Hosted by Jaleel White—the actor anyone with a birth year starting with "19" will know as Steve Urkel from "Family Matters"—the six-episode adventure will follow two celebrity teams as they search the country for homes stuck in a time before artificial intelligence.
Once the nostalgic abodes have been tracked down, the celebs will compete against one another to update the **** es without completely eliminating the '90s charm.
Fans of throwback sitcoms will have a hard time choosing a team to root for, as both sides are stacked with actors who defined the era.

Carter Grandbois was 16 years old, working for a junk-removal operator in Johnstown, Colorado, when he noticed the cash. His boss kept a thick stack of it in the center console of his truck. Grandbois went home and talked to his dad, and within days, they bought a trailer. The first job paid $500 for 30 minutes of work. "That was kind of an eye-opener," Grandbois, now 18 and working for himself full-time, told Fortune.
Carter's Junk Away bills as much as $15,000 a month in peak season, Grandbois said. His W-2 employees are his high school friends, but he admits that he wasn't able to scale up and reach profitability until he created a pricing calculator, started tracking data, and started using systems to get consistent lead flows.
"I'm really into vibe-coding and creating software," he explained. "After that, we were able to be profitable on every single job," he said proudly. "When our team is out… they're bidding jobs spot-on every single time. So every time they complete a job, I mean, we're making anywhere from $50 to $200 without being on the truck." He said he earns about $125 to $1,000 per junk-removal job and he is increasingly overseeing the business from home as he scales, which is what he means by not "being on the truck."
Grandbois wants to share the wealth, too, via social media. (He's on TikTok at american.junkremoval.) "I was like, 'Hey, like everyone else could totally use this for their business.'" Now he has two calculators—a universal one for everyone and another, "private junk-removal calculator," which he described as detailed for a "more experienced junk-removal business." When asked about potentially creating his own rivals, he shrugged. "That is one of the things with giving away stuff for free. You never know who's watching the content. But at the end of the day, I know I'm doing something good for anyone else who's trying to start."
After all, he explained, it was his inspiration. Where another generation might have read about, say, Warren Buffett in Fortune magazine, he reflected, "it's probably just like Instagram reels where you're scrolling and you're like, 'That guy has a Lamborghini. That dude has a McLaren. Why can't I have one of those?'"

The '90s were a golden age for the modeling world and it gave us some of the biggest household names today. We still think about some of them often (like Naomi Campbell's most iconic looks from the '90s). Further, it's also hard not to wonder what many supermodels of the era look like now. You probably aren't surprised to learn that Linda Evangelista is still an absolute stunner today. Other trailblazers of the time, like Yasmeen Ghauri, are less talked about now than the likes of Campbell and Evangelista, but we still wonder about her all the same. Ghauri is of Pakistani and German descent and, during her rise to fame in the early '90s, she helped to usher in a more diverse era for the modeling industry. In fact, she was the first South Asian woman to become a Victoria's Secret Angel — a huge accomplishment at the time. More recently, Ghauri is still a knockout. But at least for now, he's the Texans' starting quarterback. Stroud has another chance to prove his 2023 rookie season wasn't a fluke, and that the struggles of the past couple of years aren't actually who he is. But what if he struggles again?
ESPN's Dan Graziano shared a "long-shot" prediction that explores such a scenario and the fallout it would bring. Stroud flopping in 2026 could lead to a mid-season benching and likely the end of his Texans career as well.
"Long-shot outcome: Stroud totally flops in Year 4," Graziano writes. "Either because of injury or ineffectiveness, he finishes the season on the bench as Davis Mills steps in to replace him."

NEW YORK — Jose Iglesias found a way to ignite the Mets clubhouse and its fan base as soon as he entered the fray during the 2024 season.
The veteran infielder infused a badly-needed energy and leadership with the Mets fading in the standings. By the end of the campaign, with his Latin pop hit "OMG" serving as the team's soundtrack, the Mets fired their way into the National League Championship Series.
Now, two years later, Iglesias is bringing that passion and energy into a far different setting than the baseball diamond, just down the road on Broadway.
The 36-year-old will become the first Major League Baseball player to perform on Broadway when he takes the role of Narrator in "Buena Visa Social Club" for a six-week stint starting on Aug. 27 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.
"It's very smooth. The energy, it's an excellent musical. I'm surrounded by great teammates over there," Iglesias said before throwing out the first pitch ahead of the Mets' game on Tuesday at Citi Field. "They support me on a daily basis. They know this is totally new for me.

