Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White went scorched earth on her critics during a post-game presser on Tuesday night, saying she will always stand by her players and "everybody else can go to ***** !"
White spoke out in the face of heavy criticism after a hard foul on Fever star Sophie Cunningham over the weekend, when she was grabbed around the neck and thrown to the court by Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington.
Carrington was slapped with a flagrant foul and tossed from the game.
After Cunningham chided Carrington for what she called an "intentional" hit, White astonishingly appeared to take Carrington's side, saying, "I don't think that DiJonai intentionally came out to get her across the neck like she did. But it did happen, and I thought it was the right call."
The apparent failure to stick up for her own player led to intense backlash, as she was hit with boos from hometown fans ahead of Tuesday night's game against the New York Liberty.

EAST RUTHERFORD - Jaxson Dart faked the handoff and rolled the other way on a naked bootleg, nothing but green grass between him and the first-down marker on a third-and-5 play during team drills.
"Critical situations" is how Giants coach John Harbaugh termed it, and all Dart did was what he was supposed to do.
The Giants' quarterback got the first down and immediately went down, smoothly sliding feet-first while staying in bounds, essentially ending the game in that scenario.
You would've thought Dart scored the game-winning touchdown on opening night against the Cowboys the way the sideline erupted in delight. Was it a Bronx cheer of sorts? Perhaps not dripping with as much sarcasm, mind you, but the point was the same: the moment itself was appreciated by all.
"I clapped. I applauded," Harbaugh said with a laugh, clapping again for effect in his post-practice news conference Monday. "I applauded when [Dart] did that. It was great."

Anne Hathaway clapped back at internet trolls who ******* erted her pregnancy was fake, after she bared her belly on the red carpet Sunday.
In response, the actress posted a behind-the-scenes video of her getting ready for the premiere of The End of Oak Street.
"Fake hair, real ******* p," she captioned the clip, which also revealed a wardrobe malfunction at the event.
Anne Hathaway might be an Academy Award winner, but her pregnancy is no act.
The actress turned heads at Sunday's premiere of The End of Oak Street, proudly showing off her baby ******* p in a halter top and low-rise jeans. Inexplicably, the look sparked speculation online, as a staggering number of trolls questioned if Hathaway's pregnant belly was actually real.

Felix Rosenqvist and Will Power walked away from the Grand Prix of Portland with second- and third-place podium finishes, but their post-race focus remained squarely on traffic nightmares, with both drivers taking aim at IndyCar's approach to backmarkers.
Rosenqvist started on pole in the #60 Meyer Shank Racing Honda, commanding the early pace and leading 33 laps. However, a combination of a tight exit from his pit box near rookie Mick Schumacher's crew and an overcut strategy by winner Alex Palou relegated him to second position.
While acknowledging Palou's strong pace on the primary tires, Rosenqvist pulled no punches regarding lapped cars holding up race leaders.
"(Palou) just drove better, to be honest," Rosenqvist said. "Not a lot quicker, but he was a little bit quicker, especially on the blacks. That first stint he outsmarted us, did one lap longer. I didn't know he did that, so maybe we need to work on communication. I don't think I could have kept up with that pace he did anyways, if I saved that much fuel."
Rosenqvist also criticised the lapped traffic he and Palou encountered before their final stops. Both lost time behind Louis Foster, who had recently emerged from the pits on fresh tyres.

Their top rookie wasn't practicing again.
Their Super Bowl-champion threw an interception, which in his sterling training camp is semi-news.
Nick Emmanwori did the smallest bit of stretching with his teammates before he watched them practice again. Fellow safety D'Anthony Bell and their coaches joked with Emmanwori and slapped him warmly on his back. It was the next, incremental step in the dynamic safety/linebacker's return to Mike Macdonald's top-ranked defense from arthroscopic ankle surgery last month. Emmanwori remains what the team has thought all along: on track to play in the opener in four weeks.
And a player who had his worst football day in this event almost a year to the day showed he is all the way back.
The Seahawks' annual fan-fest, training-camp practice at Lumen Field Saturday evening was the second straight practice rookie first-round draft choice Jadarian Price missed. He was in team sweats walking out as the champs took the field to the crowd's cheers to begin drills. A team spokesman said the running back has "lower-body soreness," per a team spokesman.

Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant recently threw shade at his former Golden State Warriors teammate.
LeBron James joining the Philadelphia 76ers has created the NBA's newest super team with the King joining forces with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Jaylen Brown.
Many are already comparing it to the Golden State Warriors' super team during the Kevin Durant era. However, the Slim Reaper believes that the current 76ers roster is better than the Dubs' during their golden era.
During the process, KD seemingly took a shot at Klay Thompson for never being in MVP voting. While Klay clapped back at his former teammate, Draymond Green has now entered the conversation.

An ace from Kentucky named Montana who went to Alabama and pitches for Utah put all of America on her back Monday night.
Montana Fouts flirted with perfection as Team USA beat ***** an 2-0 in the gold medal game of softball's International Cup in Oklahoma City.
Fouts made the No. 1 ranked team in the world (for now) look helpless. She retired the first 18 batters she faced. Pinch hitter Yamato Fujita slapped a single through the right side to lead off the seventh inning and spoil Fouts' bid for perfection.
A one-hit shutout would suffice. Fouts struck out eight, registering a backward K for the final out. She ripped off her mask and pounded her chest.
"She had her rhythm, she was very focused, nothing got her rattled, nothing took her off course," Team USA coach Patty Gasso said. "It was outstanding. Out-standing."

CHICAGO — As the wind swirled and the flags flapped at Wrigley Field, Spencer Jones drilled a ball that could not be swayed by the breeze on Friday.
With a 108.7 mph, 418 foot rocket to right center, the left-handed hitter cleared the ivy with ease for the fourth home run of his young career. The solo shot, hit off Chicago Cubs southpaw Shota Imanaga, who has neutral splits, was also Jones' first longball against a left-handed pitcher.
"It was awesome to get a pitch to handle, and then obviously the result was cool," Jones, who hasn't gotten too many opportunities against lefties, said after the New York Yankees' 2-0 win. "I feel like there's been pick-your-spots and limited opportunities [vs. lefties], but just like any other pitcher, you gotta go up there and do what you do. I felt comfortable in the box today."
The rookie outfielder must have felt cozy at the plate in Saturday's 5-2 loss as well, because he hit his second homer off a lefty in as many days in the seventh inning. This time, Jones made the Cubs' David Peterson the victim of an opposite field, bases-empty blast that cut through the twisting Chicago air at 106 mph.
Jones has actually looked comfortable most days since his second major league call-up on June 5.

Shane Drohan turned in six strong innings in a bounce-back outing, while the Brewers broke the game open with a five-run fifth inning fueled by home runs from Brice Turang and Jake Bauers. After dropping two of three to the Giants to open their California road trip, Milwaukee got back on track tonight with a 6-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.
After neither team managed to score in the first, Bauers and Garrett Mitchell led off the top of the second with back-to-back singles off Angels starter Ryan Johnson. Up next was Cooper Pratt, who slapped a line drive into left field. With Bauers rounding third, Angels left fielder Jose Siri charged the ball in an attempt to gun him down at the plate but couldn't come up with it cleanly. By the time the dust settled, Pratt had reached second, Mitchell advanced to third, and Bauers had scored the Brewers' first run of the game.
Neither team scored again until the fifth, when Johnson walked Pratt to open the frame. Turang then hit a towering fly ball that had just enough carry to clear the center-field fence.
Johnson continued to unravel, allowing Jackson Chourio to single before walking William Contreras to put another rally in motion. He managed just one more out—a sharp lineout off the bat of Christian Yelich—before being pulled in favor of Jose Fermín, whose second pitch to Bauers, a slider low and inside, hung just long enough. Bauers crushed it 424 feet into the seats to make it 6-0, a lead that proved to be more than enough with Drohan on the mound.
Drohan was perfect the first time through the order. In the fourth, he allowed back-to-back singles to Zach Neto and Nolan Schanuel before bouncing back to get Jorge Soler to ground into an inning-ending double play. He surrendered a two-run homer to Denzer Guzman in the fifth, bringing the Angels within four, but retired the side in order in the sixth to finish his night. After allowing five earned runs against Colorado in his previous outing, Drohan responded with one of his better starts of the season, earning his sixth win. He's now gone at least 5 2/3 innings in all six of his starts during the month of July.

