For the Sept. 2 opening ceremony, hairstylist and makeup artist Dimitris Giannetos used Charlotte Tilbury products on Clooney, including the brand's Hot Lips 2 lipstick in Dancefloor Princess. A new PEOPLE breakdown lists the pink-nude lipstick at $39 alongside products for her complexion, eyes and cheeks ranging from $28 to $52.
Clooney paired the makeup with a custom black Tom Ford gown by Haider Ackermann and Cartier jewelry worth approximately $375,000. She was in Venice with husband George Clooney, who received the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement during the festival's opening ceremony.
Giannetos kept the beauty considerably softer than the architecture of the dress. He described the overall effect as "soft and ethereal," pairing warm skin and defined eyes with a muted lip and long brunette waves that he had shifted into a richer "blurred brown" shade for fall.
Vogue Italia identified Clooney's gown as a custom Tom Ford design in black silk taffeta. The column silhouette was shaped by narrow sculptural panels and irregular razor-sharp pleats, while sheer black georgette panels ran along the sides.

A Palestinian fashion designer says she nearly closed down her fashion brand until Olivia Rodrigo stepped in.
In a new interview, designer Yasmeen Mjalli told Vogue Arabia that her brand Nöl Collective, founded in 2020, almost exclusively imported natural fibers to create their clothes. She recalled the numerous challenges and hardships of creating new pieces in the West Bank.
Mjalli told the magazine she once ordered a shipment of naturally dyed handwoven wool for the brand's autumn collection, only for it to have been held and ultimately destroyed by Israeli customs. She said she made an attempt to source replacement fabric in Jerusalem, but her efforts were thwarted due to the army closing down roads out of Ramallah.
"I was genuinely like, maybe we should stop, maybe this is our last effort. I was just so tired," Mjalli said.

Donatella Versace is part of perhaps the most influential fashion family in the world. Alongside her siblings Gianni and Santo, Donatella built the Versace fashion house from the ground up. As the youngest sibling in the Versace family, Donatella was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, in 1955. Like her brother Gianni, Donatella learned the art of design from their mother, who was a talented dressmaker. After leaving university, Donatella supported Gianni during the launch of his fashion house Versace in the late 1970s — acting as his "muse and critic" before being given control of Versace's "Versus" line. Over the years, Donatella took on a more active role in the business; she especially led Versace whilst Gianni was battling cancer in the mid-1990s.

Dua Lipa has revealed the two pieces of advice she and Callum Turner followed on their wedding day.
The British pop star tied the knot with the Masters of the Air actor in Palermo, Sicily in early June, several days after getting legally married in a small civil ceremony at London's Marylebone Town Hall.
Opening up about their weddings in a cover interview with Vogue Italia, Lipa revealed the advice they decided to follow to maximise their enjoyment of the celebrations.
"The wedding day was magical," she gushed. "We received so much advice, but we decided to follow just two pieces of it: to experience the day as if we were guests ourselves and to constantly seek each other out in the crowd, never losing sight of one another. That way, we really have so many memories together."
Lipa and Turner began dating in 2024, and she confirmed their engagement in July 2025.
Elsewhere in the interview, the New Rules singer reflected on how finding love has changed her approach to songwriting.
