Grambling (4-3, 2-2) lost 61-31 at Alabama A&M last week and has given up 158 points in the past three weeks, albeit winning two of those games.
Grambling leads the all-time series 10-6 but has lost the past two meetings in one-score games.

Oct. 29—MITCHELL — The early season kickoff to the Dakota Wesleyan University basketball teams returns on Friday, with the inaugural CorTrust Classic taking place at the Corn Palace.
Eight teams will gather in Mitchell Friday and Saturday. The Tiger squads will host, featuring doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday nights to cap each day's action.
Play begins at 1 p.m. Friday with Concordia (Neb.) and Valley City (N.D.) State in a women's game, followed by Hastings (Neb.) against Valley City State in a men's contest. The DWU women will play William Penn (Iowa) at 5:30 p.m., followed by DWU's men against Bethany College of Kansas at 7:30 p.m.
The teams will be in action again on Saturday, with DWU playing both VCSU teams at 5:30 p.m. (women) and 7:30 p.m. (men).
DWU women's basketball coach Jason Christensen said the idea for the event came after talking with Concordia women's basketball coach Drew Olson. The Tigers will play in the Bulldogs' Cattle Classic next week for the second consecutive year on the women's side, playing nationally ranked teams in Seward, Nebraska.

EDMESTON – Gavin Zinger got the game winner early in the second half as the host Panthers, the No. 2 seed, beat third-seeded Gilboa-Conesville/Roxbury, 2-1, in the Section IV Class D boys soccer semifinals Wednesday, Oct. 28.
It was the third win the Panthers, the Tri-Valley League and Tri-Del champions, and defending section champions, have had over G-C/R, the Delaware League champions, this season.
Last season, the two squads tied twice, including in the section finals, but Edmeston advanced to the state playoffs on penalty kicks.
This season, the Panthers swept three games despite being outplayed at times by G-C/R, which controlled the first half Wednesday.
Dominic Grieco scored to give G-C/R a 1-0 lead, but an own goal just before halftime evened the match.

As players, David Blough and Sean Mannion never played together, or faced off against each other, not as starting quarterbacks, anyway. But they're set to square off in Week 1 as two of the most intriguing — and most untested — offensive coordinators in the NFL this season as Blough's Washington Commanders open the 2026 NFL season on the road against Mannion's Philadelphia Eagles.
Both were career backup quarterbacks, with a combined 10 NFL starts between them. Each spent time on three or more teams' rosters and practice squads as players. Blough once essentially replaced Mannion with the Minnesota Vikings in 2022. Both ended their playing days following the 2023 season, transitioned to coaching and have been thrust into coveted OC roles early in their coaching careers — and both before the age of 35. They're part of a new group of younger and inexperienced play-callers.

After their first day off in September on Thursday, the Brewers will continue their stretch of NL Central foes as they'll host the Reds for three games in Milwaukee, the second time they'll see Cincinnati in the last two weeks, as the Reds took two of three in Cincy last weekend. The Brewers are coming off of a sweep of the Cubs to balloon their NL Central lead to 10 games over the rest of the pack, sitting at 91-56 with 15 games left. The Reds, who sit in last place, are 69-77 after being swept by the Dodgers to begin the week.
Since the last time these teams met, the Reds have activated right-hander Graham Ashcraft and third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes from the IL, with left-hander Sam Moll designated for ******* ignment and utility man Edwin Arroyo optioned to Triple-A Louisville in the corresponding moves. The Brewers have only lost Grant Anderson, who was placed on the 15-day IL with biceps tendinitis. He was replaced on the active roster by Brandon Sproat, though Sproat was demoted once again on Thursday, with the corresponding move expected to be a recall of right-hander Garrett Stallings to shore up the bullpen. Jake Bauers is also continuing to deal with a variety of lower-body injuries, and the Brewers have opted to focus on managing the injuries rather than putting him on the IL.

