A widow who stays as beneficiary on her late husband's IRA avoids roughly $172,000 in forced taxable income over four years before his RMD clock starts.
Filing single cuts her Medicare IRMAA threshold in half to $109,000, so a $40,650 RMD alone can trigger $974 in extra annual Part B premiums.
Contributing to or missing a required distribution from the inherited IRA permanently strips away the deferral option the IRS otherwise allows surviving spouses.
Building a portfolio and living off one are two completely different skills, and almost ****** ody teaches the second. This problem is what The Definitive Guide to Retirement Income helps, and it is free today. Read more here. (Sponsor)
Consider a combined case. A 74-year-old widow's husband dies this year at 68, and she's the sole beneficiary of his $1 million traditional IRA. The custodian's spousal claim form offers to move the money into an IRA in her own name, and that looks like the tidy choice.

Hayden Panettiere's daughter, Kaya, made a rare court appearance amid the legal dispute over her mother's estate.
The 11-year-old attended the Los Angeles Superior Court hearing virtually on Oct. 8 alongside her father, Wladimir Klitschko, Panettiere's former fiancé, according to The **** ociated Press and People. Kaya reportedly briefly appeared on camera to confirm her identity to the judge.
She was "soft-spoken and composed," People reported. The proceedings centered on Klitschko's request for "immediate" guardianship of Panettiere's estate on behalf of Kaya, the sole beneficiary, alleging "non-family members" have been misappropriating the "Nashville" star's property.
The judge ultimately granted Klitschko temporary guardianship of the estate and set another court date for Dec. 7, noting Kaya would not need to be present.

LONDON/MILAN, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Traders have turned more discerning following a bond market rout, dumping the debt of European countries they deem the riskiest and rushing to safe-haven Germany.
The moves highlight a new hierarchy in the ever-evolving rankings of European debt.
France, once a beneficiary of a flight to safety, has been hit by selling. Previously shunned Italy and Britain are less exposed but still fragile, while Dutch and Swiss debt have rallied alongside Germany.
"We've seen bond vigilantes come out in force," said Man Group Chief Market Strategist Kristina Hooper.

Florida exempts a $600,000 IRA from Medicaid's $2,000 ***** et limit once the account enters payout status through RMDs or regular distributions.
Every IRA distribution counts as income against Florida's $2,982 monthly cap, and nearly all of it goes directly to the nursing home.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the child savings accounts known as Trump Accounts will complement Social Security, improving retirement security for the youngest Americans.
"Depending on which age a beneficiary decides to take Social Security — 62, 65, 70 — on the other side of the ledger, if they have maintained their Trump accounts into retirement age, then they will also have a substantial nest egg that they can grow upon for their retirement needs," Bessent said at an event on Monday, highlighting the Trump Accounts in Harrisburg, Pa.
As of Oct. 1, the Treasury Department shifted the accounts from a voluntary index-fund investment to automatic enrollment to ensure broader access to the child savings accounts.

Nearly 70 million children under 18 with a valid Social Security number now have Trump accounts established in their names. That's up from 7 million signups last week. It's now up to parents and guardians to claim their child's account.

On September 14, during the episode of Mad Money, Jim Cramer said CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD) is emerging as a beneficiary of growing concerns over the cybersecurity risks created by artificial intelligence, as he said:
Over the weekend, the co-founder and CEO of Anthropic published an essay where he pushed for a slowdown among the frontier AI labs in order to handle newfound security concerns. In response to that, the cybersecurity cohort just went crazy because there are the companies that can prevent AI agents from randomly hacking into networks all over the world, and it's the cybersecurity companies. Take CrowdStrike, which shot up nearly 14% today, leading the S&P 500, something I feel great about, of course, because we own it big for the Charitable Trust. These guys have been adamant that AI represented a great opportunity for their business, and now Wall Street's finally gotten the memo.
CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.'s (NASDAQ:CRWD) second-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue increased 26% year over year to $1.47 billion, while ending annual recurring revenue rose 25% to $5.84 billion. Net new ARR reached a record $332.8 million, and free cash flow was $377.4 million. The company also raised its full-year fiscal 2027 net new ARR growth outlook to 34% at the midpoint, up 630 basis points. CEO George Kurtz said the company believes securing AI is its "largest market opportunity in our history."
Kurtz said on September 14 that AI-driven threats are already operating at machine speed, describing the emerging threat as autonomous campaigns rather than individual hackers. He identified endpoints, cloud workloads and SaaS as key battlegrounds and said "enforcement at machine speed" is needed to stop AI agents in motion. CrowdStrike has responded by expanding into AI-agent, model and infrastructure protection, including Continuous Identity for AI Agents and Falcon AI Detection and Response.
CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.'s (NASDAQ:CRWD) valuation leaves little room for a meaningful slowdown in growth. Yahoo Finance currently shows a forward P/E of approximately 188.7 times and a price-to-sales ratio of roughly 44.6 times. Those multiples leave little room for a material slowdown in ARR growth, weaker adoption of newer products, or greater competitive pressure. The company also remains much less profitable on a GAAP basis than its adjusted results suggest. The company reported a $33.2 million GAAP operating loss in the latest quarter against $371.6 million of non-GAAP operating income, while stock-based compensation and related employer payroll taxes totaled $399 million.

