Courtney Robertson and Trista Sutter confronted their longstanding feud during a recent episode of the Almost Famous Podcast. Robertson accused Sutter of snubbing her after her breakup with Ben Flajnik, while Sutter said she did not remember the incident the same way.

Here's a look at the full list of picks for the first 10 rounds of the Full-PPR, 12-team mock draft.
Round 1: I picked fourth overall, which is where I want to be in general. In this dream scenario, Puka Nacua fell to me despite me considering him the 1.01 in full-PPR formats. It'd be Nacua, Ja'Marr Chase, Jahmyr Gibbs and then Bijan Robinson for me at the top before a slight tier drop to Christian McCaffrey, Jaxson Smith-Njigba, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jonathan Taylor. That tier has slightly more risk or slightly less upside than the Big 4. What I wouldn't recommend is James Cook III at third overall, like my friend Aaron. In fact, Cook's lack of receiving profile keeps him out of my top-12 rankings entirely.
Round 2: After the star talents at RB get scooped up, my attention always goes to Brock Bowers in full-PPR re-draft formats. The drop-off at TE scoring after the top-eight this year is concerning, and I'm struggling to find breakout sleepers at the position. Bowers is uniquely set up for a 28% or higher target share while competing for looks with Jalen Nailor and Tre Tucker. That's the difference between my Round 2 Bowers ranking and my Round 3 Trey McBride ranking. In general, I don't see any obvious fades in Round 2. I'm most skeptical of Omarion Hampton's workload and Ashton Jeanty's touchdown upside early in Round 2, but their upside is obvious. The lone true mistake in this mock draft is Kyren Williams at 2.23, given how much Blake Corum threatened him last year (I drafted Corum later in this draft).

Ben Simmons continues to make major strides amid his NBA comeback bid, reportedly participating "with zero restrictions at a player-led private minicamp for the Australian men's basketball team" this week.
However, Simmons' latest offseason highlights did little to win over the NBA world, instead reigniting familiar mockery of the 2016 No. 1 pick.
At his peak, Simmons was viewed as one of the NBA's premier defenders and facilitators, with his 6-foot-10 frame placing him among the league's most unique players. Unfortunately for the 30-year-old, a combination of injuries and mental confidence blocks amid mounting scrutiny contributed to his sharp decline.
Amid Simmons' up-and-down basketball journey, 3-point shooting has remained a constant weakness, as he has shot a meager 5-for-36 (13.9%) for his career. While the three-time All-Star has struggled to demonstrate in-game shooting improvements, his ability to thrive in offseason settings has long been a source of confusion and irritation.
After sitting out the entire 2025-26 season with a back injury, Simmons is angling to make a comeback. Per ESPN's Marc J. Spears, "several NBA teams have expressed interest in Simmons, who is open to signing a minimum contract." Spears added that "one source said he has a non-guaranteed offer on the table for training camp with a Western Conference team."

The Dallas Cowboys have cleared the first true hurdle of training camp, and now can set their eyes on the next, the opening exhibition game. On Tuesday, the Cowboys traveled down from Oxnard, CA so they could take on the Los Angeles Rams in a joint practice. Next up, a Saturday trip up the Pacific Coast so they can battle against the World Champion Seattle Seahawks.
And with that game barreling towards both clubs, the Cowboys press room sent out the unofficial depth chart for the preseason opener. It's the first real look at the pecking order of things that have been reported on during training camp practices, and it includes some noteworthy things.
From the outside looking in, the question about the OL is how many make the opening roster? The starting five is set, left to right being Tyler Guyton, Tyler Smith, Cooper Beebe, Tyler Booker and Terence Steele. TJ Bass is the top backup, with Nate Thomas and rookie Drew Shelton forming a consistently mocked group of eight OL.
Will they carry a ninth or an even 10? Can last year's late-round pick Ajani Cornelius convince them to carry five tackles, knowing Tyler Smith can slide outside? Does it make more sense to bring guard Nick Leverett to the regular season, or what about UDFAs Shiyazh Pete and DJ Wingfield?
As a fifth-round pick at the running back position, many expected Blue to be a part of the Cowboys' rotation on offense in 2025. However poor work ethic seemed to mar almost all of his rookie campaign, leading many to wonder if the club would move past the thought of him this year. He's seemed to correct those issues, reporting with a renewed focus and breaking several big plays through the first two weeks of camp.

