We've already seen what Ayo Edebiri has delivered at the Toronto International Film Festival, but she isn't the only Chanel ambassador in town. Lily-Rose Depp, Penélope Cruz and Margaret Qualley have also been representing the house across premieres, dinners and the TIFF Tribute Awards.

This mini tweed Chanel dress couldn't be more Lily-Rose Depp coded. The fitted silhouette, contrast trim and prominent double-C logo all sit firmly within her usual Chanel vocabulary, but the red earrings give the black-and-white look the pop of colour it needed. It's familiar territory for Lily-Rose, and it always works so well.

This pale-yellow Chanel Fall 2026 dress does feel like a step outside Lily-Rose's comfort zone, both in terms of style and colour. That quintessentially French-girl quality we've long ****** ociated with her Chanel wardrobe isn't as apparent in Matthieu Blazy's designs, which is allowing us to see another side of her style.

Harry Potter is a magical series with countless fans, and every installment has won over both audiences and critics. Recently, The Matrix creator Lilly Wachowski spoke with Variety about her new studio, and during the interview, she criticized J.K. Rowling over the new HBO Harry Potter series.
Wachowski said, "She is funding trans genocide. J.K. Rowling funds trans genocide, full stop. So, if you support "Harry Potter," you're supporting trans genocide."
"The money that goes into you enjoying these products, a portion of that money goes to J.K. Rowling and that money goes into her funding anti-trans legislation all over the world." She added
During the interview, Lily Wachowski did not hold back while criticizing J.K. Rowling. Before calling her fans part of a bigger problem, the Cloud Atlas star also called the British author a ***** and compared her to Elon Musk, though not in a positive way.

Lily Reynolds enjoyed a tremendous first full season pitching on the varsity level as a sophomore for Colonie in 2026.
Before her final two high schools seasons, Reynolds has already provided longtime University at Albany softball coach Chris Cannata her verbal commitment to pitch for the Great Danes of the America East Conference.
"I just realized that I wanted to stay home and be around my family. That was really the big deciding factor for me - not necessarily the D-I label," Reynolds said of her decision.
"She called me (Wednesday) and I told her this is the best news ever," said Colonie coach Kelly Colvin, who played at Shenendehowa and UAlbany. "Lily has put in so much hard work with us at Colonie and with the (Capital District) Fusion. It is really cool to see it pay off for her. We're all very excited."
During her sophomore season, Reynolds compiled a 7-2 record with a 1.61 earned run average and 115 strikeouts over 91 1/3 innings for the Wolf Pack. She was named to the Times Union all-star team as a first-team selection.

Lily Allen shares two daughters with her ex-husband, Sam Cooper. The former couple were married from 2011 to 2018.
They welcomed their first daughter, Ethel Mary Cooper, in November 2011. Their second daughter, Marnie Rose Cooper, was born in January 2013.
Allen has been a dedicated mom ever since, prioritizing her daughters over her music career.

Solana Foundation president Lily Liu has laid out the case for what she calls the "token supercycle", a long-term shift in which money, **** ets and ownership move onto blockchain infrastructure permanently, not as a trend but as a structural change in how markets work.
Solana is a high-speed blockchain network designed for fast, low-cost transactions. The Solana Foundation is the nonprofit organization that supports the network's development and ecosystem growth.
In an op-ed published Sep. 2, Liu argued that tokenization, the process of representing real-world **** ets like stocks, bonds or real estate as digital tokens on a blockchain, is not just another technology cycle but a fundamental reworking of who can issue, invest in and distribute financial **** ets.
Related: Billionaire says Bitcoin's next 3-year bull run has already begun
Liu pointed to four developments that she says have now converged. Stablecoins, digital tokens pegged to currencies like the U.S. dollar, have proven that money can move onchain at global scale. Financial institutions are beginning to bring traditional **** ets onto blockchains.

