PHILADELPHIA - UFC 330 ceremonial weigh-ins are in the books, and the fighters came face-to-face one final time before the organization's seventh numbered event of the year.
The weigh-ins took place at Xfinity Mobile Arena, which hosts the promotion's first visit to the "City of Brotherly Love" on Saturday (Paramount+).
UFC 330 is built around a pair of highly anticipated championship fights. Islam Makhachev (28-1 MMA, 17-1 UFC) puts the welterweight strap on the line against Ian Machado Garry (17-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) in the main event, while strawweight ***** leholder Mackenzie Dern (16-5 MMA, 11-5 UFC) takes on Gillian Robertson (17-8 MMA, 14-6 UFC) in the co-main event.
Outside of the that, there is just one local fighter on the card, as well as a less-than-desirable amount of ranked athletes to fill things out.
Nevertheless, all 12 scheduled matchups had staredowns on the eve of the event Friday, and you can see the complete video highlight above.

PHOENIX – One of the funniest storylines of last year's NBA season was the rivalry between Phoenix Suns wing Dillon Brooks and Philadelphia Sixers forward LeBron James. The 30-year-old had plenty of on and off the court antics to troll James, including attending Game 4 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder to watch him get eliminated. Despite switching teams this offseason, James isn't safe from Brooks, even on his birthday.
Phoenix faces off against Philadelphia at home on Dec. 30, which will be the 42nd birthday for the NBA all-time points leader. A fact that once Brooks learned about made that matchup even more exciting for him.

However, he does think the anticipation for the eventual game will build up more. UFC 330 (Paramount+), the promotion's seventh numbered event of the calendar year, takes place Saturday at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia 76ers will welcome NBA legend LeBron James to their roster in the upcoming 2026-27 season. They waited and waited and were able to land the future Hall of Famer on a 2-year $8 million deal. James brings his brilliance to the City of Brotherly Love and will be looking to help the Sixers reach the mountaintop.
James has won four championships in his career. Two of those came playing alongside Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013 as the two longtime friends were able to play together and put on a dazzling display of athleticism, lethal scoring, and elite-level basketball on a nightly basis.
As James prepares for year 24, Wade posted a message to him on Instagram as he wishes him luck in his 24th season in the NBA.

Every offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles are linked to some of the NFL's biggest names. Most of those rumors never materialize into anything. Rarely does smoke lead to an actual fire, but every so often a player reveals there was more substance to the speculation than fans ever realized.
Former All-Pro safety Tyrann Mathieu recently did just that. During the 2022 offseason, Mathieu became one of the most intriguing free agents on the market after his three-year stint with the Kansas City Chiefs ended.
The Eagles were looking to bolster their secondary, and yes, some conversations mentioned the City of Brotherly Love as a logical landing spot. He and Philadelphia's leadership even enjoyed a virtual interview once, but it wasn't meant to be. Mathieu ultimately chose to return home, signing a three-year, $28.3 million contract with the New Orleans Saints. Philadelphia ultimately pivoted, adding C.J. Gardner-Johnson instead. There isn't anyone in the Delaware valley who doesn't know how all of that worked out in the end.
Matthieu is now retired and co-hosting the In The Bayou With Tyrann Mathieu podcast. He admitted that joining Philadelphia was something he seriously considered before deciding on New Orleans.
The decision appeared understandable at the time. Returning to Louisiana allowed Mathieu to play for his hometown team, while the Saints believed they could remain competitive in the NFC.

Just ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles' training camp, the team announced it was signing defensive tackle Jordan Carter to a four-year contract extension worth $152 million. This extension will make him the highest-paid defensive tackle in the history of the NFL, surpassing the Tennessee ***** ans' Jeffery Simmons, who put pen to paper on a deal worth $105.8 million earlier in the offseason.
When discussing the extension at the training camp, Eagles' executive vice president, Howie Roseman, made a remark about the safety of fans' jerseys for certain players, without saying their names; it'd be presumed that he was talking about cornerbacks Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.
Mitchell, who was just named within the NFL's top 100 players earlier in the week, isn't in a contract year, with next season being his last guaranteed season in the City of Brotherly Love, given that the 2028 season lies under a team option. A similar thing can be said for DeJean, who has another year left on his contract, meaning the team's front office doesn't exactly have to rush to get either of their players similar extensions.

