CoinShares PLC (NASDAQ:CSHR) reported approximately $27.6 million in net inflows for the first half of 2026, yet U.S. GAAP revenue fell 35.7% to $51.4 million from $80 million. The September 14 results show that attracting **** ets and restoring earnings are different challenges.
Asset Management revenue declined to $40 million from $59.6 million. CoinShares PLC (NASDAQ:CSHR) attributed that decline primarily to lower average **** ets under management (AUM) following weaker digital-asset prices. Product mix and a targeted fee reduction add another hurdle: the revenue generated by each dollar of **** ets.
Positive flows during a difficult market provide evidence of demand. The physically backed product platform generated approximately $155.9 million in net inflows during the half. That suggests CoinShares PLC (NASDAQ:CSHR) can attract capital even when market performance reduces the value of existing holdings.
CoinShares PLC (NASDAQ:CSHR) reported that AUM recovered to approximately $6.93 billion by August 31 from $5.52 billion at June 30. Whether that recovery restores fee revenue depends on average **** ets and product mix.
A broader product mix also has strategic value. Lower-fee products may reach customers who would otherwise invest elsewhere. For CoinShares PLC (NASDAQ:CSHR), accepting a lower fee can make economic sense if it secures durable **** ets at an attractive cost.

Nuclear energy is experiencing a resurgence, according to many leading experts. "After decades of underinvestment, a convergence of generational technological breakthroughs, intensifying geopolitical competition, and the need for clean, dense, reliable power are positioning nuclear energy for a renaissance," ******* ysts from Goldman Sachs conclude.
"But the next nuclear age will look different from the last," the bank warns. "Innovations in fission like small modular reactors (SMRs) are shaping what the revival of traditional nuclear fission could look like."

Analysts from Morgan Stanley are in agreement. "Nuclear power generation is experiencing a revival driven by ambitious climate goals and technology demands," the firm observes. Like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley sees SMRs as one of the most promising solutions for scaling nuclear energy.
"Innovations in nuclear energy may also contribute to the investment growth picture, and a new U.S. law aimed at encouraging new nuclear technologies while cutting down red tape could help spur activity," Morgan Stanley says. "Small modular reactors (SMRs), for instance, are a fraction of the size of conventional reactors and can be factory ******* embled and transported, offering scalability and flexibility."

Gold bulls came roaring back in August.
Then sellers showed up right on cue and pushed prices back toward a level buyers were waiting for.
Gold (GC=F) has been trading around one of technical ******* ysis's simplest ideas: the halfway-back mark. After a big move, traders often wait for the price to retrace 50%, because that's where the risk-reward can suddenly get attractive — you can enter near the level and get out quickly if it doesn't hold.
Start with gold's big downswing this year.

Its electric and energy arm is guided to a multibillion-dollar loss, and the launches meant to justify that spending arrive just as a one-off tariff benefit disappears.
Ford Motor (F) has raised its 2026 adjusted EBIT guidance by a billion dollars at the midpoint, helped by stronger pricing and mix. The number a holder should watch is not in that raise; it sits in Model e, the arm carrying the electric vehicles and the new Ford Energy business.
Model e Lost $919 Million On $1 Billion Of Revenue
In the second quarter of 2026 Model e reported an EBIT loss of $919 million on revenue of $1 billion, roughly ninety cents of loss for every dollar the segment sold, inside a company with $188 billion of revenue over the past twelve months. Management calls that progress, and on its own terms it is: the loss was 31% better year over year, a third straight quarter of improvement, and the company expects Gen 1 EBIT to improve by roughly 40% year over year in 2026. The improvement came from structural cost cuts, right-sized Gen 1 EV volumes, and lower US incentives after regulatory relaxation, on declining revenue.

NEW YORK/LONDON, Aug 24 (Reuters) - MSCI's global equities gauge lost ground on Monday as weakness in technology stocks offset support from a dip in U.S. Treasury yields and falling oil prices.
Oil prices fell more than $2 per barrel as traders shrugged off U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's announcement of an expansion of secondary sanctions that Washington can impose on entities and countries that maintain business ties with Iran as the U.S. significantly ratchets up economic pressure on Tehran, nearly six months into their war.
Longer-dated U.S. Treasury yields fell following a report that the Treasury Department may tap its cash account to finance increased debt buybacks. In currencies, the Canadian dollar dipped due to a looming U.S. trade war.
While most of the S&P 500's industry sectors finished Monday's session with gains, heavyweight technology led losses among the benchmark's three declining sectors, with a 1.6% drop.

