"WWE Raw" is in Mexico City at Arena CDMX this Monday, Sept. 14, following AAA TripleMania weekend. After winning his way through WWE's No. 1 contender luchador tournament, Penta finally gets his shot at the World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns in a true spectacle match for the promotion's weekly programming.
Reigns has been embroiled in matters between Solo Sikoa and LA Knight as of late, but his next challenger is former the Intercontinental Champion. South American wrestling fans have already been treated to plenty of excitement over the past week, as WWE delivered a surprise ******* le change when Stephanie Vaquer dethroned Women's World Champion Liv Morgan in her home of Chile. Penta will look to do the same tonight.
Speaking of Intercontinental Champions, the man who dethroned Penta, Chad Gable, will defend his crown tonight against Dragon Lee. Gable has consistently shown respect for luchadors since returning from his run as El Grande Americano. Considering the chemistry he's had with all involved, this match is sure to deliver.
More Money In the Bank qualifier matches are also set to take place on "Raw." On the men's side, Je'Von Evans and Big Cass go at it once again, this time with World Tag Team Champion Austin Theory in the mix. The women's match will feature the debuting Lola Vice, as she battles fellow former NXT star Kelani Jordan and the current Women's Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez.

Sands Capital, an investment management company, released its "Sands Capital Select Growth Fund" Q2 2026 investor letter. The letter can be downloaded here. Select Growth Fund targets U.S. businesses driving significant structural change through disruptive innovation. The fund returned 23.2% in the quarter, outperforming the Russell 1000 Growth Index's 16.7%. U.S. large-cap growth equities rebounded sharply, driven by improving corporate fundamentals and renewed investor confidence in AI, despite geopolitical uncertainties. However, the market's gains were narrow, concentrated among AI beneficiaries. The portfolio's success stemmed from strength in AI infrastructure holdings, especially memory and storage, supported by better pricing and tightening supply. As AI development advances, continuous demand for compute capacity is expected, prompting investments in memory, CPUs, AI chips, and semiconductor manufacturing to address emerging bottlenecks essential for scaling AI. Also, check the fund's top five holdings to see its best picks in 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Sands Capital Select Growth Fund highlighted Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE), a US-based financial services company that provides technology, data, and market infrastructure to financial institutions, corporations, and government entities. On September 1, 2026, Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) closed at $159.60 per share. Over the past month, Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) returned 4.85%, while its shares have declined 10.30% in the last 52 weeks. Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) has a market capitalization of $89.6 billion, and its stock has traded within a 52-week range of $121.79 to $177.00.
Sands Capital Select Growth Fund stated the following regarding Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) is one of the world's largest operators of financial exchanges and clearinghouses. Shares declined as investor concerns around AI disruption in ICE's Mortgage business and potential competition from perpetual futures contracts weighed on the stock. Much of the underperformance appears to reflect multiple compression rather than a weakening of fundamentals, which remain solid. In our view, the market is overestimating the risk that AI will displace ICE Mortgage. The business is not simply a workflow solution; it is a platform that connects lenders, data vendors, and other participants required to originate, sell, and service mortgages, while also serving as a system of record for a significant portion of the U.S. mortgage ecosystem. We also believe concerns around perpetual futures competition are overstated, as the structure of these products may limit their use in institutional hedging and risk management, particularly before accounting for liquidity. As such, we believe the recent sell-off more than discounts these risks."

