Kourtney Kardashian and her kids made sweet memories during their "big family vacation" this month. On August 22, the Poosh founder shared a carousel of photos featuring her, her husband, Travis Barker, and their blended family. She gave a rare glimpse at her older kids, Mason, Penelope and Reign Disick.
Kourtney Kardashian enjoyed her time with her family during an unforgettable holiday in Utah. She also shared rare photos of her kids. In one photo, her oldest son, 16-year-old Mason Disick, stood on a rock formation while facing away from the camera. He was wearing a black tee with a graphic print on the back. He paired it with gray sweatpants and brown hiking boots. A blue backpack sat on his shoulders.
The mother-of-four also posted glimpses of her other kids having fun during the vacation. One video captured Reign Disick on the waves with a friend as they went tubing. The final slide featured Penelope Disick in a pink bikini set from KHY x Frankies Bikinis, a collaboration between her aunt Kylie Jenner's brand KHY and the iconic swimwear brand. In the clip captured from behind, Disick waved at her mother, who was approaching on a different boat.
One photo showed Travis Barker holding his and Kardashian's two-year-old son, Rocky Thirteen Barker, under an archway. While only the father-son duo's silhouettes were visible in the shadowy picture, it gave a peek at the little boy's long brown hair. In another photo, Barker's 20-year-old son, Landon Barker, could be seen lounging on a boat deck.
The 47-year-old showed off her curves in some pictures, donning several skimpy pieces from the KHY x Frankies Bikinis collection, including a leopard print set. She captioned the post, "big family vacation girl." Khloe Kardashian expressed her love by dropping a string of red hearts in the comments, while Kris Jenner commented with heart-eyes emojis.

From a potential departure to a player Gian Piero Gasperini wants to continue working on.
The situation surrounding Robinio Vaz, the young Roma striker who managed to gain the trust of the Giallorossi coach during preseason training, has changed over the summer.
At the start of the training camp, the Frenchman's future seemed unclear, with the possibility of a temporary transfer to allow him to find greater consistency.
As the weeks passed, writes La Gazzetta dello Sport, however, Vaz's quality and room for growth have won over Gasperini.
The coach has decided to work directly with the player, attempting to develop his skills and establish him as a permanent fixture in the first team's attacking rotation.

Liga MX is back in EA Sports FC 27.
The league is returning to the beloved video game franchise for the first time since 2022 when it signed an exclusive deal with rival Konami and its eFootball series.
But who's on top?
Rather than dynamic attackers like Tigres star Juan Brunetta, who is one of six players with a 78 overall rating, or Toluca forward Paulinho, who is second in the league with a 79, it's a defensive player who takes the crown.
Pumas goalkeeper Keylor Navas, still strong in goal after a legendary career with Real Madrid, PSG and the Costa Rica national team, has an 80 overall rating and tops the heap.

It's easy to see why Casey Barner Jr. is among the best safeties in the country. With his physicality and burst, he wins battles on both sides of the ball. In McEachern High School's (Powder Springs, GA) opening game on Wednesday, Aug. 19, the junior showed why he's one of the most electric players in the nation, regardless of class.
He powered the Indians' 40-10 win over Kell (Marietta, GA) and was named MVP of the Corky Kell + Dave Hunter Classic after recording a 58-yard touchdown run and an interception.
Barner's TD run was his first carry of the season, a dash in which he broke through a couple defenders and outpaced the rest to break open the score 13-3 as the first quarter neared its end.
His interception in the third quarter was a beauty, using his closing speed to track down the ball and rip it away from a receiver who didn't look like he expected Barner to be there yet.
He returned the interception to midfield, putting the Indians in position to extend their lead to 27-3.

This NBA offseason has been an unforgettable one. Both Jaylen Brown and Giannis Antetokounmpo have been traded. LeBron James is on a new team. So much has happened. While there can only be one NBA champion each season, there are a handful of teams that believe they are best suited for the job. On the other end of that equation are the teams who know they don't have what it takes to win the championship, and that's ok.
Each season, rosters around the NBA change drastically. Players get traded, they sign to a new team, or get drafted. Some teams make good moves, some make bad. Some make a lot, some make none. It all depends on the state of your team. Whether it looks like a good move or a bad move, only time can tell. It happens every year when teams and fans get ahead of themselves, thinking they are better than they truly are.
So while some teams may fit in that boat, let's take a look at teams that seem to be heading in the right direction going into the 2026-27 season.