"This is not very role model of me, but I'm gonna get on the highest dose of Ozempic," she sniped in a July 30 TikTok video, "and I'm going to become so skinny, you're gonna tell me I need a burger, because the way that people body shame me is f--king disgusting."

Management attributed the contract sales decline to faster-than-predicted VPG moderation at Bluegreen as the company lapped the high-growth launch period of HGV Max.
Sales execution fell short of expectations in the back half of the quarter, specifically localized to high-volume operations in Orlando and Myrtle Beach.
The company observed a shift in transaction mix toward trust-based sales and new buyers; while these carry lower average VPG, management views them as critical for long-term embedded value.
Tour growth remained robust at 6%, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of growth and indicating that recent softness is an execution issue rather than a demand-related trend.

Well, this one was a dud. Coming off a series sweep of the Cleveland Guardians, the Tampa Bay Rays' offense remained quiet at the plate and dropped the opener to the Texas Rangers by a score of 4-1.
Griffin Jax got the start for the Rays and was serviceable, allowing just a pair of runs over 5.2 innings of work. He punched out ten, walked three, and allowed five hits. Only one of the two runs he allowed was earned. The effort should have been enough to earn his seventh win of the season. Instead, he left with his eighth loss of the year.
The real story of the night was the Rays offense, or lack thereof. Outside of Aranda and Caminero, who each tallied a pair of hits, the rest of the lineup mustered just one hit. Cal Quantrill held the Rays to just one run an two hits over 5.1 innings of work. He punched out seven and walked just one.
Trailing 2-0, the Rays did threaten in the bottom of the fourth and for a brief moment it looked as if they were poised to take the lead and potentially send Cal Quantrill to the showers early. After a leadoff strikeout by Yandy Diaz, who's struggles at the plate continued Tuesday night, Jonathan Aranda singled and later advance to third on a double by Caminero. Mullins then reached on catcher's interference to load the bases for Chandler Simpson. Then, shockingly, Simpson found a way to hit into a groundball double play as he slapped a groundball right back to Quantrill who quickly threw home to start a 1-2-3 double play to end the inning.

Baseball fans in Greenville were in for a wild night on Wednesday. They witnessed a home run and a full-fledged brawl within a matter of seconds. During Greenville Drive's victory over the Hub City Spartanburgers, a home run celebration by one of the Red Sox's top prospects sparked a benches-clearing brawl as players from both teams clashed on the field. The 19-year-old Red Sox prospect was eventually ejected from the game.
"Red Sox #3 prospect Justin Gonzales got ejected for slapping the catcher after his home run," Jomboy Media captioned their X post.
Against Hub City, Gonzales drove in the winning runs with a massive three-run blast. He came to bat with Greenville already leading and extended it to 13-6. After launching his 13 homer of the season, Gonzales took his time around the bases while admiring his shot. As he crossed home plate, catcher Cal Stark threw some words in Gonzales' way, which clearly did not sit well with the young outfielder.
Teammates rushed in to hold him back, but keeping the 6-foot-5, 210-pound Gonzales in check was easier said than done. Even the umpires were reduced to mere spectators as Gonzales broke free and slapped Stark's mask, which absorbed most of the impact of the slap.
As the incident unfolded, both teams flooded the field, and the heat of the moment was hard to miss. Meanwhile, Gonzales' Greenville teammates struggled to get him away from the field and inside the dugout.

