Jessica Alba looked better than ever as she showcased her washboard abs in a Y2K-inspired outfit ahead of Paris Hilton's end-of-summer party, with the movie star borrowing clothes from her teenage daughter for the star-studded event.
The 45-year-old donned a beige tank top with gray stars dotted across it and a brown miniskirt that sat low on her hips, à la Y2K. She paired the look with stacked necklaces, a chunky gold bangle, eye-catching earrings and brown knee-high boots, and wore her brown-blonde hair in a half-up, half-down style.
Jessica looked incredible in the miniskirt and tank top (@ Instagram)
"Haven said hold please…When your 15-year-old daughter pulls from her closet to dress you for a Y2K party…thank you Haven," she wrote on Instagram, after revealing the outfit she had originally planned to wear before the teen intervened.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste, but college is awfully expensive.
Depending on where someone goes to school, they can be left with a lot of debt — an albatross that can hang around their neck for decades. Among 401(k) plan participants in their 40s, those with student loan debt had median retirement account balances roughly 45% lower than those without, according to a new report from the Employee Benefit Research Institute.
The best option is to figure out scholarships, financial aid, debt timelines and what school makes financial sense before going to college. But that's not reality for many clients, leaving advisors to help fit student debt into a financial plan that balances both loans and savings. "The biggest mistake I see is treating student loans as an all-or-nothing problem," said Corinna Rose, a CFP with Bell Investment Advisors. "Many borrowers think they need to eliminate every dollar of debt before they can start investing."

Jessica Alba and her daughter twinned for "day and night" looks during recent outings. The "Fantastic Four" star shared a collaborative Instagram post with her daughter featuring two photos of the duo. They appeared in matching ensembles in the women's final of the 2026 US Open on September 12.
At the women's final of the 2026 US Open, Jessica Alba and her daughter, Honor Warren. looked like twins in matching outfits. The 45-year-old wore an airy, off-white midi sundress with thin spaghetti straps. It had a fitted sweetheart bodice that transitioned into a pleated A-line skirt.
She knotted a slate-gray sweater around her waist, adding a casual, laid-back structure to the monochrome outfit. Rimless, tinted oval sunglasses, large hoop earrings, layered gold chain necklaces, a black shoulder bag, and pointed-toe white leather flats completed her look. She wore her hair down in loose waves.
Meanwhile, Warren wore a relaxed, blue-and-white micro-checkered gingham maxi dress featuring a smocked bust, a lace-up front detail, and a flowy tiered skirt. She layered a soft white sweater, casually draped and tied over her shoulders. She accessorised with narrow dark rectangular sunglasses, a pendant necklace, a black shoulder bag, and dark brown leather ballet flats.
For the evening look, Warren and Alba switched into lace-trimmed black dresses. The actress wore a sultry black satin slip dress trimmed with black lace along the diagonal neckline and sheer lace hem. She paired it with glossy black platform ankle-strap heels. Further, she carried a Fendi Multicolor Baguette, adding a pop of color to her look.

TROY - With a pair of former University at Albany quarterbacks at the controls, the Utica offense shredded RPI again on Saturday.
Former Great Danes backup Tyler Szalkowski completed 29 of 38 passes for 402 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead the Pioneers to a 38-14 victory over the Engineers at East Campus Stadium.
"I enjoyed my time at Albany," said Szalkowski, who spent the 2021 and 2022 seasons with the Great Danes. "Everything they did for me just made me who I am today."
Utica improved to 2-0, while RPI fell to 1-1.
It was the second straight year Szalkowski picked apart RPI. He was 27-of-29 passing for 385 yards and six touchdowns when the Pioneers blew out the Engineers 41-14 in Utica last season.