The Chicago Bulls have finally begun trending in the right direction, and it all started at the draft lottery. While the Bulls were projected to have around the 9th pick in the 2026 draft, they jumped all the way to the fourth spot and selected Caleb Wilson. A very fortunate beginning to new General Manager Bryson Graham's career. Wilson is exactly what the Bulls needed and what most teams search for. A young player who has star potential that they can build around. In summer league, Wilson looked extremely polished. He is super athletic, proved he can stretch the floor, and truthfully did everything you could ask for in a 20-year-old.

Inter will welcome their only target for the midfield before the opener, as they have reached an agreement with Liverpool to acquire Curtis Jones. They have been courting him since the beginning of the summer. While he was immediately keen on joining, concocting the deal took some work, La Gazzetta dello Sport relays.
In the end, the Reds lowered their demands a little. The Englishman is transferring for €30M, plus €5M add-ons and a 10 percent sell-on clause. He'll sign a five-year contract and make about €4M annually.
Jones is the third player signed by Inter coming from the Premier League this summer after John Stones and Djed Spence. Liverpool ultimately granted a small discount to avoid a Bosman departure in a year. The midfielder seemingly only wanted to head to San Siro.
Christian Chivu was one of the main proponents of the deal. He believes the newcomer will be able to play in multiple positions and bring something different to the table. The Nerazzurri also had to move Davide Frattesi to make room.
They might have some sort of cap when it comes to fees and total packages. It's basically the same operation they devised for Spence. They waited patiently for the sellers to get to their numbers, and not the other way around, after convincing the players, which is a testament to their appeal. They'll be a little overcrowded for a season. However, after all, Hakan Calhanoglu, Piotr Zielinski, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan aren't getting any younger. They were almost irrationally fixated on him, considering his role and what he showed in recent years, so they must have a pretty good plan to make him thrive.

Reports in Italy and Spain claim that Barcelona are interested in an audacious move to sign Inter captain Lautaro Martinez after their unsuccessful pursuit of Atletico Madrid's Julian Alvarez, but the Nerazzurri are not expected to even entertain the idea of selling their talisman.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tuttosport and various others, Barcelona are interested in signing Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, although there have been conflicting reports over the Argentine's preferences.

In Catalonia, there have been suggestions that Lautaro has 'opened the doors' to joining Barcelona, even if arranging a deal with Inter is expected to be complicated, whilst La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that there is no chance of Lautaro leaving San Siro before the end of this summer transfer window.
There had been genuine interest in Lautaro from Barcelona several years ago, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, but given that Barca are still in a complicated financial situation and given that Inter do not want to sell their talisman at any cost, especially with less than a week to go before the start of the Serie A season, the chances of him leaving this month seem slim.

The FIA will enforce its sporting regulations more strictly in Formula E's Gen4 era to clamp down on teams colluding to "manipulate" races.
Manufacturers in Formula E hold significant influence over their customer teams, with some agreements extending far beyond the supply of powertrains. This was particularly evident in last weekend's London finale, when Cupra Kiro driver Dan Ticktum admitted to slowing down in qualifying to help factory Porsche driver Pascal Wehrlein reach the final duel.

Weitz Investment Management, an investment management firm, released its second-quarter Q2 2026 investor letter for the "Large Cap Equity Fund". A copy of the letter can be downloaded here. The Large Cap Equity Fund's Institutional Class posted a return of 7.03% in Q2, trailing the 15.49% return of the Bloomberg U.S. 1000 Index. This disparity arose as equity markets surged amid economic resilience and easing Middle East tensions, while AI-related stock performance soared due to heightened investor interest in "AI bottleneck" beneficiaries, primarily semiconductor firms. Major positions in "hyperscaler" cloud providers yielded mixed results. Risk-on factors like momentum and growth significantly outpaced defensive factors. Despite the current volatility, the Fund maintains its philosophy of investing in quality companies at undervalued prices, believing this strategy will yield improved returns over time. The portfolio held ownership in 30 companies, with the top 10 comprising over half of the portfolio. The price-to-value ratio is in the upper-70s, indicating strong return potential. Additionally, reviewing the Fund's top five holdings could help identify its best picks for 2026.
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, Weitz Investment Large Cap Equity Fund highlighted Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM). Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM) is a building materials company that supplies aggregates and heavy-side building materials to the construction industry. On August 14, 2026, Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM) closed at $547.93 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $32.91 billion. Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM) posted a one‑month return of ‑1.03%, while its shares lost 9.11% over the past 52 weeks.
Weitz Investment Large Cap Equity Fund stated the following regarding Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:

