Jennifer Lawrence is proving once again that a small hair change can make a major difference.
The 36-year-old actress stepped out at Dior's Spring 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week on Sept. 29 with a noticeably different take on her signature fringe. Lawrence wore her long, honey-blonde hair in loose waves, but her bangs were shorter, lighter and more piecey than the style she had been sporting just weeks earlier.
The new fringe sits about an inch above her eyebrows, with wispy pieces creating a softer, more open look around her face. Hairstylist Matthew Sosnowski styled the bangs with a bit of texture to give them a deliberately lived-in finish, according to British Vogue.
The change is particularly noticeable because Lawrence had only recently debuted another new bang style. In early September, hairstylist Chris Appleton introduced her "butterfly bangs," which were shorter and airy in the center before sweeping outward toward her cheekbones.
Lawrence has become something of a bangs chameleon in recent years, cycling through several variations, including Jane Birkin-inspired bangs, curtain fringe and U-shaped bangs. Her latest look is a much more pared-back version, with the shorter pieces drawing attention to her eyes while leaving the rest of her long hair untouched.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped out for a date night in New York City amid speculation about how his NFL season could affect their marriage. This date night comes over two months after the couple tied the knot on July 3 at iconic Madison Square Garden in the city. Interestingly, this romantic outing also comes at a time when reports have hinted that Kelce's new innings with the Chiefs will put his marriage to Swift to a test.
It seems like Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have put all rumors to rest by spending a romantic date night outing in NYC. Page Six shared exclusive photos of Swift and Kelce in stylish outfits as they dined at the Indian restaurant Ambassadors Clubhouse. Notably, it is a hotspot located in the NoMad district on Sunday night.
In the photos, the Chiefs tight end puts a protective hand on his wife's waist as they walk into the restaurant from their SUV. The "Opalite" crooner modelled a metallic graphite brown halter dress by Stella McCartney. As per the outlet, she paired it with a red-brown purse and matching metallic heels that added an extra dose of oomph to the look.
She also reportedly opted for the Elizabeth Taylor opal ring and bracelet set, which her now-husband gifted her last Christmas. Swift's wispy bangs framed her face as she paired it with her signature red lipstick look for the romantic night out.
Kelce opted for a white silk striped shirt with brown trousers and checkered shoes. He completed the look with stylish aviators and a watch. It seems like Swift and Kelce have taken it upon themselves to ****** ure their fans and well-wishers that there is nothing to worry about.

Taylor Swift stepped out for another stylish date night with Travis Kelce in New York City. While her shimmering Stella McCartney dress grabbed attention, the singer's carefully chosen accessories completed the sophisticated look. From metallic Aquazzura heels to statement jewelry, every piece added to the polished ensemble for the evening outing.
Swift paired her metallic brown Stella McCartney Striped Silk-Blend Halter Neck Maxi Dress, priced at $2,800, with equally glamorous accessories. Most notably, she wore Aquazzura Twist 95 Sandals in gold, priced at $944. Crafted from metallic calf leather, the heels featured elegant knot detailing, an open-toe design, and sculpted high heels that perfectly complemented the shimmering gown.
She also carried the Stella McCartney Frayme Scale-Embossed Bucket Bag, valued at $1,595, in a rich chocolate brown shade. The structured handbag added texture to the outfit while coordinating beautifully with the earthy metallic tones of her dress.
Meanwhile, Swift elevated the look with luxurious jewelry. She wore Mindi Mond Imperial Citrine & Diamond Drop Earrings, worth $19,000, adding a vibrant golden sparkle beside her face. She also accessorized with the Elizabeth Taylor Darlene De Sedle 22K Gold & Opal Diamond bracelet and ring. Additionally, she wore her custom 8-carat antique Old Mine brilliant-cut diamond engagement ring and wedding band by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry. Together, the heirloom-inspired pieces added timeless elegance.
Her beauty look remained classic. Swift styled her brown hair in soft, smooth waves with full bangs framing her face. In addition, she wore her iconic red lipstick, subtle eyeliner, and softly defined eye makeup. A natural, glowing complexion completed the refined evening appearance.

