Keep checking back to that link in the previous sentence for our charts as the seasons continue to churn through history and MU's various teams continue to create new memories and accomplishments.
Here, we take a look at the single season goals record for men's lacrosse.
Bobby O'Grady did not wrap up 2022 with the single season record for points, but he did knock down the program record for goals in a season. Before 2022, only Ryan McNamara had ever scored 40 goals in a season, and he did that exactly on the nose in 2016, the year MU won their first ever Big East championship. At the time, McNamara had become just the second Marquette player to ever record 35 goals in a season and the first to ever clear 37. O'Grady went flying right past the workhorse of Marquette's first two NCAA tournament teams, and landed on 45 goals in MU's 15 games in 2022. That makes him the first Marquette player to ever average a hat trick for an entire season. Up til now, Tyler Melnyk's 2.57 per game in 2014 was the gold standard for the Blue and Gold.
One year later, O'Grady took a run at breaking his own record. He ultimately fell short, finishing the campaign with 43 goals, but he accomplished something else instead. O'Grady is — even now, three years later — the only player in Marquette history to score 40 or more goals in two separate seasons. In 2025, O'Grady became the first Marquette player with 30 or more goals in three different seasons, and he's the only player in MU history to tally at least 25 goals in each year of his four year career.
O'Grady hasn't been alone in redecorating this top 15 list in the past few seasons. Nolan Rappis now owns two of the seven best scoring seasons in MU history after back to back 30+ goal seasons. Carsen Brandt got into the action in the spring of 2026, putting up 27 goals and passing all but the 10 best seasons in MU history, all of which featured at least 30 goals.

During the quarter ended 30 June 2026, revenue at Under Armour fell 3% year-on-year to $1.1bn, with sales in North America down 9% and Asia-Pacific declining 7%.
International revenue proved more resilient, increasing 5% to $490m, driven by a 12% rise in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region and an 8% gain in Latin America.
Wholesale revenue declined 2%, while direct-to-consumer sales dropped 6%, including a 12% decrease in eCommerce.
Under Armour president and CEO Kevin Plank said: "As we navigate a challenging consumer demand environment, we continue to make progress in building a more focused Under Armour, despite updating our full-year revenue outlook."
The company's gross margin, however, improved 590 basis points to 54.1%, primarily due to tariff refunds under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), which offset the negative impact of foreign exchange, regional mix, and pricing pressures.

After announcing plans to close hundreds of underperforming locations in the first half of 2026, a fast-food burger chain has revealed major changes across its business, including the possibility of additional restaurant closures, as it works to reverse ongoing declines in traffic and sales.
The company has also acknowledged that its focus on cost and efficiency has, in some cases, weakened the brand's differentiation, a challenge it now faces as competition in the restaurant industry grows.
The chain is also facing challenges with customer satisfaction. Wendy's scored 77 out of 100 in the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), placing it below several major fast-food rivals in the 2026 rankings.
Wendy's (WEN) is taking action after reporting its sixth consecutive quarter of declines, launching a major turnaround plan and updating its capital allocation strategy to provide the flexibility needed to support that effort.
"Today we are clearly not performing at our potential," said Wendy's President and CEO Bob Wright in the company's second-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings release. "I returned to Wendy's because I believe we can fix our issues and I am excited to work with our team and our franchisees to drive a strong turnaround."

As we prepare for the 2026 season, everyone is updating their head coach rankings, with Sanders ranked No. 54 nationally in one ranking and the seventh-best coach in the Big 12. What's going on, everybody? My name is Rakim Chaney. I am a sophomore on the Valpo men's basketball team, and I will be updating you guys this week each day throughout our trip here in Nassau, The Bahamas.
Saturday, we left Valpo early around 7 a.m. and got to the O'Hare Airport to check in and begin boarding for our flight. We arrived in Nassau around 3 p.m. and headed to our hotel at the Baha Mar Resort.
We took our first few minutes to check in our bags and into our rooms before meeting each other in our team room to go over the general Baha Mar rules and our team rules for the trip. After the meeting, a few other guys and I checked out the Pizza Pub Restaurant in the resort, and it was pretty good.
We then got a chance to check out some parts of the resort, and I went to go spend some time with my family who drove down the street from their hotel.

Bo Nix is looking sharp as ever too. Day 2 figures to bring some more excitement as the weekend fan attendance tends to be a bit more electric.