RGA Investment Advisors, an investment management company, has released its second-quarter 2026 investor letter. The letter can be downloaded here. The letter addresses the incorporation of AI into investment strategies and the dramatic changes in market dynamics that have emerged, specifically referencing the AI Bottleneck 40. This group of stocks is crucial to data center infrastructure. Initially, these stocks were closely aligned with the S&P, but by mid-2025, they began to diverge and outperform the index, exhibiting significant volatility, with realized volatility rates approaching 60%. The letter stresses the importance of continually monitoring these trends and adjusting the investment strategy. Also, check the fund's top five holdings to see its best picks in 2026.
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, RGA Investment Advisors highlighted Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE). Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) is a multinational technology company that offers creative, digital media, and document management products. On August 24, 2026, Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) closed at $276.27 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $109.82 billion. Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) posted a one‑month return of 10.87%, while its shares lost 22.16% over the past 52 weeks.
RGA Investment Advisors stated the following regarding Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"We had watched and studied Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) with admiration for many years following their evolution from selling licensed software to subscription software. Adobe became the template by which numerous other software companies pivoted to SaaS and the rest, as they say, is history. Or so we all thought. Over the past several years, Adobe's shares have dropped dramatically. At first, the concern was competition from Figma and Canva. Then Adobe became Exhibit 1 in the "AI losers basket." We think Adobe is far more resilient than fears suggest. Similar to GitLab, there is seat-based pricing risk; however, in many industries, Adobe's offerings are irreplaceable, even with AI. Moreover, Adobe is in a great position to become the layer on top of which key AI workflows are built. Data and context are critical to these workflows, and Adobe has considerable advantages in both. We acknowledge some of the risks Adobe faces, but at a P/E of sub-10x and a FCF yield north of 10%, the market is pricing the stock as a melting ice cube while growth is still right around 10%. The company is using its healthy balance sheet and robust free cash flow to repurchase shares at a healthy clip. We think this is a potent setup as the company proves its resilience for the AI era."

On August 13, 2026, YETI Holdings (NYSE:YETI) reported second-quarter fiscal 2026 results that showed broad-based top-line expansion and operational progress. Sales climbed 9% year over year to roughly $484 million, with growth spread across every category, channel and region the company reports. CEO Matthew Reintjes told investors the quarter reinforced the company's structural breadth and scalability, even as YETI navigates an uneven consumer backdrop and ongoing macro uncertainty.
Coolers & Equipment led the way, growing 16% to $232 million as newer lines like the Daytrip insulated bags and Camino totes gained traction alongside cases and storage. Management pointed to smaller hard coolers such as the Roadie 15 and the newly launched Roadie 8 as early bright spots, evidence that YETI's product platforms extend well beyond its original hard cooler business. International sales jumped 19% to $93 million, with Europe, Australia and ******* an all posting strong growth. ******* an, in its first full year as a direct business, delivered significant growth in the quarter, and YETI expects to be live in 11 international markets by the end of 2026, up from four at the same time last year. Wholesale sales rose 10% to $218 million, and tracked channel inventory ended the quarter lower, a sign management reads as healthy, demand-driven sell-through rather than a pullback.
Gross margin expanded 170 basis points to 59.5%, with 110 basis points of that coming from pricing discipline and product cost management rather than one-time items. On the back of that performance, YETI raised its full-year gross margin expectation to 57.5%–58.0% (and raised its full-year adjusted EPS guidance range to $2.94–$3.00, up from $2.83–$2.89), while continuing a buyback program that has repurchased more than $600 million in stock since 2024.
Gross margin expansion was offset by operating expense growth during the period. Adjusted SG&A grew 19% to $220 million and deleveraged 410 basis points to 45.4% of sales, driven largely by the brand campaign shifting into the second quarter from the fourth quarter of last year, a higher short-term incentive compensation accrual, and rising distribution and fulfillment costs. That expense growth outpaced the gross margin gains, and adjusted operating income actually fell 7% to $68 million, while adjusted net income dropped 8% to $51 million. Cash on the balance sheet shrank sharply, ending the quarter at approximately $60 million versus $270 million a year earlier, while total debt climbed to $102 million from $76 million.