Taylor Swift brought some serious sparkle to her latest date night with Travis Kelce. The singer stepped out in New York City on September 6 alongside her husband, delivering an elegant evening look packed with luxe details. While her striped high-slit dress made a statement of its own, Swift's jewelry collection, including gorgeous earrings, took the look to an entirely different price bracket.
Taylor Swift accessorized with Mindi Mond's Imperial Citrine & Diamond Drop Earrings, which retail for a whopping $19,000. The striking earrings feature enormous cushion-cut citrine stones suspended beneath glittering round diamonds, bringing a rich golden-yellow pop of color to her look. According to the product listing, the earrings feature a total citrine weight of 31 carats alongside 1.20 carats of diamonds.
Swift let the statement jewels peek through her softly styled brown waves, which she wore down with her signature bangs. The warm tone of the citrine also complemented the earthy palette of her striped Stella silk blend McCartney halter-neck maxi dress without competing with it. Priced at $2,800, the dress made for a perfect date night look. It featured an asymmetric neckline and a high slit that flashed her leg as she walked.
In addition, the $19K earrings weren't the only major jewels involved. Swift also wore an Elizabeth Taylor Darlene De Sedle 22-karat gold, opal, and diamond bracelet and ring set. Most notably, her custom Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry diamond engagement ring and wedding band were also on display.
She completed the outfit with metallic Twist 95 Sandals by Aquazzura and a Frayme Scale-Embossed Bucket Bag by Stella McCartney. These luxury accessories also came with a costly price tag. She walked hand-in-hand with her husband, who wore brown pants and a soft mint-green shirt.

Nicole Kidman has been working in Hollywood for almost 40 years, and in that time she has stunned audiences with her natural hair in movies like Eyes Wide Shut and had everyone scratching their heads when she was put into Party City-quality wigs for other roles.
Over the years, Kidman has talked about wearing wigs in her roles to protect her real hair, but while some are indistinguishable from natural hair, others are truly tragic. We're looking at you, Little Orphan Annie wig from 2016's Lion.
Kidman's wig game ranges from distractingly bad to ones any drag queen would be proud of. But what we're really focused on are the times her wigs were so good you wouldn't even know she was wearing one if you didn't already know she had a head full of red ringlets in real life.

When Kidman played the nose-twitching witch in this Bewtiched remake, she gave us a curly blond bob with bangs that both fits the character and her face.

Model Emily Ratajkowski is taking fashion lovers back in time with a spectacular archival cover shoot. Starring on the cover of EE72 magazine's Fall 2026 issue, the supermodel embraced full '90s nostalgia. Styled by chief creative officer Edward Enninful, Emily wore legendary runway pieces straight from Vivienne Westwood's iconic Fall/Winter 1993 collection. Photographed by Craig McDean, her daring tartan ensemble proved that true vintage fashion never goes out of style.
For the dramatic "Made in the 90s" cover story, Emily stepped into a museum-worthy plaid creation. The colorful tartan micro minidress featured a dangerously high hemline that showcased her long legs. The outfit combined rich red, green, and blue tartan fabrics. It was artfully layered with a fuzzy wool wrap, a fitted waist belt, and pleated side panels. Across her hips, she wore a traditional fur-trimmed sporran bag hanging from a delicate silver chain.
Stylist Edward Enninful carefully curated every detail to match Westwood's famous punk-meets-royalty aesthetic. On her head, Emily wore a matching tartan beret topped with a dramatic sweeping feather. Down below, she wore bright, colorful argyle socks pulled up her calves. She paired the socks with sky-high black lace-up platform heels. In behind-the-scenes video footage, Enninful admired the rare footwear and hat, calling the entire look a true museum piece.
During the photoshoot, Emily posed against a bold red studio backdrop while photographer Craig McDean directed her movements. He guided her to place her hands firmly on her hips and turn into a dramatic side profile. Emily worked the camera effortlessly, bringing moody, smoldering energy to every frame.
Meanwhile, her beauty team created a quintessential '90s grunge-glam look. Hairstylist Karim Belghiran gave her textured, messy waves with long fringe bangs. Makeup artist ***** Page finished the look with intense plum-smoky eyeshadow, sharp eyeliner, and a nude lip. Ultimately, Emily Ratajkowski brought a legendary fashion moment back to life with unmatchable supermodel poise.