A lot happened in Preseason Week 1. All of my detailed notes are in here, but today's column will look at the details of where they land in my updated 2026 fantasy football rankings. These are half PPR rankings for redraft, with some notes on best ball and full PPR scoring when needed.
The timeline is important. A 2022 torn ACL/MCL/PCL can't go overlooked. That's a near full dislocation of his knee, and to me, it impacted his willingness to add yards after the catch in the following seasons (for reasons I can totally understand). Unfortunately, we've seen countless players come back from serious injuries only to pick up lingering soft-tissue injuries. Tyson had two different hamstring injuries at Arizona State and was barely ready for drills by the time the 2026 NFL Draft rolled around. They took things slowly this offseason, and then a "new" hamstring injury occurred when he slipped in practice. Even if this hamstring is different from the other ones, it's still worrisome that there are soft-tissue injuries.
Does he need to rework his entire lower half in ways that Christian Watson, MarShawn Lloyd and others have had to? I'm expecting that type of report to surface next offseason.

In the meantime, the Saints are smart for taking their time with Tyson. I fully believe this will take two months if not more. October would be on the early side. November or another setback can't be ruled out, especially with the Saints' October schedule being on Metlife turf (Week 6), in France (Week 7) and on bye (Week 8). If the Saints wanted to be extra safe, a Week 9 return at home against the Browns could be a behind-the-scenes target. I'm going to **** ume he's out for about seven games.

Everyone ***** ociated with the New York Jets collectively held their breath at Monday's training camp practice. Superstar running back Breece Hall suffered a non-contact injury. It was eventually revealed that Hall suffered a minor groin injury, and will be sidelined for weeks, per multiple reports.
The Jets dodged a major concern. A non-contact injury could have carried a multi-month timeline, or even worse. With the crisis totally averted, the Jets must place Hall in bubble wrap for the remainder of training camp and the preseason.
There are less than two weeks remaining in training camp. The Jets have two preseason games left, with the finale scheduled for August 28th against the New York Giants. It goes without saying that Hall shouldn't see any preseason action.
Once the Jets reduce their roster to 53 by August 30th's deadline, focus will immediately shift to preparing for Week 1 versus the Tennessee ***** ans on September 13th. Early September is when the Jets should target for Hall's full-go return. Hopefully he's healthy enough to participate when practice shifts to a regular-season schedule.
The Jets escaped disaster at Monday's practice when Hall went down untouched. Now, Aaron Glenn and staff must exercise maximum caution. Hall's focus needs to solely be centered around getting healthy for the ***** ans game.

Week 2 of the preseason marks a pivotal point in the backup quarterback battle for the Los Angeles Rams, as Stetson Bennett and Ty Simpson look to put on a show against the New Orleans Saints in a joint practice and in Saturday's game.
Bennett started the preseason opener in Kansas City, but Simpson dominated headlines with an efficient, effective performance that saw the Rams pull away in the fourth quarter. When asked on Monday, head coach Sean McVay stated that the joint practice would determine what this week's quarterback rotation will look like when the Rams make their 2026 SoFi Stadium debut.
"I think that will be predicated on how the practice against New Orleans goes, how tomorrow goes," said McVay. "I think what's been helpful for us is really just taking it a day at a time. I know I get myself out of whack when I get too far ahead of myself. We ask our players to stack days, be totally and completely present. I have not made that decision yet and genuinely, that is the truth.
"A large part of that decision will be predicated on what happens on Tuesday and then a lot of it, especially with what happens on Thursday. I'm hopeful that we're able to get as many reps as we did against Dallas. New Orleans has a practice against the Cowboys on Tuesday. Hopefully they come out of that thing healthy and we're able to get what Kellen [Moore] and I have talked about as the workload for our ones and twos. That'll be great situational work and great ability to be able to move the ball all over the field."
In Kansas City, Bennett played the first quarter, with Simpson finishing out the game. Starting quarterback Matthew Stafford is expected to participate in the joint practice, as well, which will push Bennett to the second team and Simpson potentially out of the rotation again.

Sometimes, a totally normal moment between a couple is enough to warm your heart and make you believe in queer joy again.
Prime Minister Rob Jetten went viral earlier this year when the liberal Dutch leader became the first out gay politician to hold the position in the Netherlands —and he did it with his fiancé, Argentinian field hockey player Nicolás Keenan, by his side. Now, the two have the LGBTQ+ community cheering for them once again after Keenan walked over to get a kiss from Jetten at the FIH Hockey World Cup.
The sweet moment, caught on camera and posted on Instagram by the Royal Dutch Hockey **** ociation, shows Keenan walking over to the stands where Jetten is cheering him on while wearing his fiancé's jersey. The two men reach over the divider to hug, and Jetten plants a kiss on Keenan's cheek.

