Tamboran Resources Corporation (NYSE:TBN) announced September 7 that it and Daly Waters Energy, LP had begun gas sales from the Shenandoah South Pilot Project into Australia's Northern Territory network. The deliveries mark the Beetaloo Basin's first gas sales and move the project into revenue generation.
The Sturt Plateau Compression Facility has a capacity of approximately 48.5 million cubic feet per day. Contracted supply of approximately 38.8 million cubic feet per day is expected by early 2027 under a long-term take-or-pay agreement with the Northern Territory Government. These are gross project volumes. Commissioning gas receives a discounted price because supply remains interruptible.
Tamboran Resources Corporation (NYSE:TBN) now has a working route from wells through processing infrastructure to a customer. All five wells on the Shenandoah South 2 pad have been drilled, stimulated and connected to the facility. Initial deliveries reduce uncertainty around the physical connection between the resource and its market.
Contracted demand equals 80% of stated processing capacity, providing a substantial foundation for utilization once production reaches the target. Take-or-pay agreements generally require buyers to pay for committed volumes even if they do not take delivery, subject to contractual conditions.
The gas sales agreement specifies a fixed price with annual adjustments linked to Australia's Consumer Price Index. That structure provides more revenue visibility than relying entirely on spot-market demand, although the price remains confidential.

STUARTS DRAFT — Stuarts Draft swept Waynesboro in Shenandoah District volleyball Thursday, Sept. 10. Draft won 25-12, 25-9, 25-12.
Addyson Dameron had 11 ******* ists and five digs for the Cougars in the win. Hazel Seibert added five ******* ists and an ace. Draft's Addy Coyner had seven kills, six digs and three aces, while Lily May had seven kills. Serenity Hamric finished with six aces and seven digs for the Cougars.
"It wasn't so much about stats tonight, but about communication," Stuarts Draft coach Jess DeWitt said. "Especially in this environment. Our home games haven't been as loud as they could be so we're making sure we're communicating on our end and bringing our own energy no matter what the score is and no matter what the gym environment is."
Ella ******* led Waynesboro with four kills and a pair of blocks. Bristol Slagle had seven digs for the Little Giants.
Fort Defiance got 12 kills from Livia Clinedinst in a 25-14, 25-14, 25-19 win over Rockbridge County Sept. 10 in Shenandoah District volleyball.

Buffalo Gap won the first two sets then had to overcome a Staunton rally to win in five, 25-21, 25-21, 20-25, 23-25, 15-7, in Shenandoah District volleyball Sept. 3.
Gap was led by Bailey Tribble's 15 kills, 25 digs and four aces. Avery Wheeler had 37 ****** ists, 14 digs and three aces. Rachel Baber added 15 kills and Brailyn Green had 18 digs. Freshman Madison Botkin finished with 23 digs.
Kennedy Bryant led Staunton with nine kills, four blocks and a pair of aces. Faith Lam and Brooke Davenport both had six kills in the loss.
Buffalo Gap coach Elizabeth Ashby said she just told her team before the fifth set to go back to playing how they had been earlier in the match.
"Being positive, playing your game," she said. "We let up a little bit on our hits and I said, 'You've just got to swing.' And we did."

Week one of the high school football season in the Schuylkill League and all across Pennsylvania is less than a week away.
But before teams turn to to preparing for their week one opponents, they'll have the opportunity for a tune-up as the league holds it "Scrimmage Saturday."
Numerous scrimmages will be happening locally including Greater Nanticoke facing Mahanoy Area, Tri-Valley along with Executive Education Charter Academy from Allentown will be scrimmaging Pine Grove Area, Nativity and Shenandoah Valley will also be partaking in a scrimmage at Minersville, and Schuylkill Haven will host Lakeland.
By this point in the summer, most head coaches already have a good idea of who their starters are, how their offense and defense are progressing, and where their team is overall prior to week one.
The scrimmages on Saturday will offer the opportunity for coaches to make sure their teams are ready to go for next Friday while also for the first time this fall giving them the opportunity to face someone in a different color jersey.

ROANOKE, Va. (AP) — A federal judge has sided with the Virginia NAACP in its lawsuit against a county school board's reinstatement of Confederate military names to two schools, saying the decision discriminated against Black students and ordering the board to change the schools' monikers again.
In an opinion filed Thursday in U.S. District Court of Virginia, Judge Michael F. Urbanski said the school board in Shenandoah County violated Black students' rights under the 14th Amendment's equal protection clause, which forbids racial discrimination in state-supported institutions. The decision also violates the Equal Educational Opportunities Act, the court found.
Confederate army officers' names are "vestiges" of Shenandoah County's segregationist history that required separate schools for Black and white students.
"The Confederate names were restored with complete awareness of their historic legacy and ongoing discriminatory impact," Urbanski wrote. "In the court's view, the affirmative act of reinstating these vestiges of segregation is far more problematic than a passive failure to remove a long-standing name or symbol."
The judge ordered the board to settle on new school names "on a racially nondiscriminatory basis with all deliberate speed."

High school football's opening night is at the end of August. The Virginia High School League has released the master schedule for this season.
Can Wilson Memorial repeat as Shenandoah District champions? Will Buffalo Gap repeat as regional champions or will Riverheads reclaim its dominance? Can Waynesboro continue to build its program after finding some success a year ago? Is there a Shenandoah District team that can end up playing on the final Saturday of the season this year?
All of those questions, and others, will be answered over the next five months or so.
Practice begins July 30 for some teams, followed by scrimmages and finally the regular season, which opens Aug. 28 for seven of the nine Shenandoah District teams. The other two — Wilson Memorial and Alleghany — open Sept. 4.