This past weekend may have ignited a new battle in the City of Brotherly Love. After LeBron James signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, an outpouring of emotion filled the airwaves of 97.5 The Fanatic.
Hosts celebrated the moment on air and across social media. The station, which also serves as the flagship radio home of the franchise, temporarily rebranded as 97.5 LeBron. In a moment that shifted the culture surrounding Philadelphia basketball, one talent from the station's chief competitor took a different route. That's when the first shots were fired.
"When LeBron James signs with the Sixers, Spike Eskin [94WIP afternoon drive host] comes on the air and says he's counting down the days till LeBron James leaves Philadelphia. Maybe some of its schtick, but I couldn't have been happier," said Fanatic midday host Jon Marks.

Following four-time MVP LeBron James' historic decision to shock the world by joining the Philadelphia 76ers, the news was met with elation by those in the City of Brotherly Love, including Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro, who already officially declared July 24 to be known as LeBron James Day in the state.
And the elation in Philadelphia is more than justified, as the 76ers now have as good a chance as anyone of taking home the 2026-27 NBA championship, with James set to be signed to one of the best value contracts in league history. Lest we forget, although James is now 41, he still put up a 21/7/6 stat line last season while having to share the ball with the likes of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.
James will now be signed to a deal that will pay him just $3.9 million next campaign, so we're having a hard time figuring out a player who might give their team a better bang for their buck than James will for Philadelphia next season at that salary.
And that was without even discussing the fact that Philadelphia also managed to get rid of Paul George this offseason, while adding Jaylen Brown and Anfernee Simons. Simply put, the Sixers are going to be an absolute force, at least on the offensive end, next season, and should be seen by everyone as a top ****** le contender.
However, there is some business the team still has to take care of.

The Boston Celtics have not had a fun offseason. To start July, they traded star guard Jaylen Brown, who was once the longest-tenured Celtic, to the rival Philadelphia 76ers for veteran wing Paul George, two first-round picks, and two second-round picks. Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens implied that the flexibility provided by that move would be more apparent in the future, but, at present, the blockbuster trade has left a sour taste in the mouths of many Celtics fans who are hungry for another ******* le.
Then, on Friday morning, ESPN insider Shams Charania broke the news everybody had been waiting for, reporting that four-time MVP LeBron James opted to take his talents to The City of Brotherly Love via a two-year, $8 million contract. James, a former member of the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers, has played for some of the Celtics' biggest rivals. He's even burned the C's in the playoffs before, albeit not in the last several years.
His return to the Eastern Conference could reignite that distaste for Boston, and maybe even vault the Sixers into championship contender status. If so, is Stevens partially responsible?
Stevens knew the risk of sending Brown to a rival, in-division team like the 76ers. And he also knew that James was a free agent, as the 22-time All-Star announced his plans to leave the Lakers on Tuesday, June 30.
The very next day, Brown was sent packing to Philly. Stevens told reporters that he lost sleep over the deal, yet he still pulled the trigger when the time came.

The LeBron James free agency frenzy finally concluded on Friday.
The 41-year-old future Hall-of-Famer announced on social media that he is signing with the Philadelphia 76ers, where he'll join former MVP Joel Embiid and perennial All-Stars Tyrese Maxey and Jaylen Brown, who the team acquired from the Celtics earlier this month.
That forms a pretty strong core in the City of Brotherly Love, and former NBA star Vince Carter — a Hall of Famer in his own right — doesn't think the league is ready for it.
"That's cheating," Carter said of Philadelphia adding James on "Cousins with Vince Carter & Tracy McGrady. "That's cheating if he goes there, because he doesn't have to do much to still be him. Now, your fifth starter has to guard (one of the 76ers' other stars)."
Despite his age, James remains a productive player. In 60 regular-season appearances last season, he averaged 33.2 minutes along with 20.9 points, 7.2 ******* ists and 6.1 rebounds. Now, with a strong supporting cast around him, Carter is putting the league on notice.

