Fans haven't seen much of Julia Roberts lately, but a source says Danny Moder is getting plenty of face time with the Oscar winner.
"Julia is in another one of her long work hiatuses and spending all of her time at home with Danny," the source explains to Star. "It puts Danny in the hot seat, because when Julia's home, she likes to have Danny around. If she isn't acting he can't just bail and go work on a film himself."
According to the source, the Pretty Woman icon, 58, has been extra clingy now that the three kids she and the cinematographer, 57, share — twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 21, and son Henry, 19 — are out of the house.
"They're empty nesters and Julia refuses to go through that process alone," spills the source.

A versatile and highley rated performer, on paper it seemed to some as if Calvin Palmer's big money move in February 1968 was exactly what Sunderland's struggling squad needed, and yet when he departed two years the later his release felt inevitable – and the man that had brought him was certainly happy to see him go.
Bought by the recently reinstalled Alan Brown, Palmer's issues rarely came down to ability. Although fans felt they never got to see the same all action displays he produced at previous club Stoke City they still recognised his versatility and commitment to winning, particularly during one early appearance when against Stoke he took over from the injured Jimmy Montgomery in goal. It was an example of the type of self-sacrifice Brown would usually appreciate and yet the pair were unable to ever strike up a working relationship, a clash of personalities meaning that the notoriously formidable manager and his unconventional recruit often ***** ed heads.
Palmer would invariably take his football seriously but as a character struggled to acquiesce to Brown's rigid structure and expectations. A squad trip to a cinema the month after signing, during which Palmer decided to leave early, led to Brown disciplining him for a breach of club rules for instance, and once the tone was set a number of other battles followed. By January 1970 Palmer was on the transfer list at his own request, and there was clearly no way back for him.
A court case and subsequent driving ban that month served to emphasise the differences between the player and manager; Palmer had found himself on the wrong side of the law whilst Brown had previously served as a police officer and maintained a strict zero tolerance attitude towards any sort of infringements thereafter. In more modern times it might be sensed that Palmer's nature simply warranted a different approach, but the 'Bomber's' management style never relied on subtlety and in the May he confirmed his decision to cut his losses on the £70,000 fee that had been paid and gave his player a free transfer.
It was presumed that this would be the end of the matter, but Palmer, often accused of being 'outspoken' in those more deferential times, did still intend of having the final word. In August he joined Cape Town City and the following month there was to be a rude awakening for Brown when on this day a national Sunday paper launched a 'warts and all' series detailing from South Africa the views and stories of the now ex Rokerman. Whereas Palmer's seemingly divergent traits would be better understood now it was easy then to tag him as a controversial figure, but even still the new column was quite the exposé, with the account being labelled as an 'explosive' chat with 'football's stormiest rebel'.

On a cold November morning, designer Isaac Mizrahi gets up, leaves his apartment, and trudges to the corner newsstand to pick up a copy of Women's Wear Daily. It's the day after Mizrahi's Spring/Summer 1994 show, and the ink on the reviews is still wet. Reading from the pages, he quotes, "'His usually great color sense failed him, his fabric sense failed him, and certainly, his sense of how a modern woman dresses after 8 p.m. failed him." The verdict is withering. Mizrahi, one of the great artists of '90s ready-to-wear fashion, has been tossed out. Disgraced. Lightly "cancelled," as some might call it these days.
Douglas Keeve's sublime 1995 documentary, "Unzipped," follows Mizrahi in the aftermath of a train wreck, piecing his reputation back together with his next collection, attempting to make something beautiful from the rubble. We find Mizrahi's world in grayscale, drained of color in the wake of critical and cultural failure. Then, the opening notes of Sandra Bernhard's 1994 cover of Sylvester's "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" cue the pigmentation, cascading over bright images of models in fittings, garments hanging from racks, and plenty of DayGlo faux furs. In her version, Bernhard alters the lyrics to pay tribute to Sylvester, whose untimely death left an immense legacy. "Sylvester, sister," Bernhard coos, "You were so beautiful, you were so fragile, you were so . . . real."
But just before Bernhard finishes the word, the song fades to silence, as if to say that realness — genuine authenticity in your life and work, at the cost of criticism — will always be snuffed out before it can be fully appreciated. That is the price of beauty. What is up must always come down.
(Janus Films) Isaac Mizrahi in "Unzipped"
After years in cinematic obscurity — the film hasn't been readily available outside of the eBay market in decades — "Unzipped" will return to theaters later this month, with a loving 4K restoration from Janus Films, just as another fashion-world controversy is heating up. Earlier this week, the Metropolitan Museum of Art declared it would no longer proceed with its Costume Institute's upcoming exhibition honoring John Galliano, scheduled to debut next year. When the scrapped "John Galliano: Horizons" was announced in July, the exhibition was immediately met with an outpouring of criticism. Detractors accused the museum of being tone deaf, citing a 2011 video of Galliano going on a drunken antisemitic and racist rant at a Paris bar, for which Galliano was promptly ousted from his spot as creative director at Dior. Following the video surfacing, Galliano apologized, went to rehab, and, over the last few years, experienced a brand resurgence that some would call a whitewashing.

