Clark, however, was limited to only 13 games played last year — which happened to be Sophie Cunningham's first season with the Fever. 2026 has given Cunningham an opportunity to see Clark's game on a more consistent basis, and one specific element of Clark's approach has especially impressed the WNBA veteran.
"I will say, yeah, she (Clark) didn't play last year and that was my first time really being on the team and being her teammate, but I really do feel like this year she is using her body so, so well," Cunningham said on her new podcast, No Hesitation with Sophie Cunningham Drew Hanlen. "Like she's strong, she's using the glass. Her jump-shots are going in and it's efficient and it's good for us. But I do think that, like, her body control this year has been huge."

Although the Kansas City Chiefs lost the preseason opener 20-12 to the Los Angeles Rams, the defeat produced encouraging performances and positive takeaways.
One noteworthy performance came from rookie running back Emmett Johnson, who delivered a strong effort when given the opportunity. Mostly operating with the second- and third-string offense, Johnson finished the game with 59 yards on 12 attempts, as well as 3 receptions out of the backfield. Johnson also had several positive plays negated by penalties, including a touchdown from roughly five yards out.
Johnson made a strong case to continue to receive opportunities as a complementary piece in the offense. He showed the talent to be another valuable option out of the backfield, along with last year's Super Bowl MVP and new Chief Kenneth Walker III. Johnson's efforts did not go unnoticed by his head coach Andy Reid.
"He did a nice job with it," Reid told local media in his post-game press conference. "He ran hard and aggressive, had some yards after contact there, which is a big thing. He was one of the positives coming out of this, I thought he did a nice job."

Earlier, on July 16, Micron completed Strategic Customer Agreements with a group of automotive Tier 1 suppliers, a smaller but telling sign that its customer relationships are stretching longer and becoming more predictable across more than one industry.
The automotive agreements, completed with Qualcomm, Visteon, HARMAN, JOYNEXT, DENSO, Astemo and Hyundai Mobis, give Micron greater visibility into future memory and storage orders as vehicles add more advanced driver ******* istance and in-cabin computing power. Automotive platforms carry long production lifecycles and strict qualification standards, so locking in supply and pricing years ahead reduces the kind of order volatility that has hurt Micron during past downturns.
The bigger driver remains AI. Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) has lifted its 2026 outlay target to $220 billion, and Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) plans a $200 billion budget of its own, money that keeps flowing toward the memory chips inside AI servers. That demand already shows up in the numbers. In the nine months ended May 28, the first three quarters of fiscal 2026, Micron's revenue reached $79 billion, a 203% jump from the same stretch a year earlier, while net income hit $47 billion, a 60% net margin, versus just $5 billion the year before. ******* ysts expect revenue to grow 247% this fiscal year and another 85% in fiscal 2027, and Micron has pushed customers toward five-year price agreements instead of the one-year contracts that once left it exposed to sudden price swings.
Micron's stock climbed nearly 690% over the twelve months before peaking in June, then fell about 30% since, a pullback that reflects investors growing less willing to pay up for growth rather than any clear deterioration in the business. Some of that hesitation is historical memory. Memory chip supply has caught up with, and usually exceeded, demand in every prior upcycle, and when it has, prices and profits have reversed just as sharply as they rose. Competition adds to the risk. Beyond longtime rivals Samsung and SK Hynix, the Chinese firm ChangXin Memory Technologies could start turning out high-bandwidth memory before this year is out, a development that may chip away at the pricing power Micron currently enjoys. Jul. 30—When 90+ Project Director of Programming and Coach Aaron Lewis asked the players at Thrive International's youth summer soccer camp how many of them weren't born in the United States, dozens of hands shot up.
Sitting in the grass at Franklin Park, those same players watched as four out of the five Spokane Velocity players who were visiting camp Thursday raised their hands, too.
"You're my GOAT," 9-year-old Mel Akon later told Velocity left-backer Moses Mensah while the kids collected autographs on soccer ****** , cleats and posters. "One day I'm gonna look like you and be like you."
"I want to see that," Mensah, originally from Ghana, answered without hesitation.
The annual youth soccer camp is run through a partnership with refugee resettlement organization Thrive International and sports-based youth development organization 90+ Project. This year, close to 200 kids, including kindergartners to 12th graders, from more than a dozen nationalities, arrived at Franklin Park to play soccer.

"I feel for Denise because she's been put in that situation by a lot of people. Then when you see them face off, Dakota's huge for the weight. "I'm sure she's 100 percent feeling great, but there's always that little bit of hesitation when you're coming back from an injury, like, 'How is this going to work out?'
