Florida baseball coach Kevin O'Sullivan is getting a clearer picture of what his roster could look like as the games begin to count.
The Gators continued their unbeaten fall exhibition schedule Wednesday with a 7-4 win over the Ontario Blue Jays, with Nic Partridge delivering a three-hit night and Florida's bullpen stringing together seven consecutive scoreless innings. The performance gave O'Sullivan another opportunity to move players around defensively and evaluate a pitching staff that he believes has made significant progress.
O'Sullivan spoke with the press immediately following the exhibition about Partridge's breakout fall, Florida's defensive versatility, its emerging bullpen options and the development of several young pitchers.
Here's everything O'Sullivan had to say, with quotes transcribed from Gators Online's YouTube coverage.
I think they all did. Honestly, I think Brady (Snow)'s back was bothering him just a little bit, and I think he kind of tweaked something and didn't say anything. So I thought he threw good. I thought they all threw good.

Myles Graham has seen Florida's defense flash its potential throughout the season. The challenge now is making that version of the unit show up consistently.
The Gators took an encouraging step at Texas, overcoming a rough opening two drives before settling in and playing some of their best defense of the season. Graham said the unit gained confidence by playing aggressively, especially when Brad White dialed up the pressure, but still has plenty to clean up ahead of a physical matchup with Georgia.
There's no hiding what this week means to Graham. Florida hasn't beaten Georgia since he arrived in Gainesville, and as one of the veterans responsible for explaining the rivalry to younger players, Graham made his feelings clear: enough is enough.
Here's everything Graham had to say ahead of Florida's matchup with Georgia.
I've seen him grow since day one. The talent has always been there. It was just more of him knowing where to be, where to fit. I've just seen him skyrocket from the first day he got here.

Ford has now announced the cars, the colors, the concert, the cable channel and the charity fund for its Veterans Day Classic at Daytona. What it hasn't announced, at least in the material it has published so far, is how long the race runs or how a winner gets picked. That gap is the story, and it's why the lineup tells you more than the poster does.
The event is set for Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Daytona International Speedway, three days after the Cup Series finale at Homestead (here's how that November calendar stacks up). Ford is running it in collaboration with NASCAR, Blue Star Families, IMSA and HSR, according to Ford's own announcement. Twelve Ford Racing drivers will split into six teams, one for each branch of the U.S. military, all in Mustang Dark Horse R race cars.
Think about what that means. In a normal NASCAR weekend, Ford's pitch to its fans is simple: beat Chevrolet and Toyota. Here there is **** ody to beat. Every driver, every car and every logo on the grid is Ford, so the manufacturer has to build the stakes from scratch. Its answer is the military branch as team identity, and Ford says the teams are racing for bragging rights.
That is a smart device and a fragile one. A one-make race can't borrow rivalry from the paddock. It has to earn it in two hours of television, which is why the details Ford hasn't filled in matter more than usual.
Ford's lineup pairs the drivers like this: Army gets Joey Hand and Brad Keselowski, the Marine Corps gets Ryan Blaney and Ben Hobson, the Navy gets Logan Sargeant and Ryan Preece, the Air Force gets Frankie Muniz and Austin Cindric, the **** e Force gets Noah Gragson and Layne Riggs, and the Coast Guard gets Joey Logano and Ty Majeski.

We have hit the last week of the Tennessee high school football regular season. And like recent years, the TSSAA has split high school games to Thursday and Friday. So about half the state will play their Week 11 games on Thursday. The rest will play on Friday.
It's a chance to give teams better officials each day. But it also gives us a chance to see the TSSAA football playoff picture become clearer before the brackets are released Friday, Oct. 30.
Note: Games with asterisks are region games. Most games this week will be region games. And almost all games play at least a small part in determining playoff order.
Here are the TSSAA football scores for Week 11.

Gabriel Bonfim is trying to remain positive after his UFC Fight Night 293 main event was canceled nine days out.
With Sean Brady out due to a staph infection, Bonfim (20-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) posted a short statement on Instagram hours after the news broke on Thursday. The welterweight bout was expected to headline the Nov. 7 card at Meta APEX.
"As some of you already know, my fight was canceled," Bonfim said in Portuguese. "Sean Brady is out of the fight. He says he got injured. A week before the fight, he tells us he got injured. You can't really understand it, right? But God knows all things and we keep moving forward. And on Nov. 7th I won't be fighting, unfortunately. Unfortunately I won't be fighting. But I believe there will be news coming soon and we keep going. The goal is just one: to be champion and we keep pushing. Thanks, thanks everyone, appreciate it."