Lewis Hamilton just brought the Monza paddock to an absolute standstill by arriving for Thursday's media day behind the wheel of his freshly restored Ferrari F40. Ahead of the 2026 Italian Grand Prix, the seven-time world champion proved exactly why he is F1's ultimate style icon, blending a rare piece of automotive history with a perfectly tailored vintage aesthetic.
The viral video captures the sheer aura of the moment as Hamilton pulls the iconic wedge-shaped supercar into the paddock, sporting a custom "44" license plate on the front ****** per.
While the screaming twin-turbo V8 engine was enough to draw a massive crowd of photographers and paddock personnel, Hamilton's exit from the car was pure cinematic perfection.
Stepping out of the low-slung bucket seats, Hamilton delivered a masterclass in vintage styling. The Scuderia driver emerged wearing a crisp black suit and tie, a black Kangol beret, and vintage shades, all layered under a heavy, tan overcoat draped over his shoulders. Clutching a leather briefcase, he paused to secure the F40's lightweight door before effortlessly striding through the sea of flashing cameras.
But this wasn't just a PR stunt using a random museum piece; this F40 is a deeply personal project for the Formula 1 legend.

Andrew Garfield has renewed his call to see a gay Spider-Man.
In an Entertainment Weekly interview, the star of The Uprising spoke about his resurfaced comments from 2013 calling for a queer spin on Peter Parker, when he famously asked, "Why can't he be gay? Why can't he be into boys?"
"It was an exercise in rebellion that I felt passionate about," Garfield doubled down in his latest chat with the outlet. "I just still believe that anyone can be in that suit."
Garfield's first comments on Peter Parker's ****** uality came in the lead-up to his film The Amazing Spider-Man 2 landing in cinemas.
He reportedly ran the idea by director Marc Webb at the time, suggesting Michael B Jordan for the role of MJ and opining, "He's so charismatic and talented."
While Garfield was - and is - keen on this idea, Marvel reportedly was not. A leaked document found on WikiLeaks and reported by Gawker revealed a list of "character integrity obligations" shared by Marvel with Sony.

Amber Uhler survived a childhood drowning and now advocates for water safety through education and prevention efforts
She tells PEOPLE about a harrowing experience that prompted her to get CPR-certified and educated on water safety matters
Uhler created a "Water Watcher" card to help adults stay focused on supervising children around water
When Amber Uhler was five years old, she got away from her father during a family fishing trip and fell into a nearby lake. She remembers sinking beneath the waves and the "murky green water" as she fell farther and farther into the lake's depths.
She calls it her first "cinematic memory," speaking exclusively with PEOPLE. "The last thought I had before I went unconscious was that my dad's going to be so mad because I didn't do what he said."
Uhler was lucky that her brother saw her dropping beneath the waves from about 30 yards away, and he was able to find her in the cloudy lake water.
"I'm so highly aware that that is not the usual ending to that story," she says.
Uhler will represent the pageant on Aug. 27.

Tim Curry, the English actor best known for his star turn as Dr Frank-N-Furter in the cult classic musical film "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," has died at the age of 80, US media reported Wednesday.
Curry, who had struggled with his health for more than a decade after a debilitating stroke, died at his home in Los Angeles, TMZ said, citing unnamed sources.
The actor, who launched his career in London's West End theater district, first played the gender-bending mad scientist in "Rocky Horror" before reprising the role in the 1975 film, which is still a staple of midnight cinema showings more than 50 years later.
His other credits include the sinister clown Pennywise in a 1990 television miniseries version of Stephen King's "It" and films that included "Charlie's Angels" and "Muppet Treasure Island."
An impressive theatrical resume that began in the 1960s saw him do turns at the Royal Court Theatre and the Citizens Theatre, taking on roles written by Shakespeare, Brecht and Tom Stoppard, among others.

Beloved British actor Tim Curry has died aged 80.
A cause of death was not immediately available, though Curry had suffered from several health issues since a severe stroke in 2012 left him unable to walk.
Best known for his role as Frank-N-Furter, the "sweet transvestite from transsexual Transylvania", in the cult musical comedy The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), Curry was considered one of the most charismatic performers of his generation.
Born in Cheshire, England, on 19 April 1946, Curry began his professional acting career in a 1968 West End production of the rock musical Hair shortly after graduating from the University of Birmingham.
He followed that up with roles in stage performances of Shakespeare, Brecht and Stoppard, before the subversive camp classic Rocky Horror launched him to worldwide stardom. It is still considered a classic of musical cinema and continues to run in limited release to this day, making it the longest-running film release of all time.

