Aaron Rodgers is dropping more clues about the woman he says he's married to.
During the Thursday, September 10, episode of the Not Just Football with Cam Heyward podcast, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, 42 — who has kept his wife, Brittani, entirely out of the spotlight — was asked if she actually existed given what's been said online.
"Yeah," Rodgers said, adding that he doesn't care about what others may think.
"In 2017, I met my wife, and at the time she was leaving the States and going back to Europe," he began. "And my biggest regret is not begging her to stay or just proposing right there because that sent me into a tailspin."
The Super Bowl champ had two failed relationships after that. He dated former pro race car driver Danica Patrick from 2018 to 2020, and then he was in a relationship with Shailene Woodley, whom he was engaged to in 2021.

The NFL star, 42, opened up like never before in a two-part episode of the podcast, Not Just Football with Cam Heyward. In the Thursday, September 10 episode, Rodgers revealed actress Shailene Woodley lied about their split back when their engagement ended in 2022.
"I propose and she says yes. Now, she maybe felt like she was forced to make a decision. She could have said no," he said. "But not a couple days after that she tells me, you know, 'Before we get married, I gotta go [expletive] this guy,' and I'm like — because her story is that I ruined her life and gave her crazy depression because I left her. The episode wasted no time getting into Rodgers' thoughts on why he believes he's so polarizing, to which he called out "hypocrisy" in the media.
"Everybody loved hearing my takes on Colin Kaepernick when I said he was one of the top 64 quarterbacks in the league," Rodgers said. "They loved my takes when there was a shooting that occurred years and years ago during Obama's presidency. Somebody yelled out some anti-muslim rhetoric during the moment of silence, which I thought was so disrespectful. And I said after the game, the first thing I said was, 'There's no place for that kind of hate in this world. Regardless of what happened [or] what you think happened.'… I said something about that and President Obama sent me a hand-written note afterward. And everybody loved that part. They enjoyed my takes. Mina Kimes had me to her house for a feature I did. All of these people were my friends in the media. Until I came about against COVID."
It's not exactly disputable that Rodgers gets no benefit of the doubt from the media after being a genuine media favorite for a long time. To tie it back to his vaccination status is probably pretty on point.

Mike McCarthy is wasting little time putting his own stamp on the Pittsburgh Steelers, with the new head coach set to end one of Mike Tomlin's longest-running traditions before the 2026 season begins.
Rather than sticking with permanent captains, McCarthy has confirmed that Pittsburgh will use a weekly captain format, giving different players the opportunity to take on a leadership role throughout the season.

The NFL and the NFL Players ******* ociation have agreed to a new three-strike formula that will trigger automatic suspensions for repeated violations of five specific safety rules: hip-drop tackles, horse-collar tackles, launching, hits on defenseless players, and blindside blocks.
Per the NFLPA, the new procedure doesn't commence until the 2026 regular season. Which means that players who were fined for any of the five specific rules won't carry them into the games that count.
That's good news for any of the various players who were dinged for the infractions that otherwise would have counted toward a potential suspension.
It applies to Cardinals safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, who was fined $7,148 for a hit on a defenseless player in Week 2 of the preseason. And to Cardinals safety Wydett Williams, who was fined $4,935 for a hit on a defenseless player in the same game.
And to Bengals linebacker Shaka Heyward, who was fined $5,972 for a hip-drop tackle in Week 2 of the preseason. (He's currently on Cincinnati's practice squad.) And to Chiefs tight end Jake Briningstool, who was fined $4,972 in Week 2 of the preseason for a blindside block.

One of the biggest questions around the NFL pertaining to Aaron Donald's return to the Los Angeles Rams is about whether or not he can still be the same Aaron Donald he was during his original run, when he was the best defensive player in football.

In 2025, there were just two interior defensive lineman 35 years old or older who played an NFL game. That's relevant, of course, because that's how old Donald is now. One was 36-year-old Cameron Heyward, one of the best defensive tackles of his era, who started all 17 games for the Pittsburgh Steelers and earned his second second-team All-Pro honor, and sixth All-Pro nod overall.

The Pittsburgh Steelers extended defensive lineman Keeanu Benton with a 4-year, $72 million deal late Friday night, according to reports.
Benton's rookie contract concludes after this year. This four-year extension runs from 2027-30. The $18 million annual value makes him the highest-paid defensive lineman in team history.
At 6-foot-4 and 309 pounds, Benton played in all 17 games during the 2025 season and totaled 51 tackles, including six stops for loss of yardage and 5 1/2 sacks. He was one of the team's two second-round picks during the 2023 draft out of Wisconsin.

