As the Chicago Bulls approach the fall with an open roster spot, they've been linked to LA Clippers restricted free agent guard Bennedict Mathurin. The Bulls' reported interest in Mathurin, though, has been overstated, according to a league source who was granted anonymity to describe ongoing deliberations.
New York Times
Marc Stein: The Pelicans and Bulls remain engaged suitors for Clippers RFA Bennedict Mathurin, says one source close to the process. The source adds: "Dallas has not expressed interest at a serious level" thus far. MikeAScotto reported today that Milwaukee has joined the Mathurin chase. — 7/31/2026 x.com
While the Los Angeles Clippers remain interested in re-signing restricted free agent Bennedict Mathurin, the New Orleans Pelicans, Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks, and Dallas Mavericks have expressed sign-and-trade interest in the 24-year-old swingman, league sources told HoopsHype. With that said, there's work to be done by each team if they're going to add Mathurin. — 7/31/2026 HoopsHype

Following recent reports from Kings insider James Ham, speculation has surfaced regarding Zach LaVine's future in Sacramento. If he were to negotiate a buyout with the Kings, he'd have plenty of suitors, a list that could include Golden State.
Given his high-volume 3-point shooting, LaVine would make a great pair in Steve Kerr's offense next to Stephen Curry in a similar role to Klay Thompson, an accurate 3-point shooter who thrived in 11 seasons with the Warriors. Last year, LaVine made just 39 appearances, averaging 19.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.3 ***** ists and 0.7 steals. LaVine's 19.2 points per game were his lowest output since the 2017-18 season, his first with the Chicago Bulls.
However, LaVine's shooting ability has remained throughout his career, as the 31-year-old holds an average of 39.1% from beyond the arc on six attempts per game. That said, it would take strong convincing for LaVine to land with the Warriors if he were bought out, as many other contenders (Detroit and Miami) could provide him with a better chance to win. Golden State's strongest selling point may be their proximity to LaVine's current home in Sacramento.

In his first three seasons in the NBA, San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama has won the Rookie of the Year Award, made two All-Star games, picked up a Defensive Player of the Year award and led his team to the NBA Finals. On Friday, he added to that already impressive list of accomplishments by crossing another item off his NBA superstar checklist.
What's next for Wembanyama? A signature shoe! As part of a new contract extension with Nike, Wembanyama will receive his own shoe line from the company, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
That deal comes weeks after Wembanyama signed a five-year, $252 million extension to stay with the Spurs.
The history of Nike handing out signature shoes to athletes carries quite a bit more weight in the NBA, where the company grew famous after signing Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan to a shoe deal early in Jordan's pro career. Jordan's shoes remain an incredibly popular brand and a big seller for Nike.
Over the years, a number of high-profile basketball stars have received their own shoes through Nike. LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kobe Bryant are among the NBA superstars to release shoes made by the company.

The bulls could cling to something worthy while they watch semiconductor stocks such as Sandisk (SNDK) and Micron (MU) get blown to pieces.
About 72% of S&P 500 stocks are now trading above their 200-day moving average, the strongest market breadth since December 2024, according to data from Barchart (see below). The benchmark index is also holding near record highs.
"You've got essentially two-thirds of S&P 500 companies that are trading above their 200-day moving average. That's relatively healthy and still consistent with the market that is more rotational in nature and not necessarily one that is correctional," Charles Schwab strategist Kevin Gordon said on Yahoo Finance's Opening Bid.
Investors have cashed in their AI bets and have rotated into software, financials, industrials, healthcare, and consumer discretionary stocks for their perceived values. A strong earnings season from many companies, like Coca-Cola (KO) on Tuesday, has helped offset the negative tones stemming from reports out of Alphabet (GOOGL) and Tesla (TSLA).
The market has also been supported by resilient economic data, continued expectations for Federal Reserve rate cuts over the next year, and robust corporate profit growth, all of which have kept money flowing into stocks.

