Unilever and McCormick & Co. have decided to look for a buyer for the UK group's Colman's mustard.
Ahead of the planned deal to combine the bulk of Unilever's food business with McCormick, the Colman's brand is going on the block.
"A decision has been taken to market the Colman's brand and **** ets to potential buyers in order to proactively seek to address potential competition concerns from the planned combination of Unilever Foods and McCormick," the FMCG giant said in a statement today (27 August).
The companies announced their transaction, which valued the Unilever food **** ets at around $44.8bn, in March.

Just a few days ago, the Pittsburgh Steelers kicked off their 2026 season with an impressively lopsided 28-9 victory over the Green Bay Packers. The Steelers offensive line got off to a tough start on Thursday before settling in once both teams' reserves took over. Collectively, the Steelers allowed 10 pressures and 3 sacks in pass protection. Four of those pressures were at the hands of the starting lineup — Troy Fautanu (2), Mason McCormick (1), and Dylan Cook (1) — and a fifth pressure was credited to running back Travis Homer, who started the game with both Jaylen Warren and Rico Dowdle in street clothes for this game. The rushing attack managed just 2.7 yards per carry. And Fautanu was tagged for both a false start penalty and an offensive holding call.

The San Francisco 49ers dealt with so many injuries throughout their 2025 campaign, that it was almost difficult for the team to keep enough players on the roster at times, and now it looks like these issues are creeping up again.
Before Wednesday's training camp session, ESPN's Nick Wagoner reported that wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, running back Jordan James and safety Malik Mustapha are all injured and won't practice.
According to Wagoner, Pearsall is dealing with knee swelling that stems from the PCL injury that he suffered in 2025. That injury cost him significant time last year, and with the team reportedly considering all options, including surgery, this could be a long-term issue.
James suffered a fractured rib that will keep him off the field for some time. The 22-year-old was battling 2025 draft pick Kaelon Black to be Christian McCaffrey's top backup, but this will certainly impact that competition. For now, Black will be the guy with Patrick Taylor Jr. and Sincere McCormick filling in.
Mustapha has a hamstring strain, which will keep him out of Wednesday's practice. However, it's unclear how significant the strain is. George Kittle missed five weeks with a hamstring last year. Outback Steakhouse's owner Bloomin' Brands closed 21 locations in 2025 and said it would close another 22 locations in 2026 as leases expire, according to its third quarter earnings call.

Four former Denver Broncos players hit the NFL's transaction wire in recent days.
Offensive tackle Marques **** , who was waived by the Broncos last month, was picked up by the Miami Dolphins. **** (6-5, 312 pounds) originally joined the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Kentucky in 2025. He spent part of his rookie season on Denver's practice squad. The Edmonton Elks have also placed **** on their negotiations list, so if the lineman ever runs out of NFL opportunities, the CFL could be a fallback option for him.
Elsewhere in the league, the San Francisco 49ers waived running back Sincere McCormick, who cleared waivers and is now a free agent. McCormick (5-8, 205 pounds) spent part of last season on the Broncos' practice squad.
Additionally, long snapper Zach Triner was released by the New York Giants last week. Triner, who won Super Bowl LV with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, spent most of the spring with Denver in 2025 before being cut. He had a stint with the Washington Commanders last season before landing in New York this offseason.
Finally, wide receiver Joaquin Davis was waived by the Minnesota Vikings. Davis signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina Central last spring, but did not make the 53-man roster as a rookie. After clearing waivers, Davis will look to find a new NFL home as a free agent.

Everything up to this point in the Pittsburgh Steelers offseason has been for show. Voluntary workouts are great but until players are required to be there, the football isn't quite the same. So today, the Steelers kick off their first mandatory OTAs of the year and we will get our best look at this new team and new staff.

The gap between second-year quarterback Will Howard and rookie Drew Allar showed itself during voluntary workouts and we predict this week, when the heat gets turned up, Howard is going to widen that gap even more.
We have heard almost nothing about rookies Gennings Dunker and Max Iheanachor and that changes this week. The coaching staff shuffled Troy Fautanu and Mason McCormick to the left, making for an entirely new right side. This week, that new right side will include Dunker and Iheanachor and they will both impress those in attendance.
The Steelers defense has quietly flown under the radar with so much talk about new head coach Mike McCarthy and the changes on offense but defensive coordinator Patrick Graham has been working hard. We expect the new-look Steelers defense to wow people thanks to the new additions and continued improvement of its young stars.
