For the prestigious awards event, Nicole selected a breathtaking cream-colored column gown straight from Chanel. The sophisticated dress features an off-the-shoulder silhouette with a dramatic plunging V-neckline. Soft, white feather-like appliqués line the entire neckline and shoulders, adding rich texture and movement to the structured bodice. A tight, sculpted waist hugging her figure gives way to a sleek ankle-length skirt with a sharp thigh-high side slit that reveals her legs as she moves.
She contrasted the light cream gown with classic black pointed-toe pumps that grounded the soft color palette. Nicole accessorized her high-fashion look with statement diamond jewelry that caught the studio lighting. As captured in a viral studio video shared on an Instagram post, she showed off multiple large diamond rings across her fingers along with matching drop earrings. A slim black watch on her left wrist added a touch of modern sophistication.

Prince Harry reportedly wants Princess Diana's most iconic fashion moment to live on through Meghan Markle. Per a source, the Duke of Sussex wants her famous "revenge dress" to be passed on to his wife. The claim has reignited discussion about the late princess's legacy and Harry's deep bond with his mother.
Prince Harry reportedly wants to acquire Princess Diana's iconic revenge dress, with insiders saying that he feels Meghan Markle should inherit it. The dress in question is the black, off-the-shoulder Christina Stambolian gown Diana wore in June 1994 to a Vanity Fair party at the Serpentine Gallery in London.
On the same night Prince Charles admitted to infidelity in a televised interview, the late Princess of Wales stepped out in a daring, figure-hugging dress. The press instantly dubbed the moment her "revenge dress." It has since become a symbol of strength, independence, and reclaiming one's narrative.
Now, Diana's unforgettable black dress is heading to Sotheby's New York. The auction house will sell it on December 9 for an estimated $150,000 to $300,000. However, according to sources who spoke to Rob Shuter's Naughty But Nice, Harry doesn't see this as mere royal memorabilia.
"Harry sees that dress as a symbol of his mother taking back her power," they explained. "Diana wore it to clap back at Charles, Camilla, and an institution that had made her miserable. In Harry's mind, Meghan understands that story better than almost anyone."

TV's biggest night has brought us some of the most breathtaking and unique jewelry moments, from Zendaya's 17-carat diamond necklace to Sofia Vergara's 100-carat drop earrings.
In honor of the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, InStyle gathered the most unforgettable jewelry moments to grace the red carpet through the years.
When it comes to carat count, the term "less is more" no longer applies—just ask the stars who have graced the Emmys red carpet through the decades. Just last year, Sydney Sweeney sparkled in over 175 carats of diamonds from Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry. In 2024, the center stone alone in Selena Gomez's Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany necklace weighed in at a whopping 35 carats.
Of course, size isn't the only defining factor of a stunning jewelry moment—uniqueness is what makes a piece truly unforgettable. Take Kelly Osbourne's $250,000 manicure, which is still making waves over a decade later. Her polish, from luxury jeweler Azature, contained a cool 267 carats worth of black diamonds, as reported by Today. Or, maybe Billy Porter's 2021 look is more your style; he appeared in a peacock-like necklace dripping with nearly 50 carats of diamonds and over 34 carats of emeralds, according to Page Six.
In anticipation of the blinding jewelry moments that are sure to stun at tonight's 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, join us for a look back at the 15 most extravagant jewelry moments in Emmys history.

Amal Clooney met with Greece's president Konstantinos Tasoulas on September 10.
She wore a bright red Bottega Veneta skirt suit for the outing.
The lawyer previously wore the same look in 2017.
Amal Clooney certainly knows how to put together an unforgettable ensemble—whether she's walking the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival, meeting with global politicians, or simply catching a flight. And she's been doing all three this week. After a very stylish series of appearances in Venice with husband George Clooney, the lawyer spent a few days in Athens, Greece with her mother journalist Baria Alamuddin. On September 10, Amal met with the country's president, Konstantinos Tasoulas—and, naturally, she pulled together another pitch-perfect look for the occasion.

