Here's what we know after Monday's press conference in New York to announce the new MMA promotion backed by Strikeforce founder and former Bellator president Scott ******* er:
— It will be called Ki MMA, which looks like K-1 on paper but is ******* ounced like "key," which led to at least one accidental pun in just the first half-hour or so of conversation among the executives.
— Its fights will take place in a modified boxing ring, with such an abundance of tightly ******* ed ropes that should help us finally figure out if it's possible to use this set up without fighters getting tangled or falling through.
— It will focus on tournament-based competition, beginning with a 32-man featherweight tournament in 2027, that will draw fighters from four different continents — North America, South America, Europe and Asia — leading to a world grand prix final, where the eventual champion will have to win two fights in one night.
What we didn't find out was who will be in this tournament or where we'll be able to watch it. Those are typically two pretty important factors in determining whether or not fight fans will get on board, but I guess we're taking things one step at a time.

AUSTIN, Texas — Hours before the out-of-nowhere comeback, before Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium pulsated with noise and shock, before the "SEC, SEC" chants spontaneously broke out over the din of elation and before thousands of forlorn Ohio State fans walked out into the night having that conversation about Ryan Day once again, a plume of burnt orange smoke seemed to linger over the field in the searing Texas heat.
It is a standard part of the pregame pyrotechnics here, but it was a particularly poignant image in the moments before a game like this one between two of college football's biggest brands and highest-ranked teams, with consequences that will take the rest of the season to figure out.
For 14 Saturdays of college football, we're all just waiting for the smoke to clear.
By the end of Texas 24, Ohio State 23, it was a beautiful picture but an incomplete one, made possible only by a regular season that feels increasingly under attack by the powers that be. Year by year, the coaches and administrators at the mega-programs become less interested in playing games like these because the stakes are so high. And yet, without those high stakes of a limited playoff structure where losing this kind of game can knock you out, what kind of sport are you left with?
"Hopefully it pays dividends for us in December," Texas coach Steve Sarkisian said late Saturday night. "But we have a lot more meat on the bone we have to chew off here before we can start worrying about whether this win helps us get into a playoff or not."

NEW DELHI: Ishan Kishan and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi shared a fun moment after East Zone's memorable Duleep Trophy 2026/27 triumph. Kishan, who captained East Zone in the final against South Zone, had a light-hearted exchange with his 15-year-old deputy over who should get the credit for the successful DRS calls during the match.
Kishan had a memorable final, scoring more than 350 runs across the two innings, including a stunning 270 in the first innings, and was named Player of the Match.
Kishan jokingly claimed that Sooryavanshi had taken all the credit for the DRS calls, even though the captain was the one who was initially going to take the reviews.
"Yeh sab review mein credit le hi liya hai har jagah. Bhale main lene waala tha review, but aake mast bol deta tha main aapke paas aa jaata hu. Phir toh internet will be like: Vaibhav! My goodness! Vaibhav is the one! Toh bohot acche se isne woh kaarya nibhaya hai. (I am very happy (He has taken all the credit for the review everywhere. Even though I was about to take the review, he would come and say it so confidently, 'I'll come to you'. Then the internet will be like: Vaibhav!)," Kishan said in a video posted on BCCI's social media handle.
Sooryavanshi was quick with his reply.
"Aur jab field ke bahar jaa rahe the tab kon le raha tha review? Yeh bhi toh bata dijiye! (When we were going off the field, who was taking the reviews then? Tell us that too!)"
Kishan then praised the teenager's leadership qualities and suggested that Sooryavanshi could have a bright future as a captain.
"Haan, that was Vaibhav himself! Yes. Future captain, maybe? Let's see how it goes. But it's very good to have him in the team because more than a very good player, he's a very nice boy who takes care of each and every one in the team, whether it's a junior player or senior."
Kishan then jokingly corrected himself when talking about Sooryavanshi being a junior.
"Achha, junior toh tu hi hua (Oh, you are not a junior anymore now), sorry, sorry. That is one quality which I love about him. Hopefully, he'll be more dangerous than what he is today.
"I think it's not going to be his first or the last. I think he's gonna play many more like this, and he'll keep performing the way he's doing right now," he stated.
Sooryavanshi also spoke about the fun atmosphere in the East Zone camp and praised Kishan for his outstanding batting performance in the final.
"The way we were off the field and the way we were enjoying inside, it was a lot of fun. The way he batted in the final, it was unbelievable. I can't say anything much about it.
"I think the match changed from there and as a captain, a lot of people have been watching and playing under him for a long time. It was a lot of fun to play in his captaincy. We enjoyed a lot."
Kishan ended the exchange by stressing the importance of enjoying the game as a team.

