WASHINGTON, Sept 19 (Reuters) - Democrats are seeking to reclaim Congress, but lingering divisions from a bruising run-up to the November election threaten to imperil the party's attempt to claw back power from President Donald Trump's Republicans.
With control of both chambers at stake, Democrats have sought to move past the bad blood of the primaries, but in several competitive states, influential party figures have withheld endorsements or so far declined to campaign with nominees for the November 3 US midterm elections.
In Maine, the governor has yet to endorse the Democratic US Senate candidate. In Texas, a congresswoman has declined to campaign alongside the state representative who defeated her in the Democratic Senate primary. In Michigan, establishment centrists are steering clear of the party's progressive Senate pick. In New York, victorious democratic socialists are criticizing congressional Democrats for joining Republicans in condemning socialism. In Florida, the party has yet to rally behind its Senate nominee.
"Whether you are a progressive or an establishment Democrat or a conservative Democrat, we all have a vested interest in getting every single person over the finish line in November," said US Representative Summer Lee, a progressive Pennsylvania Democrat up for reelection.

Jim Cramer sees Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) as a major beneficiary of the disruption surrounding the Strait of Hormuz, as he said during the September 8 episode of Mad Money:
When I wrote How to Make Money in Any Market… I didn't know that Enterprise Products Partners was going to be the, maybe the single biggest pipeline winner in this country thanks to the war. I didn't see that war coming. The CEO of Enterprise, Jim Teague, has raised awareness for the company's profit opportunity because of the Hormuz closing. The margins of some of its liquids, like ethane to ethylene, ethylene to polyethylene, have soared. As Teague says, the Houston Ship Channel is now just as important as the Strait of Hormuz. Now, there's an endorsement. Stock yields 5.8%.
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) reported record second-quarter adjusted EBITDA of $2.8 billion, up 17% year over year, while operational distributable cash flow reached a record $2.3 billion, up 21%. Moreover, pipeline volumes reached a record 14.7 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, up 8%, while marine-terminal volumes increased 33% to 2.8 million barrels per day. Co-Chief Executive Officer James Teague said:
Volumes at our marine terminals have returned to normal levels in June and July after the initial rush to backfill volumes affected by hostilities in the Middle East in April and May.
In July, Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) declared a quarterly distribution of $0.56 per unit, or $2.24 annualized, a 2.8% increase from a year earlier. At EPD's September 8 closing price of $38.83, that equates to a yield of approximately 5.8%. The company has increased its distribution for 27 consecutive years. The company's latest investor materials show $6.5 billion of major capital projects under construction. It expects 2026 organic growth capital spending, net of ***** et-sale proceeds, of $2.9 billion to $3.4 billion. The company retained $1.1 billion of DCF for internally funded growth capital expenditures and buybacks.

Rudy Gobert has spent years dealing with mixed reviews about his defense. That debate looks different when one of the NBA's best offensive players gives him credit for making the game harder.
Nikola Jokic has faced Gobert plenty of times and knows where the Timberwolves center can cause problems. His latest comments give Gobert a notable endorsement from someone who has spent years trying to attack him.
Jokic discussed the defenders who make his job difficult during an appearance on the Jao Mile podcast. When the conversation reached Gobert, the Denver star dismissed the idea that the Timberwolves center is overrated on defense.