The Amgen Irish Open at Trump International Doonbeg has turned into a story of resilience and record-breaking golf. While the first round saw players battling wind and rain that made the course play brutally difficult, the second round brought a dramatic shift in fortune. Shane Lowry, the local favorite, didn't just survive the conditions; he absolutely dominated them. After airing his frustration with the slow pace caused by the weather in the opening round, Lowry produced a stunning performance to take the lead. Golf Monthly reports that Lowry shot a record-breaking 62 under much kinder conditions to take the lead at the midpoint. This score puts him two shots clear of the field and sets the stage for a thrilling weekend.
The contrast between the two rounds couldn't be starker. The first day was defined by struggle, with Golf Monthly noting that the brutal conditions contributed to slow play across the property. Players like Lowry had to wait for groups ahead, testing their patience. Yet, when the wind died down, Lowry found his rhythm. He isn't alone in the hunt, however. The chasing pack is packed with talent, including defending champion Rory McIlroy, two-time Major winner Jon Rahm, and Brooks Koepka, all of whom Golf Monthly confirmed will join Lowry in the third round. Joaquin Niemann, the first-round leader, also remains in contention to challenge the Irishman.
While Lowry's score grabs the headlines, the most compelling story of the week might be the rise of Niklas Nørgaard. The Danish golfer has moved into a tie for second place alongside Jacob Skov Olesen and Haotong Li after posting matching 64s, according to europeantour.com. This surge came from a fundamental change in how Nørgaard approached the game, not just better ball-striking. The pressure of competition often weighs heavy, but Nørgaard found a way to lighten the load. A shift in mindset this week earned praise for his caddie, as he disclosed that his coach is actually riding in the bag during this event.
Nørgaard explained his strategy directly to the media, and the result was immediate. Europeantour.com notes that Nørgaard received late applause from spectators after draining a vital putt on the 18th and finishing his round with a closing birdie to enter the chase. His back nine was a blur of birdies, specifically a burst from the 14th to 16th holes that propelled him up the leaderboard. You have to wonder if that mental shift is the only thing standing between him and a ***** le run, considering how tight the field really is.
Other players faced different challenges. Thomas Detry made an albatross at the par-5 10th in the opening round, a rare feat that should have boosted his day. However, he finished the first day with a 74 and ultimately missed the cut, according to Golf Monthly. On the other side of the field, David Puig struggled to find consistency. Following a 71 in the opening round that left him one over par, he posted the exact same score during the second rou

Colo Colo's young forward, Leandro Hernández, became one of the biggest surprises in the Chile National Team squad for the North American tour, where they will face Canada, the United States, and Mexico. After establishing himself with the 'Cacique,' the attacker will receive his first call-up to the senior team.
Speaking with Arturo Vidal, the young Alba talent said he is ready for the challenge. "I feel prepared because I think I've improved a lot, especially physically; I used to struggle in physical battles, and today I'm better," said the Colo Colo standout.
Looking ahead to the upcoming matches, Hernández sent a message to coach Nicolás Córdova about his ideal position: he made it clear that he prefers to play centrally as an attacking midfielder rather than out wide, seeking more contact with the ball.

Bebe Rexha sent Drake a shot. And he didn't respond.
Grammy-nominated singer revealed in a new episode of Angie Martinez's IRL podcast how she tried to hook up with the rapper in the wake of his popular 20v1 speed-dating live stream last month, but remained unanswered.
"I'm your dream girl, I'm Albanian, I got a fat a**, I got my own thing going on, and I don't even think he saw it or he saw it and just ignored it," Rexha said.
In this episode, released on September 10th, she shared details of her path from NYC songwriter to recording artist in Los Angeles, and her collaboration with country icon Dolly Parton on their duet "Seasons."
The singer thinks Drake might have been spoiled too much by his ex-girlfriends to be interested in someone else. As is known, the rapper had a romance with Rihanna, whose famous hits included such duets with Drake as "What's My Name?" and "Work."

Lily Reynolds enjoyed a tremendous first full season pitching on the varsity level as a sophomore for Colonie in 2026.
Before her final two high schools seasons, Reynolds has already provided longtime University at Albany softball coach Chris Cannata her verbal commitment to pitch for the Great Danes of the America East Conference.
"I just realized that I wanted to stay home and be around my family. That was really the big deciding factor for me - not necessarily the D-I label," Reynolds said of her decision.
"She called me (Wednesday) and I told her this is the best news ever," said Colonie coach Kelly Colvin, who played at Shenendehowa and UAlbany. "Lily has put in so much hard work with us at Colonie and with the (Capital District) Fusion. It is really cool to see it pay off for her. We're all very excited."
During her sophomore season, Reynolds compiled a 7-2 record with a 1.61 earned run average and 115 strikeouts over 91 1/3 innings for the Wolf Pack. She was named to the Times Union all-star team as a first-team selection.