The monster tackle, the unstoppable dash, the curler into the corner: at FC Bayern there are and have been many players with unique abilities, who give us unforgettable moments. Such as Samuel Kuffour, who particularly shone against international stars. The Ghanaian defender made 277 competitive appearances for the German record champions from 1993 to 2005 and won 17 trophies with the club. Today, 3 September, he celebrates his 50th birthday – we wish him all the best.
Effenberg's strength of nerve to make it 1-1, Kahn's epic saves in the penalty shootout – those scenes from our Champions League triumph against Valencia will be remembered forever by many fans. Samuel Kuffour's contribution to the fourth Champions League ***** le might be less prominent. The Ghanaian centre-back didn't provide an iconic moment at the San Siro on 23 May 2001, but his whole performance over the 120 minutes in the Bayern back three is legendary. Like in all the previous knockout matches, he's on the pitch the whole time and intercepts one attack after the other. He closes the opponents down, throws himself into tackles and aerial duels and cuts out countless ***** . Having nullified Manchester United's Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole in the quarter-finals, and Raúl and Guti of Real Madrid in the semis, now it's John Carew's turn. The burly, 1.96-metre number nine iss barely in the game in the final. For someone of his relatively modest height of 1.78 metres, "Sammy" looks shoulders above. How does he manage to hold his own so well against the stars of his day? What characterises his defending?
Kuffour never shirks a tackle. He seeks them out, defends proactively on the front foot and puts his body on the line in a way that's rarely been seen in FCB history. Even in training, he was no different. "I hated training against him," reveals Giovane Élber, who played with him at Bayern from 1997 to 2003. Of course, this style of play brings with it a certain risk – he holds the record for the most sending-offs in an FCB shirt (eight). But fans and bosses are happy to forgive him for that. "When someone clatters into players like Sammy, then he can also make mistakes," says Uli Hoeneß. Especially since he always manages to focus in the big games.
A key component of Kuffour's game is his impressive athleticism. He has tremendous acceleration and agility, which allow him to hold his own even against technically superior players. Added to this is his exceptional jumping ability, thanks to which he easily holds his own in the air against opponents like Carew. Unsurprisingly, this also allows him to pose a constant goalscoring threat in attack, especially at set pieces. Six of his ten goals for Bayern were scored with his head. However, this does not apply to his most important goal – the winning goal in the Intercontinental Cup final against Boca Juniors in the 109th minute of extra time in November 2001. He scores that one with his right foot amid a scramble in the penalty area.

MD Sass, a boutique ******* et management firm, published its second-quarter investor update for its flagship, the "MD Sass Concentrated Value Strategy." The letter can be downloaded here. In the first half of 2026, AI infrastructure stocks led the market, with the Russell 1000 Value increasing by 16.3%, outpacing the S&P 500 (10.2%) and Russell 1000 Growth (5.3%). This growth was fueled by semiconductor, memory, and hardware companies benefiting from AI development, even though they are considered cyclical. These sectors, representing only 7.7% of the Russell 1000 Value at the start of the year, contributed nearly 70% of its returns. The portfolio gained 10.0% in the second quarter, net of fees, compared to 13.9% for the Russell 1000 Value Index. Year-to-date, the strategy returned 6.6%, net of fees, versus 16.3% for the Index. The portfolio faced challenges due to limited exposure to companies with the greatest upside from AI infrastructure investments. It also lacked exposure to the Energy sector, which returned about 20% in the first half amid geopolitical tensions with Iran that increased commodity prices, affecting performance. The firm recognizes the importance of adapting its strategies while maintaining core investment principles as it explores future opportunities in emerging technological themes. Also, check the fund's top five holdings to see its best picks in 2026.