The 2027 NFL Draft will take place in Washington, D.C. next year. In that draft, the Vikings still have their first-round pick, but a lot could happen in the next 9 months. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup for the team and who they may add to the roster through the draft in a class that many are saying could be one of generational wealth.
NFLMocks.com's Tarringo Basile-Vaughan recently released the latest 2027 NFL mock draft of the cycle, which has the team going with a quarterback we don't often see in first-round mocks. He projects them to land LSU passer Sam Leavitt.
Basile-Vaughn explains the Leavitt pick, writing, "The Vikings are another team on the market for a franchise quarterback or at least someone to come in and create competition at the position if J.J. McCarthy doesn't take command of the position. With the No. 14 overall pick, the Vikings make Sam Leavitt the sixth quarterback off the board in the 2027 NFL Draft. In transferring to LSU after two seasons at Arizona State, Leavitt will get an opportunity to increase his draft stock under the guidance of Lane Kiffin and his high-tempo offensive style of football. With his elite arm strength and passing efficiency, playing under Kevin O'Connell could be the perfect fit for Leavitt and a Vikings team looking for consistency at the position."
If O'Connell wants a project, Leavitt fits the bill. He has shown he has the arm talent of a top NFL prospect but everything else in his game remains a major question mark. It would take a lot for him at LSU to showcase himself as a top 15 pick as they are projecting.

The conversation around trans athletes and the WNBA has broken containment as former NBA athletes turned conservative media characters Enes Kanter and Royce White step in with a publicity stunt to attempt to play in the women's league.
Gender politics suddenly took over WNBA news last month when Indiana Fever forward Sophie Cunningham shared her desire to keep transgender women out of women's sports locker rooms in a profile at ESPN. While Cunningham's initial comments centered on youth sports, others quickly took the baton to weave a story around how the WNBA itself could be overtaken by transgender women.
Since Kanter and White's ****** ouncements, right-wing commentators have expressed glee toward the pair's efforts to undermine WNBA rules regarding who can compete in its league. But this week, former ESPN ****** yst Ryan Clark had some choice words for them in a recent video for his podcast, The Pivot.
"If we are men, and as former athletes, and we understand how hard it is to get respect in the game, don't make a mockery about what these women are going through. Don't make jokes about things you'll never understand," he said.
"Stay out of it. If you don't have some input, either right or wrong, that could be impactful or helpful, let these people be. Because dudes who could never play who want to make jokes about something that is incredibly serious are absolute clowns."

The later rounds are where you stop drafting for safety and start drafting for upside. The best late picks are cheap swings at a player whose role could climb. Rashid Shaheed is that swing this year.
Draft Shaheed with one of your last picks. PFN's Kyle Soppe calls him "the easiest click I'm making in the later rounds," and the reasons to like him run deeper than his 2025 box score lets on.
Do not judge him on the ugly line he posted after arriving in Seattle. Shaheed managed just 15 catches for 188 yards and no touchdowns following his midseason trade, and his snap and target counts cratered to roughly three looks a game. That is what happens when a receiver lands on a new team in November with no offseason to learn the system, not a sign that the talent slipped.

Give him a defined role and the production shows up. Before the deal, Shaheed was averaging 11.6 points per game in New Orleans on a career-high 7.3 targets, ranking second on the Saints in targets behind only Chris Olave. Rewind to 2024, and he was a top-25 fantasy receiver through five weeks behind 17.5 yards per reception, before a knee injury ended his season. The role has been the variable, not the player.

The 61-year-old actress joined her daughter Grier Henchy for a playful TikTok challenge on August 8 that showed her being mockingly insulted to see how she would respond.
Rather than getting defensive, Shields responded to each jab with quick-witted answers that showed just how comfortable she is in her own skin.
"OK, I'm going to insult you like a bully, and you need to tell me how you would respond," Henchy, 20, told her mom in the video.

Pro Football Network recently released the latest 2027 NFL mock draft of the cycle. Within that mock, they have the Vikings landing SEC running back Kewan Lacy. The All-American running back is poised for a big season in the toughest conference, and it could lead to him becoming the top running back in the class.
They explain the Lacy pick, writing, "Less than a year out from the 2027 NFL Draft, there doesn't appear to be a clear favorite for the class's RB1 mantle. That doesn't mean there's no talent, though, as Ole Miss's Kewan Lacy showed in 2025. Lacy led the FBS in carries (306) and led the SEC in rushing touchdowns (24), while displaying dual-threat ability with 29 receptions for 177 yards. The Minnesota Vikings are in desperate need of a premium rusher if they're to climb back to relevance in the NFC."
Lacy would become the instant RB1 with the Vikings if he landed with them. Arguably, he could get that type of buzz anywhere, but the Vikings would be a homerun spot for him and Minnesota would benefit by allowing them to establush a run game once again.

