The first full week of trading in September didn't give Zscaler (NASDAQ: ZS) investors much to celebrate. During the shortened trading week that followed Labor Day, Zscaler dropped about 3%. This week, however, is a very different story, thanks to a firm providing an auspicious outlook for the cybersecurity stock.
According to data provided by S&P Global Market Intelligence, Zscaler shares were up 20.7% from the end of trading last Friday through 3:37 p.m. today.

Maintaining its outperform rating, Bernstein hiked its price target on Zscaler stock to $298 from $224 on Thursday morning. Based on Zscaler's closing price of $191.58 on Wednesday, the Bernstein price target implies 56% upside.
According to Thefly.com, Bernstein based its improved outlook on the belief that there's growing positive market sentiment toward cybersecurity stocks. In addition, Bernstein notes that cybersecurity stocks it had previously identified as "too cheap" are now reasonable valued, yet Zscaler is one option that still provides material upside.

Trump signed the legislation into law on Friday, the White House said.
LONDON -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday thanked President Donald Trump for signing into law a bill championed by the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, which allows for the expansion of sanctions on Russia related to Moscow's ongoing full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Trump signed the bill on Friday, the White House said in a statement, after the legislation passed both the House and Senate with strong bipartisan backing. The legislation "authorizes and expands statutory sanctions, tariffs and prohibitions on Russia and extends existing sanctions on Iran," the White House said.
The bill's passage came about two months after Graham died suddenly following a tear in his aorta. Graham had long been an advocate of U.S. support for Kyiv and more stringent measures on Russia and the regime headed by President Vladimir Putin. In 2024, Russia's state financial monitoring agency added Graham to its list of alleged "terrorists and extremists."
In a post to Telegram on Friday night, Zelenskyy thanked Trump for signing what he called "critically important legislation," extending his thanks to "all the senators and members of the House of Representatives who supported it."

Bogle, then a senior regional director of critical facilities operations at NTT Global Data Centers, oversaw seven operational buildings around Chicago and Virginia and a staff of about 150 people. After a transformer failed a test, Bogle had to find a replacement and coordinate a swap with the on-site managers — all without disrupting service.
Thankfully, Bogle found a spare, but his experience illustrates the importance of systems thinkers at data centers who know how to acquire the resources necessary to maintain data centers' high uptime expectations. Given supply chain limitations and a steady build-out of data centers, such expertise is more crucial than ever — and there are signs a labor shortage is underway, threatening Big Tech's artificial intelligence ambitions and the reliable operation of mission-critical facilities.

Some refiners in ******* an this week rushed to buy Oman's crude for earlier loadings after Saudi Arabia shut down its key pipeline bypassing the Strait of Hormuz, traders with knowledge of the purchases told Bloomberg on Wednesday.
Late last week, Saudi Arabia was forced to temporarily shut down the East-West oil pipeline following drone attacks launched from the territory of Iraq close to the Iranian border on Thursday. The shutdown of the pipeline is a precautionary measure, after the attacks resulted in a number of injuries, the world's top crude oil exporter said.
The 750-mile-long East-West pipeline became Saudi Arabia's vital oil route to bypass the Strait of Hormuz after the Middle East conflict started and Hormuz was closed to shipping traffic. Thanks to the East-West pipeline, the Kingdom has managed to re-route most of its crude loadings from the western ports in the Persian Gulf to the Red Sea port of Yanbu.
Apart from announcing the shutdown of the pipeline and condemning the attacks, Saudi Arabia has not officially updated the market either on the extent of the damage or the timelines for repairs.
The repairs could take three to five weeks, two regional officials briefed on the matter told The ******* ociated Press.

Travis Kelce passed Jason Witten on Monday night, thanks largely to a massive catch he brought down during the Kansas City Chiefs' season-opening win over the Denver Broncos.
Kelce caught a short pass from Patrick Mahomes midway through the third quarter of their 31-10 win at Arrowhead Stadium, and absolutely took off as fast as he could. After shedding one tackle, he had so much room to work with that he nearly made it all the way to the end zone. Finally, he was brought down inside the 5 yard line.
Naturally, Kelce was hyped.
The 36-year-old, who is listed at 6-foot-5, 250 pounds, nearly hit 17 mph at his peak during that run, too. In total, Kelce made it 59 yards on that catch. That eventually led to a field goal, which put the Chiefs up 24-10 at the time.
They added one more touchdown and rolled the rest of the way to secure the 21-point win.

