Joe Rogan claims there will be little debate in the future that Israel committed a "genocide" in Gaza.
The veteran comic made the claim during the Wednesday episode of his podcast, in which he said the idea of genocide by Israel would become "universally accepted."
Rogan said he can't see how anyone can support Israel's war in Gaza, even when considering it was spurred by the Hamas terror attack in October 2023 where about 1,200 people were slaughtered and hundreds of hostages were taken.
"Like, how could anybody defend that? I don't even know how many people are dead," Rogan said. "You have a complete wipeout of a city — like 90% of Gaza is gone, or whatever the percentage is. You look at the buildings — you look at what it used to look like, [and] you look at what it looks like now — like, this is defensible?"

Real Madrid forward Endrick has been appointed as UNICEF’s newest ambassador in Brazil, the organization announced on Wednesday.

The Giants kicked off the second half of the draft with a player who posted comical numbers this year: first baseman Charlie Bussey III, a right-handed hitter out of Francis Marion, taken with the No. 328 pick. Obviously players are drafted first and foremost based on scouting their live mechanics, which is good because it's hard to know how much stock to put into smaller school stats. Bussey is Example A: in the Division II Conference Carolinas, playing against competition such as Ferrum College and Shorter University, Bussey hit a truly laughable .489/.604/.866 with 21 home runs and 40 stolen bases in 60 games, while walking well over twice as frequently as he struck out.

To most sports fans, Will Compton isn’t a household name. He arrived in the NFL as an undrafted free agent and somehow managed to carve out a nice career as a linebacker spanning nine seasons from 2013 to 2021.
Compton only played for three teams: Washington, Tennessee ****** ans, and the Raiders (in both Oakland and Las Vegas). Yet, he managed to start 40 of his 92 appearances. He was also on the New Orleans Saints’ squad but released without playing.
If anything, he’s done more to make a name for himself since retiring from the league (though his playing career no doubt set him up nicely post-retirement). Now, Compton can commonly be heard on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast, which he co-created with Taylor Lewan. Compton has become known for being a bit of a goofball, or in other words, he loves to make light of comical situations.
One of Compton’s recent bits included acting like he was bothered by not being one of the many who received an invite to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding. TMZ ran with Compton’s previous comments, in which he said he jokingly said he was “flabbergasted.”

Slaughter kicked it off when he joined the Joes, Piper evened the score by joining Cobra, and finally, Perry bolstered the good guys' cause by joining Slaughter as one of the "All-American Heroes." This wasn't Dwayne Johnson or Channing Tatum playing a Joe; these were real-life athletes joining the ranks to go toe-to-toe.

Sgt. Slaughter burst on the wrestling scene in 1980 as a former Marine, calling his adversaries "maggots" and using more demeaning names to tempt them into matching muscles. While he used his real name, Robert Remus, for six years before that, it was his hard-edged militaristic personality that propelled him to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004. He went head-to-head with legends like Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, The Iron Sheik, and The Ultimate Warrior.
The fictional version of Sgt. Slaughter made his first appearance as a G.I. Joe in the June 1986 issue, "Slaughter." He went on to become the hard-nosed trainer of Joes, pushing them beyond their usual limits and finding how much they can actually handle before they come face-to-face with the worst that Cobra has to offer. His appearance in the comics, the animated series, and the animated film mirrored his wrestling gear, which usually included a tank top and a drill instructor's hat. This was years ago, when he was hosting a TV show called Monday Night Quarterback with Jim Walden, the former legendary Washington State football coach who had since pivoted to broadcasting in the area.

July 3 (Reuters) - Adam Sandler, the comic actor known for goofball roles in movies such as "Billy ‌Madison" and "The Waterboy," has now officiated one of ‌the most-anticipated celebrity unions of the century.
Sandler served as officiant for pop megastar Taylor Swift's nuptials with football player Travis Kelce, a publicist for Swift disclosed on Friday. A statement described Sandler as a friend of the couple.
Kelce, one of the greatest tight ends ‌in National Football League ⁠history, had a cameo role in Sandler's 2025 film "Happy Gilmore 2."
"Man, this life is crazy!! Still ⁠so surreal I got this opportunity," Kelce wrote on social media at the time, under a photo of himself with Sandler on set.

