and his season-long total is now up to 28 catches for 591 yards and 6 touchdowns through five games.
Maryland native Carlos Ferguson probably had the best performance from the wide receivers this week with 7 receptions for 92 yards and 2 TDs. He now has 18 catches for 257 yards and 3 touchdowns through three games. Texas native Kevin Ferrygood also had a 20-yard touchdown. A whole new generation is about to be introduced to one of the most beloved boy bands of the 1990s when Taylor Hanson begins his dance journey on Dancing With the Stars. The middle Hanson brother is partnered with Britt Stewart in Season 35 of the dance competition.

Carter Jensen hit a pair of doubles, drove in a run, and scored a pair to lead the Royals to their second straight victory and first win against Boston since August 6 of last year. The final score was 3-2 in favor of Kansas City.
It was kind of a weird start for Seth Lugo. I attempted to do a reverse jinx on him with the game preview, and he ultimately allowed only two runs in five innings. That's good enough for now. However, looking toward the future, allowing 7 hits and 2 walks, even while striking out 7, in 5 innings is not a recipe for sustained success.
He only threw seven of his pitches tonight and, perhaps most notably, eschewed the slow curve entirely. The curveball and four-seamer were both much more effective than they have been of late. Perhaps this is a sign he's on the rebound.
For a while it seemed like the jinx on Sonny Gray might work, too. Gray came into the game with a 1.74 ERA against the Royals, the best among any pitchers with at least 10 starts against the team. Jensen's first double led off the game. He advanced to third on a groundout from Bobby Witt Jr. and scored on a Salvador Perez single when Gray inexplicably threw Salvy a sinker in instead of the usual breaking stuff away.
In the third inning, it seemed like the Royals might just go ahead and knock out Gray then and there. Isaac Collins led off with an automatic double at 103.2 MPH down the right field line that hopped over the short fence near the pole. Carter followed up by smashing one at 102.6 off the monster in left to trade places with Collins. Bobby flew out to center at 103.3 to advance Carter to third and Vinnie Pasquantino hit one at 102.4 to give the Royals their final run. Sadly, Salvy grounded into a double play to end the inning and that was the last time KC would score.

Zemecha McManus took first for Pacelli, while Isaac Johnson was fourth and Kedi Oman took fifth. Pacelli was just one point behind first place Zumbrota-Mazeppa/Kenyon-Wanamingo.
Hayfield freshman Hadley Doman won the girls race with a time of 19:23.7 and Blooming Prairie senior Gloria Hernandez took second with a time of 20:09.7.

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs was rewarded in August with a three-year, $67.5 million contract extension, a deal that made him the highest-paid running back in NFL history as he enters his fourth season. He is one of the core pieces on this offense for the Lions.
Gibbs is primed for a huge season after the Lions traded running back David Montgomery to the Houston Texans in March. As the featured three-down back, it is quite possible that Gibbs can carry the ball more than 300 times in the 2026 NFL season.
Candace Pedraza of Side Lion Report listed five winners and three losers from the offseason as Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season approaches. Gibbs landed on the winners side alongside the rookie class, Aidan Hutchinson, Isaac TeSlaa and the team's undrafted free agents. Pedraza wrote:
"Gibbs has an excellent shot at winning OPOY or MVP, or both, this season. Lindsey Brooke Isaacs was asleep at home when police arrived and told the 23-year-old that her car had been involved in a crash that killed three people. She knew they had the wrong person. Her black Dodge Durango showed no obvious collision damage, and she had a receipt showing where she had been.
Still, the investigation eventually led to her being arrested and 13 days in jail. "My heart was in my stomach," Lindsey told me on The CyberGuy Report Podcast at Cyberguy.com/podcast/. "I didn't know what was going on."
Months later, prosecutors dropped all eight felony charges against her and investigators arrested another woman in connection with the crash. Her case now raises a bigger question about how much weight investigators should give license plate camera data when a person's freedom is on the line.