Bristol City will travel to Deepdale this evening to take on Preston, as they look to pick up back-to-back wins in the Championship.
The Robins got their first three points on the board on Saturday, beating Portsmouth 2-1 in front of a packed Ashton Gate. Lorent Tolaj opened the scoring by netting his first Championship goal, before Jason Knight headed home a second on the hour mark. A late penalty for Pompey made for a nervy final few minutes in the South West, but Michael Skubala's side ultimately got over the line.
Preston, meanwhile, have lost their opening three matches to Bolton, Wolves and most recently Charlton Athletic, giving cause for concern amongst fans ahead of taking on a side that will be aiming for a play-off spot come May, whilst the Lilywhites are more worried about securing their spot in this division for next season.
Preston have underperformed their xG so far this season, creating enough chances to have scored three goals, but only netting two so far. They have also only registered an average of two shots on target per match, the lowest in the league. By contrast, the Robins have netted four goals in their last two outings, against Birmingham City and Portsmouth, with both Tolaj and Dom Ballard opening their accounts in the process.
Bristol City have picked up four points from their last two trips to Deepdale; it arguably should be six, but Anis Mehmeti failed to make his chances count last year, meaning the game finished 0-0. Max Bird, Yu Hirakawa and Nahki Wells were on the scoresheet the year before, as Liam Manning's side picked up a 3-1 win. Preston won the last meeting between these sides 2-0, back in January, when Lewis Dobbin and Alfie Devine found the net.

Late-night talk shows in the 1970s were meant to be easygoing, low-stakes affairs—a way for fans to get to know their favorite Hollywood stars in an era devoid of 24/7 social media coverage. Guests smiled, plugged their latest projects, and tried to get laughs from the audience. Like today, these shows often featured a cross-section of talent across movies, music, TV, sports, and even politics. A panel might contain individuals with wildly different points of view, which could lead to occasional, if unintentional, fireworks.
A taping of The **** Cavett Show in 1972 illustrates just how easily things could explode.
Actress and comedian Lily Tomlin was the first guest of the evening. She was there to promote her new comedy album, and everything seemed to be going according to plan. Tomlin was asked about being a cheerleader in high school and auditioning for Cavett's program before she shot to fame on TV's Laugh-In. If you haven't seen her portrayals of the snarky, snorting telephone operator Ernestine or her precocious little girl character, Edith Ann, do yourself a favor and watch.
After a commercial break, actor Chad Everett sat down next to Tomlin as Cavett's second guest on the panel. That's when everything started to go awry.
Everett, who played a doctor on the series Medical Center, was there to hype a TV nature special that he had narrated. Naturally, this led Cavett to lob a few softball questions about Everett's love of the outdoors and what life was like at home on his ranch.

Tottenham have been dealt a cruelly-timed injury blow after Savio was denied a Premier League debut for the club due to a muscular issue.
Savio joined Spurs from Manchester City in an eye-watering £85m deal but got off to a perfect start for the Lilywhites in midweek, coming off the bench and immediately scoring in the 5-0 Carabao Cup win over Charlton.
He was expected to make his league bow for Spurs alongside fellow ex-City team-mate Omar Marmoush against Newcastle in Saturday's late kick-off, but was notable for his absence in the matchday squad.
Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi has now explained why the Brazilian missed out on the visit of the Magpies.
"We had some bad news yesterday," he told Sky Sports. "He suffered muscular fatigue. The medical staff didn't want to take a risk. I agree with them."

Big-spending Tottenham host a Newcastle side that boast an excellent recent record against the north Londoners. BBC Sport takes a look at some of the key themes..
After making such a shocking start to the season against Brentford last Saturday, Tottenham's 5-1 victory against Charlton in the League Cup at least provided a much-needed fillip.
The manner of Spurs' insipid defeat at the Gtech Community Stadium was as bad as anything seen under Thomas Frank or Igor Tudor last season and was of great worry to boss Roberto de Zerbi and fans alike.
Brentford had an xG of 3.87, six big chances and their 26 shots was the most Spurs had faced in 142 Premier League fixtures dating all the way back until October 2022.
The Lilywhites have accrued just 79 points from their last 77 Premier League matches since the start of the 2024-25 campaign, a tally that is under half ***** nal's total of 162 across the same period.

Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye is reportedly an option for Tottenham Hotspur should they miss out on Cody Gakpo. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club have completed the signing of Brazilian attacker Savinho from Manchester City this morning. Spurs are also closing in on his former teammate Omar Marmoush, but manager Roberto De Zerbi wants one more attacker. While Gakpo has been targeted for most of the summer, the Dutchman is also on the radar of Man City.
The Lilywhites have contingency plans in place should City move ahead of them in the pursuit of the Liverpool star. Ndiaye has emerged as an option for Tottenham, but City are also keeping an eye on the Everton star. AC Milan's Rafael Leao remains on Spurs' radar also, and other attackers on being monitored should they miss out on Gakpo.
Ndiaye has proven himself in the Premier League and he is also attracting the likes of Manchester United and Saudi Pro League clubs. Everton are desperate to hold on to him and will demand at least €80 million from suitors to sell the 26-year-old. ******* nal also have the Tottenham target on their radar, and a move to North London could be on the cards for the Senegalese international. Ndiaye has three years remaining on his current Toffees contract, and there is no exit clause in it. Everton have been looking to get the him to sign a new deal but their efforts have yielded no results. Ndiaye is insisting on an exit clause that could be triggered as early as this summer included in the new deal before reaching an agreement.