On August 21, Apollo Global Management (NYSE:APO) disclosed in a letter that hackers gained unauthorized access to some of its cloud platforms between July 6 and July 10, exposing names, dates of birth, addresses, and Social Security numbers. The breach lands weeks after Apollo told investors its **** ets under management had crossed $1 trillion for the first time, a milestone built in part on convincing individuals and retirees to trust the firm with their money. Now Apollo has to convince some of those same people it can protect their data too.
Apollo's second quarter showed why the growth story still has legs. **** ets under management reached $1.05 trillion, up 25% year over year, while fee-related earnings hit a record $785 million, also up 25%, and management fees climbed 23% as third-party money kept arriving across credit and equity strategies. Origination volume totaled $74 billion for the quarter, pushing the trailing 12-month figure to nearly $320 billion, and that tally does not yet include the $35 billion financing Apollo arranged for Broadcom's new AI computing platform, the largest private credit deal ever recorded, since Apollo only books revenue once financing closes rather than when it is announced.
CEO Marc Rowan frames Apollo's opportunity as bigger than private equity or credit alone. He argues the industry's client base is expanding from a single source of institutional demand into six categories, including individuals, insurance companies and 401(k) plans, and Apollo is building toward that shift with daily net **** et value pricing on its credit products and a partnership with Intercontinental Exchange that has already **** igned more than 2,000 identifiers to Apollo **** ets. Performance backs up the pitch: Apollo's Fund X has generated a 21% net internal rate of return, well ahead of the 14% industry benchmark for its 2023 vintage.
The breach is the more immediate problem, and it fits a pattern. Reuters has reported that dozens of financial institutions, including Uber and Levi Strauss, were recently targeted by the same kind of ransom-seeking hackers, who built fake websites designed to steal passwords from employees at private equity and financial firms through phone-based social engineering rather than any technical exploit. Apollo says its investigation is ongoing and it has found no evidence yet that the stolen information has been posted publicly or used for identity theft, and it is offering affected individuals free credit monitoring and identity protection.

The fund invests in high-quality, wealth-generating businesses managed by prudent and capable teams, targeting an annual return of 8–12% after fees over a 5–7-year market cycle. During the June quarter, international equity markets, as represented by the MSCI AC World Accumulation Index ex Australia, returned 13.8% in AUD terms. In local currencies, the return 15.1%. The Portfolio's Class A (Unhedged) returned 5.7% after fees, underperforming its benchmark by 8.1%, while the Class C (Hedged) gained 6.7%, 8.4% less than its benchmark. The June quarter continued to reflect an unusual year, marked by significant share price increases among AI infrastructure companies, particularly semiconductor producers and data center suppliers. Economic sectors like banks and commodity producers saw gains, but the firm chose not to invest due to their cyclicality and low growth prospects. Conversely, concerns about enterprise software and data companies, challenged by AI, negatively impacted performance. The letter outlined potential incremental opportunities for portfolio companies through AI. Additionally, reviewing the Fund's top five holdings could help identify its best picks for 2026.
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, Aoris Investment Management highlighted InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (NYSE:IHG). InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (NYSE:IHG) is a leading hospitality company owns, manages, franchises, and leases hotels globally. On August 21, 2026, InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (NYSE:IHG) closed at $159.91 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $23.55 billion. InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (NYSE:IHG) posted a one‑month return of 0.25%, while its shares gained 32.18% over the past 52 weeks.
Aoris Investment Management stated the following regarding InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (NYSE:IHG) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (NYSE:IHG) is a brand owner and franchisor of global hotel chains, including Holiday Inn, InterContinental and Crowne Plaza. Hotel owners pay IHG a franchise fee in exchange for access to its brands, loyalty program, and IT systems to help manage their properties, reservations and pricing. IHG franchisees earn better economics than independent hotels, which is why an increasing share of new and existing hotels are choosing to partner with IHG.
IHG's technology systems are a core advantage over smaller chains and independent hotels. AI can widen this gap through improvements in its search functions, booking process, customer service, pricing, marketing, and operational efficiency. For example, IHG is developing AI-powered conversational search to help guests book properties and receive more detailed information about its franchisees' rooms and services.…" (Click here to read the full text)

He argues the industry's client base is expanding from a single source of institutional demand into six categories, including individuals, insurance companies and 401(k) plans, and Apollo is building toward that shift with daily net ***** et value pricing on its credit products and a partnership with Intercontinental Exchange that has already ***** igned more than 2,000 identifiers to Apollo ***** ets.

Aoris Investment Management, a specialist international equity manager, released its Q2 2026 investor letter for "Aoris International Fund". A copy of the letter can be downloaded here.

