A year after her American Eagle ad campaign landed her in hot water, Sydney Sweeney is once again courting controversy with a new ad. This time, she's promoting the sports prediction market Novig in a commercial viewers call "disgusting" and "inappropriate."
In the minute-long spot — which Novig posted to YouTube and social media channels earlier this week — the Euphoria star poses nude and uses sports equipment to cover portions of her body as she emphasizes that Novig is a betting platform for sports and nothing else.
"Novig is just sports. So they wanted to show? Just sports," she says in the ad. "No betting on wars or deaths and no politics. Just you, your takes, and sports."

This will mark the first time in nearly 30 years that the dress has been available to buy, after previously being offered at a 1997 auction, when Princess Diana sold 79 of her dresses to benefit cancer and AIDS charities shortly before her tragic death at age 36. Then, it sold for $65,000.

Below Deck Mediterranean star Nathan Gallagher was convicted on three counts of domestic violence on Tuesday, Sept. 1, after failing to appear in court, Us Magazine reported.
Court records obtained by News24 report that Gallagher was convicted by Judge Janine Lacy at the Burwood Local Court in Sydney, Australia.
After it was evident he was not in the courtroom, Judge Lacy told the court, "I find the offenses proven," before she issued a warrant for his arrest in addition to his conviction.
Judge Lacy also shared with the court that immigration records showed Gallagher was "currently overseas," indicating that he had fled Australia in light of his hearing.
Gallagher's legal woe stems from his arrest in December 2025, when he allegedly **** aulted a 29-year-old woman, who was later identified as Gallagher's ex-girlfriend and Below Deck Med castmate Gael Cameron.

If Reynolds lost, he'd have to get a colonoscopy… and post the entire thing to YouTube. Hailey Bieber's older sister, Alaia Baldwin Aronow, has entered a pretrial diversion program that can keep her out of jail in the misdemeanor case arising from a 2024 confrontation at a Savannah, Georgia, nightclub.
Prosecutors offered the 33-year-old a place in the program, and she accepted the offer and paid its fee, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ. Court records reviewed by PEOPLE say Aronow must complete classes and may be required to pay fines as part of the arrangement.
The case involves four misdemeanor charges filed in Chatham County on Jan. 26 simple battery, simple ***** ault, battery and criminal trespass. The counts stem from Aronow's Feb. 24, 2024, arrest following an altercation with employees at Club Elan.
A police report accused Aronow of pulling a security worker's hair, striking another guard in the genitals and throwing a tampon at a bartender. Aronow told responding officers she had been forcefully removed from the club and maintained that her actions toward the security workers were in self-defense.

Britney Spears says a recent Botox treatment left her with a drooping eyelid for about four weeks, prompting her to warn followers to be careful with cosmetic injections.
The 44-year-old singer described the experience in an Instagram video, claiming too much Botox had been injected around her left eye. Spears demonstrated the effect by pressing down the skin above the eye and said it was only beginning to return to normal.
She called the result embarrassing and warned people considering Botox to be cautious about who performs the procedure. Spears captioned the video, "You can't trust anyone!!!" according to Page Six.