Cricket Australia (CA) has opened the door to private investment in the Big Bash League (BBL), with the Melbourne Renegades set to become the first franchise offered for sale from the 2027-28 season.

The decision comes after months of discussions between Cricket Australia and Australia's state cricket ***** ociations over the future of the domestic T20 competition.

At a press conference at the SCG on Tuesday afternoon, CA confirmed that the Renegades will be the first BBL franchise to enter the private ownership process. Other BBL and WBBL teams could also be offered for sale in the future under a "self-determination" model.

The governing body said the move is aimed at bringing private investment into the T20 competition and strengthening the financial position of Australian cricket as players and teams are increasingly being drawn towards lucrative leagues around the world.

"CA will invite bids from private owners for the Renegades with a view to them playing the 2027-28 season under new ownership," the governing body said in a statement on Tuesday.

"Beginning the sales process for the Renegades allows us to take the first step in a self-determination model for our members and represents a defining moment for the game," said Cricket Australia chair Mike Baird.

"This is a significant decision that has involved an enormous amount of ***** ysis, discussion and collaboration over many months."

CA said other franchises could be put on the market at a later stage.

"Pending the result of that process, CA will consider taking other clubs to market under a self-determination model that gives each state member the ability to ***** s the optimal pathway for its own club and community."

According to cricket.com.au, Hobart Hurricanes, Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars are among the other clubs believed to be interested in private investment.

The Renegades are owned by Cricket Victoria, which supported CA's original plan. They won the BBL ***** le in the 2018-19 season.

The move comes as CA looks to strengthen its finances. Despite a boost in revenue from hosting a five-Test series against India, the game's biggest financial market, CA reported a net deficit of A$11.3 million for the 2024-25 financial year.

"By opening the door to private investment in the Big Bash Leagues, Cricket Australia is taking a deliberate step to strengthen and secure the long-term future of the game," CA Chairman Mike Baird said in Tuesday's statement.

Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced in July that December's BBL 2026-27 season opener between the Renegades and Perth Scorchers would take place in the Chennai.

While CA is allowing private ownership, it will continue to control key areas of the competition. Baird said the governing body will retain control over international scheduling, player availability, salary caps and media rights.

CA will also have the power to approve or veto investors and set a reserve price for

Matchroom Boxing's CEO has highlighted a problem in the ongoing talks between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, with their super-fight at risk of collapsing.
This year, British heavyweights Joshua and Fury signed to fight each other at long last, five years after they previously signed a deal that fell through. Once again, however, a problem has arisen.
Joshua's contract is for a clash in the UK, while Fury's contract is flexible on location. Fury and certain key figures are pushing for a 20 November showdown in New York City, while "AJ" is digging in his heels in hopes of boxing at Wembley Stadium.

GENEVA, Sept 7 (Reuters) - A U.N. expert said on Monday that Israeli clearance of rubble in Gaza could destroy valuable evidence of "atrocity crimes" and prevent the recovery of human remains.
Israel's ****** ault ‌on Gaza — started after the deadly raid into Israel by Hamas in October 2023 — has generated ‌around 61 million tons of wreckage and debris that could take seven years to clear, according to the United Nations.
Francesca Albanese, the U.N. expert on the Palestinian territories, said evidence should be gathered and human remains identified before full clearance started.
She issued a statement headlined: "UN expert warns Israeli rubble-clearing could erase traces of atrocity crimes" and said Palestinians should be behind any plans to remove waste.

