An expert has broken down Queen Camilla's beach clean-up moment with King Charles on their Caribbean tour. She arrived over the weekend to join her husband for the final leg in Antigua and Barbuda on November 1, 2026. The monarch began the nine-day tour on his own on October 27, 2026, covering the Bahamas and Guyana before the final leg.
An expert has observed that Queen Camilla looked "uncomfortable" while helping clear a beach in Antigua, even blurting out a quick four-word warning to dodge a painful slip-up. King Charles and Queen Camilla joined local volunteers on the sands of Fort James Beach for the environmental initiative. The Queen opted to take off her shoes and walk barefoot to navigate the shoreline during the task.
However, per the Daily Express, lip-reading specialist Nicola Hickling has warned that walking shoeless amid a busy royal party carries its own risks. On examining the arrival footage, she remarked that Camilla's face was "worth watching here." The comment came as the royal made her way over the sand alongside her husband.
Hickling told the outlet that the Queen looked "slightly uncomfortable" as she abruptly moved away from King Charles. It was "possibly to avoid having her toes trodden on." Amid the clumsy shift, Her Majesty reportedly uttered the striking four-word line: "I must go easy."
The moment, however, passed without incident, and the couple carried on cheerfully. They even playfully crossed their litter pickers like swords, then took turns placing collected rubbish into a black bag. After that, the royal pair listened to Jennifer Meranto, founder and chief executive of Adopt a Coastline. She outlined the crucial effort to safeguard the island's shore. Two of the group's youth ambassadors joined Meranto for the briefing.

King Charles and Queen Camilla have had a successful visit to Antigua and Barbuda, following on from His Majesty's solo visits to the Bahamas and Guyana. On Thursday they will be touching down on UK soil, just in time for Bonfire Night. However, it may not be a big celebration in the royal household, and that's because of this one reason…
The royal couple have two dogs, Bluebell, a rescue Jack Russell Terrier adopted by Camilla from the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in 2012 and Moley, a part Jack Russell Terrier adopted from the same place in 2025.
Camilla posed in the grounds of her Wiltshire home with Moley (@ Chris Jackson/Getty Images)
It is well known that dogs can struggle with the loud bangs that come with fireworks, and are often unsettled during this time of year. Plus, the Jack Russell breed in particular, being a non-hunting breed, is said to not cope well with the sounds. So, Charles and Camilla may be spending their post-travel evening comforting their pooches if they aren't happy.
Advice on the Battersea Dogs Home website includes playing classical music to soothe and calm your pet, giving them a long-lasting chew to keep them distracted and also drawing the curtains to block out the light from fireworks.

Quenton Nelson knows how hard it is to block Jeffery Simmons. When Nelson was a guard for the Colts and Simmons was a defensive tackle for the **** ans, the two played against each other 13 times. And when Nelson got traded to the Seahawks on Tuesday, he thought he was going to get a break from facing Simmons.
That didn't happen. Shortly after Nelson got traded to the Seahawks, Simmons got traded to the Bears. Who play the Seahawks on Monday night, in the first game for both players on their new teams.
Nelson said he considers Simmons one of the best opponents he's faced, and he's ready for a big challenge when the Bears visit Seattle on Monday night.
"He's an amazing football player and competitor. I was like, Man, can't get away from this guy. It'll be another battle against him this week," Nelson said.
Nelson vs. Simmons will be the most-watched offensive lineman vs. defensive lineman battle of this NFL season, as two All-Pros go at it again, now on new teams with Super Bowl aspirations.

Borussia Mönchengladbach are in talks to extend Wael Mohya's contract beyond 2028.
According to Sky Germany, the club's management want to reward the 17-year-old's development. In doing so, Mohya will reportedly double his salary which will see him earn around €2m per year.
Mohya has been a star of this Gladbach side in 2026/27, having featured in all nine matches across all competitions this season, while registering a goal and ****** ist in the Foals' Matchday 7 victory over VfB Stuttgart, their first win of the season.
Praising Mohya's performance against Stuttgart, Head of Sport Rouven Schröder said: "The way he dribbles forward, the audacity with which he sets up the goal … Hats off! […] very happy that Wael showed what he's capable of."
Gladbach head coach Alexander Blessin also praised the club's rising star. "He's a very young guy who's open and laughs, he doesn't care too much about pressure," expressed Blessin, who lauded Mohya's attacking abilities. "His ability to relieve pressure in one-on-one situations is crucial."