It started with yelling about toilets. Steve Ballmer was so serious about turning the Los Angeles Clippers into a serious franchise for the first time in their existence that he wanted to make sure no fan ever waited in a long line to use the bathroom when the team opened its new arena. Ballmer's drive to win eventually led the Clippers to courting Kawhi Leonard in free agency, fresh off leading the Toronto Raptors to a 2019 NBA championship. Leonard wanted to live in Los Angeles, yes, but he also wanted Paul George as his running mate, so the Clippers shipped out a boatload of draft picks and future two-time MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to get him.
Leonard's people also made it known that their client wanted the type of big endorsement deals his off-putting, robotic personality couldn't land legitimately. Leonard's now infamous Uncle Dennis Robertson never tried to be subtle about his desire to secure similar off-court bags to the ones Kawhi's contemporaries like LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant were landing on their own accord, and leaks of his demands circulated as soon as Leonard hit free agency.
The Clippers became so entangled in pleasing Leonard that it led to blatant salary cap circumvention, first reported by investigative journalist Pablo Torre. The NBA found enough evidence supporting Torre's claims that it hammered the Clippers with the most severe penalty in league history, stripping five future first-round draft picks, suspending executives including Ballmer, and more. That figured to be the end of the story, with the Clippers spending the next decade trying to climb out of the abyss. Torre continued to hint that there was another shoe to drop, and now that it's here, the Clippers might be in much bigger trouble than anyone first believed.
The Department of Justice has opened a criminal investigation into the Clippers, according to the New York Times, and it's already issued one subpoena. While the scope of the investigation is unclear for now, the fact that the feds are watching the Clippers for under-the-table dealings potentially makes this a much bigger deal than simply breaking NBA rules.
How does breaking NBA rules amount to a federal crime by the Clippers? While there's a lot left to come out, the main idea is that the Clippers committed some level of fraud. Daktronics was a publicly traded company, the only one of the four tied up in the Leonard scandal to fit that description, while Aspiration, Lockton Insurance, and Boingo Wireless were not. Publicly traded companies have a fiduciary duty to their shareholders to disclose big investments, and it sure feels like that never happened when dealing with Leonard.

The Justice Department has initiated a criminal investigation into allegations that the Los Angeles Clippers used secret endorsement deals to boost its star player Kawhi Leonard's income while violating the NBA's salary cap, the New York Times reported, just a week after the league suspended the team's billionaire owner Steve Ballmer for a year.
Owner Steve Ballmer of the Los Angeles Clippers congratulates Kawhi Leonard #2 after his 55-point game to win 112-99 against the Detroit Pistons at Intuit Dome.
Citing unnamed sources briefed on the matter, the Times reported that the matter is being investigated by prosecutors in the U.S. Attorney's Office in Brooklyn and the probe is in its "earliest stages."
The report noted that prosecutors have already issued a subpoena as part of the probe, but details of the crimes being investigated remain unclear.
The DOJ investigation began before the NBA handed out its own punishments against the Clippers—including a year-long suspension of the team's owner and ninth-richest person in the world.

The NBA brought the hammer down on the LA Clippers and owner Steve Ballmer for circumventing the salary cap to funnel more money to Kawhi Leonard — and now federal prosecutors are looking into the matter.
The Justice Department has opened a criminal investigation into the Clippers' efforts to secure "no-show" endorsement deals for Kawhi Leonard, the New York Times reports. This investigation is being run out of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Brooklyn, the office that has traditionally looked into issues with professional sports leagues.
The investigation is in its earliest stages, and it's unclear what, if any, federal charges could come out of it, according to the report.
The Justice Department investigation comes in addition to the Securities and Exchange Commission looking into Daktronics' role in the scandal, as it had an endorsement deal with Leonard despite never having had a celebrity endorser before and there being no evidence Leonard did anything for the company. Daktronics is publicly traded, and the SEC is tasked with protecting shareholders.
The NBA oversaw a year-long investigation of its own into the Clippers working to circumvent the salary cap with Leonard and last month came down with the harshest penalties ever imposed on a team:

The Los Angeles Clippers are still reeling in the aftermath of a cap circumvention scandal. For their part in helping Kawhi Leonard secure millions in off-the-court, "no-show" endorsement deals, the franchise had to give up five first-round picks and $30 million, culminating in one of the most severe penalties in NBA history.
Through it all, Kawhi escaped the scandal relatively unscathed. Besides a $700K fine, he didn't face any major consequences, and even his trade to the Toronto Raptors remains completely untouched. And yet, even now, the Clippers have yet to finalize the trade, leading some executives to suspect they are considering some sort of revenge against Leonard for how he's turned his back on the team.
"The Raptors, I'm told, are eager to consummate the trade after initially placing it on hold July 9 (to guard against a Leonard suspension or the outright voiding of his contract) and still firmly believe that the deal will happen as agreed upon and intended. Ditto for Leonard and his camp," wrote NBA insider Marc Stein. "Yet the delay has naturally led some league observers to wonder aloud whether the Clippers are holding off — or considering something even more drastic — to spite Leonard for so readily accepting the league's punishment rather than invoking his right to pursue an appeal. Any formal appeal within the NBA's auspices in such matters, remember, must be initiated by the player in question rather than the team according to league by-laws."
The Clippers have given up everything for Kawhi, and they set themselves back 10 years just to make him happy. From his very arrival, Kawhi was making outlandish requests and even forced the Clippers to give up five first-round picks (along with future MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander) in a deal for Paul George. By the end, the total cost of Leonard's services amounts to 10 first-round picks (not counting SGA), and it was all for a team that never made the Finals.
So when the Clippers were caught holding the bag in the cap circumvention scandal, they naturally expected some level of cooperation from Leonard, someone they moved heaven and earth to appease. Instead, he settled with the NBA right away, avoiding more severe penalties while stripping the Clippers of any power to fight back.

Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed is seeking to appear more moderate to voters while, at the same time, maintaining ties to individuals who take positions far to the left of anything he publicly endorses.
Since launching his Senate bid in April 2025, El-Sayed has distanced himself from a number of positions he had previously held and scrubbed much of his left-wing pre-campaign content from the internet. He has also repeatedly insisted that he is "not a socialist."
While attempting to convince voters that characterizations of him as a left-wing ideologue are inaccurate, El-Sayed has appeared at campaign events with and accepted endorsements from a range of political allies and supporters with controversial records or views.

Miami star receiver Malachi Toney has a big new NIL deal to show off just before the 2026 campaign officially begins for the Hurricanes. He's now got an endorsement deal with Adidas.
According to a post on social media from Nice Kicks, Toney signed with Adidas, joining an elite roster that includes the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Fernando Mendoza, Travis Hunter and Jeremiah Smith. Former Miami players Rueben Bain, David Njoku, and Braxton Berrios also rep the brand. Toney is one of the most electric receivers in the game, set to enter his sophomore season this fall.
[ $19.99 gets you a FULL year of On3 | Rivals national coverage ]
While not many details are yet known on the collaboration with Adidas, Malachi Toney was featured in several unique photos showing off the Adidas apparel he now reps. One is included above.
That's not the only NIL deal Toney has, either. Earlier this week, FIT House Brands announced that it will feature Toney and fellow Miami football player Darian Mensah in its new social media ads. Toney and Mensah will collaborate to create content with FIT House of Brands.

The verdict is in regarding the Kawhi Leonard saga, and the results are not good for the All-Star forward or his soon-to-be former team.
A months-long independent investigation found the Los Angeles Clippers illegally circumvented the NBA salary cap when they facilitated outside endorsement deals with a collection of team-friendly sponsors, the league announced Wednesday.
Those sponsors were Aspiration Partners, Boingo Wireless, Daktronics and Lockton Insurance.
The resulting penalties are staggeringly stiff.
Due to what the league called a pattern of misconduct uncovered in the investigation, headed by the law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, the NBA has suspended team owner Steve Ballmer from all league and team activities for a year. He has also been fined $30 million.

Nvidia (NVDA) just announced a $3.5 billion investment in MediaTek through convertible bonds, representing the chipmaker's largest direct investment outside the United States and signaling a decisive strategic pivot toward ecosystem expansion rather than pure GPU dominance. The deal, announced on Monday, August 31, sent MediaTek shares surging 10% in Taipei trading on Tuesday, hitting the daily trading limit as investors interpreted the move as a powerful endorsement of MediaTek's AI ambitions.
Under the expanded partnership, MediaTek will adopt Nvidia's NVLink Fusion platform, which enables custom AI chips built by third parties to integrate directly into Nvidia's rack-scale data center systems.

President Donald Trump said "Meet the Press" moderator Kristen Welker will be reported to the Federal Communications Commission over her coverage of his endorsements ahead of the midterm elections.
"Kristen Welker, the Unpopular 'Hostess' of the once great Meet the Press, now considered Meet the Fake Press, just stated that Donald Trump has 'mixed results' on his Endorsements of Candidates, when the recent WINS of Darline Graham and Mike Mazzei, stand at 100% for the U.S. Senate, and 98% for the U.S. House," Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on Aug. 30.
Trump added: "Because of this purposeful inaccuracy, she will be reported to the FCC for rebuke or punishment. Unfortunately, she is not the only one."
NBC News told USA TODAY that "Kristen is one of the best in the business and we stand by her" in an Aug. 30 statement.
Trump does have a strong 2026 endorsement record, but some candidates he supported lost recent primaries.