BUFFALO - The wins over Football Bowl Subdivision teams will be much harder to come by over the next three years.
The University at Albany is set to play Purdue next season, Michigan State in 2028, and Cincinnati in 2029, according to an athletic department official.
Those games will offer big paydays but a slim chance of victory against teams from the Power Four conferences.
However, UAlbany had a realistic chance of pulling off an FBS upset on Thursday night. The Great Danes were sitting on the Buffalo 1 with less than two minutes left and trailing by 4 points.
Instead, UAlbany unraveled with mistakes in a 21-17 defeat in a game that didn't end until 1:22 a.m. because of lightning and heavy rain that delayed the opening kickoff by more than 2 ½ hours.

Yes, there is such a thing as a good 5-5 start – at least for now, considering how insane it is to try figuring out all these teams with mostly new players.

What's so good about it? Going 3-2 yesterday was fine, and over the first two runs, one loss was that horrific Hawaii beat against Stanford, another came in the final seconds of Illinois-UAB, and then there's the whopper – thinking Rutgers would destroy UMass. Historically shocking whiff, cap tipped, moving on.

There aren't many options for the Friday games, but let's force down an appetizer before the smorgasbord on Saturday.

Last Week's Results: 5-5
– All the Week 1 Picks
– Week 1 Expert Picks
Line: Point Total 46.5
ATS Pick: Under

This is one of those picks to see if we have our in-season game legs early on. Seriously, feel free to ignore this one, because it's a little dangerous.

Both teams have new coaching staffs, new ideas, and wholesale personnel changes. That, and 46.5 isn't all that hard to hit – the original call to make this one of the games was when the total was 49.5.

Again, I'm flying a bit blind here, but it's Pat Fitzgerald with a pieced-together team. It'll be about the defense and running game. Mike Jacobs' Toledo side will keep the chains moving and the clock rolling. This should be a good, tough fight.
– Toledo vs Michigan State Game Preview
Line: Kansas -41.5
ATS Pick: Kansas

It's a small sample size, but one key mini-trend isn't shocking – with the exception of Buffalo against Albany, FBS teams are annihilating the FCSers.

Utah 66, Idaho 14
UCF 73, Bethune-Cookman 6
Missouri 54, UAPB 14
Delaware 42, Merrimack 7
Kennesaw State 47, West Georgia 0 (I LOVED this and chickened out yesterday, not making this one of the five best picks)
Minnesota 59, Eastern Illinois 7

I never change our call on the predicted final score in our game previews unless something insane happens, but Kansas big at home against LIU – partly because it'll likely go full throttle for a full 60 minutes – was the call from the start. If anything, we were probably too conservative on what the Jayhawks will do.
– LIU vs Kansas Game Preview

Sticking with that FBS blowout over FCS thing …
Line: Purdue -35.5, o/u: 55.5
ATS Pick: Purdue

There's no need to do a deep dive here. Purdue has a brutal schedule ahead, it's been a rough run over the last few years, and the coaches will keep pushing because the program has to set a new tone. Purdue beat Indiana State 49-0 in 2024, and Indiana slipped past the Sycamores by 73 last year.
– Indiana State vs Purdue Game Preview
Line: Point Total 47.5
ATS Pick: Over

Two things are in play here. First, the Stanford defense didn't look like anything special once the Hawaii offense got rolling in the 37-27 Cardinal win. There's a real chance Miami takes care of most of the total on its own.

Here's the second part – the line is 24.5. In the six games last year when Miami won by more than that, all but the 38-7 win over Pi

BUFFALO, N,Y. (AP) — Chance Morrow caught his third touchdown pass from Elijah Holmes with 4:23 left in the game and the Buffalo Bulls beat the Albany Great Danes of the FCS 21-17 on Thursday night.
Morrow finished with seven receptions for 48 yards for the Bulls (1-0). Holmes was 26-of-47 passing for 189 yards and hit Morrow for touchdowns of 9, 4 and 5 yards.
Kickoff, which had originally been scheduled for 7 p.m. local time, was delayed about 2 3/4 hours due to inclement weather in the area.
Rahshan La Mons ran for a 4-yard gain that made it second-and-goal from inside the 1 with 1:26 left, but a false start moved the Great Danes (1-1) back outside the 5. On fourth-and-goal, Stevie Bracey tackled Luke McAuliffe at the 3 to seal it.
Holmes led the Bulls on a 15-play, 75-yard drive that took more than 6 1/2 minutes off the clock and made it 7-7 when he hit Morrow for a 9-yard TD with 11:23 left in the first half.