Taylor Swift knows exactly when to let one accessory have its moment. For her latest appearance, the superstar kept her jewelry elegant but undeniably luxurious. And one diamond-covered piece came with a five-figure price tag.
Taylor Swift attended the Grammy Museum's "Icon Sessions" on August 24, where she accessorized her look with Effy Jewelry's 14K White and Yellow Gold Diamond Chain Link Tennis Bracelet. According to Taylor Swift Styled, the bracelet retails for $12,596.50. The statement piece features a chain-link design crafted in both white and yellow gold, with diamonds covering the interlocking links for an extra dose of sparkle.
The bracelet stood out against Swift's flowing sage-green dress, which featured sheer fabric, cascading ruffles, and a dramatic dark red floral embellishment at one shoulder. Instead of overwhelming the romantic design with jewelry, Swift kept the styling relatively simple.
She paired the Effy bracelet with Retrouvaí's 3ct Round Diamond Heirloom Bezel Earrings, reportedly priced at $35,000, along with her custom Kindred Lubeck engagement ring. She notably went without a necklace, allowing the floral neckline to remain a focal point.
Swift completed the ensemble with her hair swept into a woven updo, leaving her signature bangs framing her face. A rich red lip echoed the dress's floral accent. For the rest of her beauty look, she opted for natural glam, with rosy cheeks and defined eyes.

Former Cincinnati Reds great Joey Votto tweeted that he'll be part of NBC's Sunday Night Baseball broadcast of the Reds' game August 30 against the Cubs in Chicago.
"I'm doing Reds/Cubs next Sunday," Votto tweeted. "Tell me something I didn't need to know about the game."
"Give me one SFW word I need to sneak in on air," Votto added via Twitter. He tweeted a poll with the choices of "who dey" and "bangs" and added, "It's up to you now."
In July, Votto explained during NBC's Sunday Night Baseball broadcast why he's never visited the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
Votto also was asked while making his NBC Sunday Night Baseball debut July 26 whether he ever lobbied to play the outfield, and he mentioned a painful memory.

When it comes to Zooey Deschanel, a few things instantly come to mind. Deadpan comedy and the cult classic "(500) Days of Summer" are some key ones, but today, we're talking about Deschanel's signature hairstyle: her bangs. Some celebrities are all about switching their hairstyles with every new era and role, while others tend to stick to what works best for them — and Deschanel certainly falls in the latter camp. Over the more than two decades she's worked in the entertainment industry, she's almost exclusively rocked bangs, whether they were bulky bangs, straight-across ones, a wispy '90s fringe, or boho bottleneck bangs. Basically, she's sported some variety, but she's stayed in the same realm.
Will this theme continue through her wedding day? Deschanel and reality television star Jonathan Scott — best known as half of HGTV's "Property Brothers" — announced their engagement in August of 2023, and we can't help but wonder if Deschanel will rock bangs for the event. After all, she's known for them, but bangs are notoriously hard to manage. Well, it appears that Deschanel is up for the challenge, as she told People when asked about her wedding 'do, "Always bangs. Always."

Zooey Deschanel wearing bangs to her wedding falls directly in line with previous interviews she's done. "You could say that I'm hooked on bangs. Would I ever give them up? I have, and I might again — for a role, perhaps — but I really don't feel like myself without them," Deschanel told Glamour back in 2013. "When I first got into acting, I was a bit of a chameleon ... So I used my look to help create an identity. Now people know me as the girl with bangs." And over the past decade, not much has changed. She's remained a poster child for bangs, and we mean that as a sincere compliment.

Anne Hathaway has traded the long brunette hair she has worn throughout much of 2026 for a dramatically different look on the September cover of Vogue China, a short, choppy pixie that immediately recalls one of the biggest hair transformations of her career.
The 43-year-old actress appears with layered bangs and closely cropped sides in the new editorial, photographed by Norman Jean Roy. The styling changes throughout the shoot, with the short hair appearing tousled and spiky in some images before becoming considerably sleeker in others.
There is one important catch before declaring that Hathaway has actually chopped off her hair. Just Jared noted that the pixie is most likely a wig, and neither Hathaway nor Vogue China has publicly confirmed that she permanently cut her hair.
Even if the transformation exists only for the photoshoot, it gives Hathaway her shortest public hair look in roughly 13 years. The closest comparison comes from the pixie she wore through 2012 and 2013 after cutting her real hair for Fantine in Les Misérables.
The September cover pairs Hathaway's short hair with a white Louis Vuitton blazer trimmed in black. Other photographs take both the clothes and hair in different directions. Hathaway appears in a bright red dress with matching latex gloves, a purple blazer and a boxy black suit while the crop shifts from deliberately messy and windblown to smooth and tightly controlled.

