Josh Hazlewood made a strong return to Test cricket after more than a year, taking six wickets in Australia's first innings against Bangladesh in Darwin. He bowled 28 overs and conceded 89 runs, taking two wickets on Day 2 before claiming four more on Saturday.
The performance took Hazlewood's Test wicket tally to 301, making him only the ninth Australian bowler to reach the 300-wicket mark.

The first Test at Marrara Stadium in Darwin will be Bangladesh's first Test tour of Australia in more than 20 years. It also starts a 12-month period in which Australia are scheduled to play at least 20 Tests, including series against South Africa, India and England.
Australia are set to bring back their main bowling attack, with Pat **** mins, Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon returning from injuries. Mitchell Starc is also in the side.
Injuries have meant the four have rarely played together in recent series. Hazlewood's expected return means Scott Boland will miss out, while allrounders Cameron Green and Beau Webster are also in the starting XI.
"We know Scotty's class, it is always a pretty tight call," **** mins said at a press conference on Wednesday. "There is not much you can say to Scotty except there is a lot of cricket coming up.
"He knows his worth, and how good he is, and I am sure he will be out there at some point pretty soon."
Australia's bowling attack looks settled, but there are questions over the batting order.
Jake Weatherald, the first Test player from Australia's Northern Territory, has kept his place after Australia's Ashes win over England last season despite his recent form. He is expected to open with Travis Head.

Bangladesh were bowled out for just 54 in their second innings to lose their three-day tour match against a Cricket Australia XI by an innings and 38 runs, giving Australia's bowling attack plenty to take note of ahead of next week's first Test in Darwin.
Campbell Thompson was the main contributor to Bangladesh's collapse, taking eight wickets for 25 runs in the second innings at Marrara Oval. The 22-year-old left-arm fast bowler had taken two wickets late on Friday before returning on Saturday morning to claim six more as Bangladesh lost eight wickets for 35 runs.
Marrara Oval, where the tour match was played, is different from Marrara Stadium, which will host the first Test from Thursday.
Thompson made his South Australia debut last summer and has played only one Sheffield Shield match and two One-Day Cup games. He had, however, faced international opposition previously when he represented the Prime Minister's XI against the England Lions in November last year.
Bangladesh began the third morning at 15 for two in their second innings but lasted only 17 more overs. Opener Tanzid Hasan was the only batter to reach double figures, scoring 22.

Uruguay were the only South American team not to make it out of the group stage, in what was a very disappointing campaign from La Celeste. They had a decent squad and a favourable draw. However, the local media heading into the tournament were talking about the breakdown in internal cohesion, and those concerns were evident straight away against Saudi Arabia, who controlled much of the first half and deservedly took the lead through Abdulelah Al-Amri just before half-time.
Despite all the criticism of coach Marcelo Bielsa, it was his changes at half-time, taking off Matias Viña and Darwin Núñez, and bringing on Juan Sanabria and Agustín Canobbio, that changed the balance of the second half. Uruguay pretty much dominated after the break and were unlucky not to win the game. They found an equaliser through Maximiliano Araújo, who was definitely one of the bright sparks for La Celeste throughout the tournament.
However, they just didn't kick on from that performance.
Against Cape Verde in the second match, they were well off the mark. Kevin Pina opened the scoring for Cape Verde before Uruguay turned the game around through Maximiliano Araújo and Canobbio. However, their lead was cancelled out in the second half as Helio Varela equalised for Cape Verde, earning what was probably a deserved point.

A signing we're always linked with but I don't want... Bart Verbruggen. Yes, we need a new first-choice goalkeeper but this guy seems to make a lot of unforced errors.
Paul: We are crying out for a proper number nine so I would take Dusan Vlahovic on a free as he is exactly that and still young enough with his best years ahead. The player we have been constantly linked who I would not want us to sign is Manuel Ugarte - he can't get a game at Manchester United so why would he get a game with us?

Mohamed Salah needs replacing, certainly, and Liverpool lacked production from out wide even before his exit. A winger will be a priority.
However, top-target Yan Diomande said no and now the Reds are shopping in a sub-par market. It means that finding a 'tide over' option who can see Liverpool through another season before reassessing makes a lot of sense, especially if a bargain can be found.
Liverpool will want an option with potential and who could play more of a squad role, rather than a leading man. Exactly who ticks those boxes, however, will be hotly debated.

Liverpool made several alterations to the squad last summer.
Richard Hughes bid farewell to plenty of ******* le-winning stars - including Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Caoimhin Kelleher and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Deals were concluded for replacements and upgrades - including Alexander Isak, Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong.
Unfortunately for the Reds they got worse - not better - and slumped to a fifth-place Premier League finish. Those failures cost Arne Slot his job as he was simply unable to get the best out of his new signings on a regular basis.

It's estimated that 39% of business leaders have already made employees redundant due to leveraging AI, according to a 2025 Orgvue study.

Darwin Nunez has been linked with a sensational return to Liverpool.
Reports had claimed that the move would not be confirmed yet as Nunez is focused on representing Uruguay at the World Cup
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has now debunked the reports, stating that there have been no negotiation between Nunez’s representatives and the Reds.
He said on his YouTube channel: “My information is that those close to Darwin and those close to Darwin’s camp deny this information. They say there’s nothing ongoing with Nunez and Liverpool.”
Nunez left Liverpool for Saudi Pro-League side Al Hilal last summer, three years after his blockbuster move from Benfica.

JERA has taken delivery of its first cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Barossa Gas Project, operated by Santos, at the company's Futtsu LNG terminal in ***** an.
This shipment marks the beginning of LNG supplies from the Barossa field to JERA following the start of production at the project in late 2025.
Located offshore Australia's Northern Territory, the Barossa Gas Project processes extracted gas at the Darwin LNG plant before it is shipped overseas.
The project has an annual production capacity of approximately 3.4 million tonnes of LNG. JERA, participating via its subsidiary JERA Australia, is entitled to off-take around 425,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) of LNG in accordance with its equity share.
The inaugural cargo, carried by tanker the Sohshu Maru, arrived at the Futtsu terminal on 12 June.