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed taunted President Donald Trump on Saturday, predicting Trump's attacks on El-Sayed and his wife would elevate him nationally as he battles Republican Mike Rogers for a critical open Senate seat.

ARDMORE, Pa. — Merion, the club and the course, is about as English as anything American thing could be, and Sunday here — for the finale of the 126th U.S. Amateur — was dank and wet and of-so-English. An Englishman was playing a kid from California. The Englishman won. Not a shocker.
There was something truly great about this Am, the whole seven days of it: six days of hot, dry golf leading to this rainy, cool Sunday; 312 players whittled down to two; and a final featuring two totally dissimilar golfers. Jack Whaley, deeply tanned and powerfully built, grew up in Doncaster, England, plays at Florida State and has a ready-for-the-Tour swing and a grind-it-out demeanor. Jay Leng Jr. grew up in San Diego, plays at Stanford, could not weigh 130 pounds, has a stance wider than Moe Norman's and a backswing shorter than Jon Rahm's, and follows no known playbook but his own. It was a delight watching these two go at it in this 36-hole final. Whaley won the match with a birdie on 15, the final nail in his 4-and-3 victory.
Arnold Palmer, who won this event in 1954, offered this as a swing tip for life: "Swing your swing." A cousin to you do you. Leng, winner of the Western Amateur earlier this summer who will represent the U.S. at next month's Walker Cup at Lahinch in Ireland, did not know Palmer's three-word phrase but understood its message. "I've always done things my own way and it seems to be working so I don't see any reason to change now," Leng said Sunday night, about to board a van for a ride back to the clubhouse as Whaley's new trophy was being brought to the 15th green.

"Not a shock to see a player from England play so well in these conditions — you would think he has a lot of experience at it," North said Sunday night. "Playing in the rain really requires you to stay as dry as you possibly can while keeping your mind totally focused on the shots you have to make, never giving in to the rain for a second." Andy North was a master of keeping two towels in the spokes of his umbrella while playing in the rain, one for the grips, the other for his hands.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump ordered the Pentagon on Sunday to scale back planned joint military exercises with South Korea after the Republican president said it declined to help denuclearize Iran.
Trump said in a social media post that the exercises slated to begin this week are costly and "send a signal that is totally inappropriate and hostile" to North Korea, which he said "has been unthreatening and respectful" while Trump has been in the White House.
"Therefore, and based on the fact that it is too late to cancel, I have instructed Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to substantially reduce the Joint Military Exercises!" Trump wrote. Trump added that he recently asked South Korea's president to join the U.S. in its efforts to denuclearize Iran, "and they said, 'No thanks!'"
The 11 days of exercises involving 18,000 South Korean soldiers were designed to beef up readiness against North Korean threats.
North Korea on Friday threatened unspecified stern steps against the U.S. and South Korea, describing their military drills as a "a rehearsal for an aggressive war" that are triggering greater instability in the region.

Ryan Silverfield is taking over a daunting rebuilding job as he begins his first season at the helm of the Arkansas Razorbacks. But the roster he inherited isn't totally bereft of talent.
There may be no sturdier building block on the team than Edge rusher Quincy Rhodes. Rhodes broke out as a junior in 2025, finishing with 44 total tackles and a team-leading 15.5 tackles for loss in addition to 8 sacks, 6 quarterback hurries, and a forced fumble. That TFL total was the most by an Arkansas defender since Trey Flowers had 15.5 in 2015, and he also became the first 'Hawg to register double digit tackles for loss in a season since Landon Jackson in 2023. Nationally, he ranked 13th in tackles for loss per game and 23rd in sacks per game during the regular season.
Heading into 2026 Rhodes earned second team All-SEC honors from both league coaches and the **** ociated Press and was also tabbed with second team recognition from Athlon Sports and third team from Phil Steele. He stands out as one of the few proven players remaining in Fayetteville after a mass roster exodus following the coaching change, meaning the entire Arkansas defensive identity in 2026 will likely run through him.
For Georgia, Rhodes presents a real problem up front. At 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds, he has the length to disrupt passing lanes and the first step to win one-on-one against tackles who aren't ready for his quickness. A player who forces 15+ tackles for loss in a season has a demonstrated ability to blow up run designs before they develop, and Georgia's offensive line will need a plan specifically built around neutralizing him rather than treating him as a standard edge rusher. Early season road trips can be unpredictable, and Rhodes gives Arkansas a legitimate chance to affect the September 19th matchup with the Bulldogs from the opening series.