The first real controversy of the 2026-27 U of L athletics season hit about a month before a Cardinal team played a contest that counted.
On Tuesday, the Louisville men's basketball team played an exhibition game in the Bahamas that fans had no ability to watch or listen to. I wasn't happy about it, you weren't happy about it, ******* ody was happy about it.
The immediate result of that annoyance, as it typically is, was people trying to figure out who they should blame. There were fingers pointed at Josh Heird, the ACC Network, ESPN, U of L's marketing department, and bizarrely at one point, Tim Henderson. Ok, the last one might have been made up, but every other entity on that list received their fair share of not so friendly fire over the last two weeks or so.
Following his team's 101-52 trouncing of Bahamas Raw Talent on Tuesday, Pat Kelsey wasted no time in accepting full blame for fans having to spend their afternoons staring at an updating box score.
"I'm well aware that people are upset that we didn't stream it," Kelsey said. "All I can do on the back end after we made that decision is apologize. Probably, looking back and seeing how passionate everyone is about it, probably should have done it. But everything this summer was just about doors closed, blinders on, let's grow as a team. Let's get better. It's been about us and business."

MUMBAI, July 24 (Reuters) - Indian banks and insurers will launch a common customer identification system in August, with **** et managers joining later, two regulatory sources and industry executives said, allowing customers ‌to access financial products without separately submitting identification documents.
The new system, known as Central Know-Your-Customer 2.0 (CKYC), will only require the customer's ‌consent for these institutions to fetch data stored at a central registry when opening an account or updating their details.
India has spent more than a decade trying to create a system similar to those in countries such as Singapore and several European nations, where digital identity frameworks allow customers to access multiple financial products through a common verification process.
It will also help combat fraud through easier monitoring, the regulatory sources said.

That's why it was so strange when Coca-Cola introduced a new font that eerily resembled an iconic one straight out of the cigarette world.
"Coke and Marlboro had a baby—and it's a font!," one X user wrote after seeing the company's updated typography. Others echoed the comparison, saying Coca-Cola's refreshed typography looked strikingly similar to Marlboros, in a case of reality imitating memes. Still others wondered whether the company had unintentionally leaned into the internet's "fridge cigarette" joke.
"Is Coca Cola rebranding like that because we all started calling 'em fridge cigarettes???," another fan questioned.
Coca-Cola said the refresh was designed to create "one iconic look" across more than 200 markets by updating its packaging and typography.
"This refresh is about being clearer and more consistent in how we show up, wherever people experience our brand," Arnab Roy, president of Coca-Cola Global Category, said in a statement on Monday. "By building on the things people already know and love, we're creating a stronger foundation for growth while staying unmistakably Coca-Cola."

When the Buffalo Bills open up training camp at the end of July, there are going to be a handful of battles at position groups, but the most important might be at wide receiver.
The Bills did a solid job updating their receiving core this offseason with the big move of trading for Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore, but there are still a handful of other roster spots that need upgrades at the position.
One of the key areas to watch during training camp is who will be named the two outside starting receivers. Fansided's NFL insider, Jason La Canfora, identified the Bills' receiving competition as one of the eight biggest training camp battles.
"In most of these instances we are drilling down at a particular spot on the depth chart, and we certainly figure DJ Moore is the top guy here given what it took to get him, but this is kind of jumped. Keon Coleman has been a bit of a scapegoat for the Bills coming up short as an organization and Joshua Palmer is a nice depth signing with upside and Khalil Shakir has probably been overexposed and asked to do too much; maybe he settles into a slot-exclusive role now," La Canfora wrote on Thursday. "This group needs to step up its overall production, and they need Moore to be a legit go-to guy. I believe he will."
Moore is going to win one of the jobs if everything goes according to plan, which means not suffering any injury. However, the No. 2 outside receiver spot is going to be a test.

Microsoft has been one of the worst-performing large-cap tech stocks of 2026, down about 20% year to date, even as the company keeps expanding its AI business and growing Azure at a pace most cloud companies would envy.
A lot of investors have been sitting on their hands, waiting either for a reason to get back in or a reason to stay patient.
Bank of America just gave them something to chew on.
The bank reiterated its Buy rating and $500 price objective ahead of Microsoft's fiscal fourth-quarter earnings on July 29, updating its estimates to reflect stronger Azure growth expectations. But the note isn't just a target confirmation. It lays out what the bank thinks investors need to see from the print, and what happens to the stock if they don't get it.
Azure is the number that matters most on July 29. Microsoft guided for Azure revenue growth of 39% to 40% year over year in constant currency during the quarter, and Bank of America says hitting or beating that range is critical.

Those three players are expected to go 1 through 3 in the draft, with the Rays and Twins taking whomever the White Sox don’t.
In my preview on Friday, I gave some possibilities for the Cubs with the 23rd pick in the first round. The Cubs could get a real great player with that pick. Some players who went 23rd in the draft this century include Christian Yelich, Jacoby Ellsbury, Phil Hughes, Gavin Williams and Jeff Francoeur. However, more often than not, the player taken with the 23rd pick either fails to reach the majors or only has a short career. So the draft is indeed a ***** shoot—one with huge rewards but also one in which the odds are against every team. So keep that in mind as the Cubs select.