The Seattle Seahawks made the somewhat surprising decision to not just release veteran wide receiver Cody White, but to not even retain him on the practice squad like has been the norm over the past couple of seasons. We now know that the next chapter of White's career will be with his former Seahawks offensive coordinator.
White has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad, which will reunite him with new Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak.
The Raiders have scarcely looked at signing available former Seahawks players, but now they have Cody on the practice squad and free agent signing Dareke Young on their 53-man active roster. If you've taken a look at the Raiders' receiver depth chart, there is a more viable path to game day elevations if not an outright promotion to the active roster for Cody. White joins the waiver-claimed Jared Ivey as the first two Seahawks roster cuts confirmed to be heading elsewhere this season.
White was in competition with Ricky White III, Montorie Foster Jr, and Emmanuel Henderson Jr for the bottom-end of Seattle's wide receiver depth chart. With Jake Bobo out for the year, there figured to be a reasonable chance that Cody would either be on the active roster or signed back to Seattle's practice squad. The fact that neither happened is yet another strong endorsement for the rise of Foster, who appeared to separate himself pretty clearly from Ricky White and Henderson throughout camp and preseason.
We'll always have this moment, Cody White! And you've got a ring as a result.

I've been taking a look at Cisco (CSCO) since I saw a long setup back in Feb. 2026 after its record-breaking Q2 FY2026 at just under $80. Then the stock skyrocketed a massive 70% plus since, to a new all-time high of $130.37 on June 4, 2026.
And now after a retracement to the current levels, Jim Cramer just weighed in on the Aug. 27 Mad Money Lightning Round with his clearest endorsement yet.
"Cisco actually had a really good quarter, and I know that they gave very conservative guidance, but that's all it was," Cramer said.
The answer is I would absolutely buy, buy, buy.
I haven't seen Cramer use the phrase "buy, buy, buy" lightly. Three buys. No hedging. In Cramer's vocabulary, that's about as unambiguous as it gets.

I haven't seen Cramer use the phrase "buy, buy, buy" lightly. Three buys. No hedging. In Cramer's vocabulary, that's about as unambiguous as it gets.

The Women's Super League returns this coming weekend.
The new season kicks off on Friday with London City Lionesses hosting Manchester United. Champions Manchester City are back in action on Sunday against Birmingham.
But who has come in this summer? Below, we pick out seven new signings to watch out for this season.
Since Dragoni's debut for Inter Milan at the age of 16, Chelsea have kept a keen eye on the Italy midfielder. Governing Body Endorsement (GBE) criteria (a points-based visa system administered by the FA for overseas players) and post-Brexit regulations mean Chelsea, like all English clubs, cannot sign foreign players under the age of 18. But even as Dragoni signed for Barcelona in 2023, aged 17, Chelsea still hoped to one day secure the midfielder's signature.
The reasoning is simple, according to sources at Chelsea and close to the player. Dragoni, says one source, could become one of the best midfielders in the world.

Caitlin Clark reveals Taylor Swift's reaction to new signature shoes originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Caitlin Clark debuted a special pair of signature shoes Friday night, but one review apparently mattered more than the others. The Indiana Fever star wore the "Friendship Bracelet" colorway of her Nike Caitlin 1 during a 111-91 victory over the Connecticut Sun. The design was inspired by the friendship-bracelet tradition that became synonymous with Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.
When Clark was asked about Swift's opinion of the shoes, she delivered a simple three-word response.
"Taylor likes them," Clark said with a smile in a video shared by the Fever.
That should qualify as a strong endorsement. Clark and Swift have developed a public friendship over the past several years. Clark attended multiple Eras Tour concerts and sat with Swift at a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game in January 2025.