Jim Cramer sees Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) as a major beneficiary of the disruption surrounding the Strait of Hormuz, as he said during the September 8 episode of Mad Money:
When I wrote How to Make Money in Any Market… I didn't know that Enterprise Products Partners was going to be the, maybe the single biggest pipeline winner in this country thanks to the war. I didn't see that war coming. The CEO of Enterprise, Jim Teague, has raised awareness for the company's profit opportunity because of the Hormuz closing. The margins of some of its liquids, like ethane to ethylene, ethylene to polyethylene, have soared. As Teague says, the Houston Ship Channel is now just as important as the Strait of Hormuz. Now, there's an endorsement. Stock yields 5.8%.
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) reported record second-quarter adjusted EBITDA of $2.8 billion, up 17% year over year, while operational distributable cash flow reached a record $2.3 billion, up 21%. Moreover, pipeline volumes reached a record 14.7 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, up 8%, while marine-terminal volumes increased 33% to 2.8 million barrels per day. Co-Chief Executive Officer James Teague said:
Volumes at our marine terminals have returned to normal levels in June and July after the initial rush to backfill volumes affected by hostilities in the Middle East in April and May.
In July, Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) declared a quarterly distribution of $0.56 per unit, or $2.24 annualized, a 2.8% increase from a year earlier. At EPD's September 8 closing price of $38.83, that equates to a yield of approximately 5.8%. The company has increased its distribution for 27 consecutive years. The company's latest investor materials show $6.5 billion of major capital projects under construction. It expects 2026 organic growth capital spending, net of ***** et-sale proceeds, of $2.9 billion to $3.4 billion. The company retained $1.1 billion of DCF for internally funded growth capital expenditures and buybacks.

Deciding whether to take a $400,000 lump sum or monthly pension benefit of $2,000 requires calculating the relative value of each option. Generally speaking, the sooner you can receive the lump sum, the more value it will have since you can invest it over a longer period. The monthly payment option may be more valuable if you expect to live a long time after you start receiving benefits. Other factors include inflation, your additional sources of income and how prudently you can manage a large sum of money. A major financial decision like choosing between a lump sum or monthly payout can benefit from the ******* istance of a financial advisor.
Sometimes companies with pension plans offer current and future retirees the option of receiving a large one-time payment instead of a series of smaller payments usually administered on a monthly basis. These buyouts represent a way for companies to manage their risk while also offering some potential advantages to retirees.
Deciding whether or not to accept a lump sum offer involves evaluating a number of factors. Some of these – such as the dollar amount of the lump sum or the monthly benefit – are clearly specified up front. For other key variables, such as the investment returns that can be expected or future inflation, the ******* sment has to rely on educated guesses about future developments.
Two of the most critical variables are when the lump sum will be paid and how long the employee expects to live. Generally speaking, the sooner the lump sum will be paid, the more value that choice ******* umes. Similarly, the longer the beneficiary expects to live, the more valuable the stream of payments is.
Some of the factors that need to be ******* sed include the beneficiary's current health, the age at which their parents died and the typical lifespan that can be expected by someone of their age and gender.

A $400,000 inherited IRA can become much more expensive if you get the withdrawal timing wrong. Many non-spouse beneficiaries must empty the account within 10 years, and some also have annual RMDs. Delaying distributions could concentrate more taxable income into later years and potentially push more of your money into higher tax brackets.
For many non-spouse beneficiaries, an inherited IRA must be emptied by December 31 of the year containing the 10th1 anniversary of the original owner's death. Certain beneficiaries qualify for different rules.
The 10-year deadline may not be the only requirement. If the original owner died on or after their required beginning date, a non-spouse beneficiary subject to the 10-year rule generally must also take annual RMDs during the 10-year period.
Missing a required distribution can trigger an excise tax of up to 25% of the amount not withdrawn. This makes it important to know whether annual withdrawals apply instead of ****** uming you can leave the entire account untouched until year 10.
Traditional inherited IRA distributions are generally taxed as ordinary income. Leaving a large amount until the final years could force you to withdraw more at once, potentially pushing more of the $400,000 into higher tax brackets.