Dejan Kulusevski has revealed how a "change to my nervous system" enabled him to return with Tottenham after a 17-month injury layoff left him fearing the end of his football career.
The Swedish midfielder was introduced to a rapturous reception in the 87th minute of the club's 3-1 home victory against Coventry last week and followed that up with another substitute appearance in Saturday's win at Chelsea as Spurs continued their improvement after a poor start to the Premier League season.
Kulusevski had multiple setbacks after knee surgery in May 2025. But a second procedure in March finally set him on the road to recovery.
Speaking ahead of Saturday's match against Crystal Palace, the 26-year-old Kulusveski told SpursPlay: "It had been like one year and a couple of months and I still can't walk on the stairs. I can't walk on the stairs like a normal guy. I have to play football so in my head I'm not going to give up, but I have to think that if this doesn't work out, what do I do?
"I went to a physio in Sweden. He was able to change my nervous system and then it felt different. When I did the exercises, I said, 'I don't have pain, like this hurt yesterday. Why is this not hurting today?'

Titans head coach Robert Saleh says his team will not hold a fire sale ahead of the trade deadline. But the offer they got from the Bears for defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons was too good to pass up.
The Bears traded their next two first-round draft picks to the ****** ans for Simmons, and Saleh said that a team in the ****** ans' position couldn't realistically have passed that up.
"No one's shopping any of our guys, but like I told our guys, when you don't close out games, and you're standing here at 1-6, teams are going to start fishing," Saleh said. "And eventually a team threw a hook big enough that I don't think any of us could've said no to."
Saleh said he considers Simmons "by far" the best defensive tackle in the NFL and hates to see him go.
"It's tough. Jeff is an elite football player and he's an even better person," Saleh said. "He's an elite leader. I've been outspoken on that. It sucks. Everything about it sucks. Unfortunately, necessary."

Angelique S. Chengelis, Connor Earegood, John Niyo, and Bob Wojnowski of The Detroit News predict the outcome of Saturday's Michigan-Rutgers game at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey (12:30 p.m., Big Ten Network/94.7 FM).
▶ Angelique S. Chengelis: Rutgers coach Greg Schiano has always been tied to defense, but the Scarlet Knights have struggled defensively this season and ranks 128th in scoring. That could make this the "get-right" game for Michigan's offense, which is sorely in need of a confidence-building performance, especially from the run game and offensive line. Michigan's No. 3-ranked defense likely won't have the challenge it was expecting now that Rutgers QB Dylan Lonergan has been ruled out. He left last week's game at Northwestern in the first quarter because of a hit to the head and backup AJ Surace has struggled with six touchdowns against five interceptions this season. Michigan's defensive backs were expected to have their hands full facing 6-foot-6 receiver KJ Duff, but he is "doubtful" for the game, according to the Big Ten availability report. Pick: Michigan, 31-10
▶ Connor Earegood: Rejoice, Jason Beck. You're going to save your job this week. This Michigan offense may be wasting one of the nation's best defenses, but it will get an important tune-up against Rutgers. You know, the Rutgers team that lost to UMass, which is 1-3 in Mid-American Conference play. Oh, Rutgahs. Its availability report suggests some key starters will not play. Its starting QB is hurt, its star receiver is doubtful. A one-read quarterback could probably pick its defense apart at full strength. That's a good opponent for a true freshman in Tommy Carr to face in his second career start, after the **** er of the unknown wore off last week and showed you that maybe, just maybe, it isn't the guy under center who's the problem but rather the guy calling his plays. If Beck takes some inspiration from the Michigan Stadium videoboard and runs the ball between the tackles from time to time, Michigan should roll to an easy win. If it's another stinker, it will make for an interesting crowd in next week's rivalry game. Pick: Michigan, 34-7
▶ John Niyo: If Rutgers can't cure Michigan's offensive woes, nothing will. Greg Schiano's days appear numbered in Piscataway, and the statistical numbers make it obvious why: Rutgers ranks 128th nationally in scoring defense and has given up 161 points in four Big Ten games thus far. Of course, that's more points than the Wolverines have scored in seven games this season. But this defense should be the cure Michigan's inefficient run game needs, and no matter who's playing quarterback, there'll be opportunities to create explosive plays in the pass game. In four Big Ten games, Rutgers already has given up 15 plays of 30-plus yards. Pick: Michigan, 34-16
▶ Bob Wojnowski: There's no such thing as a breather for the Wolverines, with six of their seven games decided on the final possession. Last week's OT loss to Indiana wa