PHILADELPHIA — Bombs burst in the air, and one even landed in the seats at Citizens Bank Park.
Yet for almost the entirety of this 96th All-Star Game, all was quiet on the banks of the Delaware during the American League's 4-0 throttling of their National League counterparts in the first Midsummer Classic in Philadelphia since 1996.
Major League Baseball and the City of Brotherly Love went all in on America 250 – from quills to bike rides to Hologram Ray Charles and Patti LaBelle, all of which seemed to go over pretty well.

That was a much quieter affair, as you'll discover when we break down the winners and losers of this annual midseason meeting:

The All-Star break is officially in full swing, and following an absolutely epic Home Run Derby Monday, fans are primed and ready for the Midsummer Classic this evening. Philadelphia is hosting the festivities for the first time since 1996, bringing the best of the best to the City of Brotherly Love. The American League leads the National League all-time, 48-45, and has dominated the better part of the last three decades, losing just five times since 1997, and winning 10 of the last 12. Though we can’t forget last season, when a tied game after nine led to the first “swing-off” tiebreaker that allowed the NL to take the W as Philly’s own Kyle Schwarber won it in dramatic fashion.
Two star-studded lineups will be managed by a pair of excellent managers. Dave Roberts, the Los Angeles Dodgers skipper, is managing back-to-back years and his fifth All-Star game, and he will have five of his players on the roster. Making his managerial debut in the Midsummer Classic, Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider will be at the helm for the American League. The Jays fell to the Dodgers in a thrilling, seven-game World Series in 2025, and though Toronto hasn’t been as dominant this season, Schneider will have four players attending with Cy Young contender — and an old White Sox pal — Dylan Cease getting the start for the AL.
Leading the field with the most elected All Stars are the hometown Philadelphia Phillies, with six players represented this year, including two-time All-Star Cristopher Sánchez, who is starting on the mound for the National League. One of the best fun facts coming out of this year’s game is that Roy Halladay was the last starting pitcher to represent both the Blue Jays (2009) and the Phillies (2011). Though we will have long-time veterans with Chris Sale, Freddie Freeman, and Justin Verlander making their 10th ASG appearance, and the legendary Mike Trout was elected for the 12th time, getting the start out in center field tonight.
There are also quite a few young guys and rookies making their All-Star debut as well, as there are 11 players under 25 years old, and 36 first-timers. There is so much talent on both rosters, but I want to focus on three of those first-timers: Miguel Vargas, Munetaka Murakami, and Tristan Peters.

The MLB All-Star game has brought plenty of unique experiences to Philadelphia to celebrate baseball's best players, including MLB All-Star Village, a fan festival where attendees could interact with baseball and Philadelphia Phillies icons, participate in baseball-themed activities, and get a unique bite to eat.
All-Star Village spans over four days and ends on July 14 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center as one of the many events in the City of Brotherly Love.
The game is Tuesday.
2026 marks the fifth time Philadelphia has hosted the MLB All-Star Game and the first time since 1996. The Phillies have hosted the event four times (1976 and 1952) and the other time it was held by the Philadelphia Athletics.

The Philadelphia 76ers have become one of the frontrunners to acquire LeBron James in free agency, especially after they landed five-time All-Star and 2024 NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics just days ago. With Brown, two-time scoring champion Joel Embiid and young star guard Tyrese Maxey, they have a ready-made contender that James could potentially walk into and claim his fifth world ***** le with.
One man who knows about coming to the City of Brotherly Love and winning it all is Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley. After spending his first six seasons with the New York Giants, Barkley joined the Eagles prior to the 2024 season and then had a campaign for the ages. The LeBron James rumor mill has shifted into overdrive. As the four-time NBA champion weighs the next step in what could be the final chapter of his legendary career, the Philadelphia 76ers have emerged as one of several teams reportedly in the mix. Whether James ultimately lands in the City of Brotherly Love remains anyone's guess, but one of the city's biggest sports stars has already made his pitch.