In its Q2 2026 investor letter, Weitz Investment Large Cap Equity Fund highlighted Veralto Corporation (NYSE:VLTO) as a newly added position. Veralto Corporation (NYSE:VLTO) provides water ******* ytics, water treatment, marking and coding, and packaging and color solutions. On August 14, 2026, Veralto Corporation (NYSE:VLTO) closed at $97.68 per share. The one-month return of Veralto Corporation (NYSE:VLTO) was 4.86% and its shares lost 8.45% over the past 52 weeks. Veralto Corporation (NYSE:VLTO) has a market capitalization of $23.81 billion.

Veralto enjoys leading market positions and enviable economics in its water quality and packaging, labeling, and product traceability businesses. We see a clear path to modest organic growth, operating margin expansion, and value-creating capital deployment."

Two goals, impressive numbers, and an unforgettable afternoon at Arena MRV. Tomás Cuello was one of the standout performers in Galo's 3-0 win over Grêmio and, last Sunday, lived one of those days that help define a career.
The goals took the Argentine to six this season, matching his 2025 total. With another six ***** ists, Cuello now has 12 direct goal contributions in 2026. For Atlético, he now has 78 matches, 64 as a starter, 12 goals, and 13 ***** ists — 25 direct goal contributions since joining the club.
But Sunday afternoon cannot be explained by numbers alone. It is the result of a journey that began long before Cuello put on the Galo shirt.
To understand the player who now decides matches and receives the love of the Massa at Arena MRV, you have to go back a few years. Back to Tucumán, through his first experience in Brazilian football, and into a story that says a lot about the Argentine's personality.
During the pandemic, while still playing for Red Bull Bragantino, Cuello had to leave Brazil and return to Argentina. When football resumed, he got the news that he had to return to the club. There were no flights available.

The most unique ballpark innovation in Major League Baseball this season was conceived through something many millions of people do every day: Doomscrolling on Instagram
Last October, Malcolm Rogel, the Seattle Mariners' vice president of fan experience, started seeing videos of Florence, Italy's historic buchetta del vino — wine windows carved out of holes in the wall that originated in the 16th and 17th century. Knock on an ancient set of tiny, non-descript wooden doors during operating hours, and get sold a libation in one of the most unique ways possible. Rogel texted Megan Murray, the district manager at Sodexo Live, which operates concessions at the Mariners' T-Mobile Park, and asked if this concept could be replicated at the stadium.
Over the cold, rainy offseason, Rogel and Murray went to work on bringing this idea to life. Rogel's father-in-law built a wooden door in the shape of home plate. His close friend's son welded a door knocker in the shape of the Mariners' classic trident logo. Murray toured the ballpark with Seattle's liquor control board to get approval for the concept and the location of the door, which opens up to sinks and closets in the back and counter ***** e with enough room for up to seven staffers to safely work within the location's tight confines.
On opening day, the Mariners' Sea-cret Door was born as a speakeasy selling one specialty ***** tail per game, with the concept spread strictly through social media influencers and word of mouth. There's been no team advertising and no mention of the door on radio or TV broadcasts all season — the door's location purposefully kept secret to create a sort of scavenger hunt for fans searching for it at the park.
While it took until the seventh inning of the first game for the drink special to sell out its roughly 100 orders, now the offering is bought up within the first hour or so, with a full queue forming in about 12-15 minutes. Yet Rogel and Murray decided early on that the door wouldn't be open every game, and would probably only operate during about 30 of the team's 81 home games. And when the door isn't open, the M's bolt a storage bin in front of the wall to preserve its location and identity.