Depending on who you ask, indexed universal life (IUL) insurance is either a powerful wealth-building strategy or an overly complicated insurance product that promises more than it delivers. However, the truth could lie somewhere in the middle.
An IUL is first and foremost a life insurance policy. Like other permanent life insurance products, it can provide lifelong coverage and build cash value over time. But what makes it different is how that cash value grows. Instead of earning a fixed interest rate, it's tied to the performance of a stock market index, such as the S&P 500.
Here's how indexed universal life insurance works, who it may be a good fit for, and what to know before buying a policy.
Indexed universal life insurance is a type of permanent life insurance that combines a death benefit with a cash value account. As long as the policy stays in force, your beneficiaries receive a death benefit when you die, and part of the premiums you pay has the potential to grow inside the policy over time.

Tata Consultancy Services, India's largest private employer, cut 12,200 middle and senior managers last year. It also trained 114,000 employees in AI. Both happened while the company posted record revenue of more than $30 billion.
TCS wasn't alone. Across India's five biggest IT services firms, every company earned more in fiscal year 2026 while employing fewer people. The combined workforce shrank by 7,389, according to Moneycontrol. The previous year, those same employers had added 12,718 jobs.
India's outsourcing industry employs nearly six million people and contributes an estimated 12% of the country's GDP. Economists have begun warning that AI could eliminate white-collar jobs faster than past waves of automation, and the sector where the entire business model depends on billing clients for human hours is where that's already happening.
The cuts at TCS targeted experienced staff in roles "where redeployment and reskilling have not been feasible," according to The Federal. Infosys, the country's second-largest IT services firm, lost 8,440 workers in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026 alone, according to Moneycontrol, even as the company reported a 4.2% revenue increase in constant currency for fiscal year 2025.
AI services are filling the gap. Infosys CEO Salil Parekh told **** ysts that AI work accounted for 8.2% of total revenue by the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, growing at a double-digit pace. Srini Pallia, CEO of Wipro, another of India's top five IT firms, said in the company's second-quarter fiscal year 2026 earnings call that "AI is no longer experimental" and now "central to our clients' strategies."

You know that saying, "never be the first to arrive at a party or the last to go home and never, never be both."
We don't think OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has ever heard that.
Chief Revenue Officer Denise Dresser, who has been with OpenAI for only eight months, this week announced on LinkedIn that she was leaving the company to "pursue other opportunities."
Just a few months ago, in April, Dresser told CNBC regarding OpenAI's enterprise customers,:"I just have never seen this level of conviction spread so quickly and consistently within the industries."

VTBIX quietly anchors most Vanguard 401(k) bond allocations, bundling thousands of investment-grade U.S. bonds into one near-zero-cost institutional fund.
BND, VTBIX's tradeable ETF twin, lost 1.4% on price over five years but has gained over 14% over ten.
VTBIX holds no junk bonds, no TIPS, and no emerging-market debt, making it a poor fit for yield-seekers or inflation hedgers.

Alvopetro Energy Ltd (TSX-V:ALV, OTC:ALVOF, FRA:A6Y0) earlier this week reported another strong quarterly performance, with higher production, stronger commodity prices and continued progress at its flagship Murucututu natural gas project in Brazil supporting revenue and cash flow growth.
Speaking with Proactive, chief executive Corey Ruttan said average sales volumes increased 26% year over year to 3,067 barrels of oil equivalent per day. He added that the company's realized natural gas price approached US$11 per MCF during the quarter, while condensate and oil prices also strengthened significantly compared with the same period last year.
Ruttan said the combination of higher production and improved pricing generated revenue of just over US$19 million and funds flow from operations of US$14.1 million. He also highlighted an operating netback of more than US$59 per boe and an 86% netback profit margin, which he said demonstrated the benefits of the company's low-cost operations and Brazil's favourable royalty regime.
Operationally, the company continues to advance development at its wholly owned Murucututu project. Ruttan said the first well drilled during 2026 is ready to begin production, while the second well is currently being drilled and will be followed immediately by another well as part of an accelerated drilling programme.
The company has also brought forward capital spending originally planned for 2027 into 2026 to maintain drilling continuity and capture operational efficiencies. Alongside drilling activity, Alvopetro is expanding production facilities by approximately four times to accommodate future production growth. Upgrades to the gas processing facility are also expected to be completed by the end of September, allowing increased gas production ahead of the larger infrastructure expansion later in the year.