The Chargers returned from their Week 7 bye with offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel addressing the media Thursday, giving a look at the work to get the offense on track ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Rams.
McDaniel did extensive film work with quarterback Justin Herbert. He said they watched "probably 4 hours" of tape together and called it "a very healthy experience." He stressed their strong relationship and a constructive approach to the struggles.
"There's a healthy way to be accountable, so you're not misdirecting blame to yourself when things aren't working," McDaniel said.
The Chargers remain the NFL's only winless team at 0-6, with the offense ranking last in points per game (15.0) after a season-low six points in the Week 6 loss to the Chiefs. Harbaugh confirmed Wednesday that McDaniel would keep the call sheet, stating, "We're very confident in Mike and his talent, his work ethic and his ability. We continue to be."
Herbert also recently backed his coordinator. On Wednesday, he said the issues are "not his fault, it's our fault as an offense," adding that "the guys are open" and "plays are being made," while stressing the need for better execution.

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has revealed that a pre-planned rest rather than excessive celebrations kept him on the bench during Wednesday night's emphatic 6-1 DFB-Pokal victory over Magdeburg. Having lifted the Ballon d'Or in London on Monday evening, the 33-year-old England captain watched on as an unused substitute in midweek.
Kane confirmed that Bayern coaching staff had already scheduled his midweek breather prior to Monday's ceremony, where he beat Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe and Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal to become England's first winner since Michael Owen in 2001. Although ready to feature if required, the veteran marksman was spared as Michael Olise netted a brace. Consequently, the forward was able to recover from a few exhausting days.
Speaking as quoted by TNT Sports, Kane explained the decision behind his omission: "I didn't party too hard! I could have played, but to be honest, Danksy [Bayern **** istant Aaron Danks] spoke to me and said they were thinking of trying to give me a break in this game, even before the Ballon d'Or, because I've played a lot of games in the last six weeks or so.
"It just worked well, the guys who started did really well. There was a moment in the game where he was thinking of bringing me on and we scored the fourth goal and killed the game off. All in all, I think it was important to get a rest. It's been a big emotional load, going through the big high on Monday.
"Big game on Saturday now as well [against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga], so I'll train tomorrow and be ready for that."

The Golden State Warriors seem to have landed a gem with the No. 11 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Yaxel Lendeborg has put his name among some of the greatest rookies of all-time with his first-week performance.
After an 0-3 start, the Warriors have won back-to-back games and Lendeborg has filled his role tremendously.
Yes, he's playing alongside a guy named Stephen Curry, who's been unstoppable the past two games − his 44-point night following a perfect shooting night. Still, Curry can't do it alone and with injuries to Jimmy Butler III and Moses Moody, Golden State needs players to step up. Lendeborg has so far.
The 24-year-old rookie has averaged 22.6 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 4.0 ***** ists over his first five games.

A roundup of Southwest Florida high school football games played in Week 11 on Thursday, Oct. 29 and Friday, Oct. 30, 2026.
After a challenging season with a young roster, the Red Knights went out on a high note.
Facing rival Fort Myers, North pounded the rock and came up with some key defensive scores for a running clock victory at Sam Sirianni Field on Thursday night.
"I feel great," North head coach Ira Riggins said. "This team has been through so much this year. It's just fun to see these guys come out and put it all together for the first time versus a very well-known team. Hat's off to Fort Myers – they've always been top notch in this area, and it's always good to get a win versus them."
The Greenies got on the board first, converting a successful onside kick into points on a 33-yard field goal by senior Brayden Russell.

