The superstar was due to tread the boards of the Barbican Centre next summer, alongside her former Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.

Pop star Ariana Grande has dropped out of what would have been her debut appearance in London's West End, the show's producers said Sunday, as a representative for the singer said she wants to take a "step back" from the public eye.
The 33-year-old Grande had been slated to star opposite her "Wicked" castmate Jonathan Bailey in the Stephen Sondheim musical "Sunday in The Park with George" in the summer of 2027 at London's Barbican theater.

Bayside High football opened practice July 28 before the sun rose as the Bears begin preparation for their third season playing in the Sunshine State Athletic **** ociation.
Last year, Bayside reached the SSAA Atlantic state playoffs for the second year in a row. It finished the season 3-8 after losing to eventual state champions American Heritage (Delray Beach) in the first round.
"I think we had a rough year. We went to the playoffs and played a really good American Heritage team down there. They're heads and shoulders above where we are. That's kind of our goal to be like them," Bayside head coach Billy Miller said. "We feel like in our program we learn from adversity. That's what allows you to grow. When we're able to do that and apply that to this year, we feel like it's going to pay dividends for us."
Miller said he's been pleased with the offseason program and the work the players have put in. The Bears will be young this season with only a dozen seniors on the roster. Consistency will be the key, according to Miller.
"There were flashes last year where we looked really, really good and then there were times that we just looked like we had never seen a football," Miller said. "We've got to find that consistency and teach kids that come in and stack days. It's easy to be good one time, but it's difficult to be good all the time. That's a learned behavior."

The Green Bay Packers will open the 2026 training camp under sunny skies at 9 a.m. July 29 with the iconic bike rides from Lambeau Field to Ray Nitschke Field.
It is a tradition for Packers players and some coaches to ride kids' bikes from the stadium to the practice field. Kids can line up with their bikes near the Oneida Nation gate on the east side of the stadium and should arrive early. The Packers and American Family Insurance also will provide five Dream Bikes, basically bicycles with sidecars. Kids chosen for the Dream Bike experience will receive a bike helmet autographed by the player who rides with them.
The National Weather Service Green Bay forecast is for sunshine with a high of 84. Umbrellas are not allowed in the stands, so fans are advised to have hats, sunscreen and water.
Training camp practices are free and parking is available in the Lambeau Field parking lot. It's a three-minute walk from the parking lot to the practice field.
Twelve of this year's 13 free public practices will be at Ray Nitschke Field, on the east side of the Don Hutson Center. All public training camp practices start at 10:30 a.m., but the time is subject to change and weather conditions. The 13th practice, Family Night, is at Lambeau Field and requires tickets.

The game against York was a perfect start to the 2026/2027 season. Class weather, a regiment of the red and white army and a strong display on the pitch. As one of the many that travelled, it turned out to be a great day and really got me looking forward to the games to come.
Despite being on the wrong end of the result during our clash with Liverpool, there were still lots of positives to take and it didn't dampen my mood.
In fairness, that was mainly due to the magnificence of Enzo Le Fée. Is it possible to be addicted to watching a footballer play? If so, I think I am. How on earth did we have him in the Championship?
Seeing the Lads in action just brings me so much joy — as I am sure it does to us all, and I simply can't wait for the start of the season and especially the first home game against Fulham. Hopefully some more bright sunshine, seeing some new signings in action and the Stadium of Light in full voice.
After knee surgery in April, I missed out on attending the last few games of the 2025/2026 season.

Linzer Athletik-Sport-Klub (LASK) have confirmed six new members of their squad in preparation for the new ÖFB-Frauen Bundesliga season.
LASK will be looking to build on a challenging 2025/26 season that saw them finish seventh in the table. Head coach Markus Eitl took charge of the club in January 2025 and will now look to put his own stamp on the squad. The former Vorwärts Steyr coach has now brought in six players in one large transfer announcement as part of his preparations.
Despite the obvious disappointments attached to finishing seventh, it was an improvement on the clubs ninth-placed finish in 2024/25. The club will no doubt expect a return on their investments in Eitl’s acquisitions.
There is a varying level of experience within the new group. The biggest coup is arguably Tea Kržnarić from ousted champions SKN St. Pölten. The Croatian left-sided midfielder has Champions League experience and won the Bundesliga in 2024/25. Kržnarić also previously represented LASK after joining from ŽNK Hajduk in 2022.
22-year-old Miriam Sterrer also joins the club from German club 1. FSV Mainz 05. The Austrian native has previously spent 6 seasons in the ÖFB-Frauen Bundesliga with FC Blau-Weiß Linz . Austrian youth international Dayna Sunshine Tuppinger has also joined the Linz based club after suffering a ligament tear in 2025 and will be looking to get her promising career back on track.

Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter AB de Villiers has revealed that Virat Kohli tried to convince him not to retire from franchise cricket before he stepped away from the game in 2021.

Speaking on TOI Sports' Bombay Sports Exchange Podcast, de Villiers said Kohli made an effort to change his mind, but he had already decided it was the right time to move on.

"Yes. He tried," de Villiers said when asked if Kohli tried to stop him.

The South African great retired from international cricket in 2018 after helping his team beat India and Australia at home. He continued playing franchise cricket, including for RCB in the Indian Premier League (IPL), before retiring from all forms of the game in 2021.

"I walked away from international cricket exactly when I wanted to (2018). We had beaten India and Australia at home, and I left on a high."

"Then I decided I'd continue playing a few T20 tournaments, travel the world with my family, take them to the IPL, to England for the Blast, to Australia for the Big Bash and a few other tournaments. When I finally felt ready, I called it a day (from franchise cricket as well, in 2021)."

De Villiers said retiring from the IPL was not a sudden decision and that he had been thinking about it throughout his final season.

"It took time. That thought stayed in my mind throughout the final season or so. Eventually, I simply went up to Virat and said, 'I'm done'," de Villiers said.

De Villiers also spoke about the pressure of playing in front of packed crowds at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium, where fans chanted his name.

"That can be draining as well. Those moments also bring sleepless nights. It's not all sunshine and roses. There are difficult moments too. The expectations and pressure you put on yourself can sometimes become suffocating. I've spoken about that before. I'm incredibly proud of what I achieved. But before big matches, I'd often struggle to sleep. I'd be so focused on making an impact for the team that I found it difficult to simply be myself. So it wasn't always easy," De Villiers said on TOI Sports' Bombay Sports Exchange Podcast.

Reflecting on life after retirement, he said the joy of success does not last long, even for the biggest players.

"Of course, I miss those moments. When everything clicked and the crowd helped me enter that zone, it was an incredible feeling. But success disappears very quickly. Every champion will tell you the same thing. You win the biggest trophy, and an hour later you're already asking yourself, "Now what?" Then your attention shifts immediately to the next trophy. You're never fully satisfied with those achievements. Having said that, I can now look back at those memories with enormous gratitude."