On August 13, Celcuity (NASDAQ:CELC) walked investors through a quarter unlike any in the company's history. The clinical-stage biotech is no longer just clinical: its breast cancer drug Revtopik won FDA approval on July 14, and the call was built around how the company plans to turn that approval into an actual business. The tone was confident, but the numbers underneath told a more complicated story about what launching a first drug really costs.
The regulatory news alone stood out. The FDA approved Revtopik on July 14 for patients with HR positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer without a PIK3CA mutation who had progressed on prior endocrine therapy. Less than three weeks later, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network recommended both the Revtopik triplet and doublet as preferred Category 1 options for second-line treatment, a fast endorsement suggesting oncologists see real value here.
That value shows up in the data. In the PIK3CA mutant cohort of the VIKTORIA-1 trial, the gedatolisib triplet produced a median progression-free survival of 11.1 months versus 5.6 months for alpelisib plus fulvestrant, cutting the risk of progression or death in half. Just 5.2% of triplet patients and 3.8% of doublet patients stopped treatment due to side effects, compared to 19% on alpelisib. CEO Sullivan said that 4% to 5% range "best represents what we expect to see in a real world setting," a detail that matters because patients who stay on a drug longer generate more revenue over time.
Celcuity is not stopping at second-line treatment either. The VIKTORIA-2 trial has been expanded to test gedatolisib in treatment-naive, endocrine-sensitive patients, a group that makes up roughly two-thirds of newly diagnosed advanced breast cancer cases each year. That bet is backed by earlier Phase 1b data showing a median progression-free survival of 48.6 months, nearly double the roughly 25 months typical of current standard of care. Commercially, the company says its 80-person oncology sales team, averaging 24 years of experience, is fully built, backed by $754 million in cash management expects to last into 2029.
Turning that approval into revenue has been expensive. Net loss widened to $78.9 million, or $1.44 per share, for the quarter, compared to a loss of $45.3 million a year earlier. Selling, general, and administrative expenses jumped $27.4 million to $35 million, driven mostly by hiring the commercial team needed to support the launch. Celcuity has not shipped a single vial yet, with shipments not expected to begin until late in the third quarter of 2026.

On August 20, 2026, Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) CEO Sanjay Mehrotra said artificial intelligence has fundamentally altered the memory industry's historically volatile boom-and-bust cycle, telling CNBC's "Mad Money" that "today there is no AI without memory."
Mehrotra said data-center customers currently want roughly 50% more supply than Micron can commit to delivering. The firm has signed five-year strategic agreements with more than 16 customers to lock in demand, up from the number disclosed on its late-June earnings call. Micron is backing that outlook with a planned $250 billion investment in U.S. manufacturing through 2035, including two new fabs in Boise, Idaho. It separately unveiled a $10 billion Micron Research Labs initiative, endorsed by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Demand is running well ahead of what Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) can physically supply. Data-center customers want about 50% more memory than Micron can commit to, a supply-demand gap severe enough that all its customers across our end markets will buy everything that it makes. That kind of shortage, rather than oversupply, is the opposite of the environment that has historically crushed memory prices.
Long-term contracts are replacing the spot-market exposure that drove past boom-bust cycles. Micron has signed five-year strategic agreements with more than 16 customers who have "committed to taking the supply." It gives Micron real visibility into future demand instead of relying on volatile spot pricing that has wrecked memory margins in past cycles.
Micron is backing its confidence with capital, not just commentary. The firm's $250 billion U.S. manufacturing commitment through 2035, plus a separate $10 billion Micron Research Labs investment, signals a multi-decade bet on sustained AI-driven demand. The research initiative's endorsement from customers as significant as Nvidia and Apple lends outside credibility to that bet.

The most intriguing position battle on the Los Angeles Rams' roster this summer is coming down to the wire. All offseason, Stetson Bennett and Ty Simpson were competing for the QB2 job behind Matthew Stafford and after three preseason games, Sean McVay still hasn't made up his mind.
What we do know is that the Rams will keep all three quarterbacks on the 53-man roster. He just hasn't decided whether Simpson or Bennett will be the QB2 for Week 1.
He told reporters after Thursday's win over the Chargers that he has not committed to a No. 2 quarterback, and that he feels really good about both Simpson and Bennett. The Rams held Bennett out of action on Thursday night but McVay says he wouldn't read too much into that as an endorsement for the fourth-year quarterback.
McVay said he'll make a decision after giving it more thought, though he technically doesn't have to decide until shortly before the Rams kick off against the 49ers on Sept. 10. At that point, he'll need to pick which quarterback is active for the opener, and which one will be in street clothes.
Simpson and Bennett both played well in the preseason, committing zero turnovers and winning all three games. They each looked comfortable operating McVay's offense, which is a greater compliment to the rookie Simpson. In the finale, only Simpson played, completing 18 of 23 passes for 119 yards and a touchdown, leading the Rams to a 20-18 victory.

