New York Fashion Week is here again! From September 10 through September 15, the city's biggest designers will unveil their Spring/Summer 2027 collections, and the action-packed week will be followed, as per tradition, by shows taking place in London, Milan, and Paris.
Over the past few years, some designers have chosen to start the festivities a bit early, and the same was true this season, with houses like Ralph Lauren, Cult Gaia, and Rachel Comey all showing their collections ahead of the official CFDA calendar.
And while the schedule may be stretching, so is the map of show locations. This year, presentations will take fashion fans across the greater NYC metropolitan area, with Collina Strada hosting its show at Storm King Art Center in New Windsor, New York, while threeASFOUR will present its show at the Mana Contemporary center in Jersey City.

Dolly Parton died after being diagnosed with cancer.
In a statement to People magazine late on Tuesday, reps for the country star confirmed that her death at 80 on Tuesday followed a "brief battle with cancer".
The type of cancer was not disclosed.
"Our beloved Dolly Parton spent her life and career bringing joy, laughter, hope and integrity into everything she touched. Her unmatched generosity reached the lives of countless people whom she would never meet, yet she was always there to offer a helping hand," the statement read.
"After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her Earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Centre surrounded by loved ones."
Parton died aged 80 on 25 August. Her nephew Bryan Seaver announced the news in an Instagram video the same day.

Gary Owen says he expects to be "100% faithful" to his new wife, Brianna Johnson, after openly acknowledging that he cheated during his nearly 18-year marriage to Kenya Duke.
During a VladTV interview, the 52-year-old comedian said the biggest difference between his two marriages is intimacy. Owen claimed that he and Duke had ****** only three times during the final six years of their marriage and said the prolonged distance between them contributed to his past infidelity.
Owen stressed that he was not trying to criticize Duke, describing the lack of intimacy as mutual and saying they had effectively become roommates. He contrasted that experience with his relationship with Johnson, saying he now feels both physically and emotionally connected to his spouse and looks forward to returning home to her.
Owen and Johnson married at the Four Seasons Hotel Houston on March 7 after welcoming twin sons Royal and Rome in July 2023. Owen and Duke married in 2003 and separated in 2021 after nearly 18 years together. They share two adult children, Austin and Kennedy.
When DJ Vlad asked whether he planned to remain faithful in his second marriage, Owen said he expected "to be 100% faithful" and immediately contrasted his relationship with Johnson with the final years of his marriage to Duke.

Sean "P Diddy" Combs' release date has been pushed back once again.
According to the records of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the Last Night rapper, 56, won't be released from prison until February 20, 2028, a month after his last release date.
Just last month, his prison sentence was shortened to January 24. However, a recent altercation seems to have affected his release.
TMZ shared Combs got physical with an inmate a few weeks ago after he was reportedly dissed. Prison staff had to separate the men. The rapper was then placed in solitary confinement.
The change to his release date marks the sixth time it has been moved since a New York jury convicted him of transporting prostitutes across state lines for drug-fueled ******* parties. Just two months after the verdict was announced in July 2025, Combs' legal team began pleading for a short sentence.

On Monday, Zendaya attended the Spider-Man: Brand New Day fan event at Aztlan Feria de Chapultepec in Mexico City, continuing the darker aesthetic that has defined this press tour.
For the occasion, she wore a black Ashi Studio Spring 2026 Couture gown. The standout feature was the web-like knit embroidery that swept diagonally across the bodice and one sleeve, finished with glass tassels and long beaded fringe cascading from the cuffs. It was an especially apt choice considering Spider-Man's webs are created from his hands, making the sleeve detailing a clever extension of the film's central theme rather than a decorative flourish.
The contrast between the smooth silk crepe and the textured embroidered panel also caught my attention. It almost feels as though the dress is in the middle of a transformation, which neatly echoes Peter Parker's own transformation into Spider-Man.
Is it too dramatic for a fan event? I'm sure some will say yes. But this press tour has consistently prioritised storytelling, and this look stayed firmly on message.
I was also pleased to see a different hairstyle after a run of similar looks for the first run of this press tour. The updo freshened everything up, although I've never been a huge fan of baby bangs.
