In 2022, then-Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was suspended six games for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drugs policy. The decision helped derail a Cardinals' season that began with promise, as Arizona finished 4-13 and lost Kyler Murray to a torn ACL.
Four years later, Hopkins is launching a bold accusation, saying that his suspension was not what it seemed.
Hopkins published his message in response to an Instagram post from Tony Robinson, a financial well-being influencer, accusing former Cardinals general manager Steve Keim of being connected to a fraud scheme. It is not clear what evidence connected Keim to the scheme.
"I got set up when I played for his team and lost 13 million," Hopkins wrote. "Skeme Slime was my GM, contaminated drug test go figure how that happened."
Hopkins' comment now appears to be deleted.

The Dodgers fell 4-2 to the Diamondbacks on Sunday, finishing a 1-5 road trip with seven runs scored across three games in Arizona. They have now lost three consecutive series for the first time this season and are 70-48 heading back to Los Angeles.
It was another frustrating afternoon for a team that has struggled to consistently generate offense, and it started with the pitching putting them in an early hole.
Justin Wrobleski lasted just 3⅓ innings, his shortest start of the season. The Diamondbacks got to him immediately, with Ketel Marte launching a two-run homer in the first inning to put the D-Backs ahead.

Based on Colleen Hoover's novel of the same name, the film—which Lively and Baldoni starred in and he also directed—debuted in theaters Aug. 9, 2024. And while social media users sensed tension between the two actors after the premiere and press tour, fans never anticipated the contentious legal battle that started just four months later.
Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, his production company Wayfarer Studios and several ******* ociates in December 2024, accusing them of launching a smear campaign to ruin her reputation in retaliation of her voicing concern about ******* ual harassment she said she experienced on the film's set from him and others. Baldoni and Wayfarer's legal team vehemently denied the allegations.
Then in January 2025, Baldoni, Wayfarer and others filed a lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and her publicist in which they accused them of defamation and extortion. They alleged Lively seized control of the movie and worked to "tar and feather" them in the press after she received backlash for her promotion of the film. Lively's attorneys slammed the accusations.

After announcing plans to close hundreds of underperforming locations in the first half of 2026, a fast-food burger chain has revealed major changes across its business, including the possibility of additional restaurant closures, as it works to reverse ongoing declines in traffic and sales.

By Friday, the French Swimming Federation said the affected area had been treated, allowing athletes to return to the water and the event to proceed as planned.
High diving concludes Saturday with the final two rounds and medal events, while the broader European Aquatics Championships run through Aug. 16.
"There are things that are within our control, and there are uncertainties that are inevitably linked to any outdoor activity," said Maxime Sauvage, Paris deputy mayor in charge of sports, sports facilities and equal access to sport.
Among the things within the city's control, he said, are the massive investments made before the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games to make the river safe for swimming, from work to prevent sewage from flowing directly into the Seine to improvements in stormwater management.

NEW DELHI: Fresh from becoming the highest run-scorer in men's T20 cricket, England star Jos **** ler has already named the player he believes could eventually take the record away from him — 15-year-old Indian batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.

Buttler scripted history on Wednesday during Manchester Super Giants' emphatic nine-wicket win over Welsh Fire in The Hundred, smashing an unbeaten 51 off just 20 **** to surpass West Indies legend Kieron Pollard and climb to the top of the all-time T20 run charts.

But while celebrating the milestone, the England wicketkeeper-batter looked to the future and singled out Sooryavanshi as the player most likely to rewrite history.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, **** ler admitted the achievement was special but acknowledged that records are meant to be broken.

"It's really cool, actually, to think you've got the most T20 runs out of anyone. Someone will surpass it one day - and his name's probably [Vaibhav] Sooryavanshi - but it's a proud moment," **** ler said.

The praise comes after Sooryavanshi's meteoric rise over the past year. The teenage prodigy recently starred in India's 3-0 T20I series sweep over Zimbabwe, scoring 151 runs in three matches to claim his maiden Player of the Series award.

Earlier this year, he had also lit up the ICC Men's Under-19 Cricket World Cup, amassing 439 runs to finish as the tournament's leading scorer and earn the Player of the Tournament honour, further cementing his reputation as one of world cricket's brightest young talents.

Electric vehicles are now a mainstream product in many markets, China has become the global center of EV innovation, and conversations around climate change have entered a more fractious mode. The newest electric racing championship, E1, finds itself entering the market at a very different moment. The series, featuring all-electric hydrofoiling RaceBird boats competing in waterfront cities around the world, still promotes clean technology, but its leadership increasingly believes that sustainability is no longer enough to capture public attention. Instead, E1's future may depend on demonstrating that electric propulsion simply delivers a better experience. I talked to E1 (and Formula E) founder Alejandro Agag, Sports.com Predict Team Miami pilots Timmy Hansen and Rianna O'Meara-Hunt, and Sports.com Predict Team Miami team principal Steve Curtis. They described a championship that is rapidly evolving from an environmental showcase into one of the world's most technically fascinating forms of motorsport.
Agag has spent much of his career launching new forms of electric motorsport. Having founded Formula E before turning his attention to Extreme E and now E1, he has witnessed first-hand how attitudes towards electrification have changed. "When we launched Formula E electric was the future," says Agag. "Manufacturers were going full electric. Mercedes came in, BMW, and Audi."
Today, Agag believes the public conversation has moved on. "Sustainability has really lost a lot of its attraction, which is a pity, because the climate problem has not changed, it's worse than before," says Aga. "Activists have been incredibly bad for the cause. To destroy a piece of art or to block a highway has exactly the opposite effect. It really repels people. It produces a divorce between the public and sustainability, because those activists wrongly embody environmentalism."

Aaron Rodgers is at training camp for what will be his final NFL season. But once the future Hall of Famer leaves football, he seems to be prepared for a new chapter of his life with his family involved.
He credits his wife, Brittani, for that.
Rodgers had been estranged from his family since at least 2016 when the rocky relationship was put into the public domain during JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette. Rodgers' brother, Jordan, competed on the show and spoke on that estrangement.
That all changed two weeks ago when Rodgers posted photos with his parents and brother, Luke, for the first time since launching an Instagram account in 2017. Jordan was not included in the post.

However, the expansion of his entourage in recent days is reported to have slowed down negotiations, whilst ever-increasing transfer fees are reportedly being demanded for the player.
This is a situation from which PSG could well benefit, as they are aware of Diomandé's interest in their project and his strong desire to play under Luis Enrique. Whilst nothing is yet certain, the Parisians may nevertheless be tempted by the prospect of launching a final push in the coming hours – provided, that is, that Real Madrid do not manage to finalise the deal first.

Tesla reported second-quarter revenue of $28.24 billion, up 26% year over year, while executives highlighted progress toward launching production of the Tesla Semi Class 8 electric truck at its Nevada manufacturing facility.
Austin, Texas-based Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA) released its second-quarter earnings and held a conference call with ******* ysts after the market closed on Wednesday.
The company generated $20.5 billion in automotive revenue during the quarter, delivered a record 480,126 vehicles worldwide and reported diluted earnings per share of 32 cents.
Operating income totaled $398 million, reflecting higher research and development spending in artificial intelligence, robotics, battery manufacturing and commercial vehicle production.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the company is entering what they described as its largest investment cycle, with spending focused on expanding manufacturing capacity across several businesses, including the Tesla Semi program.