Ian Garry had a pretty good showing, but ultimately lost a decision at UFC 330 against Islam Makhachev, who has been breaking records across two divisions. Garry had his moments on the feet, and showed excellent takedown defense and reversals on the ground, but Dana White felt it was the challenger's mindset that could've cost him the fight.
"This is my honest opinion. I felt like tonight was set up for the upset," White said at the UFC 330 post-fight press conference. The Los Angeles Lakers are going to be totally different this year. The obvious difference is that LeBron James is gone. But, it's not just about James. When a player of his status leaves a franchise after nearly a decade, it shifts the whole dynamic of that team and its remaining stars.
Now, Luka Doncic is really the face of this franchise. He's a superstar and can handle the pressure, but one NBA **** yst thinks he's going to really have to step it up in the new season.
He's not wrong, either. The Lakers are in a bit of a tumult after losing James, and this next season is pivotal.
In a piece for Bleacher Report out on Saturday, Grant Hughes names one player with the most to prove on every NBA team going into the new season.

ARDMORE, Pa. – It was a record-breaking day as Merion Golf Club, welcomed the most ticketed fans for a U.S. Amateur in the championship's history. With attendance numbers pushing 3,000, the line to get into the pro shop remained wrapped around the clubhouse most the day, while the scene for the first tee as the four quarterfinal matches started was electric.
"I was totally shell-shocked by the amount of people that were out there, to be brutally honest," Georgia grad Carter Loflin said. "I've played in front of people before, but not like that. Honestly, it took me a minute to get used the gallery and everything. I looked at Brandon [Knight, his opponent] on the first tee, and I was like, 'Dude, I've never seen people four-deep like this before.'"
Added Jack Whaley: "It's one of the best experiences I've had playing golf."
And Logan Reilly: "Unbelievable atmosphere."
Unfortunately, the air was let out of the balloon early, and the thousands of fans clamoring to see some epic battles went home disappointed in that regard. None of the matches reached the 17th hole while three of them ended before the 15th hole.

The Cleveland Browns quarterback situation is one of the more fascinating ones to follow this preseason. With Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders in a heated QB competition, there is sure to be plenty of discourse over the winner and loser.
But behind those two polarizing QBs are a pair of very fascinating players for different reasons. Dillon Gabriel was a 2025 third-round pick, while Taylen Green is a project taken on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft. One of these QBs might not make the team.
Bleacher Report's Moe Moton proposed one solution, as he's urging the Browns to release Gabriel this summer, not trade him, in a move that would be totally horrendous.
"Dillon Gabriel is clearly the No. 3 quarterback," Moton writes. "... Teams may be willing to trade a late-round draft pick for him, but if not, he should be a prime cut candidate."

CHICAGO — Ben Kueter will not be on the Iowa football roster for the 2026 season, head coach Kirk Ferentz said on Aug. 14.
Ferentz indicated that Kueter is totally focused on wrestling now.
Kueter was a multi-sport star at Iowa City High and a four-star linebacker in the 2023 high school recruiting class. During his first year in college, Kueter was part of both the Hawkeyes football and wrestling programs, though he did not actually make his debut on the gridiron.
In 2024, Kueter announced he was temporarily stepping away from football to focus on wrestling. But since then, he has not officially rejoined the Iowa football roster, as he intended to do. During that time away from football, Kueter has twice been an All-American for Iowa wrestling at heavyweight and undergone multiple offseason surgeries.

