George Clooney is sounding the alarm on artificial intelligence.
The "Ocean's Eleven" star addressed the future of AI in the entertainment industry, telling reporters during a panel at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival that it will be a "very big" part of show business moving forward.
However, the obvious drawback, according to Clooney, is that it will become "harder and harder and harder" to discern fact from fiction.
"... So, it's a very complicated moment in time and we're gonna have to find a way to discern this," Clooney said. "And everybody's working furiously at it and I haven't seen any great strides yet in success."
He later added: "I would like to avoid being in a tampon commercial 20 years after I'm dead. I would like that. I would like to avoid that."

Clooney, 65, was on hand at the Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy, on Wednesday, September 2, to accept the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement Award on the festival's opening day, when he was asked about the current state of affairs back in the United States.
The Oscar winner, who famously lives abroad with his wife, Amal, and their 9-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, admitted he's "ashamed" of the Trump-led U.S. government.
"I do believe… we're at a moment in time that's unfortunate. I think that's an understatement," Clooney, who is no stranger to criticizing 80-year-old Trump, said, per Vanity Fair. "There's a great word, a kakistocracy, which is a country run by the least qualified people. I think maybe we have a kakistocracy right now, but we'll get through it."

The Jay Kelly actress wore a Prada dress that was classic Prada in so many ways. First, the colour – Miuccia Prada sure does loves a pink red carpet dress – and then there is the label's go-to double-satin fabric.
It is usually by this third paragraph that I am complaining about something related to a Prada satin dress, but there are no creases or awkward dart details here. Then I got to the circular skirt. Most of the hem falls in a beautifully smooth line, which makes that irregular section all the more noticeable.
This was well on its way to being a perfect 10 for Prada. I was even going to give the black Prada shoes a pass because I was so enamoured with her pink-stone statement necklace.