Even when it was pretty, the Carolina Panthers offense kept finding ways to get ugly in Week 8.
Down 27-13 with just under 11 minutes left in Thursday night's matchup against the Green Bay Packers, the Panthers kept themselves alive. Carolina pieced together a gutsy 12-play, 70-yard drive that reached the end zone on an impressive catch-and-run by wideout Jalen **** er.
But instead of sending out kicker Ryan Fitzgerald to make it a seven-point game, head coach Dave Canales opted to go for two points. The try would fall short, as a pass from quarterback Bryce Young was tipped and unable to find its way into the hands of either receiver Tetairoa McMillan or tight end Darren Waller.
Although the failed attempt didn't ultimately matter, with the Panthers losing to that 27-19 score, Canales was asked about the questionable call afterwards.
"For me, it was about knowing what you're gonna do on the next one," he replied. "So, felt good about that one. We had a nice play that we really liked, based on what they were doing. Had an opportunity there in the back of the end zone. But unfortunately, had two guys in the same spot really going for the ball.

Troy Aikman was a three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback with the Dallas Cowboys, and his ties to the franchise have continued long since his retirement in April 2001.
Aikman has been a color commentator and has been paired with Joe Buck for the past 25 years, but there's reportedly friction between the two after Buck has signed a new six-year contract with ESPN to continue as play-by-play man of Monday Night Football, while Aikman hasn't received a formal offer in the last year of his contract. Per Tim Cowlishaw, Aikman said on Wednesday that there's just a "50-50" chance he will be a broadcaster next season.
If Aikman were to seek other opportunities, he may have one waiting for him with the Dallas Cowboys. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones appears to love the prospect of bringing Aikman back to the organization.
Earlier this week, Jones was asked if he'd consider adding Aikman to the Cowboys' front office, to which Jones said he "could and would."
"He is a successful guy because he is one of the hardest working, most focused people that I've ever been around. Now, when you're around each other, a part of that make up can make it where you can have your ups and downs. But I think the world of him," Jones said, per Cowboys team reporter Tommy Yarrish. "I've seen his image and had it in my eyes since I walked in the NFL. He's outstanding. The answer is not that necessarily we're going to do something more direct with the team at this time, but don't rule it out, it's very possible."

DrewDober credits TerenceCrawford with helping him adjust his approach against RafaelAlves.

Dober met Crawford at B&B Boxing in Omaha, Nebraska, andrecalls the boxer leaving him bloodied during their first sparringsession. Years later, Crawford offered advice from ringside thatDober says helped him finish Alves at UFC277 in Dallas.
Dober said Crawford switched to southpaw to mirror his stance andbloodied his nose with a jab. He recalled absorbing three punchesfor every one he attempted to throw.

"Terence Crawford bloodied my nose in the first 30 seconds of ourspar. I was a young fighter in a North Omaha gym," Dober wrote onX. "Never heard of the guy they called 'Bud.' He saw I was asouthpaw, switched to southpaw too, and stuck me with one jab. Iwas bleeding like a stuck pig."

Dober followed that advice, finding success in the second roundbefore knocking out Alves with a body punch in the third.

"After thefirst round, I'm going over to my corner and I see Terence Crawfordin that front row. And he's just yelling at me, 'Drew, Drew.' So, Ilook at him and he goes, 'Go to the body, go to the body.' I waslike, if Crawford says it. So, in the second round, I started goingto the body and started finding success. Pat McAfee did not enjoy his time in Utah last weekend as "College GameDay" was in Salt Lake City for the Utes' win over the Houston Cougars. The day before the broadcast the college shared a social media post with students saying things about McAfee that made him fear for his safety and alluded to the ****** assination of Charlie Kirk. One person who does not feel any sympathy for McAfee is Michelle Beadle, the former ESPN personality who currently hosts "Run It Back" on FanDuel TV. Beadle appeared on Thursday's episode of "The Dan Le Batard Show" and was asked to weigh in on McAfee's week.
Beadle made the case that no woman in media could be as "soft" as McAfee and insisted that she was "enjoying every single second" of the fallout this week.

Only five games into his NBA career, former UNC superstar Caleb Wilson is embracing every bit of the Chicago lifestyle.
The Bulls took Wilson fourth overall in the 2026 NBA Draft, needing instant starpower in a big way. Wilson quickly showcased his pro readiness in NBA Summer League action, scoring a debut-record 35 points, then continued to thrive in the preseason.
On a recent episode of pro basketball player Jared Brownidge's "Link with JB podcast," Wilson told Chicago sports fans four things they should know about him.
"Number one, Green Bay sucks," Wilson said. "Number two, we're going to get some good wins and eventually, you guys will think the Chicago Bulls are fire again, if you don't think so already. Number three, I don't like ketchup on my hot dogs anymore. And number four, it's a great day to be in Chicago. That's pretty much it."
That first sentence is a core of Windy City sports fandom. While Green Bay (Wisc.) doesn't have an NBA team, the Packers and Chicago Bears form the NFL's most historic rivalry.