One of the fun things about basketball in the Triangle is that there are three teams that all woof at each other. The common element is that Duke and NC State historically hate UNC, while Carolina hates Duke and likes to condescend to State fans as if they're the infamous little brother.

Like most players this past spring who ******* umed their eligibility was up, Williams had made other plans. He entered the NBA Draft but was not selected. When the recent court decision came down that gave all members of the class of 2022 a fifth year, Williams took advantage and returned to Lubbock, which makes sense.
Why would he have stayed with the Wolfpack? The team he was recruited to is scattered to the winds. The coach who brought him to Raleigh is gone. There isn't anything holding him there.

The worst people you know have taken the fear-mongering over transgender athletes and the WNBA all the way to its most illogical conclusion.
To be clear, there has never been a transgender athlete in the WNBA. Ever. There are no transgender athletes competing in the NWSL or other major women's pro sports leagues in the United States either. There is now a very clear Olympic ban on transgender athletes competing in female competitions. The Supreme Court has upheld state bans. And the NCAA reported in 2024 that there were fewer than ten trans athletes competing across the entirety of college athletics.
However, Sophie Cunningham's comments on trans athletes were a bat signal for the anti-trans machine to kick into overdrive. The last couple of weeks have been an incredibly predictable culture wars saga with Riley Gaines showing up for photo ops, Fox News suddenly finding an interest in the WNBA against the wishes of their own hosts, and the entire facade being used as an opportunity for hateful rhetoric to flourish.
But the absurdity was taken to a whole new level on Friday when NBA veteran turned political opportunist Enes Kanter "declared" himself eligible for the 2027 WNBA Draft. He was followed by Minnesota Senate candidate and all-around weird dude Royce White, who did likewise.
This, of course, is stupid. It's nothing more than an idiotic stunt designed to get 15 minutes of attention for their grift and bring increased abuse and mockery to the real transgender community.

This week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans to predict how many turnovers the defense will force in 2026.
Two-thirds of respondents said 20-29 turnovers, and the other third said 10-19 turnovers.
"We're just continuing to improve our physicality and the X's and O's behind the game," linebacker Foye Oluokun said after Friday's mock scrimmage. "When we know that and everybody can trust the communication, we can all fly around. So, I like what I saw in terms of being in the right spots and stuff and kind of ramping up, getting ready for a real game. While the defense was among the league's best at creating takeaways last season, head coach Liam Coen is hoping that consistently sticky coverage on the backend will help out the pass rush.
"I really have felt like that [defensive backs] group has gotten better and better. I think that Araujo and Perk and Drew Lascari have done a great job coaching those guys and working on some technique of maybe being able to challenge people a little bit more and be able to play a little bit more man, or just match coverages. I think that only helps the rush in how much those two are usually tied together. But I've been very pleased."

The Seattle Seahawks held their eighth public training camp practices early Friday morning, a special practice for season ticket holders and their guests. It was another warm day at team headquarters in Renton, albeit less smoky and hazy than earlier in the week. Much like Wednesday's practice, the Seahawks were not in pads, and indeed they mixed things up with the 11 vs. 11 sessions. There was first-team offense vs. second-team defense, third-team offense vs. first-team defense, the usual 1s vs. 1s and 2s vs. 2s, plus a lot of situational football like red zone and 3rd-and-long work that often decides actual games.
For the second time this week, Field Gulls was on-site at VMAC observing what was just about a three-hour long practice. Myself and fellow Field Gulls staff writer and host of The Hawks Eye podcast, Bryce Coutts, as well as Seahawks Forever podcast host, Dan Viens, filmed an instant reaction video after practice ended with our quick-fire takeaways. We discuss the absence of Jadarian Price (which we now know is due to "lower body soreness" per Gregg Bell), the impressive performances of Emanuel Wilson and Ricky White III, a name to watch at the edge, and a promised wrinkle in Brian Fleury's offense that we saw heavily worked on in today's practice.
Oh yeah, and there's a new fullback here who's already getting into the swing of things. Here's new fullback Brock Lampe with RBs coach Thomas Hammock.