Viavi Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ:VIAV) is one of the top stocks to buy according to Whale Rock Capital Management. On July 1, Susquehanna ***** yst Mehdi Hosseini raised his price target on Viavi Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ:VIAV) to $66 from $60, while maintaining his Positive rating on the stock.
The reason for the call, according to Hosseini, was that Susquehanna was updating its estimates to reflect a higher Field Instrument revenue contribution. Viavi's Field Instrument business is a product line within its Network and Service Enablement segment that supplies handheld and portable testing tools used by technicians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber and network equipment in the field. Hosseini's team lifted its revenue estimates for this business because they now expect a stronger ramp in data center interconnect, or DCI, deployments at two of Viavi's major optical networking customers; that is Nokia and Ciena.
DCI refers to the high-capacity optical links that connect data centers to each other. The ***** ysts noted that demand for this technology has been surging as hyperscale cloud providers race to expand AI computing capacity. They added that Nokia and Ciena are both racing to supply next-generation coherent optical equipment for these DCI links, and that Nokia recently unveiled a new suite of pluggable optical transceivers specifically built for DCI.
As these vendors ramp production and deployment of their new DCI and scale-across optical gear, they generate more business for Viavi, the ***** ysts noted.

Dalton Knecht was hoping the Los Angeles Lakers would put him out of his misery before the Feb. 5 deadline and trade him to a franchise that would give him the freedom to make mistakes and blossom into a solid player.
Per Offside’s Anthony Irwin, the Tennessee product approached the Lakers’ front office on Jan 28 and requested to be traded after quickly falling out of JJ Redick’s rotation. Unfortunately for Knecht, there wasn’t an organization willing to welcome the former first-round pick with open arms, which explains why he’s still on the roster.
With the Lakers aggressively pursuing an offseason sign-and-trade for Jonathan **** inga, though, Knecht received renewed optimism that Los Angeles would finally set him free. That said, a recent report regarding the Lakers’ potential sign-and-trade package for **** inga is brutal news for the second-year guard.
"I want to give a big shout-out to a friend of the show, Khobi Price, who had a huge report today updating the **** inga situation," Lakers insider Jovan Buha stated Wednesday. "He reported that Atlanta is open to trading Jonathan **** inga to the Lakers in a sign-and-trade with the framework being Jarred Vanderbilt and the Lakers' 2032 first-round swap."

These are indeed crazy times. Breaking news from MSU is that Guskiewicz has chosen to stay at Michigan State after previously leaving for Clemson. Guskiewicz sited his departure was due to certain members of the Board of Trustees. Support for Guskiewicz was wide spread with signs all over campus and even a petition on Change.org for removal of said board members that has reached over 19,000 signatures. Guskiewicz has said his decision to stay was for personal reasons and Clemson has been notified according to 247Sports.
To say this is anything but huge would be an understatement. The constant search for a president that this university has been doing for the last few years. Stability from, what it seems to be, a very liked individual. Izzo was even on record as stating he may have been one of the best this university has ever had. It is being reported that his extension will be worth about 1 million which is under the 2 million the board offered him to stay and not leave for Clemson.
The other interesting element is that is has been reported the university does not wish to retain Batt. It was reported by 247Sports that Batt was hanging around to save Kentucky some money. If Guskiewicz left then MSU would only get 2.5 million from Kentucky but with Gus staying, MSU is set to get 5 million. Guskiewicz will now be set with the task of finding another athletic director which there are many options for. Guskiewicz is also known as a great fundraiser and as Izzo said, people trust him. Trust. That is a big need at this university at leadership positions. Bring in money to compete by updating facilities, and education and improve MSU’s athletic standing and you’ll be remembered for life. Guskiewicz is capable of this and MSU will be better in the long run. I sure would have liked to be “in the room where it happens” when this came down and was agreed upon. A definite, Victory For MSU.

Good morning everyone! As hinted last week, I am doing something different with the Tracks of the Day this week. I’m still in the process of updating the TOTD playlist but it’s brought back some memories for me when I began doing this hoddle more than four years ago.
A big hope of mine when starting the TOTD feature was to end the hoddle on something fun to listen to, to share some music I like or I think is interesting. Heck, even if I didn’t like it, I thought to myself, “Maybe it’s worth putting out there anyways”.

Zayn’s ***** le win at Night of Champions in Riyadh caught many within the company off guard, with a source telling WrestleVotes the win was handled on a strict “need to know” basis across multiple departments. One employee described the situation as “worrisome,” noting that a lack of advance notice for a major creative development of that magnitude could make their jobs considerably more difficult if that level of secrecy becomes standard practice going forward.
The marketing detail is the most telling part of the report. When a championship changes hands with genuine long-term implications, the promotional machinery around it tends to move quickly. Updating SummerSlam key art is not a minor task — it shapes advertising, merchandise, and the visual identity of WWE‘s biggest summer event. The fact that those instructions have not been issued as of July 1, days after Zayn won the ***** le, suggests the company may not be planning to build SummerSlam around him as champion.