The NFL is getting a double dose of the Paul brothers this week.
Days after former NFL quarterback-slash-Las Vegas Raiders minority owner-slash-Fox Sports NFL color commentator Tom Brady slapped Logan Paul at Fanatics Fest, Logan's brother, Jake Paul, laid out his plans to join the NFL.
"I mean, it's pretty simple," Jake Paul said in an interview at Fanatics Fest. "Really all it's gonna take is just me, after boxing, practicing some routes. I have a couple teams and coaches that I've already talked to that are interested in bringing me on to the team. It's really going to be quite easy."
PAUL BROTHERS: Tom Brady, Logan Paul continue feud with NSFW greeting at World Cup
Paul, 29, rose to fame on Vine and YouTube in the early 2010s. After a brief acting career from 2016, he began his pro boxing career in 2020. Since then, he's compiled a 12-2 record in 14 professional fights, with seven wins by knockout. Paul's most recent match was against British boxer Anthony Joshua and ended in Paul's second loss – and his first loss via knockout – as well as a double jaw break.

Aston Villa have launched an ambitious loan bid for Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho. TalkSPORT broke the news, relayed by Transfer Feed, revealing that Villa are trying to lock down personal terms with the 21-year-old Argentine after inserting a conditional obligation-to-buy clause into the proposal.
Stamford Bridge officials haven't formally greenlit a temporary exit just yet. Still, Garnacho's name sits firmly on the transfer list. That in itself is a staggering turn of events. Chelsea spent £40 million to ****** him from Manchester United only last August, yet his stay in West London has turned sour fast.
Speaking publicly about the situation, Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso didn't hide the interest brewing elsewhere. He acknowledged that sporting directors are actively locked in talks, expressing hope that the saga ends on good terms for everyone involved. Chelsea initially slapped a £42.5 million price tag on the wide man. In fact, both Garnacho and Nicolas Jackson were dangled in front of Villa during negotiations for Morgan Rogers.
Things haven't gone to plan. Not even close. Garnacho arrived in West London with plenty of fanfare, but his 2025/26 Premier League campaign was an absolute grind. Opta data tells a grim story: 24 appearances, 1,268 minutes on the pitch, and a solitary goal paired with four ****** ists. He took 33 shots all season and managed an abysmal shooting accuracy of just 21%.
Compare that to his final year at Old Trafford. He bagged six goals and two ****** ists across 36 league matches for United, looking every bit like a top-tier talent in the making. That sharp drop in composure inside the penalty box has spooked plenty of onlookers.

They moved on from former top draft pick Joey Bosa and let Odafe Oweh walk. Tuli Tuipulotu is becoming the cornerstone of the Chargers' defense, and he is getting more respect as a result.
In a recent article, Bobby Kownack breaks down Tuli Tuipulotu making the NFL top 100 players list. Here is what he had to say about Tuipulotu:
"Incremental improvements through his first three years led to a certified breakout for Tuipulotu last season. The 23-year-old officially emerged from the shadow of his pass-rushing mentor Khalil Mack and lapped the rest of L.A's edge defenders, as well, leading the team in sacks for a second straight campaign to make his first Pro Bowl. His 13 sacks doubled his career total, and his pressure percentage jumped from 10.4 across 2023-24 to 15.6. Now, the question is whether he has yet another leap in store for 2026."
Tuli Tuipulotu continues to develop his game, and this past season, he put it all together, leading to a Pro Bowl nod for him. When teams face the Chargers, #45 is the main guy they are preparing for all week long. Getting on the NFL's top 100 players list is just the beginning for Tuli. This upcoming season should bring even more dominance for the former Trojan.

CLEVELAND — Guardians outfielder Petey Halpin hit the first home run of his career, and hitting coach Grant Fink knew what was coming once the rookie returned to the dugout.
It’s not often anyone welcomes a slap to the face, but this circumstance fit that bill.
For the last month or so, as mostly a joke, Fink has slapped Halpin before games to sort of get him ready, in a sense, and wake him up a bit. It reached a point that Halpin joked that once he hit his first career home run, he’d slap Fink back.
“We’ve talked about it a bunch of times and he was like, ‘Go for it, I’d love to see it,’” Halpin said with a smile. “Every time he hit me, I’m like, ‘My home run’s coming.’ He’s like, ‘I want you to.’”
So as Halpin rounded the bases after his first home run in the second inning of the Guardians’ 13-4 win over the Minnesota Twins on July 20, Fink was getting ready for his end of the bargain in the dugout. The piper must be paid.