Coming into Monday night, the Yankees were one win away from officially clinching a playoff berth. While that's obviously not the end goal of their season, getting into the postseason is the first step. They're now there.
Officially, the clinching came prior to the Yankees' game ending, as the Blue Jays losing to the Tigers was also enough to get the job done. However on the field, the Yankees got the job done too, eventually.
On the mound, Will Warren was pretty good but deserved better. He ended up going 5.2 innings, allowing two runs — both of which ended up unearned — on five hits and two walks. Thanks to some iffy defense and the offense struggling, he left the game in line for the loss, before the offense responded just in time. Thanks to a six-run eighth inning that included Aaron Judge's first home run since returning from the injured list, the Yankees flipped the game back in their favor. They didn't need the win to pop the champagne, but it still feels better to get in with it, as they downed the Twins 8-3.
After both teams failed to capitalize on some early runners, the Yankees broke the deadlock in the third. With two outs, José Caballero just cleared the left wall at Target Field for a solo home run, putting the Yankees up early.
On the mound, Warren was mostly very solid. He ended up giving up the lead in the sixth, albeit with some defensive miscues that weren't entirely on him. After Warren got the first out of the inning, Ryan McMahon let a Kody Clemens grounder through his legs for an error. Warren then got the second out, brining Josh Bell to the plate. Bell hit a liner to a leaping George Lombard Jr., who got a glove on the ball, but couldn't complete the catch. The ball got past him into center field, moving Clemens to third. That one was ruled a single as opposed to an error, as it would've been a very nice play had Lombard completed it.

Browns' head coach Todd Monken channeled his inner Dan Hurley in today's postgame press conference. After the Browns were thoroughly beaten and flat-out embarrassed by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Monken sent out a warning to the rest of the league.
In his opening statement, Monken said, "You better get us now," in reference to the Browns potentially not having much skill on their roster this year. Now, I am usually all for a coach having confidence and, more importantly, being vocal about it, but this may not have been the time or place for this.
The Browns were zero percent competitive on Sunday.
They showed a little bit of life for four plays on offense before they were totally incompetent on that side of the football, only to be coupled with a horrific performance on defense to boot.
If that game today were played 100 times, the Jaguars would win 99 of them, and that's simply thanks to the law of averages. The Browns were horrible today, and frankly, there is not all that much to be optimistic about going forward.

CBS announced Monday that the newly enshrined Pro Football Hall of Famer will make his debut as a CBS game ****** yst in Week 3, calling Raiders-Saints from New Orleans alongside play-by-play voice Chris Lewis and sideline reporter Amanda Balionis.
A radio ****** yst for the Carolina Panthers, Kuechly's stock skyrocketed in recent months as he became Netflix's top NFL game ****** yst after auditioning with Noah Eagle at NBC's Stamford, Connecticut studios in early July. Eagle said Kuechly's football knowledge was never in question — that much was obvious from his playing days — but what stood out during their audition, a mock call of a game from the previous season, was how quickly he got comfortable in the chair given he'd never done the job before. Eagle told Sports Media Watch that it felt like Kuechly "could see things happening before they happen."
He justified that faith in his Week 1 debut, as Awful Announcing's Megan Armstrong wrote that he dazzled alongside Eagle in Melbourne, with the reaction across sports media running overwhelmingly positive.
The streamer is expanding its NFL package from two games to five this year, including the opening-week matchup in Australia, a Thanksgiving Eve game, and a Saturday night game in Week 18, and Kuechly is expected to anchor most of that slate. Bob Mackie, the dress designer to the stars known as the "Rajah of Rhinestones" thanks to his legendarily glittery, flashy designs for the likes of Cher, Elton John, Bette Midler, Carol Burnett and Barbra Streisand has died at 87.
A statement on Mackie's Instagram page on Monday morning (Sept. 14) announced the news, reading, "It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Mr. Bob Mackie passed away today. He lived his 87 years to the fullest, fulfilling his dream of being a Fashion and Costume Designer, which is all he ever wanted to do. His genius and extraordinary designs will live on forever, continuing to bring beauty into this world."