Taylor Swift flew across the Atlantic to attend Laura Sisk and Oli Jacobs' wedding in the United Kingdom on Saturday. The wedding of the audio engineers took place at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios outside Bath in Gloucestershire.
On Sunday, People Magazine published photos from the wedding, showing Swift sporting a shoulder-length hairstyle and her signature bangs. She wore a navy blue dress with gold floral embroidery. In accessories, she opted for a pearl necklace and her signature bold red lip.
Swift's friends, Jack Antonoff and singer Sabrina Carpenter, also attended.
Taylor Swift has worn shoulder-length hair during several important periods of her career.
During the "1989" era in 2014 and 2015, she cut her long hair into a shoulder-length bob or lob. She kept the wavy, side-swept style through most of the 1989 World Tour before switching to a shorter, chin-length blunt bob in early 2016.

Taylor Swift was spotted enjoying herself in London as her husband, Travis Kelce, returned to Chiefs' training post-wedding. You've got actors, and then you have movie stars whose work makes us feel all the feels, transcends generations, and gets embedded into the cultural zeitgeist. Add in the dreaminess of Old Hollywood, and we couldn't be talking about anyone else but Audrey Hepburn. Still today, the Belgium-born actor is immediately recognizable courtesy of those big brown eyes, that sporty little pixie cut, and her sparkling, sophisticated charm. Hepburn started racking up credits in the early 1950s, scoring her breakout role in 1953's "Roman Holiday," which earned her a best actress Academy Award — and she'd keep working for nearly four decades. But her work isn't the only reason why she's such a legendary figure. There's also her fashion.
Beyond the work, Hepburn remains one of those pop culture style icons you should let influence your wardrobe. You could get lost for hours going through her old photographs, and notice that there's no shortage of iconic outfits in her wardrobe. Her best looks have withstood shifting trends no matter how much time has passed. No one would bat an eyelash if a stylish gal in the 2020s pulled on the checker print cigarette pants Hepburn wore in 1955 or the jewel-toned pink gown she wore to the 1992 Oscars.

In the 1950s, Audrey Hepburn posed for glamour shots — as she was known to do here and there — leaning against a tree and draped in a simply chic outfit that could work in any era. The "Funny Face" star was rocking a dark lip and her signature micro bangs, wearing a long-sleeved blouse that was wrapped and tied tight at the waist. She paired the top with a classic tea-length black shirt and popped on a pair of easy ballet flats that haven't gone anywhere in the decades since.

The Princess of Wales' beautiful brunette hair has become just as synonymous with her royal image as her immaculate wardrobe. The 'Kate effect' has influenced women's haircuts for decades, and shows no sign of slowing down.
Whether Princess Kate is debuting a fresh set of face-framing curtain bangs or unveiling a glossy, chocolate brown refresh, fans flock to copy her iconic looks.
As a senior member of the royal family and future Queen Consort, the Princess has done little by way of 'hair transformations' over the years, staying loyal to her signature chocolate brown 'do and only altering it slightly in the 15 years she's been married to Prince William.

A Wisconsin brewery known for anti-Trump social media posts, including one promising a free beer promotion upon the death of President Donald Trump, has had its permit to operate in the state revoked by state officials.

It's not the way they thought they'd be spending their older years: getting two tweens ready for school and scraping together meals from food banks.
At the crack of dawn one Tuesday morning, 59-year-old Vicki Parisella bangs on her granddaughters' bedroom doors. Silence from Myaliissa's room; a whine from Tatiana's. Minutes later, Tatiana drags her backpack into the living room.
"Your shirt's on backward," Vicki tells the 11-year-old.
As if Vicki flipped an on-switch, Tatiana zooms around the living room while Vicki's husband, Sal, packs their lunches. Vicki braids Tatiana's hair and helps her put on her shoes as Myaliissa, 13, gets dressed. By 7:20, Vicki already has a headache.