Winning the program's first state championship in 2025 - in his first season no less - hasn't affected St. Ignatius football coach JaJuan Lawson or his Wildcats one bit. Despite losing 38 seniors to graduation, including eight All-West Catholic Athletic League performers, St. Ignatius has been perhaps the most impressive team in the WCAL through two weeks. The Wildcats have recorded back-to-back identical 42-7 wins over two-time North Bay state champions San Marin-Novato and Marin Catholic-Kentfield.
Senior running back Luke Tribolet has been a workhorse with 34 carries for 208 yards and four touchdowns. Sophomore quarterback Isaac Liu has been terrific with 23 completions in 32 pass attempts for 350 yards and five touchdowns, three to junior Davion Moffett.
The defense has exceeded all expectations, led by junior linebacker Jack Riedy (12 tackles) and sophomore defensive back Casey Nelson (two interceptions, two caused fumbles, two recoveries).
"I don't think winning a state ***** le created any extra pressure on these kids," Lawson said. "We play in the most difficult league in Northern California. We're trying to get back to the top of the league honestly and that's what drives us. … New group, new goals."
The new goal is getting some revenge on Friday night and to beat one of the best teams in Northern California when the Wildcats visit Acalanes-Lafayette (2-0). The Wildcats, ranked seventh in the Metro Area, lost a wild 42-35 game last season in San Francisco to Acalanes, which is currently ranked No. 5 in the Bay Area.

It comes not just against a background of rising, bipartisan opposition to ground-based data centers but also the recent announcement of an immense, **** eX Starbase to be built in Louisiana.
Many people oppose data centers out of the same kind of "NIMBY" emotion that fueled opposition to nuclear power plants and hydraulic fracking. They view them as big, noisy eyesores that will consume a lot of electricity and water to the detriment of local communities.
Opposition to ground-based AI data centers is not universal. Trade unions, which foresee lots of jobs being created in their construction and operation, are warmly supporting them. On the other hand, if Meta's experiments with using robots at data centers pans out, those jobs may be fewer than many expect.
The reason that many people are opposed to AI data centers in their communities may have less to do with objective facts than a Chinese disinformation campaign to turn them against such facilities. Engadget reports that X uncovered a Chinese bot farm with 200,000 accounts, 200 of which were used to manipulate the debate about data centers.
It should be noted that the Chinese are going pedal to the metal to create their own data centers. As a totalitarian country, China is not concerned with public opinion one way or the other. Beijing is determined to dominate AI according to its ideology and interests.

The Diamondbacks came into the game looking for a series win, and with a little bit of luck, putting some more ***** e between their competition for the final NL Wild Card spot. Having Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound was a point in their favor, but the offense still RVSP'd maybe when invited to the game.
The Diamondbacks were quiet in the top of the first, with the only baserunner being a Geraldo Perdomo hit by pitch, and that allowed the Astros to strike first. E-Rod got Jeremy Pena to ground out, but Yordan Alvarez absolutely clobbered one for a solo home run. That was the first indication that Rodriguez didn't have his best stuff today, but the next few batters hammered that home, even if there wasn't much damage done. He walked both Isaac Paredes and Christian Walker, but alternated those walks with a line out from Jose Altuve and got out of the jam with a Nelson Velasquez strike out. 0-1 Astros
This, of course, did raise some concerns amongst the faithful about the early need to score more than one run. That's been a challenge for the Diamondbacks, last night's four run outbreak aside. The offense decided to do some to ***** uage those fears, but did not manage to score multiple runs right away. Corbin Carroll started off the second inning with a double, advanced on a sac bunt from Tommy Troy, and then scored on a sac fly from James McCann. Illdemaro Vargas tried to keep things going with a two out single, but Lawler was unable to step up and ended the inning with a line out to third. Tied 1-1
Rodriguez issues with command continued right away in the bottom of the second, walking Dalton Varsho. Never a good idea to walk someone like him, as he showed when he stole second to get into scoring position two outs later. Too late for it to matter, though, as Jeremy Pena only saw three pitches and flew out to end the inning.
The third inning was… something. Perdomo singled to lead off the inning, bringing Ketel Marte to the plate. Marte got an 86 MPH changeup down and away and turned it around for what looked like an easy single. The only with that is the ball also acted as a heat seeking missel straight to Perdomo's helmet. He hit the ground immediately and quickly found himself surrounded by trainers from both teams. Eventually he left under his own power to a nice ovation from the Houston crowd, as one does.