Democratic strategist Chuck Rocha said Wednesday he expected President Trump's endorsement of Sen. Darline Graham (R-S.C.) to lead to a wider margin of victory for her in Tuesday's GOP Senate runoff.
Rocha explained in an appearance on NewsNation's "Cuomo" that he thought Graham would win but "didn't think it would be this close" given Trump backed the senator.
She defeated Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) by just less than 5 points in the state's runoff, securing a spot on the general election ballot in place of her brother, the late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).
The GOP nominee will now face Democrat Annie Andrews in the general election, with Decision Desk HQ giving the Republican an 81 percent chance to win as of Tuesday.
Rocha, who advised Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) during his two unsuccessful presidential campaigns, noted that Darline Graham's narrow runoff victory does not lead him to believe Andrews will win.

The move of LeBron James joining the Philadelphia 76ers has everybody buzzing. Arguably the greatest player to ever play the game has decided to continue his brilliant career in the City of Brotherly Love and join Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Jaylen Brown to form one of the more talented starting lineups in NBA history.
James, the NBA's all-time leading scorer, has spent the previous eight seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers as he helped the franchise win a **** le in 2020. He won finals MVP and also led the Lakers from the play-in tournament to the Western Conference finals in 2023.
As James now heads to join Embiid and the Sixers, former Philadelphia coach Brett Brown gave his thoughts on the move in an interview with Liberty Ballers:
"I think it's fantastic for the city," Brown said over the phone Tuesday night, as he drove with his family to Ventnor, NJ, for some shore time. "I think it's an endorsement to the players and Nick (Nurse) that LeBron chose them. There's a lot of great things to be admitted with LeBron's decision to come to Philadelphia, and Jaylen (Brown)'s trade. It's real. They've got a team that is as good as anybody in the league. We're always relying on health and luck and all that, but shoot, to start with, they put that group on the floor..."
Brown, obviously, has a great relationship with Embiid from his time in the City of Brotherly Love. After he scored 70 points against Brown's San Antonio Spurs back in 2024, the two shared a moment and Embiid gave his first NBA coach a lot of love and respect. Now, Brown returns the favor as he continued with Liberty Ballers:

Marvell Technology (NASDAQ: MRVL) has delivered a standout performance among semiconductor stocks so far in 2026. The first catalyst arrived earlier this year in the form of a $2 billion investment from Nvidia -- bolstering a partnership that aims to deepen the technical collaboration between the two chip companies around interconnects and photonics.
This endorsement was amplified in June after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang publicly ***** erted that Marvell could become the next trillion-dollar artificial intelligence (AI) chip company. With Marvell shares up more than 160% year to date and with its second-quarter earnings scheduled for Aug. 27, some investors may be wondering whether Marvell stock is still a buy.
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
Consensus estimates among ***** ysts point to revenue of approximately $2.7 billion, which would amount to 35% growth year over year. Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) are expected to be $0.93, an increase of roughly 39%. Sustained growth at this scale implies Marvell has secured meaningful traction in custom application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), high-speed networking, and optical connectivity from AI hyperscale operators.
Attempting to time your buys right before or after an earnings release is not a sustainable investment strategy in the long run. The stock market prices a wide range of possible outcomes into shares ahead of such high-profile events, and the moves that follow an earnings report frequently are driven more by management's guidance and commentary than by the headline numbers themselves. Using a strategy of dollar-cost averaging avoids this noise because it spreads your purchases across multiple periods, reducing the impact of short-term volatility on your average purchase price.