One of the most basic realities of the NFL trade market is that, when a team adds a key player during a given season, someone will be taking a seat.
In Seattle, the "someone" who will be leaving the starting lineup after the arrival of guard Quenton Nelson is Anthony Bradford. With Nelson taking over at left guard and 2025 first-rounder Grey Zabel moving to right guard, former starting right guard Anthony Bradford will move to the bench.
"It's not an easy situation," coach Mike Macdonald told reporters on Thursday. "I thought Anthony played good football for us, and he has, and he's earned a significant role on our team, a starting-level role. It's one of those 'through not around' type of things with AB that is not easy.
"There's no way to sugarcoat it, and he believes this when we say this, how much we love him. The guys love him in the locker room. He's a fantastic teammate. We don't expect him to be jumping over joy in this situation because that's not realistic, but he's going to be a great teammate and he's going to stay ready.
"We know how this league works. You're a play away from him playing every play again. It's not an easy situation, but he's a tough cookie, and the guys will have his back as well and we're behind him as well, but it's not easy."

All Pro guard Quenton Nelson is preparing to make his Seattle Seahawks debut Monday night against the Chicago Bears, giving the Seahawks an eight-time Pro Bowl and three-time All-Pro presence on their offensive line.
But before Nelson takes his first snap in a Seahawks uniform, he has another challenge: moving his life and family from Indianapolis to a place they have never lived.
The Seahawks are working to make that transition as easy as possible while getting their new guard ready for primetime.
Nelson's reputation as a dominant interior lineman preceded his arrival in Seattle. When head coach Mike Macdonald was asked what stood out while watching Nelson's tape, his answer was simple.
"Well, they run it left," Macdonald said. "He's a guy you want to run behind. I know that."

49ers' 7-round 2027 NFL Draft according to PFF mock draft simulator during bye week appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Someone thinks the San Francisco 49ers got a steal in the DeForest Buckner trade. Do the 49ers plan on more deals? But this is a bye week for the 49ers. So let's look ahead to the 2027 NFL Draft and see what the Pro Football Focus mock simulator says they will get.
The 49ers are rolling with a record of 6-1, even though they're coming off a loss to the Falcons. It's looking like they will have a low first-round draft pick in 2027.
It's a great combination when a cornerback can flat-out run and also be a guy who can make tackles. And Brown brings those things to the field, according to NFL Draft Buzz.

NBA rumors: 2 Clippers named as Thunder trade targets in addition to Herb Jones, Ty Jerome appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
After the Oklahoma City Thunder's first loss of the season in a 120-96 blowout to the Dallas Mavericks, will GM Sam Presti make a move for either New Orleans Pelicans' Herb Jones or Memphis Grizzlies' Ty Jerome sooner rather than later? The injuries continue to stack up for the Thunder, as Alex Caruso and Chet Holmgren were both out in addition to Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace's setbacks ahead of Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.
For a team like the LA Clippers, who lost first-round picks for the next five seasons, Derrick Jones Jr. and Kris Dunn have also been mentioned as potential trade targets for Presti, who has more future firsts than any other GM in the NBA. While the Thunder are in no rush to make a trade, Presti will most likely do so at some point before this year's deadline, as ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel noted, per Clutch Scoops.
"The Thunder are going to make at least one trade. That's a given," Siegel said. "We know that Sam Presti is always very adventagous on the trade market. We didn't think that they were going to make a trade last season. And then, Jared McCain fell in their lap because they leveraged some draft picks — first-round and second-round picks — that we're going to be of use to them. We could see something similar happen this year, where it's not going to be a big splashy name; a $20-plus million guy.