Emily Blunt reunited with co-star Meryl Streep for an unforgettable high-fashion evening in New York City. Attending The Devil Wears Prada 2 Wardrobe Auction, the English actress commanded total attention on the red carpet. Captivating fashion lovers and photographers everywhere, she proved once again that classic black gowns can deliver maximum drama, movement, and modern playfulness.
For the high-profile charity auction, Blunt wore a striking runway piece straight from Christian Cowan's Spring/Summer 2027 collection. Her long-time stylist Jessica Paster curated the monochromatic look, which expertly balances modest coverage with daring sheer texture. The top portion of the dress features a sleek, form-fitting black turtleneck knit with snug long sleeves. Below the hips, the structured knit stops, giving way to sheer netting completely covered in cascading black fringe tassels.
The floor-length black fringe moved with every step, while crystal-embellished Dolce & Gabbana satin sandals added a subtle sparkle beneath the hem. The sandals' crystal straps were occasionally visible through the swinging fringe, complementing the otherwise monochromatic look.
Posing on the red carpet, Emily shared a warm moment with legendary co-star Meryl Streep. Emily wrapped one arm affectionately around Meryl's shoulder as both actresses smiled brightly for the camera line. Meryl looked equally chic in a patterned silk dress, creating an iconic reunion snapshot that delighted fans of the classic fashion film.
Emily's glam team kept her beauty routine polished and timeless to complement the dramatic dress. She wore her warm blonde hair pulled back into a neat, slicked-low bun. Her makeup featured radiant skin, soft bronzer, subtle winged eyeliner, and a glossy berry-pink lip. By contrasting a simple long-sleeved turtleneck with an ultra-fun fringe skirt, Emily Blunt executed high fashion with complete confidence.

Spectacular goals, peerless technique and a true Nerazzurri heart: born in Belgrade on 11 September 1978, Dejan Stankovic celebrates his 48th birthday today. Deki spent nine years in Nerazzurri colours, from January 2004 to 2013, making 326 appearances, scoring 42 goals and lifting an incredible 15 trophies: one Champions League, one FIFA Club World Cup, five Scudetti, and the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana four times apiece. Those achievements also earned him a place in the Club's Hall of Fame, fitting recognition of his deep bond with the Nerazzurri. To mark his birthday, Internazionale Morning Club looks back on his Inter journey through the story of one unforgettable match: the 4-3 derby victory over AC Milan on 28 October 2006.
Take a moment to picture the goal you would most like to score if you were a footballer. Your first thought is probably the right one: a goal from the halfway line. Perhaps even on the volley. Now imagine not merely dreaming of it, but actually doing it. And then doing it again in a Champions League quarter-final. This is no dream. This is Dejan Stankovic.
And yet, on reflection, perhaps there was no single position in which Dejan Stankovic was irreplaceable. He could play anywhere in a flat 4-4-2 or a midfield diamond. Look at it just as objectively, however, and it becomes impossible to leave the Serbian midfielder out of any all-time Inter XI. Indeed, he is almost always there. He went straight into the Club's Hall of Fame in 2019, receiving more votes than any other midfielder.
It is difficult to name an aspect of the game at which Deki did not excel. We have already mentioned his shooting: there were plenty of goals, and they always seemed to matter. Four came in derbies, for starters. Two arrived during the 2009/10 Champions League campaign, helping Inter emerge unbeaten from testing group-stage encounters away to Rubin Kazan and at home to Dynamo Kyiv - two important steps on the road to Champions League success.
Choosing one defining moment is no easy task. It would be all too obvious to celebrate those two masterpieces from the halfway line - or, in truth, from even farther out. Their time will come. Instead, we have chosen another: a goal scored in a derby that all but confirmed a shift in the balance of power in Milano. After two decades in which the Rossoneri generally held the upper hand, from 1986 to 2006, the 20 years since have largely belonged to the Nerazzurri.