ExxonMobil (NYSE:XOM) is one of the top energy names in President Donald Trump's financial disclosures from earlier this year. The stock is up about 27% so far this year. But does a presidential trade make it a buy today? Let's break down what's actually driving the stock.
Exxon benefits directly from rising oil prices amid the Iran war. Its upstream segment was projected to see a multibillion-dollar earnings lift for the second quarter compared to the first, driven almost entirely by higher realized prices rather than any change in production. That's the logic behind buying an oil major right as a Middle East conflict escalates.
Exxon's balance sheet gives it room to lean into higher prices. Net debt relative to EBITDA sits under 1x, among the lowest in the industry, and the company is on pace to repurchase roughly $20 billion of stock this year. Guyana production just hit a quarterly record above 900,000 barrels a day, and the company has applied to drill dozens more wells there.
In the Permian Basin, Exxon is now the largest operator following its Pioneer acquisition and expects to roughly double output there by 2030. Longer term, natural gas tied to data center power demand is another growth lever bulls point to, with McKinsey estimating data centers could eventually account for more than a tenth of total U.S. power demand.
There's a demand question sitting underneath the price spike. The IEA sees global oil demand softening this year, and even OPEC, which tends to run more optimistic, trimmed its own demand growth forecast. If the Iran-driven premium in oil prices fades if another ceasefire takes place, some of Exxon's near-term earnings boost fades with it.

The Kentucky football team is entering a new era in 2026 under coach Will Stein. We're going through the offensive positions, and ranking all 16 teams in the SEC at each position.
As we continue our position group previews of each SEC team and where Kentucky lands amongst their foes, we turn our attention to the offensive line. At all levels of football, but especially the SEC, you have to be strong in the trenches to compete against the top of this conference. Will Stein knows this, which is why he invested a lot of resources to overhaul this offensive line. Kentucky spent big up front to give 27-year-old offensive line coach Cutter Leftwich the talent to revive the big blue wall.
Ryan Silverfield has a ton to overcome in his first season as the Razorbacks head coach, and the offensive line could be the detriment of this offense. He brought Malachi Breland over from Memphis to be his starting left guard, and Bryant Williams the Louisiana transfer to be the starting right tackle. This is an inexperienced group across the board that will have a large task at hand, facing a brutal schedule with multiple game wreckers on the defensive line.
Jeff Lebby brought in a couple of SEC transfers to start at each guard spot, including Arkansas transfer LJ Prudhomme and LSU transfer DJ Chester. Jakheem Shumpert-Perkins and Blake Steen are expected to man the tackle spots. The Bulldogs offense have the firepower to be an explosive offense, but the offensive line will determine their overall ceiling as an offense in 2026.
Auburn's entire starting offensive line this season will be from the transfer portal, a theme of Alex Golesh is bringing guys with him from South Florida to help create continuity. Center Cole Best and right guard Cole Skinner follow Golesh over from the Bulls, and I am hesitant on being confident this plan will work out with the amount of USF players being brought in offensively. Michigan State transfer Stanton Ramil will be the left tackle, and James Madison transfer Jo Simmons will be the right tackle.

The Los Angeles Lakers have done lots of work this summer to remodel their roster around Luka Doncic after LeBron James and several other rotation players left. But that doesn't necessarily mean their current roster is the one they will take with them into training camp when the summer ends.
They still don't have a legitimate starting two-way wing or forward, and they reportedly are looking for another serviceable center to back up Walker Kessler. Of course, by this point in the offseason, the pickings are slim, either via free agency or trade.
Dan Woike of The Athletic outlined the Lakers' options as far as picking up another big man, and he noted that Jalen Smith of the Chicago Bulls "has some fans" within the Lakers organization, while also adding the concerns that would come with acquiring him.
"Smith has some fans within the organization because he plays with motor and has worked himself into a pretty good outside shooter," Woike wrote. "But Smith is expensive (one-year, $9.5 million remaining on his deal) and undersized at 6 foot 8. The previous Bulls' regime was a fan of his, which puts his actual availability into question."
Smith, 26, was the No. 10 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and can play both the 4 and 5 positions. This past season, he averaged 10.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 20.7 minutes a game while making 37.3% of his 3-point attempts. He has a wingspan of at least 7-foot-1, and while he isn't a freakish athlete, he has solid athleticism and runs the floor well.