Brandon Graham will not be returning to the Philadelphia Eagles to suit up for a 17th NFL season.
The two-time Super Bowl champion reportedly stated as much during an event in Philly on Tuesday morning.
Eagles news: Brandon Graham says he is officially retired. He made those comments during today’s “Breakfast with the Birds” pep rally at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. #FlyEaglesFly
Graham originally walked away after the 2024 season but then came out of retirement to help the Eagles, who were in need of defensive line help, midway through their 2025 campaign.
Following the conclusion of last season, Graham expressed interest in playing one more year … under the condition that he would be able to get a full training camp under his belt to properly prepare for 2026. But camp obviously came and went with Graham remaining unsigned.

It took until Sunday night, but the Big Ten's Week 1 is officially in the books. All 18 teams have now played at least one game (USC played two before most ever played one), and we're starting to get an idea of how good (or bad) teams might be. Though next week should tell us even more -- a lot more.
There was a big upset, with Rutgers going down to UMass on Thursday to kick things off, and a near upset with Michigan football surviving what was thought to be an overmatched Western Michigan team. Some teams, like Oregon, got off to a slow start, while others were exactly as expected, like Michigan State.
With that in mind, here are our Week 1 power rankings for the Big Ten.
Preseason ranking: 17
Week 1 result: UMass 37, Rutgers 21

Real Madrid's recent 1-0 defeat at the hands of Real Betis was an early reminder that the team still requires a lot of work, especially when it comes to calming the dressing room.
Nevertheless, Real Madrid will be dealt with yet another tricky contest this midweek as they take on Inter Milan in the first match of the Champions League this season.
Heading into this crucial encounter, Jose Mourinho is facing a major dilemma, with at least four midfielders missing for different reasons.

The Colorado Buffaloes opened the 2026 college football season with an impressive upset victory over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Thursday night.
After falling behind 13-7 with fewer than two minutes left on the clock in the fourth quarter, Buffaloes quarterback Julian Lewis led his team on an eight play, 75-yard touchdown drive to give Colorado a 14-13 lead. The defense came up equally as clutch, blocking a last-second field goal attempt as Deion Sanders' team escaped with victory.
Sanders, meanwhile, remains one of the most polarizing personalities in the game of college football.

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal to sign Mykhailo Mudryk on loan from Chelsea for the campaign.
Mudryk is set to cross the capital and sign for Spurs on a season-long agreement, as the Ukraine winger looks to revive his career.
The 25-year-old was freed to return to football earlier last month after a four-year suspension was overturned. He had been suspended since November 2024 after a banned substance was found in a drugs test but denied any intentional wrongdoing. Mudryk was cleared to return following an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
The winger had been keen to remain in thePremier League as he explored a loan exit from Chelsea and Spurs have now secured his services.
The North Londoners will pay a loan fee for Mudryk, who has agreed personal terms. Spurs will have a non-mandatory option to sign Mudryk for a fee of £75m at the end of the loan, reportsFabrizio Romano.

Darius Cooper appears to have done enough to earn a spot on the Eagles' 53-man roster.
The wide receiver is not in uniform for Friday night's preseason finale against the Cincinnati Bengals, a strong indication that Philadelphia plans to keep him after a solid training camp. Cooper was already expected to survive final cuts, and sitting out the finale reinforces that outlook. Cooper strengthened his case by making plays with the first-team offense while DeVonta Smith and Makai Lemon dealt with hamstring injuries. The additional opportunities allowed him to build chemistry with Jalen Hurts and show he could produce against some of Philadelphia's top defensive backs.
That work mattered in a crowded receiving group. With Smith, Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks and Hollywood Brown in the mix, Cooper needed to give the Eagles a reason to keep him as they **** embled their new-look offense. He also contributed against New England, with receptions of 25 and 13 yards from Andy Dalton helping set up a Will Shipley touchdown. Philadelphia has not announced its initial 53-man roster, and Cooper's absence alone does not make his spot official. Still, the circumstances suggest the Eagles have seen enough to feel comfortable keeping him.
The next challenge would be turning that roster spot into a consistent role in Sean Mannion's offense. For now, Cooper appears positioned to enter the regular season with Philadelphia.