Andrew Symonds once produced one of the rarest scoring feats in Test cricket, collecting eight runs from a single delivery during Australia's Test against New Zealand at the Gabba in Brisbane in 2008-09.
The bizarre sequence involved an all-run four followed by four overthrows, with New Zealand fast bowler Iain O'Brien at the centre of the drama. There was an added twist to the incident, as O'Brien had seen Symonds dropped off the previous delivery before eventually dismissing him just two ****** later.
Australia were 124 for four in the 46th over after Ricky Ponting had decided to bat in Brisbane.
O'Brien opened the over with a bouncer, which Symonds ducked under. The bowler went short again with his next delivery, and this time Symonds pulled the ball towards mid-wicket.
However, Aaron Redmond put down the chance.
O'Brien responded as fast bowlers often do after a missed opportunity, sending down another short delivery. This time, the ball was outside off-stump and Symonds attacked it ferociously with a pull.
The enormous Gabba outfield slowed the ball down, but Symonds and Michael Clarke had already completed three runs by the time Redmond got to it.
The pair then decided to push for another run, hoping to take advantage of the throw.
That decision produced chaos.
New Zealand wicketkeeper Brendon McCullum moved across to collect the return. He gathered the ball, turned and threw it towards the stumps, only to discover that Symonds had already made his ground.
There was another problem for New Zealand. ****** ody was positioned behind the wicketkeeper to stop the throw.
The ball therefore continued all the way to the boundary. Symonds had effectively turned a pull shot into an extraordinary eight-run haul.
Umpire Rudi Koertzen then signalled the total by raising eight fingers, meaning eight runs were added to Australia's score and Symonds' tally.
It was two more than the figure commonly described as the maximum possible from a single delivery and even one more than the total India received in a penalty-run incident against Bangladesh at Chattogram.
Symonds' eight-run delivery was only the fourth known instance of eight runs being scored from a single ball in Test cricket at that point.
The first recorded example came in Melbourne during the 1928-29 series, which was also the final Test of Don Bradman's first series.
England's Patsy Hendren scored eight after completing four runs and then benefiting from four overthrows off Australian debutant Percy Hornibrook.
Another unusual eight-run delivery occurred in Melbourne during the 1980-81 season.
New Zealand's John Wright was the beneficiary on that occasion. He ran four before four overthrows followed after Rod Marsh collected the fielder's return and threw the ball towards the stumps. The throw escaped and Wright picked up the additional runs off Lenny Pascoe's delivery.

JEPQ, DGRW, and JAAA together can convert a $250,000 life insurance lump sum into monthly deposits that replicate a working spouse's paycheck.
A $100,000 JEPQ allocation buys roughly 1,695 shares at $59, generating $8.46 annualized per share in monthly income with 18% yearly price gains.
JAAA's AAA-rated CLO holdings pay $2.70 per share annually with near-zero volatility, acting as the stable floor when equity markets drop.

Six weeks ago, the insurance company wired $250,000 into your checking account, and there it sits, earning almost nothing while you try to remember what day it is. That is fine. Life insurance death benefits are generally income-tax-free to the beneficiary, and no rule says grieving people have to make portfolio decisions on a schedule. When you are ready, though, three funds can turn that lump sum into a monthly deposit that behaves a lot like the paycheck your spouse used to bring home: JPMorgan Nasdaq Equity Premium Income ETF (NASDAQ:JEPQ), WisdomTree U.S. Quality Dividend Growth Fund (NASDAQ:DGRW), and Janus Henderson AAA CLO ETF (NYSEARCA:JAAA).

