Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly unleashed a tirade at Olivia Rodrigo on Monday (October 5), telling the pop star to "shut up and stick to singing" after she spoke out about the Cornell 7 case.
"Olivia, in sum, you don't know what the f*** you're talking about. Shut up and stick to singing," Kelly said on her SiriusXM show, per Variety. "I liked you better when you were in front of a microphone singing your weird little depressing songs."
On Sunday (October 4), Rodrigo shared a post on her Instagram Story supporting the Jane Doe at the center of the Cornell 7 lawsuit. "Shame on Cornell and on every institution who protects rapists and abusers over women," the "drivers license" singer wrote. "I stand with Jane Doe. Her bravery reverberates across the country and the crimes against her will not go unpunished."
She added, "What she lived through matters, and so does the failure of those who could have intervened but chose not to. She deserves answers, consequences, and lasting change."

Some of the biggest and most popular chains, such as Pizza Hut and Papa John's, plan to close 100s for restaurants in 2006 to rid themselves of properties that have become a financial burden.
Boston-based pizza dining chain Bertucci's, which has filed for bankruptcy three times in the last eight years, has also closed dozens of locations.
Bertucci's most recently shuttered its last Washington, D.C.-area location with the closing of its Springfield, Va., restaurant at the end of September, according to the Washington Business Journal.
The 45-year-old pizza chain, which at one time had over 100 locations, has 11 remaining restaurants in Massachusetts, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.

The former Saturday Night Live star came under fire last week for his comments about female content creators in an interview with Variety.
Underneath an Instagram post about his comments, Olivia called out the comedian, claiming that he ditched her in 2020 and she found out about it via Snapchat.

US bond yields have surged upward over the past month, as yields on both the 10-year Treasury (^TNX) and 30-year Treasury (^TYX) have reached levels not seen since 2002, surpassing 2007 high-water marks in the lead-up to the financial crisis.
Investors have attributed the run-up in yields to a variety of concerns, from the artificial intelligence build-out and the competition for capital to changing foreign ownership of gold versus fixed income.

One overlooked source of upward pressure, argued Macquarie's Thierry Wizman, is not just the impact of the Iran war on the energy market but uncertainty about when the war will end or what the conflict will look like going forward.
"The perception that global conflict is endemic may also be causing long-term inflation expectation[s] to stay elevated," Wizman wrote to clients.

Ken Urker, the partner of Gypsy-Rose Blanchard and father of their child, was found dead Thursday in Raceland, Louisiana. He was 34.
Captain Brennan Matherne of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Department said in a statement to Variety, "We responded to a residence at 107 Double H Drive, Lot 4, in Raceland today after receiving a call at 6:15 p.m. Kenan Urker, 34, was found dead upon arrival. At this time, we are continuing the death investigation."

Lady Gaga released a statement through her Haus Labs makeup brand, apologizing to beauty influencer Golloria.
Golloria previously made a video calling out one of the line's new products for a non-inclusive shade range, though Haus Labs asked her to remove it as the product was under an embargo.
"I truly apologize to Golloria," Gaga said in the statement, with the brand adding that it paused the launch and added five more inclusive shades following Golloria's "powerful voice."

"She didn't kiss me," Rose wrote on Threads, per Variety. "She saw me 'resting' on my best friends lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting **** on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her."
Rose said that at the time she re-framed the tale to be a "funny little drunk story" because she "didn't know how else to handle it." She also alleged, "Later she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I DID tell yall she wasn't a good person."