After dazzling in the NBA Summer League earlier this month, Chicago Bulls rookie Caleb Wilson earned high praise from Hall of Famer Charles Barkley on Tuesday.
Wilson was a consensus second-team All-American selection at North Carolina, averaging 19.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.7 ******* ists, 1.5 steals and 1.4 blocks while shooting 57.8% from the field. He set the freshman program records for scoring average and 20-point games (17).
The 6-foot-10 Wilson was highly touted entering the draft because of his versatility, athleticism and physical traits, boasting a 7-foot, 1/4-inch wingspan. Barkley, speaking on the "Dan Patrick Show," believes the Bulls hit a home run by selecting Wilson with the fourth overall pick.
I think the Chicago Bulls got the best rookie in the NBA. When I was talking to coaches and general managers, they are like, 'Who would you take with the No. 1 pick?' I said, 'Caleb Wilson.' They are like, 'What do you mean?' I said, 'I like (AJ) Dybantsa. I like (Darryn) Peterson. There was no player I would have taken before Caleb Wilson. Not one.' Peterson and Dybantsa are probably better scorers at this stage, but he can learn how to shoot. Let me tell you something: From an athletic point, he can guard one, two, three, four. Ain't ******* ody more talented than Caleb Wilson. Period.
Wilson was named to the All-Summer League first team, averaging 23.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 1.8 ******* ists and 1.2 steals while shooting 41.9% from 3-point range in four games. He ranked fourth in total points (94) among all players, having scored 19 or more in each appearance.

The question that has struck NBA fans for years now finally has its answer from the current president of the United States, and it's another tally for the former Chicago Bulls star.
Trump's stance comes from his personal relationship with the two athletes. According to the president, he's played golf with Jordan before and believes, "Maybe LeBron is a racist."

President Donald Trump cast his vote for the greatest basketball player of all time — and it ain't LeBron James.
The president was asked by Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy to settle who the "best ever" was during a Friday press conference at the White House — hours after James announced he is joining the Philadelphia 76ers. Doocy asked Trump to pick between James and Michael Jordan, and Trump said the decision was a layup — and attacked the newest member of the Sixers.
"Well, Michael Jordan is a guy that's a friend of mine, played golf with him. He's a really good guy," Trump said. "And I think LeBron is, may be he's a racist. But maybe he doesn't like Trump I don't know? But I only like people that like me. So I would say Michael Jordan, all the way."
Trump's pick comes after the "Air Jordan" v. "King James" debate has been a hot topic among hoops heads for years.
James has won four ****** les and four MVP awards during his 23-season-and-counting career, which has included two stops in Cleveland, along with stints in Miami, Los Angeles, and now Philly. Jordan won six ****** les and five MVP awards while leading the Chicago Bulls during 13 seasons between the '80s and '90s; he came out of retirement a second time and played for the Washington Wizards in the early '00s for two years — an era most fans tend to just ignore.

The Brooklyn Nets are now moving on with the rest of their offseason with the 2026 Las Vegas Summer League in the rearview mirror following a successful summer circuit. Brooklyn has made various moves over the course of the summer, including trading for Minnesota Timberwolves forward Julius Randle, and one of the ****** istant coaches approves of where the roster is at right now.
"What we’re excited about is the depth of legitimate NBA rotation players and potential rotation players we have now," a Nets ****** istant coach said of the team, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac. As the roster stands as of this writing, the starting lineup could be Mikel Brown Jr., Egor Demin, Michael Porter Jr., Julius Randle, and Day'Ron Sharpe.
"Not to speak ill of last year’s team, but we were down to rookies and non-NBA-level players by the end of the year. This year, we’ve got depth and the kids are improving too," the ****** istant coach continued, per Smith. Brooklyn finished the 2025-26 season with a lowly 20-62 record, rewarding them with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, allowing them to take Brown.
To the ****** istant coach's point, the Nets have re-signed Sharpe and forward Josh Minott while adding Randle, guard Keon Ellis, and center Mo Wagner (while his deal hasn't been officially announced yet). More to the point, Brooklyn has moved on from center Nic Claxton (who they traded to the Chicago Bulls as part of the four-team deal with the Timberwolves and Charlotte Hornets) while forward Ziaire Williams signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in free-agency.
The Nets also added forwards Joshua Jefferson and Tyler Bilodeau in the 2026 draft to go along with the five first-rounders they took in the 2025 class that the team is hoping breaks through at some point. Time will tell how good this current roster will be next season but as it stands now, one of Brooklyn's ****** istant coaches believes that this roster is better than the one from last season.