NBA rumors: Will Suns use Jalen Green as trade bait to acquire PG help amid early frustrations? appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Phoenix Suns have stumbled out of the gate to a 1-2 record to start the 2026-27 NBA season. Devin Booker totaled just three points in the Suns' last game, a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Jalen Green has also had a rough start to the year.
Recently, ClutchPoints NBA insider Brett Siegel spoke on the possibility of the Suns looking for point guard help in their backcourt.
"Could the Suns look to make a trade for a point guard? Maybe. They're not going to rush into anything right now, given their cap situation, but they do have an interesting contract on their roster… Jalen Green. Does he fit in next to Devin Booker, because neither of those guys are a true point guard… maybe this is the year that (a Green trade) finally goes down," he said, per ClutchPoints on X, formerly Twitter.

We have another $1.8 million in retirement accounts and savings, plus Social Security and a small pension from his old job. No debt, and our kids are on their own.
So this isn't a money problem, but we can't talk about retirement anymore without it turning into a fight. He wants to buy something for $600,000 now that we are empty-nesters, and invest the rest. He has a spreadsheet. I've seen it open on the laptop at the kitchen table at 11 p.m., with property taxes, insurance and the lawn guy all in little columns.
My spouse was awarded $90,000 from my 401(k) in our divorce. How is that fair?
'She's living the dream': My stepmother said I can buy my childhood home for $850,000. Is she taking advantage of me?

If you don't remember, BYU quarterback Bear Bachmeier was a Notre Dame recruiting target as a high schooler, even earning an offer and taking visits to South Bend.
The Irish influence was in his blood with his grandfather being a huge fan. However, Bachmeier initially committed to follow one of his brothers, Tiger, to Stanford, but after a coaching change both decided that BYU was where they wanted to be.
As we all know, during recruiting, Notre Dame isn't the place for everyone, and for Bachmeier, it was a bad experience. Following the game on Saturday he's explain that the Irish disrespected him and his family during the process as shared by John Brice. Bachmeier said "I wasn't going to lose to those guys," as it looked like this game was personal for him.
It's hard to say exactly what happened without more information, but whatever it was, it soured Bachmeier's relationship with Notre Dame and the staff.
Strong quote here from BYUfootball QB Bear Bachmeirer on beating NDFootball: “I don’t like talking about myself but Notre Dame disrespected me & my family pretty badly (in 2023). There was no way I was losing to those guys.” usatodaysports pic.twitter.com/K4Pm8NWlVX

The Cincinnati Bengals hit the bye at 3-2, and if you squint, you can see how this team could've been 5-0 or 1-4. A three-point loss in Pittsburgh.
A five-point loss to Jacksonville after Ja'Marr Chase left with a concussion in the first 18 minutes. Then a 31-24 win in Miami to stop the bleeding.
So who's been the one player this team can't do without? Here are the nominees.
Joe Burrow, QB: 135-of-189 (71.4%), 1,361 yards, 11 touchdowns, three interceptions, and a 104.4 passer rating. That completion percentage leads the NFL. He's done it while losing Colbie Young on the first play in Pittsburgh, Chase early against Jacksonville, and Tee Higgins late in that same game. Four touchdowns in Miami went to Mike Gesicki, Samaje Perine, Tanner Hudson and Chase. That's an MVP spreading the wealth.
Tee Higgins, WR: 27 catches for a team-high 423 yards (15.7 per catch). When Chase was out or limited, Higgins was the guy keeping defenses honest down the field.

The goal that pushed the Minnesota Wild past the Blue Jackets in a 2-1 win Oct. 18 at Grand Casino Arena was shot into an opening roughly the size of a basketball above goalie Cam Talbot's shoulder during a power play in the second period.
More: Columbus Blue Jackets stumble in 2-1 loss to Minnesota Wild
The guy who sent it there, Kirill Kaprizov, leads the NHL with 10 goals in nine games and makes $17 million a season. There wasn't much Talbot could've done, even with an unobstructed view of Kaprizov's shot, but the veteran backstop wore it anyway.
"Yeah, I think I gave him a little bit too much [to shoot at]," Talbot said. "He put it in a great spot, but the other four guys are doing their job. That's my guy. I've got to make that save."
Talbot's answer plus his impressive ability to remain solid into his upper 30s is how he became the first goalie in NHL history to play and win games for nine separate franchises during his Blue Jackets debut Oct. 9 in a victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was the least of the Jackets' concerns in St. Paul, Minnesota, where the Wild forced him to make 32 saves to keep it a one-goal differential.