Nvidia (NVDA) will release its second-quarter fiscal 2027 financial results on Wednesday, Aug. 26. Given the company's dominant position in the artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure ******* e, Nvidia appears well-positioned to deliver robust revenue and earnings growth in Q2. Further, Nvidia's current valuation looks attractive relative to its earnings growth potential and peers, setting the stage for meaningful upside.
The broader AI investment cycle remains a significant tailwind for Nvidia. Wyndham Clark has entered the conversation for the PGA Tour Player of the Year race with his third victory of the season at the BMW Championship
Like all of his other wins, Clark was dialed in with his Ping Scottsdale TEC Ally Blue Onset CB putter. He ranked 6th in the field in SG: Putting and averaged nearly 100 feet of putts made per round.
The week leading up to Clark's U.S. Open victory in June, Clark signed a unique putter-endorsement contract with Ping to continue using the putter he first switched to in the spring. It was the first putter-only deal for Ping in more than 50 years of sponsoring Tour players.
Clark started the year as a gear free agent after his previous contract with **** leist expired at the end of 2025. He cycled through putters for the first two months of the season, then switched to the Scottsdale TEC in March at the Texas Children's Houston Open before moving to a heavier counterbalanced version at the RBC Heritage in April.

Broadcom (AVGO) is a global technology leader headquartered in Palo Alto, California, that designs, develops, and supplies a broad portfolio of semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions. The company has emerged as a critical enabler of the AI computing boom through its custom AI accelerators (XPUs), high-speed networking chips, and broadband and enterprise semiconductor products, with hyperscale customers including Google (GOOG) (GOOGL), OpenAI, and Anthropic. Beyond semiconductors, Broadcom's infrastructure software segment, anchored by VMware Cloud Foundation, has become a major growth driver following its 2023 acquisition of VMware.
Broadcom's stock has delivered a strong 2026, climbing roughly 26% over the past year and recently trading around $380, though well off its 52-week high of $495 set earlier this year. Shares have pulled back nearly 12% in recent sessions as investors booked profits and repositioned ahead of Broadcom's fiscal third-quarter earnings report on Sept. 2, even as the stock remains far above its 52-week low of $281.87. Institutional buying remains robust, with major funds adding to positions amid continued optimism around Broadcom's expanding AI semiconductor backlog and custom accelerator roadmap.

Carnell Tate didn't catch a pass in the Tennessee ****** ans' joint practice against the Seattle Seahawks.
He didn't catch a pass in the preseason opener against the San Francisco 49ers either. And he wasn't much of a factor in the joint practice against the 49ers. Throw in a practice missed with some "lower body stiffness" and it's fairly safe to say that Tate, the ****** ans' top-five pick and standout performer from early in the offseason, is experiencing his first real adversity as a professional.
Well, scratch that. It's not safe to say that in front of Cam Ward.
"He doesn't have a cold streak," the quarterback said, beginning a ringing endorsement of his new receiver. "He plays one of the hardest positions in sports. You're either going to get the ball or not get the ball. He never shows that to the team whether he's frustrated or not.
"The thing about Carnell, whether he has a drop or I have a bad pass, he never points fingers at ****** ody. He always comes back with a next-play mentality. I think the best thing about him is he wants the ball, so when the ball does get thrown his way, he's urgent to it. He high-points it. There's times where he bails me out when the ball needs to be better. He's been great. He may not have had the splash plays like he always does today, but he's going to be a key reason why we're successful on offense."

Former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford (R) announced Friday he is backing GOP Rep. Ralph Norman (S.C.) in the race to serve a full term in the late Sen. Lindsey Graham's (R-S.C.) seat.
Sanford, who generally refrains from offering political endorsements, said in a statement shared on social media that he felt "compelled to offer" his perspective in the race after the national debt hit $40 trillion this week.
"As much as I would like to honor tradition and old friendships, the stakes are simply too high as our nation really is at a financial tipping point," the former governor said. "It's for these reasons and more that I will be voting for Ralph on Tuesday and respectfully ask that you do the same."
Sanford's endorsement comes ahead of the GOP primary runoff next Tuesday between Norman and Graham's sister, Sen. Darline Graham (R-S.C.), who was tapped to serve out the remainder of the late senator's term.
The race advanced to a runoff after neither candidate secured a majority of the vote in the state's Republican primary last week.