Unfortunately, I forgot to bring back a sports almanac from the future for betting purposes, so I can only give you a high-level summary of each result.
UW 38 – WSU 17. The Kirby Moore era gets off to a barely passable start for WSU as Caden Pinnick makes a few big plays against a new look Husky secondary. The Dawgs also pick him off two times and are able to turn things over to the second-string offense for the fourth quarter. UW totals over 200 rushing yards, with Williams, Carr, and Limar each going over 50 yards.
UW 48 – Utah St 14. Week 1 gave the Huskies a solid, definitive victory, but it wasn't such a beatdown that the Dawgs truly made a statement. In Week 2, they resolved to do exactly that. After focusing on the run game against the Cougs, Williams and Fisch decide to air it out to the tune of four passing TDs, including a pair of TD receptions for Decker DeGraaf.
UW 55 – EWU 10. Not content with the style points accumulated against Utah St., the Dawgs set out to establish themselves as a heavyweight against their cross-state FCS opponent. This year's Eagles are not one of the best squads they have put together, and the Dawgs made that clear with 38 points in the first half. Roebuck got things started with a long TD catch on the first offensive possession and UW never looked back.

Fueled by this outstanding postseason run, UConn's 2023-24 team was the most popular answer, with 17% of coaches choosing the Huskies and several highlighting Hurley's role in cultivating such historic dominance.
"Insanely dominant," one coach told CBS about the Huskies. "Five NBA players in the starting lineup. Best coach in the sport on the sidelines."
That ***** le run is part of an ongoing stretch of postseason excellence for UConn, as the Huskies reached their third national championship game in four seasons this past April before falling against Michigan. The 2025-26 Michigan team, fueled by a dominant frontcourt of Yaxel Lendeborg, Morez Johnson and Aday Mara, is tied for second place at 14% with the 2000-01 Duke squad. Other top answers include 2017-18 Villanova, 2006-07 Florida and John Calipari's Kentucky squads from 2011-12 and 2014-15.
For a group of reigning champions, the 2023-24 UConn squad was hardly a runaway favorite to make another national ***** le run, as Hurley needed to replace several key contributors, including star centers Adama Sanogo and wings Andre Jackson and Jordan Hawkins. The Huskies appeared somewhat mortal early on, letting a late lead against Kansas slip away at Allen Fieldhouse to kick off December before a stunning 15-point road loss at Seton Hall three weeks later.

The dust has settled on what has been an extremely eventful Tottenham Hotspur summer transfer window. You can see how busy Spurs were from the transfer summary article, which isn't even complete despite me doing my best to track it all summer long. (Alasdair Gold counted 54 moves this summer in all squads including reserves and U-squads; clearly I missed some, especially in the youth and reserve teams.) If nothing else, Tottenham Hotspur was certainly not idle.
But how did we do? Well… it's complicated. Spurs spend an obscene amount of money on new signings (£394m by best estimation, not including purchase options), offset a great deal by numerous player sales (£264m including options). The net spend is actually not that bad — £130m all said, which puts it in line with transfer spends in the last few years of the Daniel Levy era.
Spurs have turned over the club in Roberto De Zerbi's image, and whether you think that's a positive or not is very likely going to color your perception of the window as a whole. Matty and I have our takes. Let's see what you think!
Okay, so I'm going to get meta on you all right now. How do you even grade a transfer window? Do you look purely at the players brought in? Or do you look a level deeper, at what those signings imply about leadership and process? In my writing of this blurb, I went back and looked at my summary this time last year (which, by the way I rated as a C+, a rating I would say was pretty apt given the ensuing results, even though many thought we were being overly negative). The Yahoo Fantasy crew completed a 12-person draft for their expert league on Tuesday, which provided plenty of highlights. Among the more memorable moments in the draft came in Round 4 when two ***** ysts tapped into the same offense for very different reasons to help build out their squads.
Chris Allen was content with a floor pick, while Scott Pianowski chased ceiling. Both ***** ysts were buying the Chicago Bears.

Allen opened up the round, and he went with a boring but dependable pick, which is usually Pianowski's jam.
"I'll go running back here, 'cause I'm seeing a lot of the value and the talent here start to drop off," Allen said, before taking Chicago's D'Andre Swift. "I think the running game for Chicago is being under-discussed during the offseason. It's been more about what's your take on Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, Colston Loveland.