For many members of Bills Mafia, the tailgate is just as important as the game itself. Not everyone has the luxury of hauling grills, tents, coolers, tables, and enough food to feed half a parking lot. Tens of thousands of Bills fans travel to Buffalo from across the country and even around the world every season. For them, organized tailgate experiences offer a chance to jump right into the atmosphere without worrying about packing equipment, or finding a place to set up. That’s exactly what this new series is all about.
For me, the game day experience has become an important aspect of why I love attending games in Orchard Park. As I prepare for my 102nd consecutive Buffalo Bills game, home and away, I’ve been fortunate enough to experience many of the different tailgates that make Bills Mafia so unique. Some are free. Some are paid. Some are legendary Bills Mafia traditions. I’ll be highlighting the different tailgate experiences available throughout the 2026 season, breaking down where they’re located, what they cost, what’s included, and what kind of fan they’re designed for.
We start with one of the newest additions to game day.
Making its debut for the inaugural season at the new Highmark Stadium is the Bills VIP Tailgate, an all-inclusive premium pregame experience operated by Bullseye Event Group.
Located directly across Abbott Road from the Toyota Gate E entrance, it is about as convenient as it gets. Guests can enjoy the festivities before simply walking across the street to enter the stadium. The event opens four hours before kickoff for every Buffalo Bills home game.

Our new home jersey for the 2026/27 season is here – and there's more physics behind it than you might initially think. The inspiration: the Doppler effect, coined by the Salzburg physicist Christian Doppler. Formula 1 driver Isack Hadjar of Red Bull Racing demonstrates how this principle manifests itself in practice in a video featuring his car.
The dynamic elements on the front of our new kit capture the movement of sound waves – the pitch changes you hear, for example, when a Formula 1 car passes by. Our Red Bulls will give the kit its debut this weekend in their cup tie in Oberwart.
You can get your jersey now at our Bullshop and in our official online fan shop!

The 2026 Belgian Grand Prix saw Haas record its fourth consecutive race without scoring a single Formula 1 point, following a start to the season that had shown some promise. However, it has been clear for several races now that the American team has been outdeveloped by most of its rivals, starting with Racing Bulls and Audi, which are now battling it out with Alpine for points.
As such, hopes of a strong showing were not particularly high ahead of the Spa race, especially for Esteban Ocon, who has been plagued by performance issues with his VF-26. But, the fact that the two drivers made contact on the first lap – which resulted in the Frenchman running off the track and both suffering punctures – did not help matters.
Historically, incidents involving Haas drivers are nothing new, but for team boss Ayao Komatsu, it is essential to draw a clear line in the sand straight away – despite the particular circumstances of last week’s incident.
"We just have to make sure it doesn't happen again", he told the media, including Motorsport.com, on Thursday in Budapest. "As always, even on a Sunday after the race, I just wanted to hear points of view from both sides, and then I put my points of view, and then we spoke about it, and then days after as well, so it's all fine."
When asked for his own view, the ***** anese team principal sidestepped the question: "I don't think I need to share that here. My interest is of course, whatever the reason, it just cannot happen again. Full stop. So, we just got to have a clear rule of engagement."

The Brooklyn Nets still have some moves to make with the 2026 NBA offseason still containing some big names on the market that could sign as soon as LeBron James decides where he will play next. Brooklyn has made most of the moves that they're going to make prior to the beginning of the 2026-27 season, but they are projected to lead the league in cap ****** e against next season.
The Nets are projected to have $68.6 million in cap ****** e following the conclusion of the 2026-27 campaign, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac in a post on X on Thursday. Following the Nets are the Chicago Bulls ($55.6 million), Los Angeles Clippers ($53.8 million), Detroit Pistons ($43.9 million), and Milwaukee Bucks ($43.3 million) to round out the top-5 teams in cap ****** e that offseason.
While Brooklyn is projected to have the most cap ****** e in the league next summer, that figure would change if the Nets agree to a contract extension with forward Michael Porter Jr. at some point this offseason. Porter is eligible to sign an extension for four years and $234 million and while he is unlikely to get the maximum amount of money he is eligible for, the structure of his extension could change Brooklyn's offseason next year significantly.
More to the point, the Nets reportedly signed center Mo Wagner to a two-year, $18 million deal, according to ESPN's Shams Charania, but the Wagner signing has not been made official as of this writing. However, even Brooklyn signs Wagner to the reported contract, his second year may not factor into the Nets' cap ****** e if it is a team option that the team ultimately declines.
Essentially, ****** uming that Porter isn't signed to a contract extension and Wagner's deal has a team option on the second year, Brooklyn will have almost $70 million in cap ****** e to work with after next season. Some of the best unrestricted free-agents next season, excluding James, will be Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, forward Kawhi Leonard, and Milwaukee Bucks guard Tyler Herro.