Tom Brady and Logan Paul are no strangers to taking shots at one another. Their latest exchange saw the seven-time Super Bowl champion slap the WWE star at a recent event, but some are wondering whether it was a publicity stunt to draw attention to Brady's possible introduction to WWE. The strike came a day after the former football star expressed his desire to be invited into the wrestling ring.
On Friday, July 17, Tom Brady and Logan Paul shared the stage for a panel at Fanatics Fest in New York. Afterward, the two reportedly got into a heated discussion that ended with Brady slapping Paul across the face.
A video of the exchange made rounds on social media, with the two men standing close to each other, talking seriously. At one point, Brady removes his hand from his pocket and slaps Paul. NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns stepped between them to prevent the incident from escalating further, and Brady and Paul went their separate ways.
As of writing, the video has been viewed 9 million times, and many users aren't convinced the beef between them is real. "This is the worst scripted scenario I've ever seen and I watched Jersey Shore," one person commented.
Later, both Paul and Brady posted the video on their respective social media accounts. The influencer-turned-wrestler claimed he was slapped because he was "roasting" him over beating him at a flag football match. "Horrible example for the kids," he wrote.

Retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady slapped YouTuber and WWE star Logan Paul in the face while on stage at Fanatics Fest in New York City on Friday.
The two engaged in a seemingly heated verbal altercation before Brady let Paul have it with a swift slap. New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Town, who stood behind the two onstage as they argued, stepped between Brady and Paul when the argument turned physical.
Brady and Paul were quickly escorted off-stage. It has yet to be confirmed whether the incident was staged, either as a preview for a surprise Brady WWE debut or as extra clout and hype as Paul, who is recovering from a torn tricep, said he is ready to return to the ring.
The seven-time Super Bowl champ shared footage of the altercation on X, calling Paul a "dork":

Prominent neocloud company Nebius (NBIS) has inked a billion-dollar agreement with Reflection AI to provide AI compute through 2029. Under the terms of the deal, Reflection AI will gain access to Nebius's capacity of Nvidia's (NVDA) GB300 chips. Although not the latest generation of Nvidia chips (that distinction belongs to the Rubin GPU), the GB300 is a high-performance system built on Blackwell Ultra GPU technology.
The deal would represent annual revenues of about $290 million throughout its tenure if spread evenly. Notably, this would be close to 55% of the company's total revenues in 2025.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has undoubtedly been the biggest theme in the stock market over the past few years, with many AI-focused companies delivering spectacular gains. But as the sector matures, investors are beginning to look beyond industry giants like Nvidia Corporation (NVDA) and explore other parts of the AI supply chain that stand to benefit from the next phase of growth. One of the biggest winners from this shift has been Micron Technology (MU), which has enjoyed a stellar rally during the first half of 2026, outperforming many other AI-related stocks that have struggled to maintain their momentum.
The company's strong performance has been fueled by booming demand for its memory and storage chips, which are essential for AI workloads and data centers. At the same time, tight supply has pushed memory prices higher, creating an ideal environment for Micron. Now, the company is back in the spotlight after announcing an investment in Taiwanese wafer manufacturer GlobalWafers to help finance its new wafer fabrication facility in Sherman, Texas. The move is part of Micron's broader strategy to strengthen the United States semiconductor supply chain while supporting its long-term manufacturing expansion.

Artificial intelligence has become the office's newest power tool. But when every employee starts reaching for it, someone eventually has to pay the bill.
Venture capitalist and Social Capital founder Chamath Palihapitiya believes many companies are about to discover just how expensive that bill has become. Speaking to CNBC on July 14, he said executives may have far less visibility into AI spending than they think, thanks to a growing trend known as "tokenmaxxing"—the heavy use of AI models across an organization.