I can still picture my prized holographic BOOK IT! pin, the one with pages that turned as you tilted it. It filled up with stars I earned through a full Baby-Sitters Club obsession and anything even remotely ghost-related, then kicked around various jewelry boxes and bins of ephemera for years. As a kid I proudly identified as a voracious reader, and the pin was the proof. The Pizza Hut pizza was simply a bonus.
Recently, I sat down to talk with Chrissy Teigen about her partnership with Pizza Hut's BOOK IT! program, and it quickly turned into a delightful nostalgia-fest. What doubly delighted me was how authentically excited she is about reading and about passing that love down to her kids. "The little exclamation point is like what excited me the most," she told me about her own childhood pin, and we were off.
There's real substance behind the nostalgia. Pizza Hut created BOOK IT! in 1984 with a simple mission, to turn "have to read" into "want to read" for kids everywhere, and it worked. It's now the longest-running corporate-supported reading program in the country, and by Pizza Hut's own count it has encouraged more than 70 million children to read since it launched, handing out an estimated 1.5 billion pizzas along the way.
Teigen, who turned 40 this year, has spent the past few years reconnecting with her childhood friends from Snohomish, Washington. The things that got them excited as kids are the same things they text each other about now, which is exactly why a reading program wrapped in 90s vibes and pizza was an immediate yes. As a senior millennial, I understood the impulse completely.
Her four kids read in four completely different ways, which any parent of more than one totally understands. Miles (8), her biggest reader, goes nonstop, plowing through Dog Man and the I Survived series in the car and on the way to camp because he loves facts more than almost anything. Luna (10), her oldest, is aging into book reports, summer reading lists, and the very specific social world of tween reading, where friends race through the same book so they can all watch the adaptation together. Then there are the littles. Esti (3) is deep in Madeline and The Very Impatient Caterpillar, which Teigen reads aloud in full character voices while the caterpillar keeps asking "am I a **** erfly yet?" and everyone shouts back, no. Wren (3), whom she affectionately calls "a much simpler man," wants Little Blue Truck and a "beep beep" on every page.

Here we go again.
A tradition dating back to the 2022 season, debuting on the podcast formerly known as the One Foot Down podcast now, returns for a fifth season.
Synopsis: Obviously, you root for Notre Dame, which means you root for every player on the roster. But there are certain guys on the team who lease **** e in your heart. Whether it's because of their personal story, recruiting pedigree, play style, jersey number, or some other je ne sais quoi you appreciate, these guys are the ones who make you say, "that's my boy" when they make a play.
Catch: As a somewhat arbitrary restriction, you have to limit your list to five players. And as a not-totally-arbitrary restriction to make it more interesting, I suggest you limit yourself to one player per position. That's what I'll be doing anyway, and this year I have to start from scratch after an exodus of my entire roster of boys. So better get to it.
This is the most prominent player you'll see on this list. It's not really in keeping with the spirit of it to go for all the top guys who are going to make every single play, but it's smart to invest stock in one low-risk player you'll get to cheer for regularly. So I can indulge in an RB1 who's been overlooked by many this offseason.

Three months before Lane Kiffin enraged the Ole Miss football fanbase by leaving for LSU, ESPN aired a documentary about him that showcased what seemed to be a genuine love for Oxford.
Kiffin, now settled in as the coach for rival Tigers, sat down with ESPN's Marty Smith and Ryan McGee to explain things in a recorded interview on SEC Network that aired Aug. 10.
The film was **** led "The Many Lives of Lane Kiffin." In it, Kiffin said his six years coaching at Ole Miss were the best of his life on and off the field, and that he needed Oxford a lot more than Oxford needed him.
McGee created the documentary. Because Kiffin left Oxford for Baton Rouge shortly after the film aired, McGee asked Kiffin if he was being truthful in the way he talked about Ole Miss.
"I can totally see why they would ask that," Kiffin responded. "Obviously I see my side. Making a decision to take a different job, in my opinion, on my side of it, has nothing to do with anything that was said in that special."

Saturday in the WNBA was anything but uneventful. Saturday's game between the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky saw Fever guard Sophie Cunningham end up on the wrong end of a very hard foul.
While Cunningham was attempting a layup in transition, Sky guard DiJonai Carrington struck her in the face while going for a chase-down block, sending her tumbling to the floor. After video review, Carrington was ****** sed a flagrant 2 foul and ejected from the game.
After being removed from competition, Carrington attributed the loss to "white privilege" on Threads.
However, conservative pundit Riley Gaines doesn't think things are quite so cut and dry.
"I would actually say that this is Black privilege, to be totally honest with you, because her posting this white racist comment right after ****** aulting Sophie Cunningham on the court is actually black privilege because she knows the WNBA won't do a single thing of significance about it," Gaines said.

Talk about a love that was meant to be. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell first met in 1966 on the set of "The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band," but the "Tombstone" actor wasn't even legal. Fast forward 17 years, and the two reconnected while filming "Swing Shift" and have been together since. After welcoming their son Wyatt together in 1986, Hawn and Russell proved that their on-screen chemistry was as strong as ever while filming "Overboard" a year later. Hawn later shared on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in 2017 that rewatching the hit comedy with her longtime partner brought all the feels. "You know how sometimes you forget why you fell in love? I remembered everything, and why I fell in love. It was really something to be able to watch that," she gushed.