On Saturday, the Steelers announced that former general manager Kevin Colbert, offensive guard turned beloved radio personality Craig Wolfley, and cornerback J.T. Thomas would be inducted into the Hall of Honor. The 2026 Hall of Honor class will be welcomed during the Steelers' Week 3 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals on September 27.
Colbert, who served as the Steelers' director of football operations (2000-2010), general manager (2010-2016), and vice president in addition to his GM role (2016-2022), played a big part in shaping a talented Pittsburgh roster during the 2010s, including home-run picks like Ben Roethlisberger, Troy Polamalu, Maurkice Pouncey, Antonio Brown, Cameron Heyward, T.J. Watt, and more.
Wolfley, who was drafted by the Steelers in the fifth round of the 1980 NFL Draft, made 102 starts during his 10-year stint in Pittsburgh. He served as a sideline reporter for the Steelers Radio Network from 2002 to 2020 before taking over as the Steelers' color commentator on radio broadcasts from 2021 to 2025. "One of the hardest things I did in TV was maybe a year or two ago, saying I thought that the Steelers and Mike Tomlin should have a conversation about him leaving. I was very clear, I was like, Mike Tomlin is unfireable, I don't believe he should be fired. But I do believe that maybe the Steelers and Mike T, if a Super Bowl is the goal, could benefit from a conversation about is this the right thing going forward," Clark explained.
The comment triggered intense backlash from both ends of a divided fan base.
"In the same conversation I got from the people that hated him, 'What you mean he's unfireable?' And then from the people that loved him, 'You said Coach should be fired!' Tell me how those two things correlate, you dummies," Clark noted.

Troy Polamalu is revered in Pittsburgh Steelers lore as an instinctive football genius. But behind his Hall of Fame highlight reel was safety partner Ryan Clark, who routinely had to fix the backend coverages Polamalu abandoned when following his instincts.
Appearing on the "Not Just Football with Cam Heyward" podcast with Cam Heyward, Clark revealed what it was really like playing in tandem with Polamalu. Clark recalled a specific game against the Oakland Raiders where Polamalu decided to abandon his ******* igned quarter coverage to jump a short route.
"Troy comes up to me and goes, 'RC, we get that formation again. I'mma jump the hitch.' Whoa, Troy, that means that ******* ody's going to be on the seam, Troy. No one's covering the tight end on the go. He tells me, 'They'll never throw it.' So now I'm effed up. I'm playing the middle like a dummy. We get the formation? Exactly what he thought. They run the formation. He take off 43, to the hitch. Guess what they threw? The seam," Clark recounted.
Despite the occasional broken ******* ignment, Clark never voiced frustration to Polamalu or defensive coordinator ******* LeBeau. Clark recognized that restricting Polamalu's freedom would ultimately weaken the team.
"And I never complained to him cuz I never wanted him to feel, cuz he loved me so much, I never want him to feel that him doing and being who God made him to be took away from my ability to feed my family," Clark explained. "You can't tell somebody who can fly, right, to wear a weighted vest. It would have made us a worse team."

During his prime with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Antonio Brown established himself as the premier wide receiver in the NFL. But behind the scenes, former Steelers safety Ryan Clark saw the seeds of future turmoil being planted long before Brown's public breakdown and eventual departure from Pittsburgh.
Appearing on the "Not Just Football with Cam Heyward" podcast with current Steelers captain Cameron Heyward, Clark reflected on the locker room dynamics surrounding Brown's rise to stardom.
Heyward recalled Clark's immediate, emotional reaction the day Pittsburgh signed Brown to his first major contract extension. He shared a story about how Brown had said something to former defensive coordinator **** LeBeau, and the defense, including Clark, did not take kindly to it.
He recalled how emotional Clark became when he heard that Brown had been paid. Heyward asked Clark if he remembered what he said in response.
"Yeah, he's gonna F it up," said Clark. "The entire Antonio Brown thing, just makes me sad, you know, how it played out."

Pat McAfee just dropped a major announcement, and no, it has nothing to do with ESPN. McAfee revealed some news that could make Latrobe a little more interesting for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
On Thursday, it was reported that The Pat McAfee Show is heading back to training camp in Latrobe at St. Vincent College for the second year in a row. The Pat McAfee Show will arrive at training camp on August 3.
McAfee, a close friend of Aaron Rodgers who also shared a strong professional relationship with Mike McCarthy, will no doubt look to interview several high-profile Steelers players during training camp, such as T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward, or even a few rookies from the 2026 NFL draft class.