Sean Brady won't be competing in the main event of UFC Fight Night 293 due to a gnarly knee injury that forced him to stay in the hospital for multiple days.
Brady (19-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) was set to face Gabriel Bonfim in the Nov. 7 headliner at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, but was forced out due to an infection and fluid buildup in his knee. The welterweight contender hopes to keep the matchup with Bonfim (20-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) together, but isn't certain what will happen just yet.
Brady detailed the reasons for the fight's cancellation on "The BradyBags Show".
"So last week, Tuesday, I practiced in the morning," Brady explained. "Everything was going completely fine. By nighttime, I was going to do my next workout. I jumped on my bike. My knee was a little bit swollen afterwards. By 9 o'clock at night, I couldn't walk. So, that's Tuesday. Wednesday morning, I already knew because I've been in this situation before, like I've dealt with bursitis and sh*t, and I knew this wasn't bursitis – I knew it was an infection.
"So, I knew right away from dealing with my arm and my leg, the feeling that you get, it's just different. It's just a different pain. Like, I could barely walk. So, Wednesday morning, 6 a.m., first thing I do, I got to the hospital, and they start drawing blood, doing everything. They put me on IV antibiotics."

Three months after revealing plans that it would seek a jersey patch sponsorship, Wright State University announced a deal with Premier Health on Thursday, Oct. 29.
"Premier Health has stood alongside Wright State Athletics for years and this partnership is a profound statement of what that relationship means," said Wright State Athletics Director Brad Chandler in a press release. "All 14 Division I programs will now carry Premier Health on its uniform, connecting our student-athletes with the academic health system that cares for the families in our stands and across our community. We worked hard to bring the first jersey patch sponsorship in the Dayton region to life, and we're proud that it's with a partner that has always shown up for Wright State. This is about more than visibility. It's two Dayton institutions putting their names side by side and investing in the next generation."
The NCAA approved the use of jersey patches in January.
According to an NCAA press release, "Effective Aug. 1, all Division I teams will be permitted up to two additional commercial logos on their uniforms and apparel and one additional commercial logo on equipment during the preseason and regular season, with an additional commercial logo on uniforms and apparel for conference championships. The patches will be limited to a maximum of 4 square inches per logo."
The patches will debut on Monday, Nov. 2, when the Wright State men's basketball team plays Air Force in the Stars, Stripes and Flight Classic at the Nutter Center.

One of the most basic realities of the NFL trade market is that, when a team adds a key player during a given season, someone will be taking a seat.
In Seattle, the "someone" who will be leaving the starting lineup after the arrival of guard Quenton Nelson is Anthony Bradford. With Nelson taking over at left guard and 2025 first-rounder Grey Zabel moving to right guard, former starting right guard Anthony Bradford will move to the bench.
"It's not an easy situation," coach Mike Macdonald told reporters on Thursday. "I thought Anthony played good football for us, and he has, and he's earned a significant role on our team, a starting-level role. It's one of those 'through not around' type of things with AB that is not easy.
"There's no way to sugarcoat it, and he believes this when we say this, how much we love him. The guys love him in the locker room. He's a fantastic teammate. We don't expect him to be jumping over joy in this situation because that's not realistic, but he's going to be a great teammate and he's going to stay ready.
"We know how this league works. You're a play away from him playing every play again. It's not an easy situation, but he's a tough cookie, and the guys will have his back as well and we're behind him as well, but it's not easy."

UFC Fight Night 293 has a new main event.
Heavyweights Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Johnny Walker will collide in the Nov. 7 main event at Meta APEX in Las Vegas. The original main event was to be a welterweight matchup between Sean Brady and Gabriel Bonfim, but it was canceled due to injury.
Two people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. The news was first reported by Laerte Viana.
It's not the first time Cortes-Acosta (17-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC) has stepped in on short notice for the promotion. In November 2025, he traveled from Arizona to Qatar on three days' notice and finished Shamil Gaziev in 88 seconds. This time, Cortes-Acosta aims to snap a two-fight skid after back-to-back unanimous decision losses against Alexander Volkov and Curtis Blaydes.
Walker (23-10 MMA, 9-7 UFC) is 2-1 in his most recent three outings and is coming off a terrifyingly brutal first-round knee knockout on Oct. 3 vs. Mick Parkin. The win was his UFC heavyweight debut and bounced him back from a split decision loss to Dominick Reyes.

Brad Pitt has found a surprising lesson in survival, one that has little to do with Hollywood or the physical challenges of his latest film.
As the actor reflected on the painful period surrounding his divorce from Angelina Jolie while promoting his survival thriller "Heart of the Beast," he credited the people who helped him endure it.
Filming a wilderness survival thriller also gave him a fresh perspective on navigating personal upheaval, rebuilding his footing, and taking life one small victory at a time.