Andvari **** ociates, an investment management firm, released its second-quarter 2026 investor letter. The letter can be downloaded here. Andvari's portfolio has performed strongly in the quarter, highlighted by Constellation Software's 19.9% revenue growth and its plans to spend on acquisitions in 2026. The company is also focusing on AI tools to enhance productivity and customer relationships. However, the AI sector is experiencing extreme hype, leading to a growing disconnect between valuations and future cash flows. Predictions suggest the AI investment phase may decline in 1-3 years, despite current high demand for AI infrastructure, which is expected to attract significant competition. Concerns about overbuilding and risky financial behaviors, like Oracle's downgraded credit rating amid a $90-$95 billion AI cloud investment, reflect potential pitfalls. Andvari has minimized exposure to this sector, aiming to protect and grow **** ets through disciplined investments in stable industries despite recent underperformance during the AI boom. Also, check the fund's top five holdings to see its best picks in 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Andvari **** ociates highlighted Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM). Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM) is a building materials company that supplies aggregates and heavy-side building materials to the construction industry. On September 02, 2026, Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM) closed at $517.07 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $36.72 billion. Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM) posted a one‑month return of ‑3.94%, while its shares lost 16.46% over the past 52 weeks.
Andvari **** ociates stated the following regarding Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"All this said, Andvari does have some exposure to the AI theme. Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM) one of the largest aggregates companies in the U.S., is also a minor beneficiary of the AI theme given robust construction activity in data centers and power generation. Texas Instruments and Martin Marietta might be getting a nice temporary **** p in profits and revenues from helping build out AI infrastructure, but AI and data center-related revenues are by no means the majority of revenues for either of these two companies."
Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM) is not on our list of the 40 Most Popular Stocks Among Hedge Funds. As per our database, 67 hedge fund portfolios held Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM) at the end of the second quarter, which was 65 in the previous quarter. While we acknowledge the potential of Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM) as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. If you're looking for an extremely undervalued AI stock that also stands to benefit significantly from Trump-era tariffs and the onshoring trend, see our free report

Sandisk (NASDAQ: SNDK) stock has more than quintupled year to date, but despite those gains, its rally still doesn't appear to be over. The long-term tailwinds in the memory market just accelerated, and Sandisk is one of the best-positioned companies in the industry.
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
Investors have greatly underestimated the durability of the current memory chip boom, even the most bullish ones. Samsung (OTC: SSNLF) recently reported that three large customers had signed deals locking up 70% of its memory chip capacity through 2031: Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), and Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL).
Those deals are a big catalyst for the entire memory sector, and while Samsung is the immediate beneficiary, Sandisk may emerge as the bigger winner. That's because Sandisk has been growing sales at a faster rate than Samsung, thanks to its NAND flash memory storage chips.
Samsung reported 130% year-over-year revenue growth in the second quarter, while Sandisk delivered 372% year-over-year revenue growth. Sandisk told investors in its 2026 Investor Day that it, too, is securing multiyear deals with its top customers. The Samsung news has further limited the volume of memory chips that will be available for future customers, which will make it easier for Sandisk to command higher prices and sign more attractive multiyear deals.

The SECURE Act forces most non-spouse inherited IRA beneficiaries to fully empty the account within 10 years, with no life-expectancy stretch available.
Waiting until year 10 to withdraw a full inherited IRA balance stacks ordinary income on top of salary, pushing marginal rates to 32%.
Spreading withdrawals across all 10 years to fill the 22% and 24% brackets avoids the single-year income spike that triggers higher rates.

An inherited IRA is a retirement account passed to a beneficiary after the original owner dies. When the beneficiary is an adult child, the rules governing how quickly the money must be withdrawn have changed significantly under the SECURE Act. The scenario in the headline- a son who inherited a $220,000 IRA at age 60, deferred withdrawals, and then faced a forced distribution in year 10 that landed him in the 32% federal bracket- sits on a specific IRS rule that many beneficiaries misread.

Nvidia (NVDA) reported blockbuster second-quarter fiscal 2027 results on Aug. 26, led by a solid surge in data-center revenue, which climbed by a whopping 117% year-over-year (YOY) to $89 billion. With the data-center business making up more than 90% of its top line, Nvidia has capitalized on the fact that more companies need large GPU clusters.
While the semiconductor industry leader faces "threats" that its near-monopoly on advanced artificial intelligence (AI) chips may be coming to an end, Nvidia remains the primary beneficiary of the AI boom. The company is also reportedly set to buy open-source AI platform Hugging Face for $12.9 billion, aligning with CEO Jensen Huang's strategy of building the AI world on the American stack.