A little over a month ago, Georgia Tech defensive lineman Tawfiq Thomas' made a viral social media post about his former team.
On Monday, the former Colorado Buffaloes transfer justified his remarks. Thomas is dressed in Georgia Tech game day gear from head to toe. Hat, jersey, uniform pants and cleats. However, there were additional elements that take this from a reasonable post to regrettable trolling.
The most noticeable is that Thomas is standing in front of a framed poster that shows the final score and stats from Georgia Tech's 27-20 victory over Colorado last season. This included is a countdown clock to the Week 1 match-up between the Buffs and Yellow Jackets. He tagged CU Football's official account and even made it Shedeur Sanders specific by including audio of Sanders' "Perfect Timing" song as well as corresponding lyrics.
The ploy by Thomas likely did not have the result he was hoping for. It might have been a friendly jab, but it was anything but effective. Perhaps during his time in Boulder, Thomas failed to grasp the built-in Sanders fanbase. Established Buffaloes fans might be less likely to engage a player who is no longer with the program. Sanders fans, on the other hand, are all too happy to check receipts and push back.
Following Thomas' original tweet from July 20, the critics showed up in droves. Some of the comments were of the 'act like a professional' variety, while others were much more direct and insulting. Many of the keyboard warriors that patrol social media in an effort to protect Deion Sanders and the Buffs wasted no time responding. Colorado alum Matt McChesney also addressed the post on his Zero2Sixty podcast.

Michigan sophomore quarterback Bryce Underwood, running back Jordan Marshall, safety Rod Moore and defensive tackle Trey Pierce are the Wolverines captains this season after a vote by the team.
Underwood, who started last year as a freshman, is the Wolverines' first sophomore to be voted captain, and Marshall the first junior — both represent the offense. Moore is a three-time captain, and this is the first time Pierce has been voted captain.
The captains were announced Monday night. Michigan is in preseason camp preparing for the season which opens Sept. 5 against Western Michigan.
Head coach Kyle Whittingham also announced the Leadership Council, which also was voted on by the players. The team captains and these 12 players are on the leadership council: safety Nico Andrighetto, cornerback Zeke Berry, linebacker Troy Bowles, defensive ends Cam Brandt and John Henry Daley, receivers Andrew Marsh and J.J. Buchanan, defensive tackle Enow Etta and offensive linemen Blake Frazier, Jake Guarnera and Andrew Sprague, and cornerback Jyaire Hill.

For the last five years, I have cleared my schedule for every A'ja Wilson versus Breanna Stewart matchup — and there have been many. They are the two defining players of this WNBA generation, with a combined six MVPs and six **** les between them, and the faces of USA Basketball. They relish the competition of playing against the best at their position and raise their levels when they meet.
The Wilson-Stewart era is far from over. Wilson is on pace to be MVP yet again, while Stewart is putting together yet another All-WNBA season. Although the Las Vegas Aces sit higher in the standings, the New York Liberty have mostly gotten the best of them this season, including in the Commissioner's Cup final. A playoff series between them (a fifth matchup in seven seasons) would be high-level theater.
It would be near-impossible for another individual rivalry to reach those heights — again, look at all the hardware the two have in their trophy cases — but it was fun to get a look at the future during the aptly-named rivals week. Paige Bueckers and Caitlin Clark have a lot more winning to do to reach the Wilson-Stewart level, but they do have the right ingredients in place. They're elite players at essentially the same position who came up together through USA Basketball; like Stewart and Wilson, they each were the MVP at a U-19 World Cup. They both had outstanding college careers, and now they are trying to compete for **** les in the WNBA.
Bueckers and Clark have met only three times in the pros, and the first was mostly forgettable. The last two, however, have been worth the wait. The third quarter of Friday's game between Dallas and Indiana was a true highlight, as these two unselfish guards kept trying to one-up the other as bucket-getters. Six of their baskets were immediately followed by points from the other, including a very fun stretch in which Clark hit a layup, Bueckers followed with a pull-up 3, Clark responded with a pull-up jumper and Bueckers hit another shot in the midrange. Not a lot of passing from the nominal point guards, but the budding seeds of a longer rivalry.
Ideally, the Wings and Fever will meet in the playoffs (with Azzi Fudd and Jessica Shepard both healthy by that point) and give this matchup the stakes it deserves. For now, it's an enjoyable undercard to the Wilson-Stewart rivalry.

