Now that she's taking up hosting duties, Hargitay is sure to be cheered on by her husband, Peter Hermann, and their three kids. The 62-year-old actress has spoken often about being a parent. Now 20 years old, August has been spotted visiting the Law & Order: SVU set in New York City as recently as Season 27. He's been photographed with his mother at various outings, from red carpets to New York Knicks games to the US Open.

An innocuous curb-based white tent — built for semi-privacy and slight cool — was suddenly extended right up to the door of the VIP entrance of Madison Square Garden, ensuring the tent check-in would lead to total seclusion for any incoming guests. Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, Mariska Hargitay and even Swift herself did not pass through such opaque surroundings to see the 2026 Finals-playing New York Knicks. Then again, Jalen Brunson never headlined The Eras Tour.

The privacy tarp went up in a matter of seconds and a few commuters who had been walking down the sidewalk hoping to reach the Eighth Avenue of Penn Station saw it thrust in front of them and, flummoxed like Frodo and Samwise at The Path of the Withywindle, disorientedly found themselves turning back.
Along the street, a few Swifties waited and a few local TV crews scrambled to find them, to hear stories of how they grew up listening to Taylor and followed her personal life in parallel to their own and were so happy she found love.

And just as they did throughout the playoffs, many of the team's celebrity fans turned out to celebrate their 2026 NBA **** le — and the end of a 53-year championship drought.
Among the luminaries were Spike Lee, Ben Stiller, Christine Taylor, Timothée Chalamet, Tracy Morgan, Chris Rock, Mariska Hargitay, Edie Falco, Jon Stewart, Martha Stewart, Steve Schirripa, Matthew Modine, Teyana Taylor and Ja Rule.
Some took part in the parade itself as passengers on the dozens of floats that made their way along the Canyon of Heroes to City Hall.
Stiller, who is directing an HBO documentary series about the Knicks, was on one.
Chalamet — who like Stiller attended all five games of the NBA Finals, including three in San Antonio — led parade-goers in a "Let's Go Knicks" chant atop one of the double-decker buses.

It's a dispiriting legal battle in which two women who likely suffered profound ****** ual trauma are publicly battling, one with a focus on preserving both her reputation and her business interests, and the other with almost nothing on her side, including, thanks to Griffin's countersuit, anonymity.
"The Tell" is about a woman who is by every possible measure successful, trying to understand what unseen force is holding her apart from an otherwise beautiful life — impacting her marriage, alienating her children and causing panic attacks. On the encouragement of her equally successful, equally blessed husband, Griffin agrees to try therapeutic MDMA. A former star student and long-distance runner from a prominent family in Amarillo, Texas, Griffin goes into her first session with a competitor's single-minded determination to, as she writes, "get to the finish line."
It takes almost no time for the drug to unearth memories of habitual ****** ual abuse by a teacher at her middle school that began when Griffin was 12 and continued until she was 16. Her confidence in the memories she recovers ("My body knew what had happened to me. The way I'd shake when I'd tell my story; the way my eyes welled up with tears at the mention of Texas") sets her on a relentless trajectory of seeking legal and emotional redress.

I listened to "The Tell" on audiobook knowing very little about it. I didn't know that Griffin is married to a billionaire former hedge-fund founder, or that she's on the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Board of Trustees, or that her own venture-capital firm, G9, has made her a billionaire in her own right. I didn't see the seals of approval from America's trio of book-club heavies — Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, and Jenna Bush Hager — on its cover. I didn't know that the book wasn't written so much as it was built by a prominent ghostwriter, a cadre of well-placed friends and colleagues, and a publishing industry that's made billions of dollars from trauma memoirs by women.