Princess Diana's iconic "revenge dress" could soon find a new owner.
More than 30 years after the late royal made fashion history in the black silk Christina Stambolian dress, the head-turning gown is headed to auction at Sotheby's.
Diana wore the dress to London's Serpentine Gallery on June 29, 1994, the same night her estranged husband, then-Prince Charles, publicly admitted to having an affair with his now-wife, Queen Camilla, in a nationally televised interview. The look went from simply being a daring dress to a statement-making piece, creating one of Diana's most famous fashion moments.
But as Sotheby's notes in its September 10 press release, the dress had been sitting in Diana's wardrobe for nearly three years before that unforgettable night. Commissioned in 1991 after Diana asked Stambolian for "something very special," the off-the-shoulder black silk design was a striking departure from the traditional royal wardrobe.

The UConn men's basketball program has an eventful 11-game history with Duke spanning six decades. The matchups have often featured some of the sport's most iconic players facing off in the NCAA Tournament.
Over the last few months, only one game from this decorated past has really mattered around Storrs, as Braylon Mullins drilled a miraculous 35-foot heave in the final seconds to erase a 19-point first-half deficit and lift UConn to an unforgettable win over Duke in the 2026 Elite Eight.
UConn released its 2026-27 nonconference schedule in an announcement Thursday afternoon, listing the Huskies' all-time record against each opponent and the result of the most recent meeting between the two schools. The Huskies opted to twist the knife in Duke's wound, quoting Ian Eagle's memorable play-by-play call from TNT's broadcast of the Elite Eight victory in the "Last Meeting" section of Thursday's announcement.
The quote reads as follows: "Get it in to Boozer, back for Sarr, ahead, Boozer, that ball deflected! And stolen by Mullins! Karaban, two seconds, Mullins, tosses it up…OOHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
UConn's playful ribbing attracted national attention, with ESPN, among other outlets, taking note of the schedule announcement. Duke is among several high-profile opponents on UConn's schedule, as Dan Hurley has opted to challenge his team with matchups against Michigan, Ohio State, Kansas, Virginia, Arizona and Illinois.

The monster tackle, the unstoppable dash, the curler into the corner: at FC Bayern there are and have been many players with unique abilities, who give us unforgettable moments. Such as Samuel Kuffour, who particularly shone against international stars. The Ghanaian defender made 277 competitive appearances for the German record champions from 1993 to 2005 and won 17 trophies with the club. Today, 3 September, he celebrates his 50th birthday – we wish him all the best.
Effenberg's strength of nerve to make it 1-1, Kahn's epic saves in the penalty shootout – those scenes from our Champions League triumph against Valencia will be remembered forever by many fans. Samuel Kuffour's contribution to the fourth Champions League ***** le might be less prominent. The Ghanaian centre-back didn't provide an iconic moment at the San Siro on 23 May 2001, but his whole performance over the 120 minutes in the Bayern back three is legendary. Like in all the previous knockout matches, he's on the pitch the whole time and intercepts one attack after the other. He closes the opponents down, throws himself into tackles and aerial duels and cuts out countless ***** . Having nullified Manchester United's Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole in the quarter-finals, and Raúl and Guti of Real Madrid in the semis, now it's John Carew's turn. The burly, 1.96-metre number nine iss barely in the game in the final. For someone of his relatively modest height of 1.78 metres, "Sammy" looks shoulders above. How does he manage to hold his own so well against the stars of his day? What characterises his defending?
Kuffour never shirks a tackle. He seeks them out, defends proactively on the front foot and puts his body on the line in a way that's rarely been seen in FCB history. Even in training, he was no different. "I hated training against him," reveals Giovane Élber, who played with him at Bayern from 1997 to 2003. Of course, this style of play brings with it a certain risk – he holds the record for the most sending-offs in an FCB shirt (eight). But fans and bosses are happy to forgive him for that. "When someone clatters into players like Sammy, then he can also make mistakes," says Uli Hoeneß. Especially since he always manages to focus in the big games.
A key component of Kuffour's game is his impressive athleticism. He has tremendous acceleration and agility, which allow him to hold his own even against technically superior players. Added to this is his exceptional jumping ability, thanks to which he easily holds his own in the air against opponents like Carew. Unsurprisingly, this also allows him to pose a constant goalscoring threat in attack, especially at set pieces. Six of his ten goals for Bayern were scored with his head. However, this does not apply to his most important goal – the winning goal in the Intercontinental Cup final against Boca Juniors in the 109th minute of extra time in November 2001. He scores that one with his right foot amid a scramble in the penalty area.