India will look to seal the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan when the two teams meet in the second match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday.

India lead the series 1-0 after a convincing seven-wicket win in the first T20I. Afghanistan will need a much better performance to keep the series alive.
Afghanistan were in trouble early in the first T20I after losing five wickets for 43 runs inside the Power-play. Azmatullah Omarzai and Mohammad Nabi then put the innings back on track with an 83-run partnership.

Omarzai remained unbeaten on 64 off 44 **** as Afghanistan finished with 156/8. However, the total was not enough against India's strong batting line-up.

Arshdeep Singh was India's best bowler, taking 3/9. Jasprit **** rah also made an impact on his return to international cricket by picking up an early wicket. Axar Patel and Varun Chakaravarthy also took wickets as Afghanistan struggled to build momentum.
India made the chase look easy thanks to an explosive innings from Abhishek Sharma.

The left-handed opener smashed 82 off just 32 **** , hitting seven fours and seven sixes. Ishan Kishan also made a useful contribution with 42.

India reached 157/3 in only 13.4 overs to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Afghanistan's biggest concern will be their top order.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz was dismissed for a duck in the first over of the opening T20I. Afghanistan will need their top-order batters to give the team a stronger start and provide a platform for players such as Omarzai, Nabi and Rashid Khan.

The visitors have several match-winners in their squad, including Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Naveen-ul-Haq.

Captain Ibrahim Zadran, who is leading Afghanistan in his first series as full-time T20I captain, will hope his team can turn its individual talent into a more disciplined performance.
India also have some selection decisions to make despite their comfortable win in the first T20I.

Abhishek's 82 has strengthened his position at the top of the order, while Sanju Samson scored only 10 runs.

Ishan Kishan also scored 42, giving India another option in the batting line-up. Teenage batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi could also be in contention after missing the first T20I.

India will also be without Harshit Rana, who has been ruled out after suffering a rectus femoris strain. Yash Thakur has joined the squad as his replacement.

A win on Tuesday will give India an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Afghanistan, meanwhile, need a victory to take the series into a decider.

Adam Carolla cut right to the chase when he offered his take on President Donald Trump's plan to give out $5,000 to every American adult, as long as Republicans win the 2026 midterms.
"So now we're just bribing people," Carolla said on the Sunday episode of his podcast.
He said again it sounded like Trump was "bribin' 'em" to get votes — but Carolla didn't seem too upset about it.
The veteran comic and podcaster argued the Democratic Party has been doing its own version of freebie payments for decades, thanks to government programs like food stamps and states paying for the healthcare of low-income residents. Carolla said it "evidently works" when it comes to winning over voters, so Republicans should give it a shot.
"It definitely works on all the poor people," Carolla continued. "We'll just get you free cheese, and free school, and free Medicare, and we'll get you free sh*t. Why don't rich people start bribing people? Why not?"

The Iowa Hawkeyes flipped the script on the Cyclones, winning this year's CyHawk game on a late field goal to pull out a 16-13 win. It was a scrappy, ugly, sometimes dirty game that was pretty much in line to how this series has gone these last ten years. But the Hawkeyes exorcised the demons of the last two years with a Caden Burr field goal from 42 yards out with :15 seconds left to bring the CyHawk trophy back home to Iowa City.
After last week's performance against NIU and with a brand new regime in Ames, many expected this to be a much more comfortable game for the Hawkeyes, especially under the lights in Kinnick Stadium with a raucous crowd. But Iowa State put Iowa into an early 10-0 hole midway through the second quarter that had the black and gold faithful starting to get that "here we go again" familiar feeling. But the offense managed to come to life, thanks to a massive 56-yard bomb to Tony Diaz that set up a Hank Brown touchdown run late the first half. A huge 45-yard Buhr field goal right before halftime reset the score and setting up a grinding second half of football.
Neither team had a great first quarter. Iowa started with the ball but procedural penalties doomed their drive. Meanwhile the Hawkeye defense held the Cyclones to only six plays in the quarter. Iowa State managed to move the chains in the second quarter with drives of nine and ten plays that ended on a Kyle Konrardy field goal and 7-yard Jalen Raynor touchdown pass, respectively. Raynor's stat line tonight won't impress anyone: 10/19 for 117 yards, and no touchdowns with some crucial misfires on potential big plays. But aside from those misses he made no back breaking mistakes that allowed the Iowa defense to capitalize.