A month after the whirlwind series of events that led to Dusty May becoming the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks, new Michigan head coach Mike Boynton Jr. is speaking on how things went down.
In an interview with the Field of 68 on Thursday, Boynton said that he knew that May was considering leaving following the Wolverines' victory in the NCAA championship, but that the two of them didn't have a conversation about next steps until the day before May took the job. May's hire was officially announced by Dallas on Tuesday, June 23.
Boynton said that they'd had an inkling that there would be a leadership change at Michigan, as May's "name came up for pretty much every job, all spring, at every level," Boynton said. That included then-open positions at North Carolina, the Chicago Bulls and the Orlando Magic, which were all subsequently filled.
Boynton, who spent seven seasons as the head coach at Oklahoma State, added that he was "sensitive" about trying to pry into what was going on with May.
"I really didn't know, and I really wasn't all that interested in finding out, because I didn't want him to feel like I was just another guy trying to seek information," Boynton said.

The coaching world is a small one, and as the days go by, it continues to get smaller.
Every single guy is on a one-man mission to get to the top of the sport and become a head coach somewhere. For some, the grind is too much, but for others, they make a life out of it. Now, as the NFL is in a little bit of a transition phase to the young, braniac coaches, there is another layer of the coaching world that is getting exposed. The perfect example of this is with Todd Monken and the two guys the Ravens hired as their head coach and offensive coordinator.
Cleveland Browns head coach Todd Monken was on the Ryan Ripken Show and was asked what his actual thoughts are about the Ravens' decision. In typical Monken fashion, he told the truth and nothing but the truth.
"It's bulls---," Monken exclaimed. " I don't know if everyone knows this. My first year as a GA at Notre Dame... in '91, I GA'd with Declan Doyle's dad, Chris Doyle... My second year at Notre Dame, I moved to defense, and I was a GA for Rick Minter, Jessie Minter's dad. It really just means my a-- is old. But, the reality is, I've got a ton of respect for those guys. They are fantastic coaches."
"They are fantastic coaches and it's bullshit they're with the Ravens and we gotta play them twice a year. All this **** I talked to Declan about taking the job and now we're in the same **** division. I should've talked his **** out of it."

For a company that prides itself on the stablecoin it developed and manages, Circle Internet Group's (NYSE: CRCL) stock has been anything but stable lately. The recent slump in the shares has clearly appealed to the contrarian instincts of top institutional investor Cathie Wood and her Ark Invest team, as they loaded up on Circle shares last week.
These buys totaled $14 million, a considerable sum. Let's take a closer look at this and identify one very attractive quality about Circle stock that's sustaining its bulls.
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
Last Tuesday, Ark Invest added to its existing pile of Circle stock with several new buys totaling 220,012 shares, valued at roughly $13.9 million.
These purchases were spread among three Ark exchange-traded funds (ETFs), with the Ark Innovation ETF taking 159,517 shares, the Ark Next Generation ETF gaining 42,400, and the Ark Blockchain & Fintech Innovation ETF absorbing 18,095.

TAMPA, Fla. — During an Auburn football scrimmage this spring at Jordan-Hare Stadium, the program shared a snippet of one quarterback chatting with another. Those passers were Cam Newton and Byrum Brown, bridging generations of the program at one position.
The former doesn't need much introduction. He was a Heisman Trophy-winner and national champion on the Plains. The latter has yet to play a meaningful snap as a Tiger, but after helping South Florida turn around the past three seasons, he'll strive to do the same for his new home.
Stadium music drowned out all other noise in their 20-second introduction, but at SEC Media Days, Brown shared what the message was from one of Auburn's most-heralded former players.
"It was just go out there and be you," Brown said Tuesday, July 21. "Be a dog, and that's really it. Just go out there and be a dog and, like, you did at the past institution, will this team to victory."
Brown spent four seasons in total with the Bulls, but he was their starting quarterback for all three seasons of coach Alex Golesh's tenure.

