Hunter Schafer attended the WIRED World Fair in Miami on Wednesday, where she took part in a panel discussion.

For an event exploring the intersection of technology, creativity and culture, Hunter's NIHL by Neil Grotzinger Spring 2027 look felt particularly fitting. With her upcoming television series Blade Runner 2099 being her latest project, the futuristic aesthetic also seemed especially relevant, even if this wasn't an official promotional appearance.
The neon-yellow hooded top, covered in intricate floral embellishments, has an almost otherworldly quality, while the contrasting printed skirt adds to the unconventional aesthetic. The combination of traditional decorative techniques and futuristic design makes this an interesting choice for the occasion.
By swapping the runway's chunky boots for lilac pumps, she gave the outfit a more feminine feel while keeping its unconventional appeal.

Sydney Sweeney is getting into the holiday spirit with the latest drop from her lingerie and loungewear brand, SYRN. The actor fronted the campaign for the label's new "All I Want Is Plaid" collection from the Holiday Shop, bringing festive charm to every frame. The playful campaign featured cozy Christmas sets and stacks of wrapped presents.
For the campaign, Sydney Sweeney slipped into SYRN's Snow Problem Flannel Cami and Shorts Set, priced at $69. The matching plaid set featured a flannel cami with two front panels tied together at the bust, creating a flirty cutout effect.
The fitted silhouette hugged her frame while the coordinating plaid micro shorts sat comfortably on the waist with a pull-on design. An embroidered SYRN logo at the shorts' hem added a subtle finishing touch.
She layered the festive look with white thigh-high stockings and completed it with lavender-blue platform heels. A soft pale blue faux-fur-trimmed cape draped over her shoulders, making the outfit feel even more holiday-ready.
The campaign showed Sweeney balancing wrapped presents and posing among snow-covered Christmas trees. She playfully tangled herself in colorful string lights before the reel ended with the SYRN logo appearing on a vintage television.

Jessica Chastain brought bold color and a playful silhouette to her latest New York City appearance. The actor stepped out in a striking micro minidress that put her legs in the spotlight, while her blonde bob added another noticeable detail to the look. Rather than relying on elaborate accessories, she let the dress's graphic print take centre stage.

For the outing, Jessica Chastain wore Emilio Pucci's Iride Print Cady Dress. The sleeveless design featured a square neckline, a fitted bodice, and a short wrap-style skirt that barely skimmed her thighs. Its hot pink, black, and brown geometric pattern featured sweeping diagonal stripes that gave the mini a bold, graphic finish.
An asymmetric panel crossed the front of the skirt, creating a layered effect and a subtle opening. The detail added dimension to the short silhouette without taking attention away from the vibrant print.

When Idina Menzel should've been celebrating some of her career's biggest accomplishments, the singer and award-winning performer was dealing with a deeply personal struggle. However, Menzel, who originated Elphaba in "Wicked" on Broadway, said booking roles in "Frozen" and the 2014 musical "If/Then" actually "saved" her when she needed it most.

A post shared by Idina Menzel Fans (idinahere)
On a Comic-Con panel, Menzel reflected on two of her career's biggest highlights: "Frozen" and "If/Then," both of which came around 2013. According to Menzel, 55, she was also going through a "really hard" split from Diggs, whom she married in 2003, during that time.
Amid the complicated split, though, Menzel found solace in her role as Elizabeth in the Broadway musical "If/Then," playing a woman who returned to New York City after a divorce. "The story of the show was so much about a woman who's making different choices in her life and finding her identity," she said.

Hey gang! It's your ol' pal Jay. I woke up in a cold sweat after a nightmare about a failed audition from like 20 years ago, so I decided to spread that anxiety 'round the world! See, back in them days, you couldn't just send a self-tape all willy nilly. You had to physically bike on down to some building in a shady part of town, wipe the sweat from your brow, and perform for a little panel of directors and producers.
I don't want to brag, but I got a callback for a Taco Bell commercial. The director asked me to deliver this one line in different ways but still convey that this imaginary burrito was yummy. After a few runs of not getting it right, he seemed to be getting a little perturbed. I rifled off a couple more nervous ones until he stopped me and said, "No. You have to pretend that you're thoroughly enjoying the food. You know… Like an actor."
The room went silent as I shrunk to microscopic proportions. I didn't get the part obviously, but I had a good run back then! Booked some commercials for KFC, Pepsi, Nabob Coffee, and Tetley Tea, so… Ya. I haven't acted in a long time, but don't worry. I still take harsh criticisms on an almost daily basis! If you love cringey audition stories like that, just wait till you see these ones from A-listers. Cringey stuff here, folks. Enjoy.

