Hey gang! It's your ol' pal Jay. I woke up in a cold sweat after a nightmare about a failed audition from like 20 years ago, so I decided to spread that anxiety 'round the world! See, back in them days, you couldn't just send a self-tape all willy nilly. You had to physically bike on down to some building in a shady part of town, wipe the sweat from your brow, and perform for a little panel of directors and producers.
I don't want to brag, but I got a callback for a Taco Bell commercial. The director asked me to deliver this one line in different ways but still convey that this imaginary burrito was yummy. After a few runs of not getting it right, he seemed to be getting a little perturbed. I rifled off a couple more nervous ones until he stopped me and said, "No. You have to pretend that you're thoroughly enjoying the food. You know… Like an actor."
The room went silent as I shrunk to microscopic proportions. I didn't get the part obviously, but I had a good run back then! Booked some commercials for KFC, Pepsi, Nabob Coffee, and Tetley Tea, so… Ya. I haven't acted in a long time, but don't worry. I still take harsh criticisms on an almost daily basis! If you love cringey audition stories like that, just wait till you see these ones from A-listers. Cringey stuff here, folks. Enjoy.

We were blown away by the bright blue Louis Vuitton tailored look she wore in the front row of the Spring 2027 show, and I was hopeful it would signal a run of bolder fashion choices. But seeing Emma back on the red carpet in this fresh-off-the-runway Louis Vuitton Spring 2027 slip dress, I feel like we're right back where we started.
My main issue is the top half of the dress. The draped neckline and contrasting panel feel awkward, while the pale grey and beige tones wash her out, especially after seeing how well she wore that vivid blue in Paris.
Looking at the runway, I would have much preferred the original yellow version. We already know how good Emma looks in yellow. Her 2014 Atelier Versace dress, 2026 Golden Globes look, Bugonia London premiere look and that iconic La La Land dress are all reminders of how well the colour works for her.

The Monday night show underscored that a year into his creative revival, Blazy has made the house feel newly unpredictable.

Paris Hilton turned the streets of Paris into her personal runway during Paris Fashion Week. The socialite was racing against the clock as she made her way to the Elie Saab show, documenting the chaotic journey on Instagram. Even with traffic working against her, Hilton made sure she arrived in true fashion-week style in a black sheer dress.
For the outing, Paris Hilton wore a dramatic black Elie Saab creation covered in intricate lace and floral detailing. The floor-length gown featured a high neckline, long sleeves, and a figure-hugging silhouette. Its extensive sheer sections made it anything but conservative.
Black floral appliqués were strategically scattered across the transparent fabric. This created an elaborate pattern from the neckline all the way down the skirt. The see-through material revealed the black undergarments beneath, while the fitted construction emphasized Hilton's figure. Toward the bottom, layers of lace and textured detailing gave the gown a romantic and dramatic finish.
Getting the glamorous dress to the show proved to be an adventure of its own. Hilton revealed in the video that traffic meant she had to abandon her ride and make her way through the Paris streets on foot. At one point, she could be seen hurrying along the sidewalk as her long sheer gown trailed behind her.
Making the situation even more impressive, Hilton wrote that she was "running in 6 inch heels" to reach the Elie Saab show. She paired the gown with towering black platform heels and a quilted black Chanel handbag with a gold chain strap. Oversized black sunglasses and a voluminous blonde updo, with loose face-framing pieces, completed the look.

The Chanel ambassador's Oscars look remains one of my favourite menswear moments of the year, but this? This was highly disappointing.
I say that fully aware that the New York Film Festival has a more relaxed dress code than Cannes, Venice, London or even Toronto. The individual elements are here, but nothing is working together for me.
I can see the hybrid idea he was going for: part old-Hollywood leading man with the striped shirt, tie and waistcoat, and part relaxed, contemporary dressing with the wide-leg tan trousers and rolled-up sleeves. But those two ideas never quite meet in the middle.

Chris Brown is getting another shot at the eight-figure verdict handed down against him in the dog-mauling case brought by his former housekeeper, but only if she refuses to accept less money.
According to legal documents obtained by Complex, Los Angeles judge Huey P. Cotton ruled that Brown and his company Black Pyramid LLC are entitled to a new trial limited to damages for Maria Avila, unless Avila consents to having her award reduced to $9.5 million. Judge Cotton denied all of Brown's other motions in the filing. Avila was originally awarded $12.9 million by a jury.
Cotton found the jury's $12.9 million figure excessive, pointing to insufficient evidence of permanent nerve damage and of the dollar value the panel attached to Avila's future pain and suffering. The judge did credit the evidence that Avila faces future humiliation, shame, and embarrassment.
The rest of Brown's arguments went nowhere. Cotton rejected the claim that jurors were tainted by the admission of Brown's 2009 felony ******* ault conviction involving Rihanna.