OSLO, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Norwegian authorities have seized a Russian cruise ship in the Arctic on behalf of Ukrainian energy company Naftogaz, which is seeking to enforce a $4.22 billion compensation award for ******* ets that Moscow took when Russia annexed Crimea in 2014.
Officials said the ‌vessel, the Professor Molchanov, was seized late on Wednesday in Barentsburg, a coal mining settlement that Russia operates on the Norwegian Arctic archipelago of Svalbard under ‌the terms of a 1920 treaty.
Russia called the arrest of the ship an act of piracy and said it had summoned the Norwegian ambassador to deliver a strong protest. The Russian Foreign Ministry said it would work to secure the vessel's release.
"Amid the restrictive measures imposed by Norway against Russia on Svalbard - measures that violate international law - Russian organizations and citizens operating on the archipelago are effectively under blockade," it said, accusing Norway of violating the treaty.

The 2026 Syracuse Football season is two days away and we've got a lot of questions as the Orange prepare to welcome New Hampshire on Saturday. What will we learn from this game? It might not be too telling, but we've got some things we'll be watching for.
Kevin: Running game
I think the Orange will keep things vanilla but last week UAlbany averaged over 7 yards per carry against UNH. This means Syracuse should be able to control the line of scrimmage and chew up yardage without having to show any new wrinkles before they face Cal. On defense, I'm watching to see how Vince Kehres has his defense attack the running game of his opponent. Can the Syracuse front seven get into the backfield and force the Wildcats into obvious passing situations?
Mike: Early receiving impressions
I'll take the other offensive category featuring a vastly different cast than last year. With both Justus Ross-Simmons and Tyshawn Russell not in the two-deep for Week 1, I'm intrigued to see who in the room takes first steps towards being a prominent target this season. Could Umari Hatcher finally return to 2023 form? Do any of the underclassmen start an early breakout? And will the tight ends be a factor in the pass game this season? The reps should be spread around here so let's see who shines.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce married Taylor Swift in front of over 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden on July 3.
The star-studded guest list included Tom Cruise, Karlie Kloss, Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Jessica Alba, Jimmy Fallon, Hugh Grant, and more. While the guest list was massive, the famous couple kept their wedding party small. Swift's brother, Austin Swift, served as the singer's Man of Honor while Jason Kelce, the Chiefs star's older brother, was his Best Man.
One of Swift's close friends, Zoë Kravitz, also attended the nuptials. However, her fiancé, Harry Styles, did not. While Styles and Swift famously dated over a decade ago, between November 2012 and January 2013, his absence didn't appear personal.

Her brunette locks were swept back into a low bun and she opted for a makeup-free complexion with a glowing base.
Jessica's toned figure is courtesy of her fitness regime that blends high-intensity workouts with flexibility exercises. In 2024, Jessica's personal trainer Ramona Braganza told Shape the actress enjoys Iyengar yoga, which focuses on holding poses longer. "She finds it very beneficial for stretching her body out," said Ramona.

"I attribute my athletic body to the martial arts, gymnastics, dance, and strength training I did while filming Dark Angel. That's made me strong and really set the bar," Jessica told Shape. "If you can just do it two or three times a week, a little bit of exercise whether it's yoga or going for a walk or cycling class or something...go for it," she also explained to E! News.

The Italian edition of Vogue might not hold the prestige that it once did under the late great Franca Sozzani, but that doesn't stop Francesca Ragazzi from dropping covers starring a bevy of buzz-worthy talent. After all, names like Vittoria Ceretti, Madonna, Bella Hadid, and Sabrina Carpenter have graced the cover of the Italian fashion bible of late. Next up on the cover of Vogue Italia is Dua Lipa, who graces the September 2026 issue of the magazine. The British-Albanian singer-songwriter makes her Italian Vogue debut via the lens of the photographer Carlijn Jacobs. Shot on location in New York, the Grammy Award-winning star is styled by Imruh Asha, dripping in diamonds and rubies from Bulgari.