Bernstein expects Bitcoin (COIN:BTCUSD) to reach $300,000 by the end of 2029, with ***** yst Gautam Chhugani identifying the cryptocurrency as a major potential beneficiary of what he describes as the debasement trade.
The forecast ***** umes Bitcoin continues to broadly follow its historical four-year market cycle, with Bernstein also expecting the cryptocurrency to recover to a new record high of $150,000 by the middle of 2027.
"Following our price-to-marginal cost framework, we would expect the next market peak to be $300K by CY2029E and the market recovering to new all-time high of $150,000 by mid-2027E," Chhugani wrote in a note to clients.
Bernstein's longer-term Bitcoin outlook is partly based on its view that the four-decade period of declining interest rates has come to an end.
Governments are consequently facing higher debt-servicing costs at a time when sovereign debt levels have reached unprecedented levels, creating additional pressure on public finances.

Runners of the 44th Annual Hood to Coast relay race descended on Seaside beach early Saturday morning.
Dubbed the "Mother of all Relays," the Providence Hood to Coast Relay finished on Seaside Beach starting early Saturday morning on Aug. 29.
The two-day race traditionally has about 20,000 runners and walkers participating in two events: Hood to Coast Relay and Portland to Coast Walk Relay. They start out on Friday and include participants from all 50 states and over 40 countries.
The Hood to Coast and Portland to Coast relay teams consist of 12 participants per team who take turns, running or walking. For the Hood to Coast runners, that's a total of 199 miles from Timberline Lodge in Mt. Hood to Seaside's beach. For those in the Portland to Coast Walk Relay, the race is a little shorter at 128 miles. Regardless of whether running or walking, the races are not intended to be a competition. They are more for a fun day of running or walking with friends and family members for a good cause.
Since 2014, the Providence Cancer Institute has been the primary beneficiary of Hood to Coast and Portland to Coast fundraising. Throughout that time, participants and volunteers have raised over $9.4 million with 100% of the funds used to support cancer research, treatment and support services in Oregon.

The latest filings covering President Donald Trump's **** ets show that securities held on his behalf included purchases of Mastercard (NYSE: MA) and Home Depot (NYSE: HD) in June. The Q2 filings also show Home Depot among the holdings of the Bill Gates Foundation Trust, while billionaire investor Bill Ackman's Pershing Square initiated a new position in Mastercard during the quarter.
The disclosure covers the president's transactions for June 2026 and was recently filed with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics. The disclosures showed over 1,000 separate transactions for the month.
In this article, we will **** yze Home Depot, which is gaining attention as bulls believe the stock is set to rebound amid a potential recovery in the housing market. HD is down about 17% over the past year.
HD is struggling because of slow housing activity amid high mortgage rates. But bulls say the housing market recovers sooner or later. Rates come down, the lock-in effect breaks, and the missing million transactions come back. Home Depot would be a major beneficiary of that upcoming trend.

Sustainable Growth Advisers (SGA), an investment management company, released its second-quarter 2026 investor letter for its "Global Growth Strategy." The letter can be downloaded here. The SGA Global Growth Portfolio returned 7.4% gross and 7.2% net, compared with 14.9% for the MSCI ACWI and 19.8% for the MSCI ACWI Growth Index. Momentum leadership and enthusiasm around AI infrastructure drove markets, with semiconductor, memory, and hardware stocks accounting for much of the gain. Although the portfolio owned AI beneficiaries, broader holdings lagged despite fundamentals, as median revenue and EPS growth reached 12% and 14% and more than 60% of the holdings beat expectations. SGA believes valuation compression reflects sentiment rather than weaker business quality, leaving the portfolio near its widest discount to the market since inception. The firm continues to favor durable compounders and expects 16% revenue growth and 20% earnings growth over three years. Also, please check the Fund's top five holdings to see its best picks for 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, SGA Global Growth Strategy highlighted Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) as a leading performance contributor. Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG), the parent company of Google, offers various platforms and services, including online search and advertising, cloud solutions, and artificial intelligence. On August 21, 2026, Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) closed at $341.75 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $4.2 trillion. Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) posted a one-month return of 4.65%, while its shares gained 63.39% over the past 52 weeks.
SGA Global Growth Strategy stated the following regarding Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) was a contributor to performance during the quarter supported by the continued narrative that the company is a well-positioned beneficiary of the AI investment cycle. Its full‑stack exposure spans infrastructure, foundational models, developer tools, and scaled consumer applications, providing broad participation in AI adoption. The stock benefited from the company's Q1 report which highlighted robust ongoing demand for the company's AI compute resources. We continue to view Alphabet as a high-quality, long-term compounder. Its leading global platforms, supported by strong network effects, direct user relationships, and scaled infrastructure, underpin durable pricing power and highly recurring revenue streams. The company remains well-positioned to benefit from sustained growth drivers, including the ongoing shift toward digital advertising and cloud computing, while its continued investment in AI and innovation supports its ability to reinforce its competitive position over time. We raised the position target, maintaining an above-average weight."

