Adriana La Cerva in The Sopranos. Ginger McKenna in Casino. Sofía Vergara's Griselda Blanco. For decades, the mob wife has been the archetypal anti-heroine – all fur, animal print and knee-high boots. Now Catherine Zeta-Jones has joined the ranks.
Shedding the gothic lace and American drawl of Morticia Addams in Netflix's Wednesday, Swansea-born Zeta-Jones is using her real Welsh accent on screen for the first time in Prime Video's revenge thriller Kill Jackie. She plays Jackie Price, an ex-cocaine dealer whose quiet life unravels when one routine decision ends with an elite squad of ******* assins hired to kill her.
Unsurprisingly, the series is already drawing comparisons with the BBC's Killing Eve. The series shares a director (Damon Thomas), a dark, twisted humour and puts a fierce, quirky woman at its centre. But the strongest link may be the wardrobe.
Just as Villanelle's Molly Goddard tulle dress became a character in its own right, Jackie's wardrobe – built on an enticing mix of British designers, vintage and second-hand – is every bit as scene-stealing, and serves as inspiration for how we'll want to dress this autumn.

Frasers Group has acquired department store chain Harvey Nichols from FTI Consulting, the business consulting company that had been appointed administrator to oversee its sale.
Owned by billionaire Mike Ashley, the UK retail conglomerate has not confirmed the value of the transaction, though several media outlets have reported it to be £40m ($53.9m).
Harvey Nichols had been struggling with trading and operational pressures for some time before the sale.
Harvey Nichols CEO Julia Goddard said: "Today marks an important milestone for Harvey Nichols and provides a strong platform for the next phase of the business's evolution under the ownership of Frasers Group."
The acquisition brings six UK stores into Frasers' portfolio: the Knightsbridge flagship in London, which recently underwent refurbishment, together with outlets in Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester.

Paddy Pimblett bounced back in a big way with a lightning quick submission win over Benoit Saint Denis in the UFC 329 co-main event.
Following a back-and-forth war with future UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethje back in January, Pimblett had something to prove on Saturday night. An ill-fated takedown attempt from Saint Denis was all Pimblett needed as he ***** ed a guillotine choke before transitioning to D’arce choke and the French lightweight just had no chance to escape.
The fight ended after referee Marc Goddard checked on Saint Denis and he was completely unconscious from the choke. The stoppage came at just 52 seconds into the opening round.
“Sub of the year, ***** !” Pimblett said after his latest win. “I knew he was out. I had to say to Mark, he’s unconscious. He’s going to shoot in … and I’m going to choke his ***** unconscious. I’m like a f*cking spider. When I got a hold of you, you don’t get out.
“What now? Am I finished? Who wants it next? I don’t get a f*ck. Give me anyone. Who f*cking wants it? If [Conor] McGregor wants it, he can f*cking get it!”

NASA officials tried to shut down weeks of online theories on Wednesday, insisting that an interstellar object passing through the solar system was a comet despite a wave of claims that it might be an alien craft.
The agency had stayed silent during the recent U.S. government shutdown, leaving a vacuum that fueled speculation about the object known as 3I Atlas.
During an hour-long press conference at the Goddard ******* e Flight Center, officials said the object’s behavior matched a standard comet and that the data gave them no reason to think otherwise.
They said the theories that spread o