Aug. 31—The Spokesman-Review lost a legend over the weekend.
For many of us, we lost even more — an unforgettable friend and mentor.
When news broke Saturday afternoon that Joe Palmquist — a former longtime sports editor and managing editor at the S-R — had lost his battle to a severe lung disease possibly related to a bone marrow transplant nearly a year ago, tributes and photos flowed back and forth on a group chat that included more than two dozen colleagues.
Joe would have turned 67 in September.
"Couldn't ask for a better friend than Joe," wrote Jeff Jordan, the S-R sports editor who hired most of us, including Palmquist as his ***** istant back in 1988. "On one of those trying days Joe could lift your spirits and send you to a happy place with that wonderful, high-pitched mocking 'are-you-crazy' laugh."

Billionaire tech investor Vinod Khosla has been named the Seattle Seahawks' new owner behind a massive $9.6 billion sale on August 26th. Yesterday, Khosla, alongside his family, gave his very first press conference; it's fair to say it was an unforgettable introduction to the new owner.
The Seahawks are coming off a triumphant Super Bowl championship last year and look to maintain momentum by introducing their new owner to Seahawks fans. Rather, Khosla gave a perfect example of "what not to do during your opening press conference as the new Seahawks owner," Barstool Sports posted on X.
"I also happened to come to this country in '76 when the Steelers were winning the Super Bowl, so actually I was originally and still am a big Steelers fan. Also, little-known fact, but I still watch all the Steelers games too," Khosla cheerfully said.
Barstool Sports personality Hubbs commented on the matter sarcastically.
"Jack Bauer couldn't have gotten that information out of me if he had a gun pointed at my knee and was threatening my family's safety. Just no need at all to put that out there. Now, is it earth-shattering and detrimental that the Seahawks owner is a big Steelers fan? No, not really. It'd be worse if the Seahawks hadn't won a Super Bowl since losing to Pittsburgh in 2006, but thankfully for them, they have," Hubbs wrote for Barstool Sports.

There's no denying that Tim Curry was a master of his craft. The ultimate character actor, he brought to life some of the most unforgettable roles ever to grace the stage or screen, be they eccentric, campy, larger-than-life, or terrifyingly sinister.
The big reason why Curry was able to slip into these varied selves effortlessly may have been that he didn't feel the need to carve out a rigid sense of personal selfhood.
In a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, recorded only two weeks before his passing at the age of 80 on August 26, Curry told Turner Classic Movies host Ben Mankiewicz that throughout the course of his 50-year career "one of the keys" to his success has been "to not encourage an identity."
It's a counterintuitive idea, particularly today when identity has become such an important part of how people understand themselves and one another. We are regularly encouraged to define and stay aligned with some kind of "personal brand" via personality types, aesthetics, ****** ual orientation, zodiac signs, neurospiciness levels, political affiliations…you name it. Social media has this self-presentation as a near-constant part of daily life, inviting people to curate their interests, values, appearance, and opinions into an instantly recognizable public persona.
While there are certainly benefits, it often comes with the expectation that each person has a clearly defined, authentic identity waiting to be uncovered, articulated, and presented to the world.