Despite starting 32 minutes later than anticipated due to lightning in the area, Saturday saw Jaylen Raynor pass for two touchdowns and run for a pair as Iowa State (1-0, 0-0 Big 12) opened the Jimmy Rogers era with a 38-10 win over SEMO (1-1, 0-0 OVC).
Even though the first two plays from scrimmage by Aiden Flora gained 22 yards on the ground – a rush of 17 yards and a rush of five yards – a pair of incompletions brought out Jonah DuPont who punted 39 yards to the Redhawks' 14-yard line.
The ensuing SEMO drive was a three-and-out, but, notably for the Cyclones defense Isaac "Bobby" Terrell picked up the first of his three sacks on the day. Iowa State finished with six sacks to the Redhawks' one.

On a cold November morning, designer Isaac Mizrahi gets up, leaves his apartment, and trudges to the corner newsstand to pick up a copy of Women's Wear Daily. It's the day after Mizrahi's Spring/Summer 1994 show, and the ink on the reviews is still wet. Reading from the pages, he quotes, "'His usually great color sense failed him, his fabric sense failed him, and certainly, his sense of how a modern woman dresses after 8 p.m. failed him." The verdict is withering. Mizrahi, one of the great artists of '90s ready-to-wear fashion, has been tossed out. Disgraced. Lightly "cancelled," as some might call it these days.
Douglas Keeve's sublime 1995 documentary, "Unzipped," follows Mizrahi in the aftermath of a train wreck, piecing his reputation back together with his next collection, attempting to make something beautiful from the rubble. We find Mizrahi's world in grayscale, drained of color in the wake of critical and cultural failure. Then, the opening notes of Sandra Bernhard's 1994 cover of Sylvester's "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" cue the pigmentation, cascading over bright images of models in fittings, garments hanging from racks, and plenty of DayGlo faux furs. In her version, Bernhard alters the lyrics to pay tribute to Sylvester, whose untimely death left an immense legacy. "Sylvester, sister," Bernhard coos, "You were so beautiful, you were so fragile, you were so . . . real."
But just before Bernhard finishes the word, the song fades to silence, as if to say that realness — genuine authenticity in your life and work, at the cost of criticism — will always be snuffed out before it can be fully appreciated. That is the price of beauty. What is up must always come down.

After years in cinematic obscurity — the film hasn't been readily available outside of the eBay market in decades — "Unzipped" will return to theaters later this month, with a loving 4K restoration from Janus Films, just as another fashion-world controversy is heating up. After years in cinematic obscurity — the film hasn't been readily available outside of the eBay market in decades — "Unzipped" will return to theaters later this month, with a loving 4K restoration from Janus Films, just as another fashion-world controversy is heating up. Earlier this week, the Metropolitan Museum of Art declared it would no longer proceed with its Costume Institute's upcoming exhibition honoring John Galliano, scheduled to debut next year. When the scrapped "John Galliano: Horizons" was announced in July, the exhibition was immediately met with an outpouring of criticism. Detractors accused the museum of being tone deaf, citing a 2011 video of Galliano going on a drunken antisemitic and racist rant at a Paris bar, for which Galliano was promptly ousted from his spot as creative director at Dior. Following the video surfacing, Galliano apologized, went to rehab, and, over the last few years, experienced a brand resurgence that some would call a whitewashing.