RadarOnline also noted that the birthday posts followed Meghan's return to sharing more personal updates online. The Pittsburgh Steelers have already issued a statement on the now-viral Aaron Rodgers-Fauci situation, but Mike McCarthy has since broken his silence on the veteran quarterback's comments.
One day after the Steelers responded to Rodgers mocking Fauci by pleading the Fifth and calling him an "absolute coward," McCarthy made it crystal clear that his job is to keep everything about football, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
"You know, these are grown men," McCarthy said on Tuesday. "They all have different opinions. There's no question about that. But at the end of the day, my job is to keep it about football, keep the focus on winning. That's why we're here. We have a good locker room. We have a player council that's in place, and we had our second meeting Monday, so I think we're in a good spot."
On Monday's training camp edition of The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers completely ripped into Fauci, as well as ESPN for failing to extensively cover the alleged Dianna Russini-Mike Vrabel controversy.
The Steelers already addressed the situation, stating that their players are entitled to having their own differing personal views. And now, McCarthy all but did the same.

When Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby was asked about the team's defensive offseason additions at the beginning of training camp, he mentioned one player by name: linebacker Quay Walker.

I've never played with a linebacker that looks like the size of me.'"
The 6-foot-5, 255-pound defensive lineman was rightfully impressed by the 6-foot-4, 240-pound linebacker's size. According to MockDraftable, Walker's measurements at the 2022 NFL Combine are in the 91st, 61st and 84th percentiles when it comes to height, weight and wingspan (nearly 80 inches), respectively, for the position. It's worth noting that MockDraftable's database goes back to 1999, when linebackers were heavier in the NFL, and 240-plus-pound second-level defenders are a rare breed in today's game.
That change is due to the rise of the passing game in the league, shifting the priority to athletic linebackers who can hold up in coverage. Despite what his size might suggest, the Georgia product is also an elite athlete for the position. He tested very well at the combine to earn a 9.63 out of 10 Relative Athletic Score, highlighted by a 4.52-second 40-yard dash (9.65 RAS), 6.89-second three-cone time (9.29) and 10-foot-2 broad jump (8.69).
For good measure, he also showed off plenty of strength during the pre-draft process by hitting 23 reps on the bench press.

What a glorious sentence. Training camps are underway in earnest, preseason kicks off this week and the season will be here before you can spell "Kyle Juszczyk" (which takes me about 25 business days on average). Whether you've been following the beats all summer or are just now tuning back in, one of your best tools for taking the temperature of the fantasy football community is Average Draft Position, or ADP.

But that ADP is subject to change — quite a lot — over the next month. So, as we hit the heart of mock drafts (and eventually real drafts) and these ADPs continue to shift, here are 10 players whose draft cost I'm watching closely.
The closer we get to September, the more ADP shifts away from the brainchild of degenerates and diehards — like me — and closer to the consensus of the average fantasy player. Oftentimes, that comes with a notable shift in perception on rookies. Running back Jeremiyah Love was drafted third overall out of Notre Dame and is the top rookie in fantasy ADP — a potentially game-changing talent. But the Cardinals entered training camp with a lot of question marks on offense and have raised even more with recent comments about James Conner and Tyler Allgeier. Historically speaking, Love's draft capital suggests he will be a workhorse, but a long look at Arizona's roster raises some red flags about efficiency and scoring chances. The breakdown of snaps and touches will likely remain something of a mystery until Week 1 (or beyond), so fantasy drafters will have to work off conjecture for now.

It's been well documented that Duke head coach Jon Scheyer has produced more NBA talent from college since taking over for previous head coach Mike Krzyzewski than any other school. Those NBA alumni include three recent draft picks, Cameron Boozer, Isaiah Evans and Maliq Brown, who are set to begin their first NBA season this fall.
However, according to NBA Draft odds website Tankathon, there could be even more Blue Devils selected in the 2027 NBA Draft. Currently, Tankathon has four Duke players on their big board, none higher than incoming freshman Cameron Williams, who is projected to land No. 7 overall to the Atlanta Hawks.
Patrick Ngongba II is projected to land just inside the lottery at No. 15 (new draft rules beginning in 2027 expand lottery from 14 to 16 picks) with the Golden State Warriors. Then in the second-round Tankathon has Dame Sarr as the No. 44 overall selection and Cayden Boozer as the No. 55 overall pick.
This projection did not include transfer addition John Blackwell, who recently took part in the 2026 NBA Draft combine. With a solid senior campaign in Durham, Blackwell could easily earn consideration after falling just short a few months prior.