Now that the 2026 World Cup is over, we are a month away from the domestic seasons getting underway in Europe. The Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, and La Liga are among the leagues that will be resuming play as the end of summer approaches.
Every summer also means new kit season, where clubs all over the world release their new jerseys for the upcoming season. Some of the designs released so far have been inspired by previous looks, friendships between cities and even the sport of baseball.
Check our ranking below of some of the top kits that have been released this offseason, and for more, click on the following team names: Napoli, Man United, Roma, Inter, Real Madrid, Athletic, Red Bulls, Chelsea, Torino, Girona, Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan Home, AC Milan Away, Bayern Munich and Juventus.
Inter Milan's away kits this year are heavily influenced by the sport of baseball, as evidenced by the pinstripes. The club crest has been reimagined as a monogram with the "I" and "M" free from the circular crest.
Crystal Palace's iconic slash, first introduced in 1976, is once again featured on the Premier League side's home kit. The badge has been given a retro feel with a circular crest that the club first used in 1973.

Former Wolfsburg and RB Leipzig professional Xaver Schlager – a free agent since July 1st – has officially selected Nottingham Forest as his next station. The Austrian international will be reunited with newly appointed Forest head coach Oliver Glasner, under whom he worked for two seasons at Wolfsburg between 2019 and 2021.
Schlager departs German football having made 150 Bundesliga appearances over the course of the last seven seasons. During that time, he scored seven Bundesliga goals and earned 55 caps for his native country.
Schlager arrived in German football when Wolfsburg signed him from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer of 2019. An ankle injury disrupted the first half of his debut campaign, but the Austrian soon established himself alongside Maximilian Arnold in central midfield. By August 2021, Schlager had already made 70 competitive appearances for die Wölfe and developed into one of the team’s most important midfielders.
His Wolfsburg rise was interrupted by a cruciate ligament rupture suffered against Leipzig early in the 2021/22 season. Schlager underwent surgery and remained sidelined until February 2022. He nevertheless returned strongly enough to earn a move to Leipzig, who paid approximately €12m for him that summer.
Schlager quickly became an important part of Marco Rose’s Leipzig midfield. He scored the winner against Werder Bremen in November 2022 as the German Red Bulls extended their unbeaten run across all competitions to 13 matches. His energetic pressing, physicality and willingness to contest virtually every midfield duel made him well suited to Rose’s football.

GE's numbers were stellar, but ****** ysts on the call wanted to know if the growth was sustainable or a supply-constrained peak.
After a 32% run over the past year, GE Aerospace (GE) just gave bulls everything they wanted, reporting 24% revenue growth and raising its full-year free cash flow guidance to a range of $8.9 billion to $9.2 billion. Yet on its latest call, nearly every sharp question from ****** ysts circled a single, nagging worry: is this as good as it gets? They pressed management to prove that the explosive first-half growth was not just a pull-forward, and that GE's supply chain could actually deliver on its large backlog without margins getting crushed.
The core tension for GE is the gap between its promises and its parts. The company sits on a large commercial services backlog of roughly $170 billion, a powerful signal of future revenue. The problem is that the checks are being written today, but the revenue depends on shipping physical goods in a strained supply chain. The clearest evidence of this operational bottleneck showed up in the company's own metrics: spare parts delinquencies, which track orders delayed by material shortages, grew 20% sequentially in the second quarter. If demand is so resilient, why are the fulfillment issues getting worse, not better?
Management's response was to frame the growth as structural, not a one-time surge. The CEO argued that the aging of the global fleet creates a natural tailwind for higher-value shop visits, and that the company's focus is squarely on execution. The issue, as management put it, is "much more a supply-side challenge than it is demand." That is a confident read on the market, but it also openly confirms that the primary governor on GE's growth is its own ability to get parts out the door.
Even if GE solves its supply issues, the next question is whether that revenue will be profitable. The company is delivering a wave of new engines, particularly the GE9X, which carry lower margins and act as a drag on overall profitability. ****** ysts pushed on when, exactly, the high-margin services business would translate into higher company-wide margins.

Redwire Corporation (RDW) has taken investors on a roller-coaster ride this year. The aerospace and defense company's stock initially surged on the wave of excitement surrounding ******* eX's (SPCX) blockbuster IPO.