The good thing about this week's series in the land of the Crawford Boxes and the choo-choo is that both Sean Burke and Davis Martin pitched extremely well, a big turnaround from their recent starts and a good sign for the stretch run. The bad thing — well, besides nearly the entire offense — is that Luis Castillo once again demonstrated that while Chris Getz may have had a very nice offseason, he had a miserable trade deadline.
Castillo started out looking good, striking out Jeremy Peña and Yordan Alvarez. He then walked Isaac Paredes on 10 pitches and threw José Altuve a fastball that would have been a strike on Aaron Judge but was nose-high on Altuve. Altuve still sent it into the Crawford Boxes to make it 2-0 Astros.
The lead didn't last long. Braden Montgomery singled off Hunter Brown to lead off the second, and Colson Montgomery followed with a routine ground ball to second. Peña blew the relay, though, and Chase Meidroth followed with an unplayable 50-mph dribbler. Jake Rogers and Sam Antonacci then delivered actual singles to tie the score.
There being no other Sox offensive highlights, what the heck, let's show you the RBIs. First, Jake's:
Nice stop by Peña, nice hustle by a catcher to avoid the DP. Then Sam's, which actually made it to the outfield.

Twenty-one years ago, the White Sox swept the Astros in the World Series to end an 88-year championship drought, bringing baseball jubilation to the south side of Chicago. Occasional regular-season interleague series followed until 2013, when Houston made the move from the NL Central to the AL West, inviting the possibility that the two franchises could meet far more frequently in October. And in an ultra-weak American League (particularly outside the AL East), an unlikely race has surfaced between the White Sox and Astros, the current Central and West leaders, to claim the No. 2 seed and the valuable first-round bye that comes with it. As such, this week's four-game series at Daikin Park carried a ton of weight with October fast approaching. On the two-month anniversary of Juventus Women hiring Isaac Guerrero as their new head coach, the Spanish tactician got his new-look squad past the final hurdle necessary to see them qualify for the Women's Champions League league phase once again.
For some, that was going to be quite the task with so much turnover this summer and Guerrero having little time to get to work with his new team before the qualification process got underway last month.
But in front of the hometown crowd — and some very notable front office member from both the men's and women's sporting area — in Biella on Wednesday night, Guerrero's Bianconere got the result they needed, a 1-1 draw, against Austrian side St. Pölten to qualify for the UWCL league phase. Portuguese midfielder Tatiana Pinto scored Juventus Women's lone goal of the night five minutes before halftime, but it was the 3-0 victory last week in Austria that allowed the Bianconere to see out the game and claim the 4-1 advantage on aggregate in the final round of the qualification path.
And with it came a ticket into the 16-team league phase — which is in effect for a second season after they made the switch to replicate the men's setup at the beginning of last season's competition.
Juve got through the four-team mini tournament last month. They then got a much less complicated draw against St. Pölten as compared to two years ago when they had to go through a Paris Saint-Germain side that was one of the last teams standing the season prior to make the group stage.

HOUSTON (AP) — Nelson Velázquez hit a two-run single in the eighth inning to break a scoreless tie, Hayden Wesneski and two relievers combined on a three-hitter and the Houston Astros defeated the Chicago White Sox 2-0 on Wednesday night.
With one out in the eighth, Yordan Alvarez singled and Isaac Paredes walked before Jose Altuve was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Pinch-runner Nick Allen was thrown out at home trying to score on a grounder by Daulton Varsho back to Sean Newcomb (2-4) before Velázquez laced his single into left-center field.
Wesneski allowed one hit with five strikeouts over seven shutout innings. He has allowed one run and five hits over his last three starts, a span of 17 innings. A.J. Blubaugh (5-2) gave up two hits in the eighth before Josh Hader pitched the ninth for his 22nd save.
Wesneski retired 14 of the last 15 batters he faced, including 12 straight between a one-out walk to Sam Antonacci in the third and a one-out walk to Braden Montgomery in the seventh.
Davis Martin scattered five hits with three strikeouts over 5 2/3 scoreless innings in his first start since Aug. 13. Martin, who had been on the 15-day injured list with a right middle finger blister, was activated before the game.