Madison Investments, an investment advisor, released its second-quarter 2026 investor letter for the "Madison Large Cap Fund". A copy of the letter can be downloaded here. In the second quarter, U.S. stock market indices achieved their best performance since 2020, driven largely by a narrow group of Artificial Intelligence-related stocks. As in the pandemic's early days, investors are fixated on who will benefit from AI, reminiscent of the late 1990s internet bubble. Against this backdrop, The Madison Large Cap Fund (class I) returned 8.4% in the second quarter of 2026, compared to a 15.2% increase in the S&P 500 Index. The current market's extreme narrowness is concerning, and history suggests this won't persist. While AI is reshaping society and the economy, today's winners may not remain so, and booms could lead to busts. Additionally, factors such as a volatile federal administration, growing budget deficits, inflation, high interest rates, and strained consumer finances will significantly impact the economy and stock market in the future. Additionally, reviewing the Fund's top five holdings could help identify its best picks for 2026.
In Q2 2026, Madison Large Cap Fund added Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE), a US-based financial services company that provides technology, data, and market infrastructure to financial institutions, corporations, and government entities. On August 19, 2026, Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) closed at $157.24 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $88.27 billion. Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) posted a one-month return of 9.75%, and its shares lost 12.30% over the past 52 weeks.
Madison Large Cap Fund stated the following regarding Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE), an operator of leading financial exchanges and ancillary data products, reported strong results in the quarter, but its stock has been caught up in the broad sell-off in ****** et-light companies that are perceived as "AI losers".

DHL Express has completed the $204 million expansion of its "super gateway" at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport in South China's Guangdong province, tripling shipping capacity to 992 tons per day and enabling more direct cargo flights.
The project represents the company's largest investment in mainland China to date, supporting cross-border trade and time-definite international express services in one of China's most important manufacturing and export regions.
A gateway in the DHL network is a regional connection point that links local service centers to the global network. Some shipments from producers in Shenzhen and trucked to DHL's main terminal at Hong Kong International Airport if they need to reach other intercontinental hubs.
Once at full capacity, annual throughput is expected to exceed 286,000 tons, about 10 times the volume handled by the previous Shenzhen gateway, according to the China Daily News. Construction of the facility began in 2022. The heavily automated facility features high-speed sorting systems, automated storage, robotic arms and automated guided vehicles designed to efficiently and safely unload, store, handle, inspect and monitor parcels and larger shipments.
Complementing the expansion of shipment processing capacity, DHL has introduced a new dedicated air route with a widebody Boeing 767 cargo jet linking Shanghai; Bangkok, Thailand; Bahrain and Brussels, Belgium, to meet demand for air cargo transport between China and key markets across Asia, the Middle East and Europe, DHL announced this week.

The Pentagon is drafting a new nuclear strategy aimed at giving President Donald Trump more options for using shorter-range nuclear weapons in a potential regional conflict with China or Russia, according to a report.
The classified effort, led by Under Secretary of War for Policy Elbridge Colby, would put greater emphasis on tactical nuclear weapons — systems intended for use against military targets in a regional conflict — rather than relying primarily on long-range strategic forces, NBC News reported, citing five people familiar with the plans.
The strategy is designed for scenarios in which China or Russia attacks a U.S. ally and Washington must determine how to respond without immediately escalating to a large-scale strategic nuclear exchange, according to the report.