Real Madrid appear increasingly likely to finish the summer transfer window without another signing, with club director Emilio Butragueño reinforcing Jose Mourinho's message that the current squad is effectively complete.
Los Blancos have already been among the busiest clubs of the summer.
Six new players, namely Yan Diomande, Denzel Dumfries, Bernardo Silva, Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konaté and Carlos Espi, have arrived to reinforce Mourinho's options.
That activity has left Real Madrid with a crowded squad, and the challenge now is not finding another player in the transfer market but creating room for one.
The problem is that no member of the current group is keen to leave.

WEST LAFAYETTE — One of Purdue football's biggest impacts from the transfer portal could end up coming from the smallest package.
The Boilermakers list Travis Terrell Jr. at 5 foot 9, 180 pounds, as Jackson State did before them. The Atlanta native proved at the FCS level those measurements mattered less than his 40-yard dash time and intangible attributes.
At that size, his new teammates ****** umed he came with next-level speed. Terrell began showing last spring he did not come to the Big Ten to run away from contact.
"You see him in pass pro – he really puts his head in there, no matter who he goes up against," fellow running back Fame Ijeboi said. "... He's a hard-nosed runner, and his size does not show how tough he is."

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has been talking about Julian Alvarez once again and has told Atletico Madrid that the club still want to sign the Argentina international.
Laporta has already said that Barcelona have made a bid for the forward and now says he remains hopeful Atletico will accept the offer.
"We are very interested in the player and we would like our offer to be accepted," he said, per Mundo Deportivo.
"We do this with all due respect to Atlético, and if they are in a position to sell the player on the market, we are prepared to buy him in accordance with the offer we made."
Atletico's stance throughout the transfer window has been that Alvarez is simply not for sale, even though the forward has asked for move.

Genoa sporting director Diego Lopez has been suspended until 8 September for his conduct following Saturday's defeat to Napoli.
According to Il Fatto Quotidiano, Serie A disciplinary judge Gerardo Mastrandrea found that Lopez improperly entered the pitch at full time despite not being listed on the matchday sheet, repeatedly contested a refereeing decision while adopting an aggressive attitude, continued those protests in the dressing room area and briefly prevented the referee from closing his own dressing room door.

The flashpoint was the opening goal in the 2-0 defeat, with Genoa furious that Kevin De Bruyne's challenge on Johan Vasquez went unpunished in the build-up to his own strike. Vergara added the second.
Daniele De Rossi had protested from the touchline during the match and was scathing afterwards, saying there was not a person in the world who thought it was not a foul.

The Portland Trail Blazers will be without Shaedon Sharpe for a significant portion of the 2026-27 campaign.
Sharpe sustained a torn meniscus in his knee, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. He is now expected to miss six months recovering. Based on that timeline, barring any setbacks, Sharpe should be able to take the court again in late February or early March.
Specifics of the injury, including when Sharpe injured his knee, are not yet known.
Sharpe averaged a career-high 20.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game last season, his fourth in the league after the Trail Blazers selected him with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. He signed a four-year, $90 million extension with the team last fall that will keep him with the franchise through 2030.
This post will be updated with more information shortly.

The Chicago Bears looked crisp and disciplined last week in their preseason win against the Cleveland Browns, but yesterday against the Cincinnati Bengals, they looked like a different team. The Bengals rolled to a 27-9 win, as the Bears failed to get anything going. They were just 2 of 14 (14.3%) on third downs and 1 of 3 on fourth downs, while committing 11 penalties for 81 yards after only getting flagged twice vs Cleveland.
The Bengals were 46.2% on third-down tries and were penalized 9 times for 49 yards.
The Bears had 430 yards of offense last week, but just 322 yesterday in Cincy, while the Bengals put up 346.
Chicago's three quarterbacks only completed 55.8% of their passes for 250 yards, and it wasn't all inaccuracy, as there were a few drops too.
The Bears had the game's only takeaway (an interception), but they didn't get any sacks. They held the Bengals' ground game to just 64 yards on 20 attempts (3.2 ypc), but allowed 282 passing yards and 3 touchdowns through the air.