Prince William is making headlines again, but this time for a different reason. Things have apparently heated up between the future monarch and Queen Camilla after she "effectively" blocked Harriet Sperling from wearing a tiara from the famed royal collection at her wedding to Peter Phillips. This reportedly made William "furious with Camilla." Moreover, sources said that the Queen is "furious" over William's desire to overrule this due to his "brotherly bond" with his cousin.
This is not the only occasion where the two royals were at loggerheads. Previously, during King Charles' visit to the U.S., the two had disagreements. Hence, Camilla is now encouraging her husband to have a serious talk with William. She believes his eldest son is already "acting" like the monarch. Additionally, he has been "far too eager to start calling the shots before his time."
An insider told Closer, "She's saying William needs to be taken down a peg and should not be challenging her authority the way he did." They further added that the Prince of Wales is "refusing to take orders from the King these days too."
The source added that the queen has "accused William of acting as though he already has the final say and that Charles' reign is merely a formality that needs to be endured before he takes over." While some might have gotten used to what Daryl Morey would do during the NBA draft, things in the City of Brotherly Love have changed in recent months, as the organization parted ways with Morey and began a long search for his successor.
That search would lead them to hire Mike Gansey, who had been serving as the General Manager of the Cleveland Cavaliers, as the team’s new President of Basketball Operations, which will see him be a big part of the team's proceedings moving forward, including the aforementioned draft.
During his introductory press conference, Gansey elaborated on his draft philosophy regarding a pick at that stage in the first round, explaining that it’s not about getting the highest skill ceiling, but also the ability to mesh with the core of Philadelphia’s squad.

The Philadelphia 76ers recently made the first big move of their offseason, appointing Mike Gansey as the President of Basketball Operations of the organization, taking over for the recently departed Daryl Morey, who held the position for six years in the City of Brotherly Love.
Gansey, who made the move from the Cleveland Cavaliers to be a part of the Sixers’ organization, will have a lot on his plate in the coming months, with free agency and the upcoming NBA Draft being among the top priorities.
An issue or aspect of his job that seamlessly blends between the two aforementioned priorities is roster construction, something that Philadelphia hasn’t had the easiest of times doing in the past few years, given that their salary cap is massively tied up in their big three players, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Paul George.
While there are always discussions about offloading one of the larger contracts on the Sixers’ payroll, during his introduction press conference on Monday morning, Gansey made his plans regarding the roster clear: he’s going to embrace them.

The Sixers are coming off a season where they finished 45-37 and were able to rally from a 3-1 deficit to upset the Boston Celtics in Round 1 of the playoffs. They were then swept out of Round 2 by the New York Knicks, so there is some work to be done in the City of Brotherly Love.
Gansey will be working with coach Nick Nurse, HBSE president Bob Myers, and the newly promoted Jameer Nelson to build a culture and an identity in Philadelphia. The Sixers were 17th in offensive rating and 16th in defensive rating as it was tough to really pinpoint what Philadelphia was really good at. The point is to build that going forward and really find people who want to be members of this team.
"Yeah, I mean, part of it's like getting in here, obviously, but we got to do the work, you know?" Gansey said. "Obviously, draft coming up, for example, you're talking to plenty of coaches, people that have been around these guys, and you want to bring in good people here. If they don't want to be here, or you don't feel they can fit with our culture, then we don't want it. We want people that want to be in Philadelphia and we want guys that—I want competitiveness. I want toughness. I want guys that hate to lose. Those are the kind of people I'm going to try and target and want to bring onto this roster."
Gansey's No. 2 in command will be Nelson who has been promoted to the team's Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations. The Chester, PA native, St. Joe's legend, and former All-Star in the NBA is looking to help Gansey build that culture and that identity in Philadelphia. That's something this franchise has not had for quite some time.