Emerald Wealth Partners, an independent **** et and wealth management firm based in Zurich, released its Q2 2026 investor letter for the "Focused Equity Strategy." A copy of the letter can be downloaded here. The Strategy reported a 0.8% gross return for the second quarter of 2026. Equity markets rallied after the first quarter's Iran shock faded and oil prices reversed their spike, but the advance remained narrow and concentrated in cyclical semiconductor and memory stocks benefiting from supply constraints. The letter warned that investors were treating peak-cycle earnings as durable, while FOMO, IPO demand, and a US cyclically adjusted P/E ratio near 40 pointed to late-cycle market behavior. Long-term fundamentals are currently undervalued by the market, leading to underperformance in the strategy, notably due to the portfolio's avoidance of low-quality momentum-driven semiconductor stocks, which boosted the benchmark this quarter. It remains focused on enterprise infrastructure, digital platforms, custom silicon, and networking businesses that hold customer relationships, workflow data, distribution, and efficiency advantages, which could allow them to monetize AI rather than be displaced by it. Please review the Strategy's top five holdings for its key selections.
According to Emerald Wealth Partners Focused Equity Strategy's Q2 2026 investor letter, Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE), a US-based financial services company that provides technology, data, and market infrastructure to financial institutions, corporations, and government entities, detracted from the performance. On August 04, 2026, Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) closed at $149.20 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $83.76 billion. Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) posted a one-month return of 8.77%, and its shares lost 20.66% over the past 52 weeks.
Emerald Wealth Partners Focused Equity Strategy stated the following regarding Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"Intercontinental Exchange, Inc.'s (NYSE:ICE) 21.4% share decline knocked 58 bps from the portfolio's performance. ICE is emblematic of a broader group of high-quality businesses caught in a negative AI narrative largely disconnected from their underlying fundamentals. Nevertheless, ICE's shares declined alongside peers including Cboe Global Markets (CBOE) and CME Group (CME), amid concerns of a cyclical peak in earnings.

Our ***** ysts just identified a stock with the potential to be the next Nvidia. Tell us how you invest and we'll show you why it's our #1 pick. Tap here.
What do you do when you look up and realize that a rival has almost completely stolen your pre-IPO thunder? You ask private equity to justify a silly huge valuation, of course.
Polymarket is reportedly in talks for a fresh fundraising round that would value the company north of $20 billion, according to Bloomberg. If it closes, this would be the second markup in four months. Polymarket previously raised money all the way back in April at a $15 billion valuation, a round that included a $600 million direct investment from Intercontinental Exchange, the company that owns the New York Stock Exchange. That was already a lot of institutional money betting that betting on the future is itself a good bet.
Polymarket told CNBC in late June that its annualized revenue had climbed well above $1 billion following the May launch of its regulated U.S. exchange. Volume backs that up: north of $100 million in daily notional volume domestically, up from roughly $75 million at the end of May, with the international platform running above $150 million a day.

Franco Baresi was at the heart of it - undeniably so - when, 20 years after the Bernabéu, AC Milan were crowned champions of Europe once again, this time not in Madrid but in Barcelona. AC Milan 4-0 Steaua Bucharest (24 May 1989), the European Cup Final at Camp Nou, was yet another night when Baresi ran the defence with flawless tactical precision. His heart and leadership also left their mark - even from the touchline - in AC Milan vs Barcelona (18 May 1994), the Match of the Century.
That was the famous 4-0 triumph in the Champions League Final in Athens. Although AC Milan were forced to change their line-up after Baresi's suspension in the one-legged semi-final at San Siro, his leadership and organisation of the defence against Johan Cruyff's legendary Barcelona side (from within the dugout) remain one of football's greatest tactical masterclasses. Such was his passion, that even after the recent World Cup in the United States, the most iconic image of football in America is still that of Baresi in tears after the penalty shootout in the World Cup Final between Italy and Brazil on 17 July 1994 in Pasadena, California. Franco returned after a remarkable recovery, just 25 days after meniscus surgery, producing a monumental display in which he shut down world-class players such as Romário and Bebeto, coming agonisingly close to lifting the trophy before Italy's defeat on penalties.
HISTORY-SHAPING MOMENTSFranco Baresi was a master of last-ditch defending thanks to his timing, tactical intelligence and perfectly executed sliding tackles. A trademark "Baresi tackle" combined an instinctive ability to anticipate his opponent with an almost scientific reading of ******* e, excelling above all in recovery runs and seamlessly turning defence into attack. Franco seemed to read the flight of the ball before the forwards themselves - partly because he appeared born to do it, but above all because the fire that always burned within him was his determination to protect his beloved AC Milan. An AC Milan supporter only truly realised the team had conceded when they saw Franco's head drop. But then the game would restart, and moments later he'd be flying into another perfectly timed tackle, winning the ball cleanly.
Baresi compensated for his modest stature with flawless positioning. His legendary recovery on Carlos Aguilera during AC Milan's 1-0 win over Torino in December 1993, just days before flying to ******* an for the Intercontinental Cup Final against São Paulo, featuring Cafu and Leonardo, remains one of his defining moments. With an extraordinary burst of pace followed by a sliding challenge, the AC Milan captain made up precious ground to divert the ball behind for a corner, preventing what looked like a certain goalscoring opportunity for the Torino striker. With the score still in the balance, Baresi recovered two or three metres on Aguilera through a remarkable acceleration before diving like a hawk to cleanly take the ball from his opponent's