Giannis Konstantelias' move from PAOK to Borussia Dortmund is nearing completion for a reported €26 million plus up to €6 million in bonuses, with the deal also including a 15 per cent sell-on clause for the Greek side.
At the same time, according to reports from Greece, PAOK are working on signing two young players from Borussia Dortmund, namely Christos Kostoglou and Samuele Inácio.
As reported by sport24.gr, PAOK are in advanced talks over a move for 17-year-old Kostoglou. The youngster, who plays for BVB's U19 side, has one year left on his contract, but Dortmund are said to be willing to let him leave on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, PAOK are aiming to sign 18-year-old Inácio on loan, according to Greek outlet Gazzetta.
Whether Dortmund would agree to this is highly doubtful, though. The Italy international broke into the first team towards the end of last season and is part of the club's plans for the coming campaign.

There's a lot to be excited about as Texas football prepares to kick off the 2026 regular season in the coming weeks. That includes returning starting quarterback Arch Manning, a (once again) revamped and improved wide receiver room, a spicier than ever running back core, and more, such as a soon-to-be-dominant defensive line.
Texas Athletics recognizes as much. That's in part why the program's social media crew has invested the effort to put together yet another epic hype video to get fans excited as the season's first kickoff steadily approaches. After all, it's not every day that we find a way to remix a track by the unforgettable Rihanna and Longhorns football. To be more precise, the hype video features shots throughout Memorial Stadium set to the remixed version of "Where Have You Been," which is surely a formula that would agree with most Texas fans' liking these days.
The time is nearly upon us, folks.
Or, as the hype video's caption notes, "3 weeks away."

Serie A side Roma have been pushing for the signature of Porto's Rodrigo Mora. While there were some issues in the deal across the week, the move is back on track.
La Gazzetta dello Sport offer background into the deal, stating that Roma's first offer was initially accepted by Porto. Gian Piero Gasperini's side put forward €8 million loan with a €42 million option to buy, subject to two conditions – Champions League qualification and a 60% participation for Mora.
Soon, Porto changed their mind and wanted a higher fee upfront and a better guarantee of the permanent deal. This demand left Roma rattled but they have now come back to the table again.
A counter-offer arrived after deliberation from the Friedkins. Roma have now offered €25 million for the permanent purchase plus a 50% interest in the future resale, which can be removed if Roma pay an additional €20 million.
This was mainly because Jorge Mendes organised a meeting between the parties today. Now, Mora's family and entourage is pushing for a move to Roma and the Portuguese side could give the green light to the move later today.

This time, the Hoffenheim fans themselves demanded more of a voice in club affairs. That definitely merited extensive coverage. In point of fact, such protest actions constituted the very definition of what can and should be newsworthy on the Bundesliga beat. Some disagreed. The chronicler makes no apologies. Dietmar Hopp promised to turn this project over to the burgeoning fan-base that's been supporting it for the past two decades. Potentially reneging on that promise counts as a story. Period.
When it comes to the actual football produced by these Badeners, all coverage remains even-handed. TSG sporting director Andreas Schicker did a fabulous job reducing the roster last summer. The team supplied many memorable performances. Ahead of this season – were it not for the collapsed Fisnik Asllani transfer – Schicker would have produced nearly €100m in summer sales. The author concedes that such skillful administrating deserves praise as it would have theoretically negated the need for another Dietmar Hopp cash infusion.
Alas, we'll likely be reading about more direct benefactor financing next year.
From a straight footballing perspective, things are once again looking up for the 2026/27 Europa League participants. Schicker again put together a stellar offseason, cutting up transfer bait, and recruiting plenty of young promising talent. Dammit. The author literally can't get through the next section quickly enough. There's far too much to report. At least the sheer scale of the activity gives us an excuse to dispense with the rhetoric. Suffice to say that the squad planning and administrative enforcement was simply top-notch. Merely consider yourselves forewarned that this grouchy writer can only contain his disdain to a limited extent.