Ahead of the new season, Miami Dolphins fans can rock some new merch that's part of a collab between the league and Disney.
The Walt Disney Co. is joining forces with clothing brand Champion on a collection that pairs all 32 NFL teams with characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.
The Dolphins were paired up with King Triton, Princess Ariel's dad, through a fan draft. And it may say something that the team, whose season is not looking bright, were paired with a C-tier Disney character.
"Around the world, millions of sports fans can likely recite the stats on the back of their favorite football card or relive a clutch touchdown from years ago as if it happened yesterday," Disney said in a news release last month.
"In much the same way, Disney fans can often instantly name their favorite character or top attraction, recalling so many unforgettable stories and memories shared with family and friends over the years."

Margaret Qualley brought high fashion to the outdoors in her stunning new cover story. Photographed by Talia Ryder and styled by Taylor McNeill for POP Magazine Issue 55 (Autumn/Winter 2026), the actress looked effortlessly glamorous. She effortlessly layered a shimmering designer look straight off the Chanel runway with her own relaxed streetwear pieces. Thus, her bold styling choices proved that classic tweed and sparkling textures can feel completely modern and cool.
For the Pop Magazine cover shot, Margaret Qualley sat outdoors while holding a small, adorable grey dog in her arms. She wore a striking ensemble from Chanel's Fall/Winter 2026 collection. Her outfit started with a classic tweed jacket. The jacket was woven with metallic gold, beige, and black plaid patterns. It featured vibrant red trim along the lapels and red ***** on details. The red accents also added a bold pop of color to the textured outer layer.
Beneath the jacket, Qualley wore her own bright red hoodie. The simple hoodie brought a playful street-style contrast to the luxury outfit. She paired the top layers with a blinding, iridescent metallic skirt. The shimmering skirt caught the light with rainbow-hued metallic tones.
What made the skirt stand out most was its daring silhouette. It was designed with not just one, but two dangerously high slits along the front. The double-slit cuts added plenty of movement and drama to the knee-length metallic piece.
With her long, dark hair draped naturally over one shoulder under the red hood, Qualley posed with a playful, candid facial expression. Her fresh-faced makeup and relaxed pose brought an easygoing, cool-girl vibe to the high-fashion Chanel look. Moreover, she pulled off a daring style risk with ease. By pairing high-end runway pieces with everyday wardrobe staples, Qualley created an unforgettable fashion moment that felt both bold and accessible.

Kourtney Kardashian and her kids made sweet memories during their "big family vacation" this month. On August 22, the Poosh founder shared a carousel of photos featuring her, her husband, Travis Barker, and their blended family. She gave a rare glimpse at her older kids, Mason, Penelope and Reign Disick.
Kourtney Kardashian enjoyed her time with her family during an unforgettable holiday in Utah. She also shared rare photos of her kids. In one photo, her oldest son, 16-year-old Mason Disick, stood on a rock formation while facing away from the camera. He was wearing a black tee with a graphic print on the back. He paired it with gray sweatpants and brown hiking boots. A blue backpack sat on his shoulders.
The mother-of-four also posted glimpses of her other kids having fun during the vacation. One video captured Reign Disick on the waves with a friend as they went tubing. The final slide featured Penelope Disick in a pink bikini set from KHY x Frankies Bikinis, a collaboration between her aunt Kylie Jenner's brand KHY and the iconic swimwear brand. In the clip captured from behind, Disick waved at her mother, who was approaching on a different boat.
One photo showed Travis Barker holding his and Kardashian's two-year-old son, Rocky Thirteen Barker, under an archway. While only the father-son duo's silhouettes were visible in the shadowy picture, it gave a peek at the little boy's long brown hair. In another photo, Barker's 20-year-old son, Landon Barker, could be seen lounging on a boat deck.
The 47-year-old showed off her curves in some pictures, donning several skimpy pieces from the KHY x Frankies Bikinis collection, including a leopard print set. She captioned the post, "big family vacation girl." Khloe Kardashian expressed her love by dropping a string of red hearts in the comments, while Kris Jenner commented with heart-eyes emojis.