WWE SummerSlam Night 2 is here! After a wild Night 1, WWE returns to U.S. Bank Stadium to close out SummerSlam weekend with a six-match card that features four championship contests.
Closing out the show is the latest meeting between stablemates-turned-rivals Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Tonight marks the first singles match since 2022 between Reigns, who has been World Heavyweight Champion since winning in the main event of WrestleMania 42 in April, and Rollins.
A new WWE Women's Champion will also be crowned as Rhea Ripley has been unable to compete due to injury. Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green and Lash Legend will square off in a ladder match to be named interim champion as Ripley recovers.
Both of WWE's men's midcard championships are on the line as well, as Trick Williams defends his U.S. Championship against the newly returned Baron Corbin and Penta defends his Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable, who has parlayed his run as El Grande Americano into the most significant momentum he's had as a singles competitor.
The final two matches both have stakes attached, as Finn Balor and Sami Zayn will battle to become the No. 1 content for the Undisputed WWE Championship, and Danhausen and Dominik Mysterio will likely end the Judgment Day's feud with the popular star in a match where the winner gets $100,000 human monies.

WWE SummerSlam 2026 emanates from Minneapolis, Minn. this weekend, and betting odds suggest that most WWE champions will walk out of US Bank Stadium with their ***** les in tow—with the exception of one champion.
Chad Gable is a heavy favorite to dethrone Penta and win his first WWE Intercontinental Championship in his hometown of Minneapolis at WWE's biggest show of the summer. Gable is set to compete on Night 2 of SummerSlam where he will join fellow Minnesotan Brock Lesnar as amateur wrestlers with a hometown advantage, though Brock will compete against Oba Femi on Night 1.
Gable has enjoyed a redemption arc ever since coming up short in the 2026 Match of the Year against El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) at El Noche de los Grandes for the right to don the sacred mask and namesake. Gable's performance jumpstarted his up-and-down career, and was even replayed on Netflix following the June 1 broadcast of WWE Raw. With his heel persona behind him, and after conquering the dark arts of lucha libre, an unmasked Gable has made amends with Alpha Academy and former lucha opps like Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee and Penta, whom Gable will challenge for the IC ***** le after winning a No. 1 Contender's Gauntlet on WWE Raw.
Gable finds himself as the biggest favorite of Night 2 with -1500 odds per BetOnline, while Lesnar is the biggest underdog of either night with +900 odds to topple Oba Femi (-3000) in their rubber match inside ***** in a Cell.

Unreal is such a perfect name for the show.
WWE Unreal Season 3 is the latest pro wrestling curtain jerk highlighting the real lives, trials, make-up routines (so much make-up), injuries and wardrobe changes of today's World Wrestling Entertainment superstars.
Brief disclaimer: I'm a mark, a very happy mark. I was raised on Mid-South wrestling and the UWF. I have been to the Von Erich (Adkisson) gravesites. I have worn the face paint of my favorite wrestler. My college roommate can recite the history of the Brass Knuckles championships (yes, it was a real ******* le). I enjoyed it then. I enjoy it now. I will continue to enjoy it in the future.
While Unreal proclaims to break kayfabe – the old-fashioned term where we pretend like it's all real – in reality, WWE Unreal shows fans what WWE wants to be real.