The saga of not one, but TWO summers is finally at an end. Savinho has officially joined Tottenham Hotspur!
We are delighted to announce the signing of Sávio from Manchester City ✍️
The Brazilian winger, who will wear #17 (which fits nicely with his move to N17), has transferred from Manchester City for a reported £75 million plus £10 million add-ons. It's a hefty fee for a promising talent, but one that is supposedly offset by some transfer shenanigans around a double signing from City, with Omar Marmoush the second player reportedly joining for a lower fee to offset a sell-on clause inserted by Eintracht Frankfurt in his shift to City.
It's a big signing for Spurs. The Lilywhites have been in desperate need of quality in attack, and have arguably over-invested in late-peak players this summer who are unlikely to develop further. Savinho, or Savio, is somebody who is still early in his career and will have the ability to grow and develop in the coming seasons… at least that's the hope. And he's already a pretty decent player!
There was a nice touch from the club as well, as they welcomed him with a video from Xavi Simons, previously teammates with Savio at PSV Eindhoven:

Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement to sign Omar Marmoush on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Spurs will have Marmoush on loan, and will be able to sign him permanently for £50 million next summer.
The deal includes a buy option which will become an obligation once certain conditions are met by the player.
The Lilywhites have responded to their atrocious display against Brentford by agreeing to bring in another attacker days after their Savinho agreement.
They lost 3-0 against the Bees in their first Premier League game of the 2026-27 season.

MINFORD — Over the last 10 years, the Minford Falcons' girls soccer program has turned into a program that has consistently reloaded year-in and year-out — instead of rebuilt.
If Saturday afternoon's effort was any indication, Shane Tieman's club is in good shape once again.
Down 2-0 after two goals by Lily Ferguson through 29 minutes of play, Minford rallied from that deficit by getting equalizing top-shelf goals from Marley Rhodes and Makenna Enz and playing lockdown defense the rest of the distance en route to drawing Lynchburg-Clay in a 2-2 tie.
The contest, which officially kicked off the 2026-27 soccer season for Scioto County programs, was moved to Minford late Friday evening after originally being scheduled at Lynchburg. The nonconference matchup was moved due to standing water on Lynchburg-Clay's playing surface.
Tieman was impressed with how his roster of 24 played, particularly considering that Minford wasn't even able to see the pitch last week as a team.

The idea of a Disney princess stirs up a certain image. Whether they're animated or live-action, Disney princesses are typically ******* ociated with glamorous, elaborate ballgowns, ultra-feminine silhouettes, and show-stopping accessories. Sometimes, the actors who bring these princesses to life fit the brief on the red carpet, channeling that regal energy. But other times, their real-life style takes a completely unexpected turn, away from the safe boundaries of Disney.
In most cases, actors who portray Disney princesses are expected to meet the royal brief on the red carpet at least while doing press for the movie. We saw this with Lily James, who transformed her public-facing style around 2015 to better embody her character of Cinderella. "Lily is a tomboy in the way that she dresses normally, and she wasn't fully into princess-ing it up as much as we have," her stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray told Fashionista that year. "We saw after everyone's reaction from the first dress in Berlin that people wanted to see Cinderella, so we decided to do a switcheroo with the dresses and really went for that enchanted princess theme." However, not long after the press surrounding the live-action remake of "Cinderella" died down, James cultivated a wardrobe that felt more authentic to her, swapping full skirts and whimsical details for bold cutouts and earthy palettes.
That said, some Disney actors maintain the fairy-tale-coded aesthetic for years, forever throwing it back on the red carpet to their princess characters. Both approaches can make for a high-fashion moment, whether the stars keep it magical or move into edgier territory. From Kristen Bell's stylish nods to "Frozen" to Anika Noni Rose's sculptural moment, these red-carpet looks are the best of the bunch.