As the Minnesota Vikings get ready for the start of training camp, one thing the Vikings' offensive coaching staff is likely preparing for is continuing the installation of the offense. That carries added importance this season if the Vikings have a new starting quarterback, particularly in the passing game, but the run game is also likely to get a bit of a makeover with the addition of ****** istant head coach Frank Smith, who is focusing on the run game.
Kevin O'Connell is an offshoot of the McVay branch of the Shanahan coaching tree while Frank Smith worked under Mike McDaniel in Miami, who is an offshoot of the Kyle Shanahan branch. McDaniel specialized in the run game working under Kyle Shanahan and Frank Smith will bring a lot of those concepts to Minnesota. I won't go into the Shanahan coaching tree history, which you can get it here, but there is a lot of overlap between various offshoots, even as each of them evolve too.
A core feature of the Shanahan offense is the wide zone run scheme. When you see all the offensive linemen take a drop or bucket step and then all block horizontally in the same direction, that is zone blocking. In wide zone, the running back aims for the ****** of the tight end or if there is no tight end on the play side, then the outside leg of the tackle. The back then reads the defensive end and makes his cut after 3-5 steps. If he moves inside, the back bounces the run outside, if he pursues outside, the back bends it back inside, if the hole is open, he bangs through. Below is a classic outside zone play, called on 1st and 10.
This isn't new for the Vikings or Kevin O'Connell's scheme. It's been a staple for years. In fact, it's not all that different than 'super power left' power sweeps we used to run in pee-wee football back in the 1970s
And if you watch the play, it didn't fool the Bengals defense. The defensive formation was toward the play side, countering the double tight-end set, the linebackers flow toward the run immediately, there is even a backside defensive back blitzing to try and get to Mason behind the line of scrimmage. The play was successful because it was well blocked and Mason didn't hesitate, but the play design itself didn't do much to tilt the outcome in the Vikings' favor.

On Monday, Zendaya attended the Spider-Man: Brand New Day fan event at Aztlan Feria de Chapultepec in Mexico City, continuing the darker aesthetic that has defined this press tour.
For the occasion, she wore a black Ashi Studio Spring 2026 Couture gown. The standout feature was the web-like knit embroidery that swept diagonally across the bodice and one sleeve, finished with glass tassels and long beaded fringe cascading from the cuffs. It was an especially apt choice considering Spider-Man's webs are created from his hands, making the sleeve detailing a clever extension of the film's central theme rather than a decorative flourish.
The contrast between the smooth silk crepe and the textured embroidered panel also caught my attention. It almost feels as though the dress is in the middle of a transformation, which neatly echoes Peter Parker's own transformation into Spider-Man.
Is it too dramatic for a fan event? I'm sure some will say yes. But this press tour has consistently prioritised storytelling, and this look stayed firmly on message.
I was also pleased to see a different hairstyle after a run of similar looks for the first run of this press tour. The updo freshened everything up, although I've never been a huge fan of baby bangs.

Suddenly, the heavy steel door bangs open. The CAPTAIN strides in, a thick cigar clamped tightly between his teeth. He marches directly up behind the two men, whips the cigar out of his mouth with a sharp flick of his wrist, and slams his hands down onto the backs of their chairs, leaning in deep to peer over their shoulders.
CAPTAIN: Report, Petty Officer! Tell me what's so important.

There are many key aspects to Sabrina Carpenter's signature look. There are her platform boots, Sabrina Carpenter's trademark rosy blush, her sparkling bodysuits, and, perhaps most importantly, her luscious, enviable blowout. In terms of perfect hair, billowing curls, and voluminous curtain bangs, the "Please Please Please" singer's got it down to a science. Her platinum-blond locks have become synonymous with her image, but in late June 2025, when she attended the Dior's menswear fashion show at Paris Fashion Week, she ventured outside of the trademark tresses that she's worn for some time now.
The "Manchild" singer stepped out in head-to-toe Dior in a steel-gray cinched waist blazer and a pleated skirt, accessorizing with the iconic Lady Dior handbag. For the first time in years, Carpenter wore her hair in a side part, clipping her bangs back with a tortoiseshell barrette. Rather than volumizing a mile high, the singer's 'do was smoothed down, with a wide-barreled curl at the ends. Altogether, it was a mixture of business casual meets Old-Hollywood glamour — the perfect cornerstone for an event like this — and it took us back to her pre-"Espresso" days.

There's no telling why Sabrina Carpenter brought back her old hair look, but we do know why she got rid of it to begin with. The origin story of her quintessential hairstyle is how many women have ended up with bangs at one point or another: heartbreak. In June 2024, Carpenter revealed to Vanity Fair that her motivation behind the chop came "'cause someone broke my heart and I was just like, 'I have to do something.'" By that September, when she was heading out on her "Short 'n Sweet" tour, everyone wanted in on her hair secrets.
While she has let us in on her glam secrets before — Sabrina Carpenter and Renée Rapp's lipstick hack is a makeup game-changer — the "Juno" singer wasn't too quick to reveal her hair routine. It became a running rumor that the only way she could get her hair so perfectly voluminous, colored, and curled was by wearing a wig or pounds of extensions. The "Girl Meets World" alum played into the bit perfectly, too. "I will not confirm or deny," she said to TIME Magazine in October 2024. "Yeah... I don't even know what a wig is, but I also don't know what not a wig is."