"Full House" star Jodie Sweetin is opening up about where she and the rest of the cast stand with twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. While appearing on a recent episode of "Comics and Kicks," Sweetin said that she and the Olsens are fine despite rumors that the 40-year-olds were in a bad place with a majority of the cast. According to Sweetin, there's no truth to the claims, and she confirmed that the pair spent several days together in 2022, when actor Bob Saget died.

Adam Carolla said he doesn't want to hear a **** thing from ex-President Joe Biden — and other liberals, for that matter — about President Donald Trump's revamp of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
The veteran podcaster and comic ranted on his show on Tuesday that the much-publicized and much-maligned pool project doesn't affect average Americans one bit, so Biden and others just sound out of touch and clueless when they complain about it. Carolla also said Biden has some chutzpah to whine about the pool, considering his handling of immigration was much more devastating to the country.
"Everything for Democrats is symbolic. It's all symbolic," Carolla said. "It's all like, 'It's cruel! He's mean! He's doing a thing!' It doesn't make any difference, the f*ckin' reflecting pool, whatever he's doing [does] not have any actual impact on anybody ever."
He started the rant after playing a clip of Biden ripping Trump and his "vanity projects" at a Democratic Party Gala in Maryland last weekend. Biden was booed at that same gala, with one protester yelping out he was "Genocide Joe" over his approach to Israel's war in Gaza.
Carolla said he couldn't stand the clip of Biden ripping Trump, considering how bad he was on the border.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Comedian Carlos Mencia was arrested Thursday and charged with 12 felony charges for failing to report or pay taxes on more than $8 million in earnings, prosecutors said.
Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced the charges at a news conference where he called Mencia "one of California's biggest tax scofflaws."
The 58-year-old stand-up comic was charged with six felony counts of failure to file personal income tax with the intent to evade taxes — one each for the years 2019 to 2024 — and six similar counts for corporate taxes.

He has not entered a plea, and emails sent to his attorney seeking comment was not immediately answered.

Carlos Mencia, who hosted Comedy Central's Mind of Mencia in the 2000s, was arrested Thursday and charged with a dozen counts of felony state tax evasion. Prosecutors said the comic failed to report $8.7 million in personal and corporate income taxes between tax years 2019-24 and owes the state of California more than $300,000.
Mencia, 58, whose real name is Ned Holness, faces six counts each of failure to file personal and corporate income tax with the intent to evade tax (read the indictment here). If convicted on all charges, he faces up to 11 years and four months in state prison. Mencia remained in custody late Thursday on $250,000 bail and is set to be arraigned Monday at the Van Nuys Courthouse.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Tom Dreesen, who along with partner Tim Reid formed one of America's first interracial stand-up comedy duos and later spent years as Frank Sinatra's opening act, died Wednesday. He was 86.
Dreesen died at his home in Los Angeles, according to publicist Lori De Waal. A cause of death was not provided.
After meeting in Chicago, Dreesen and Reid, who was Black, formed "Tim and Tom" in 1969. Against a backdrop of simmering racial tension, they used humor to address social issues and promote understanding between audiences of different backgrounds. They worked together until the mid-1970s. Reid went on to solo success playing DJ Venus Flytrap on the popular TV sitcom "WKRP in Cincinnati," where Dreesen was a guest star.
After splitting with Reid, Dreesen honed a solo comedy act, making over 500 national TV appearances, including 60 visits to "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson." He also was a frequent guest and sometime guest host on "The Late Show with David Letterman." Their friendship dated to the early 1970s when both worked at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood, California.
Dreesen's final TV appearance came last week on "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen," which replaced Stephen Colbert's canceled CBS late-night show.