For Brad Pitt, getting through life's hardest moments was not about maintaining a polished public image or pretending he could handle everything alone.

Liverpool have developed a reputation for having one of the best academies in world football in recent years.
The club has the ability to show prospective additions a clear pathway to the first-team, and the Reds' senior squad has been littered with academy graduates in recent years.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Conor Bradley, Jarell Quansah and Coaimhin Kelleher are just some of the examples of recent graduates from the Kirkby to have become important parts of the team at Anfield.
The club have adopted the strategy of recruiting some of the world's most promising youngsters to the academy, and it is clearly working.
Lewis Koumas, Trey Nyoni and Rio Ngumoha have all established themselves as important first-team squad players in the early days of Andoni Iraola's tenure at Anfield.

Bears QB Caleb Williams isn't satisfied despite Tom Brady's praise appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Chicago Bears' star quarterback Caleb Williams made a winning return from injury, leading his team to another victory against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. His eye-catching performance earned high praise from NFL legend Tom Brady, but Williams himself remained far from completely satisfied with his outing.
During the broadcast, Brady expressed his belief that Williams had delivered the best performance of his professional career so far. However, when asked about Brady's ****** sment during the postgame press conference, Williams said that he still had plenty of room to improve.
"I didn't know I went 30-for-36," Williams said. "I've got to go back and watch the tape. Winning covers up things, and losing shows everything. We'll go back, be true tellers about ourselves, look in the mirror, and figure out what we need to fix and get better at."

A handshake agreement. That's the term I saw all weekend regarding the College Football Playoff expanding from 12 teams to 24 beginning next year, with ESPN remaining the sole rights holder. There are positives and negatives to the reported deal, and it was refreshing to hear discourse on both sides of the argument across ESPN's networks this weekend. That's something college football fans didn't get with the network's coverage of the Protect College Sports Act.
However, in the end, ESPN owns all the goods. Again. The network has been the exclusive rights holder since the playoff began just 12 years ago. Fans can debate whether expanding the playoff to 24 teams will diminish the weekly must-win stakes of college football or lead to the elimination of conference championship games for major conferences. One thing remains clear: ESPN controls the entire package. That raises a question: If the sport wants to expand on the field, why can't it expand how those games are broadcast?
The old saying goes, "Follow the money." After signing a six-year, $7.8 billion exclusive extension in 2024, ESPN received an exclusive 30-day window to negotiate with the College Football Playoff over expansion. That window expired, but a handshake agreement was reportedly reached in the days that followed.
As a result, FOX Sports, CBS Sports/TNT Sports/Skydance, NBC Sports, and others never had an opportunity to compete for the expanded package during that window. Has ESPN dominated college football coverage for generations? Of course. Is watching College GameDay part of the average fan's Saturday routine during the fall? Absolutely.
But imagine if the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL handled their biggest events the same way. Imagine if Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady were left out of the NFL's biggest games. What if Kenny Albert and Eddie Olczyk never got the opportunity to call the Stanley Cup Final?

Bills HC Joe Brady in awe of rookie's 'stickiness' in win vs. Raiders appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Buffalo Bills returned to the winning column after suffering their first loss of the season, handing the Las Vegas Raiders a 33-30 loss in Week 6 of the NFL season. While the spotlight largely remained on Josh Allen and James Cook for their heroic performances, Bills head coach Joe Brady made sure to highlight rookie cornerback Davison Igbinosun's 'stickiness' in coverage following the win.
During his postgame press conference, Brady praised Igbinosun's ability to remain close to opposing receivers and continue competing regardless of the outcome of individual plays.
"We were a little matchier today in coverage, and the stickiness kind of showed, and that's what IGB kind of does," Brady said. "And what I love about IGB is he just keeps playing, and they might take a shot, and he's going to go right back at it with the same mindset."

Julianne Hough channeled Mariah Carey for Dancing with the Stars Week 4. On Oct. 6, the DWTS co-host wore Carey's dress for the show's Week 4 theme night in honor of the Grammy-winning singer, and she also shared the backstory of how she got her hands on the glittery silver frock.
Hough, 38, addressed fans in an Instagram video ahead of the live show, explaining that she was in her makeup trailer listening to Carey's music and "transforming."
Hough flipped her long blonde extensions forward as she told fans, "I'm chatting about Mariah Carey and her dress that she wore in [2008]. And I am wearing it tonight because we found it on The RealReal."
"[Stylist] Brad Goreski is amazing, and he found it, and he was like, 'It might not be in that great of a condition,'" she shared. "Got it. It's like pristine."
Hough noted that she's tried to be more "playful" and "colorful" with her DWTS looks this season and admitted, "This dress would probably be something that I would look at and be like, 'I'm not wearing that.' But because it's Mariah Carey, she wore it. It's like a literal disco ball; we were like, 'This is perfection.'"