Iowa State regained their momentum coming out of the break with an eight play drive that ended with another Konrardy field goal. Running back Aiden Flora had the play of the drive with a 34-yard scamper down to the Iowa 19, but holding and illegal substitution penalties stalled the drive leading to the Konrardy kick to put ISU up 13-10. Iowa's offense went in to hibernation as they could not get Kamari Moulton going on the ground, the Cyclones were clearly committed to stopping the run and it worked for much of the game. Iowa's first three drives of the second half went for only 21 yards (four plays), 8 yards (3 plays), and -5 yards (3 playes, not helped by a holding penalty on Dotzler). Woof.

The Tigers (2-1) lost 38-20 to Boise State (1-1) thanks to a 35-3 run by the Broncos that started at the end of the first half and carried over into a dominant second half. It's a loss that establishes Boise State as the top team in the Group of Six even before conference play has started for most teams.

Moreover, pipeline volumes reached a record 14.7 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, up 8%, while marine-terminal volumes increased 33% to 2.8 million barrels per day. Co-Chief Executive Officer James Teague said:

The company's latest investor materials show $6.5 billion of major capital projects under construction. Real Madrid returned to winning ways in La Liga with a 4-1 home victory over neighbours Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.
José Mourinho would not have been happy with Madrid's second-half display, but they had enough of a cushion thanks to Kylian Mbappé's penalty and goals from Alvaro Carreras and Jude Bellingham in the opening period.
Sergio Camello pulled one back early in the second half, and Thibaut Courtois was a busy man for a period, but Mbappé made sure of the points in stoppage time.

The North Carolina Tar Heels completed their home opener by doing exactly what they needed to do: they easily beat an inferior opponent to improve their record to 2-0. Credit to ETSU for bring a lot of energy to the game, but ultimately they were outmatched from start to finish.
The first quarter opened up with the Tar Heels going three and out thanks to two dropped passes thrown by Billy Edwards, Jr. The Heels were quickly able to make up for it by grabbing an interception thrown by ETSU quarterback, Mason Mims, which led to UNC immediately marching down the field for a touchdown. Jelani Thurman was a bit part of the drive's success, and ultimately caught a 24-yard pass to get into the end zone.
On the Buccaneers' next drive, they were able to chip away at UNC's defense to get to mid-field, but ultimately they weren't able to do enough to finish the drive. They punted and managed to back UNC up to their own end zone, but the quarter finished with UNC moving the ball into safer territory. When the second quarter opened, the Heels proceeded to move the ball down the field, and Edwards was able to find Benjamin Hall for a 26-yard touchdown.
The Buccaneers continued to chip away at UNC's defense, but they continually shot themselves in the foot. A touchdown was negated by a holding call, there was a face mask call after that, and then when they were pushed all the way back to 3rd and 28, the Heels stood tall and were able to get the ball back. They were able to complete another touchdown drive to increase their lead to 21-0 before halftime.
The second half opened with ETSU immediately coughing up the football, which led to a touchdown scored by Demon June. The Buccaneers were without answers from there — despite continuing to gain yards, their inability to finish drives remained constant, and the Heels were able to go up 35-0 before a game delay due to lightning in the area.

The Houston Texans host the Buffalo Bills in Week One this season, and they'll be looking for their third consecutive home victory over Buffalo in the series between these two AFC foes. Buffalo lost close games at NRG Stadium in each of the last two seasons, dropping a 23-20 decision during the 2024 season and a 23-19 contest last year.
For Houston, much of their success against Buffalo has come thanks to their stifling defense. Houston manages to harass quarterback Josh Allen in ways that most of the NFL has been unable to duplicate. Can the Texans do that again? If so, the Bills could be in a heap of trouble.
In order for Buffalo to come out with a win on Sunday, they'll need to do a better job dictating the game to the Houston defense than they have in he past. However, they'll also need to put themselves in good situations by limiting what could be a very potent Texans offense, as well.

Linfield left it late at Stangmore Park but made it five league Irish Premiership wins on the bounce thanks to a Kyle McClean stunner.
McClean's strike from the edge of the box in the 82nd minute was enough to secure a 1-0 and all three points for the visitors.