It's preseason week two for the Chicago Bears and the Cincinnati Bengals!
When these two teams last met in the regular season, the Bears won in a wild 47- 42 game featuring an incredible Caleb Williams-to-Colston Loveland touchdown. The stakes won't be quite as high tonight, so let's hope they get in and out with no significant injuries.
Both teams won their respective preseason openers last week, with the Bears sitting most starters and the Bengals playing most of theirs. But this week, with the two teams practicing together on Thursday, the Bengals announced they'll sit most of their starters, but the Bears made no declaration.
And based on the pregame chatter, it appears the Bears will play some starters. Last year, Caleb Williams played in the first two series of preseason game number two against the Bills, and he was 6 of 10 for 107 yards and a TD pass.
For today's game, Chicago's QB2 Tyson Bagent is out with a hamstring issue, which means Case Keenum should get some reps after Williams, and Miller Moss should get a bunch of work, which could pay dividends if he's looking for a practice squad gig in 2026.

Former England fast bowler Stuart Broad has delivered a blunt verdict on Pakistan, describing them as a "poor side" and backing England to complete a 3-0 clean sweep in the three-Test series.
Speaking on The Love for Cricket Podcast, Broad was critical of Pakistan's current Test team and suggested England should be expected to dominate the series.
"They are a poor side, they are not a really good side. You would imagine and you'd think that England should win 3-0. And pretty comfortably," Broad said.
The former England pacer, however, acknowledged that a clean sweep cannot be taken for granted. He added that failing to win the series would represent a major disappointment for the hosts.
"But that isn't guaranteed. But if England don't come out with a Test match series win, it really is a huge failure," Broad said.
His comments came after Pakistan endured a difficult opening two days in the first Test at Headingley in Leeds. Pakistan were bowled out for just 171 on the opening day, with England's bowlers exposing the tourists' batting problems.
England then took firm control with the bat, reaching 366-8 by stumps on Day 2 to secure a 195-run first-innings lead.
Joe Root and Harry Brook were among four England batters to register half-centuries. Root made 66 and shared a 150-run partnership with Jordan ******* , who scored 73, while Dan Lawrence contributed 51 on his return to Test cricket after two years.
Brook, meanwhile, narrowly missed out on a century at his home ground. The world's top-ranked Test batter made 91 after surviving an early scare when he was dropped on one. He was eventually dismissed by Pakistan spinner Ali Usman, who claimed 5-92 for his first five-wicket haul in Test cricket.
England maintained a brisk scoring rate of 4.46 runs per over, although the approach was less aggressive than the traditional Bazball style ******* ociated with the previous Stokes-McCullum era.
Root also missed an opportunity to add another landmark century to his record. After reaching 66, England's new Test captain was trapped lbw by Khurram Shahzad and wasted a review, with the ball-tracking showing it would have hit the middle stump.
At stumps, Jamie Smith was unbeaten on 16, with Jofra Archer yet to score.
With England already holding a commanding position in the first Test, Broad's prediction of a 3-0 series victory will only add to the pressure on Pakistan as the visitors look to fight their way back into the contest.

New England Patriots linebacker Robert Spillane is excited to have former teammate and veteran lineman Greg Van Roten in the mix.
Spillane and Van Roten spent time together with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023. They became good friends during that run, and now, they'll have an opportunity to team together again in New England.
The Patriots have dealt with notable injuries at the guard position, with Ben Brown being out for multiple weeks and Andrew Rupcich going on season-ending injured reserve. Van Roten has started in 105 NFL games and brings plenty of experience as a depth option for the team.
When speaking with media members, Spillane noted that Van Roten is a hard worker, which is reminiscent of a player who entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2012.
Van Roten is a solid signing for additional depth along the offensive line.