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson continues his hold-in in an attempt to land a new contract that will completely reset the running back market, with an extension expected to push toward $25 million annually. He and Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs seem to be colluding by both sitting out practices during training camp to put more pressure on their respective teams to get a deal done sooner rather than later. All signs indicate that the Falcons will eventually pay Robinson, but there are still some out there that would question if it's worthwhile. However, paying Robinson is the right call for the Falcons.
Certainly, a case can be made that paying running backs doesn't age particularly well given the relatively short shelf life of the position in the NFL. Given that Robinson has already gotten a high volume of touches during his first three seasons, there is an increased risk of declining production from here on, according to a June article from The Athletic's Austin Mock, who demonstrates that high-workload backs suffer a sharp drop-off after age 26.
However, the alternative to not paying Robinson and going with a cheaper running back option offers little upside to Atlanta. The idea that backs like Robinson and Gibbs can be readily replaced has been debunked recently by CBS Sports' Ryan Wilson, who argues that second-contract running back fears are overblown because elite, multi-dimensional talents like them are virtually irreplaceable and historically sustain high-level production after getting paid.
Looking closer at middle-round running backs drafted from 2018 to 2022 to gauge real 'replacement value' over a rookie contract, a typical mid-round running back produces roughly on par with Kenny Gainwell (1,185 rushing yards in four combined seasons), which pales in comparison to the 3,910 yards Robinson has put up in just his first three seasons. If you can land a player like Kyren Williams (3,824 combined rushing yards in his first four seasons), it closes the gap.
However, finding "surplus value" like Williams is a lot harder than people realize: less than 10 percent of mid-round backs in the sample produced for a combined 3,000 rushing yards over their rookie contract. And that level of production is a far cry from the over 5,000 rushing yards Robinson is on pace to achieve after four years if he has just another "average" season in 2026. It only underlines the notion that finding competent running backs like Gainwell to fill out a committee is relatively easy, but landing a true lead back like Robinson who can produce at an elite level is much more difficult.

Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has spent 40 years in the National Football League unknown except for his defensive schemes, but last week opened his press remarks mocking the congressional testimony of Dr Anthony Fauci, jokingly invoking the Fifth Amendment before taking questions. Apropos of nothing, President Trump publicly surmised that LeBron James might be a racist. Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham is now in the act, accepting the role as the right's anti-Black, anti-transgender culture war ambassador, the role originally intended for Caitlin Clark.
If Clark has lacked the courage and dexterity to say anything beyond the milky and ambiguous, Sophie Cunningham does not suffer from such internal conflicts. Largely anonymous politically or otherwise during her eight-year career, Cunningham – she of the viral finger-point which has been adopted as a symbol of the white animosity toward the WNBA culture – is in her moment. Her comments in a lengthy 21 July ESPN profile stating her opposition to transgender athletes has earned her hero status of the specious "Protect Our Girls" movement, even though you'd need a microscope to find any critical mass of transgender women participating in sports at any level.
Cunningham plays role of the blithe and bubbly iconoclast, oblivious to the world around as she unapologetically speaks her truths, but she is every bit as political as Colin Kaepernick, Megan Rapinoe, or her locked-armed, T-shirt wearing colleagues that defined the WNBA when she first entered the league in 2019. Cunningham forged a tough, take-no-prisoners-without-taking-herself-too-seriously persona, but was too meek to address the toxic roots of her newfound fame.
So too, was ESPN, which waited nearly 75 paragraphs just to sidestep the foundation of Cunningham's rise: she is profiting from cultural fractures that may be good for her but are tearing her league apart:

Chelsea Handler had one immediate question after seeing Joe Rogan placed at the top of Forbes' 2026 ranking of the highest-paid podcasters: who is paying him an estimated $82 million?
The comedian challenged the figure beneath an Instagram post promoting the list.
She argued that the money would be better directed toward veterans or children before criticizing the information Rogan shares with his enormous audience.
The $82 million figure is not a disclosed salary or a single payment from Spotify. It is Forbes' estimate of the pretax podcast-related earnings generated by Rogan or his business between June 2025 and June 2026.
"WHO IS PAYING JOE ROGAN 82 million?" Handler wrote beneath Forbes' Instagram post. "Give that to our vets, or our children!!!" She then accused Rogan of being "completely uninformed" and mocked what she characterized as his habit of casually retreating from inaccurate statements.

Information surrounding the car accident involving San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has been hard to come by. NFL insiders have revealed the extent of Shanahan's injuries, and Shanahan has accepted responsibility for the accident, but further details have not surfaced.
And don't expect them to be.
Shanahan suffered a severe concussion, a broken left hand/wrist, a broken nose, three fractured ribs, and deep facial lacerations in the accident, with good friend Chris Simms saying the head coach nearly lost his eye.

That's the extent of the public's knowledge about Shanahan's accident, and the Palo Alto Police Department will not be releasing any more. According to TMZ Sports, the bodycam footage and 911 call from the accident are "exempt from disclosure" under the California Public Records Act.