Julianne Hough infused her sartorial agenda with a touch of metallic glitz and a whole load of hair extensions this week. The Dancing with the Stars host was clearly feeling nostalgic for the noughties as she referenced Mariah Carey's style archives during the show's theme night dedicated to the singer's discography.
The host wore a vintage Roberto Cavalli silver mini dress that was originally worn by Mariah Carey in 2008. Julianne's stylist, Brad Goreski, sourced the piece on The RealReal. "He was like, 'It might not be in that great of a condition,'" she shared. But once it arrived, she saw it was in "pristine" condition.
The metallic number features a sleeveless design with a plunging neckline and figure-hugging silhouette. The garment is embellished with intricate silver accents that glisten in the light.

Gisele Bundchen is soaking up quality time with her family in New York City. The supermodel was recently photographed on a relaxed day out with her 13-year-old daughter, Vivian, and the two looked more alike than ever. Their easygoing style quickly caught the attention of fans online. From long, wavy hair to laid-back denim looks, the mother-daughter duo made a simple stroll look effortless. The sweet outing offered a rare glimpse into their everyday family life.
Gisele Bundchen and her daughter Vivian enjoyed a family day out in the city. According to an X post, Bundchen was joined by her husband, Joaquim Valente, and Vivian, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Brady. The group strolled down a leafy, sunlit street while fallen leaves dotted the sidewalk. Photos show mother and daughter chatting as they walked, with Vivian glancing toward her mom. The mood looked calm, cheerful, and completely unhurried.
Bundchen kept her look casual and comfortable. She wore a classic white tank top with loose, wide-leg jeans in a soft blue wash. A dark leather belt with a gold buckle added a polished touch. She completed the outfit with sunglasses, chunky sneakers, and a slouchy dark shoulder bag.
Vivian wore a cropped black tank top with relaxed, light-wash jeans. She draped a cream knit layer over her shoulders and carried her phone as she walked. Cozy tan slip-on shoes finished her outfit. Like her mom, she wore her long hair down in loose waves.
Known for making simple basics look effortless, Bundchen seems to have passed on the secret to Vivian. Both leaned into relaxed denim and a simple palette of white, black, and faded blue. Good jeans, a clean top, and comfortable shoes made for a stylish yet practical outfit for a walk around the city.

Dolly Parton's estate says yellow caution tape and barbed wire crisscrossed the steps to her nephew Bryan Seaver's front door as a process server was making repeated attempts to serve him with a lawsuit accusing him of using a "campaign of threats" to "extract money" from the late music icon's business interests.
Lawyers for the estate filed a photo of the alleged barricade as they urged a judge to deny Seaver's request for additional time to find a lawyer in the messy legal dispute. They also argued that Seaver's security company missed a deadline last week to challenge an emergency restraining order granted in the case, so the order should therefore be converted into a permanent injunction covering both the company and Seaver himself, as its chief. A hearing on the matter is set for Friday, Oct. 9, unless the court grants Seaver's request for more time to hire an attorney.

Tom Brady has an outspoken defender in Liz Jones, and Gisele Bündchen probably won't enjoy reading her argument.
The Daily Mail columnist weighed in on the former couple's divorce with a blistering opinion piece. By the time she finished, Bündchen's expectations, the fashion industry, and even her new husband had caught up.
Jones' column follows the release of Lars Anderson's Brady: "An American Story and the Price of Greatness." Published Sept. 29, the biography explores the personal costs of Brady's devotion to football.
The book has already broughtrenewed attention to Brady and Bündchen's split, which became final in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
"The picture painted of the Brady marriage has always been, until this new biography, one of the man who refused to slow down to be present for his family, while Gisele gave it all up, Princess Grace-styley, to be a Trad Wife,"Jones wrote.

Sometimes, when Taylor Swift turns up at Arrowhead Stadium, she has got that red lip classic thing that husband Travis Kelce likes.
Others, she's got that good girl faith and a tight little Versace skirt.
But no matter if she shows up to root on Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs in an oversized tee and thigh-high boots, a WEAR by Erin Andrews tank or a Balenciaga corset top, the 14-time Grammy winner never goes out of style.
And to be clear, no, she doesn't care if she's ****** off a few football-loving dads, Brads and Chads. Or if the haters gonna hate, hate, hate and think with all that money, she's dressed like trash.