There just wasn't enough LoDo Magic for the Colorado Rockies as their comeback effort fell just short in a 7-6 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Despite a solid offensive night and bullpen performance, the Rockies couldn't overcome another difficult starting pitcher outing.
Hoping to replicate his successful outing last time facing the Dodgers at Coors Field, Ryan Feltner faced a tough test against the Dodgers lineup.
Feltner worked through the opening frames, keeping the game manageable. The Dodgers manufactured a run in the first inning and added a Shohei Ohtani two-run home run in the third inning. The Rockies managed to answer back both times to tie the game 3-3, but the Dodgers' potent order eventually broke through in the fourth inning.
View Link
The Dodgers kicked off the inning with three-straight doubles to score two runs, including Kyle Tucker's to snap an 0-for-26 streak at the plate. Hunter Feduccia then drew his second walk of the evening against Feltner before Ohtani grounded into a fielder's choice. Freddie Freeman capped off the scoring with a sacrifice fly to put the Dodgers up 6-3.

College football turns over the player pool via graduation and transfer portal defections at a dizzying rate in the modern era. Here is a list of my favorite breakout players available in Yahoo Standard P4 College Fantasy Football Leagues.
Play Yahoo's new College Fantasy Football game: Create or join a league now!
One thing is clear when it comes to the QB position in Yahoo Standard Scoring Leagues that utilize 4-point passing touchdown formats: rushing production is imperative. Of the top-10 scoring quarterbacks last year, six of them rushed for 400+ yards and all 10 top scorers topped the 200+ yard rushing barrier.
For his part, Leavitt fits LSU head coach Lane Kiffin's QB archetype perfectly, evoking comparisons to CFF stars Matt Corral and Jaxson Dart. Leavitt averaged a strong 22.5 fantasy PPG in his seven appearances before suffering a season-ending injury. He has the tools and plays in the perfect system to compliment his dual-threat skill set and create explosive college fantasy football production.
With starting RB Jonah Coleman compromised with a leg injury for the second half of the year, Mohammed ripped off two-straight 100-yard games to end the regular season. His 14-carry, 105 yard showing against rival Oregon was an important game for him, as then-Oregon DC Tosh Lupoi took the Cal head coaching job in the offseason and immediately moved to bring in Mohammed to lead the Bears' backfield. For CFF purposes, he secured 17-of-19 targets for 138 yards in 2025 and should have a clear path to 180+ rush attempts with 30+ receptions in Berkley.

Dear Roker Report,
I wanted to share two transfer suggestions that, in my opinion, could completely change Sunderland's attacking options this season.
The first priority has to be Geny Catamo. Sunderland still haven't completed the deal, and I really hope the club keeps pushing because he looks like exactly the type of winger we need – direct, quick, technically strong and capable of beating defenders 1v1. He would give us a genuine threat from the right side and add something different to the current squad. For me, this should remain one of the club's biggest priorities before the window closes.
If Catamo can be completed, I think the next attacking target should be Amine Gouiri from Marseille.

Despite having a strong young roster and a new front office regime, in place the future outlook for the Atlanta Falcons is pretty bleak, at least according to the national media.
ESPN has come out with their annual future power rankings list for all 32 NFL teams, and the Falcons are near the bottom - coming in at No. 27 on their list. They ranked 21st in overall roster strength not including QB, 31st at quarterback, 17th in coaching and 24th in front office.
The worst of it is that they see no change coming on the horizon. ESPN included this dire bold prediction for Atlanta: they won't make the playoffs through the 2029 season.
"The Falcons will not make the playoffs from 2027 to 2029. Atlanta needs a quarterback, but the current team isn't bad enough to land a top-two pick. The Falcons could draft one next year, but they might have to give up some serious capital to trade up. And though there are building blocks on this team, I fear the Falcons could be caught in the middle -- even in the NFC South." -- Seth Walder, ESPN
The good news is that it's impossible to see that far into the future with any accuracy. If the Falcons were to trade for or sign or draft a perfectly-average starting quarterback some time in the next couple of years they would instantly be considered the favorites to win the NFC South - and the playoff spot that comes with it.

Curating these pieces is a juxtaposing activity. Because I put them together the day after the game in question, usually my own personal emotions have calmed down a little. But essentially, I then relive the experience all again going through the reaction.
That is a very nice feeling after a win – not so much after a result like Saturday's. While imperfect, the first half was electric, and a faraway cry from what we experienced last season in the best way possible.
The second however was nothing short of unacceptable, and it was film we'd all seen too many times before. Here's how you reacted to the key talking points.
The worst part of that second-half performance was the fact that, after a summer of progress and seeming positive steps, the same cracks we saw so painfully often last season were still there.
Countless comical defensive errors, a midfield all at sea that the opposition played through with ease and a jarringly blunt attacking showing – particularly once Jack Marriott was subbed off.