Guinness Global Innovators, an investment management company, recently released its Q2 2026 quarterly investor update for its "Guinness Global Innovators Fund". You can download the letter here. The Guinness Global Innovators Fund focuses on investing in global companies that benefit from innovation in technology, communication, globalization, and management strategies. In the second quarter of 2026, the Guinness Global Innovators Fund returned 13.8% in GBP, compared with 13.0% for the MSCI World Index and 13.1% for the IA Global sector average. Easing Middle East tensions, falling oil prices, and renewed enthusiasm for artificial intelligence helped reverse much of the caution seen earlier in the year, with investors rotating back toward growth stocks and AI infrastructure beneficiaries. The Fund benefited from its overweight position in the Information Technology sector, while its overweight position in Communication Services detracted. Avoiding weaker Utilities, Materials, and Energy also supported relative performance. Also, please check the Fund's top five holdings to see its best picks for 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Guinness Global Innovators Fund highlighted Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE). Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) a leading technology company, was sold during the quarter. On August 21, 2026, Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) closed at $275.30 per share. One-month return of Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) was 15.79% and its shares lost 24.20% over the past 52 weeks. Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) has a market capitalization of $109.43 billion.
Guinness Global Innovators Fund stated the following regarding Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"We initially bought Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) for its high-quality fundamentals: a subscription-based model that generated over 96% of revenue, profit margins approaching 30%, and a deep distribution network supported by strong brand equity. We believed these attributes would provide a durable competitive edge and saw potential for Adobe to expand into historically underpenetrated segments such as non-traditional enterprise users and individual creators to enable deeper monetisation. However, the shares have struggled recently due to the rapidly changing and increasingly competitive landscape in the creative design and data **** ytics markets. Initially, Adobe was seen as a beneficiary of the AI boom as its flagship tool Firefly quickly gained momentum, generated over 16 billion creative outputs and set adoption records. Despite this early promise, the picture has since been muddied by a disconnect between upbeat management commentary and the lack of a growth inflection that would be expected to follow." Initially, Adobe was seen as a beneficiary of the AI boom as its flagship tool Firefly quickly gained momentum, generated over 16 billion creative outputs and set adoption records. Despite this early promise, the picture has since been muddied by a disconnect between upbeat management commentary and the lack of a growth inflection that would be expected to follow." UTMA custodial accounts irrevocably transfer to the grandchild at age 21, giving them full legal control to spend the money however they choose.
A 529 keeps the owner in control indefinitely and allows penalty-free beneficiary reassignments or a $35,000 Roth IRA rollover under SECURE 2.0.
California and a few states let donors extend UTMA control to age 25, but once the account opens, the termination age in the paperwork is locked.
Are you ahead, or behind on retirement? SmartAsset's free tool can match you with a financial advisor in minutes to help you answer that today. Each advisor has been carefully vetted, and must act in your best interests. Don't waste another minute; learn more here.
A custodial account opened for a grandchild under the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act transfers to the beneficiary at the state's age of termination, typically 21. At that point, the new adult owner controls how the funds are spent, and the former custodian has no legal authority over the account. A 529 college savings plan operates differently, with the account owner retaining control indefinitely. The distinction between a UTMA custodial account and a 529 plan matters for grandparents evaluating how to structure gifts to minors.

If you died unexpectedly, the money in your bank accounts could be tied up in a probate court for quite a while. That can leave your loved ones in a tough spot, as they may need access to that money to cover funeral expenses and other costs.
That's why it's important to name a beneficiary (or multiple beneficiaries) for your bank accounts. It can make it faster and easier for your money to reach the right person after you die.
Depending on your situation, however, it may not be obvious who you should choose as your bank account beneficiaries. Here's what to consider, and how to set up your accounts properly.
Designating bank account beneficiaries has quite a few benefits and no significant drawbacks. Here are some of the main advantages.

In addition to child support, the judge ordered Anthony to take out a life insurance policy worth around $2.6 million with Alexandria named as the primary beneficiary ... and pay Alexandria's legal fees totaling more than $21K. Alexandria and Anthony share a son named Amir, born in 2023. The docs note Anthony admitted under oath that he never met his son in person and is not seeking to have any parenting time with the kid.