On the global stage of ONE Championship, Jonathan "The General" Haggerty has made a habit of putting on a show. Lately, he has started wondering if the red carpet might follow suit.
The reigning ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion defends his gold against former divisional king Hiroki Akimoto at ONE SAMURAI 4 inside Tokyo's Ariake Arena on Saturday, October 17.
That fight will come soon enough. Beyond the gym walls and the ring, though, Haggerty has become a familiar face at a couple of film premieres in the United Kingdom.
He attended the London premiere of From the World of John Wick: Ballerina last June, and more recently walked the carpet for Giant, the biopic charting the rise of boxing icon Naseem Hamed – better known to fans of the sweet science as Prince Naseem – when it hit British cinemas this past January.
Those appearances were not simply a passing novelty for the 29-year-old, either.

When the Los Angeles Lakers landed Luka Doncic in a stunning trade with the Dallas Mavericks in February 2025, it was like they had won the Powerball jackpot. Doncic was just 25 years of age at the time, and it reset their entire timeline at a point when it looked like their opportunities to win another NBA championship with LeBron James and Anthony Davis had run out.
Doncic averaged 33.5 points, 7.7 rebounds and 8.3 **** ists a game last season, and he may be just beginning the prime of his career. He is a nightmare for opposing defenses in the NBA, and in the mind of Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey, he would also be a nightmare for one of the biggest villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Maxey was asked in a video for Complex which NBA player could defeat Thanos in a game of one-on-one, and he said it would be Doncic.
"Probably Luka. Luka just ain't scared of nothing, you know what I mean? I can see Luka on an island, one-on-oneing Thanos…I think Luka can step back pretty much anybody. I don't think Thanos would scare him at all."
Indeed, Doncic's step-back 3-pointer likely gives many an NBA player bad dreams at night and is very difficult to defend. His superpower on the basketball court seems to be his ability to accelerate, then come to an abrupt stop and go backwards in the reverse direction. It is the type of motion that seems to put his defenders in cement, so to speak, and allows him to gain enough separation to get off a jump shot.

Fifty years ago, a little film about an underdog boxer was released to theaters…
Made for one million dollars—a relative pittance for films even in '76—the flick about an unlikely pugilist from Philly went on to gross $225 million and take home the Academy Award for Best Picture against all odds. It perhaps goes without saying, but the movie is a personal favorite of mine.
Rocky is still bucking the odds—connecting and inspiring new audiences even in 2026! So, with the Minnesota Twins hosting the Philadelphia Phillies this afternoon, here are a few upcoming ways in which one can revel in 50 years of Rocky:
This November, I Play Rocky hits cinemas nationwide. Based on the trailer, it tells the story of how a young Sylvester Stallone wrote the screenplay for Rocky—modeling it on his own tenaciousness as a writer/actor—and refused to let the studio cast a different actor in the lead role. In a way, the making of Rocky is nearly as inspiring as the final product itself.
Also in November: the annual Rocky Run, in which racers begin/end at the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art steps that Rocky Balboa ascends in nearly every film.

Just like her tough girl persona in "Grease," Stockard Channing can take care of herself.
In a new essay for The Sunday Times, the Oscar-nominated actress, who played rebellious party girl Rizzo in the iconic movie musical, opened up about her isolated lifestyle following the death of her longtime partner Daniel Gillham.
Channing, 82, was previously married to wood sculptor and venture capitalist Walter Channing Jr. (1963-1967), translator and poet Paul Schmidt (1970-1976), writer David Debin (1976-1980) and businessman David Rawle (1980-1988).
Two years after her divorce from Rawle, the actress began dating Gillham, a cinematographer. The pair were in a relationship from 1990 until Gillham's death in 2014.
"Since just before COVID, I've been living in London," Channing wrote. "My partner, Daniel, died in 2014 and it was more devastating than I realized; it had a lag effect. The pattern of my life shifted, so I shifted my life from Maine."

Is there anyone out there more equipped to speak on kindness than Hollywood's wholesome Tom Hanks?
Hanks is perhaps best known for his starring role in the 1994 film "Forrest Gump," playing a sweet Alabama man who spends his adult life trying to reconnect with his childhood love, Jenny. The role earned him his second Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role. His first win came just one year earlier for playing Andrew Beckett in "Philadelphia."
During his decades-long career, Hanks has starred in other iconic films, such as "Cast Away," "Big," "Saving Private Ryan," "A League of Their Own," "Apollo 13," and the Mister Rogers biographical drama "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood."
His popularity has spanned generations through his work in the "Toy Story" film franchise. He has voiced Sheriff Woody in all five "Toy Story" movies, including the most recent, which premiered in 2026. Hanks has also voiced the character in numerous other spin-offs and shorts.
In addition to his work in cinema, Hanks has appeared in TV series, including "Bosom Buddies," "Family Ties," "Electric City," and more.