ATLANTA — The Indiana Fever won a pivotal overtime game over the Dream 95-91 Sunday at State Farm Arena to finish the season series 2-2 and preserve a tiebreaker opportunity at the end of the regular season.
Caitlin Clark made the clutch free throws at the end of the game, finishing with 26 points and nine ******* ists. Kelsey Mitchell had her 19th straight game scoring 20 or more points, finishing with 20. Makayla Timpson had a career-high 20 points and seven rebounds, while Aliyah Boston had 18 points and 14 rebounds.
At the end of regulation, Rhyne Howard's 3-point shot to win it missed, then Angel Reese had a point-blank layup attempt miss. Reese was 3 for 13 in the paint after that missed, and she finished with 15 points, 14 rebounds and six ******* ists. Allisha Gray had a game-high 32 points.
Here's what I liked and disliked, and what the win means.

Why Fever's Stephanie White might have the 'toughest job in professional sports' originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Stephanie White was greeted with applause Friday night before the Indiana Fever defeated the Dallas Wings at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
It was a marked departure from White's reception in the Fever's win over the New York Liberty on Tuesday, before which White had delivered a fiery speech defending her players from a number of recent controversies.
White arguably has the toughest job in the WNBA. In a span of three years, the Fever has transformed from an afterthought into a contender whose entire regular-season schedule has been broadcast on national television.
Indiana's trajectory as a franchise, for better and for worse, changed when it was afforded the chance to draft Caitlin Clark. Since she returned to the Fever in 2025, White has had to navigate Clark's superstardom while keeping All-Stars Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell engaged, and eliminating distractions prompted by Sophie Cunningham's clumsy comments about transgender participation in women's sports.

Felix Hirschnagl had to do without several key players in the clash with Schalke: Jan-Luca Riedl and Enzo dos Santos were with the senior team, while Fadi Zarqelain and Luke Fahrenhorst were part of the U23 squad. In addition, Ahmad Najdi, Johann Lasse Jaensch, Peniel Poba and Hamzath Mohamadou were absent through injury. As a result, the coach largely stuck with the starting XI that had won the opening match in Oberhausen 4-2. Luis Alaze came into midfield for Najdi, while Liam Kante defended in place of Lenni Strößner.
BVB started confidently, moved the ball around well and crowned their promising start with the opening goal in the eighth minute. The move was initiated by Tom Faust, who sent Justin Hoy on his way with a diagonal pass. Schalke defender Lasse Deutschmann turned the captain's cross over the line ahead of the waiting Bjarki Gardarsson. The Black and Yellows dominated the match and created further chances, but Justin Hoy in particular, who stood out, lacked luck and precision in front of goal (16th, 26th minute). Luis Alaze was unfortunate too: after a mistake by goalkeeper Kyrylo Khadesevych, he shot at goal from 16 meters, but Amir El Abdouni headed the ball clear of danger (44th).
Schalke coach Norbert Elgert reacted early, making personnel and tactical changes in the 36th minute. They had an immediate effect after the restart. Switzerland's Timo Wiesner first failed in a one-on-one against BVB keeper Julien Froese, who reacted brilliantly, and then struck the outside of the post with a free-kick from 18 meters (51st/52nd). Schalke were much more present and active in the second half. Mika Brocks hit the post after 72 minutes, while at the other end it was mainly Justin Hoy who provided the spark and hit the crossbar with a free-kick in the 70th minute. All in all, Borussia deservedly came away with the derby win.
"After the break, it was a bit of youthful madness. But overall, we put a lot into it, and maybe that's why we were rewarded. I always believe in karma," said coach Felix Hirschnagl, recalling last year's unfortunate 3-3 draw in the main round: "We didn't get the derby win over the line in the decisive phase then, but this time we did."
BVB now have two away games in a row: on Sunday (23/08, 11:00) at VfL Osnabrück and on Wednesday (26/08, 18:00) at MSV Duisburg.