Fresh off the plane from Paris, Emma Stone stepped onto the New York Film Festival red carpet for the premiere of her upcoming film, The Debut.
Theo Wargo/Getty Images for FLC
We were blown away by the bright blue Louis Vuitton tailored look she wore in the front row of the Spring 2027 show, and I was hopeful it would signal a run of bolder fashion choices. But seeing Emma back on the red carpet in this fresh-off-the-runway Louis Vuitton Spring 2027 slip dress, I feel like we're right back where we started.
My main issue is the top half of the dress. The draped neckline and contrasting panel feel awkward, while the pale grey and beige tones wash her out, especially after seeing how well she wore that vivid blue in Paris.
Looking at the runway, I would have much preferred the original yellow version. We already know how good Emma looks in yellow. Her 2014 Atelier Versace dress, 2026 Golden Globes look, Bugonia London premiere look and that iconic La La Land dress are all reminders of how well the colour works for her.

Paris Hilton turned up the drama for a glamorous night out in Paris. The socialite joined the fashion crowd for the BoF500 Gala, delivering another head-turning moment during Fashion Week. For the occasion, Hilton went all in on sheer dressing with an intricate all-black look.
Hilton wore Annie's Theodora Gown, a floor-length creation constructed almost entirely from delicate black lace. The braless sheer lace dress featured a high neckline, long sleeves, and strategically placed opaque lace panels that contrasted against the transparent fabric.
The gown's sheer construction put plenty of skin on display, with Hilton not wearing anything underneath. Scalloped lace and curved detailing framed her chest and midriff, while a more opaque section provided coverage through the center. Below the hips, the delicate floral lace became completely sheer again, extending all the way down to the floor.
The fitted silhouette hugged Hilton's figure before subtly flaring toward the hem. She kept the all-black theme going with pointed heels visible beneath the transparent skirt.
Paris Hilton's look also received a futuristic styling touch courtesy of narrow black sunglasses. She swept her blonde hair into a high, tousled updo, leaving curled strands loose around her face. Rather than loading up on jewelry, Hilton allowed the elaborate lacework to remain the focus.

Chris Brown is getting another shot at the eight-figure verdict handed down against him in the dog-mauling case brought by his former housekeeper, but only if she refuses to accept less money.
According to legal documents obtained by Complex, Los Angeles judge Huey P. Cotton ruled that Brown and his company Black Pyramid LLC are entitled to a new trial limited to damages for Maria Avila, unless Avila consents to having her award reduced to $9.5 million. Judge Cotton denied all of Brown's other motions in the filing. Avila was originally awarded $12.9 million by a jury.
Cotton found the jury's $12.9 million figure excessive, pointing to insufficient evidence of permanent nerve damage and of the dollar value the panel attached to Avila's future pain and suffering. The judge did credit the evidence that Avila faces future humiliation, shame, and embarrassment.
The rest of Brown's arguments went nowhere. Cotton rejected the claim that jurors were tainted by the admission of Brown's 2009 felony ******* ault conviction involving Rihanna.

Natasha Lyonne was yet another celebrity who took the runway this fashion week, trying her hand at modeling on Vivienne Westwood's spring 2027 show held on Oct. 3 in Paris. Much like Olivia Colman for Miu Miu's spring 2027 show, Lyonne embodied the brand's spirit, clad in the designer's pieces from head to heel. The "Poker Face" star's look, which came straight from the mind of the brand's Creative Director Andreas Kronthaler, featured a glitzy pair of gladiator-style shoes. The silhouette, which brought back the trend of years gone by, was equipped with a panel on the front adorned with floral motifs, pearls and vines, all in gold that, from afar, looked like sequins. Natasha Lyonne at the Vivienne Westwood spring 2027 fashion show on Oct. 03, 2026, in Paris. The designer footwear was mixed with something akin to a clog, since the platform base was wooden. Each shoe also featured peep toes and wooden heels that jutted towards the soles. The hybrid style seemed to be a centerpiece of the collection, seen on a slew of

Black may be one of the safest colors in formal fashion, but the 2026 Venice Film Festival showed how unpredictable it can become in the right hands. Across premieres and ceremonies, stars embraced lace, velvet, satin, sculptural tailoring and elaborate draping. Instead of relying on color to create impact, designers used texture and silhouette to give each outfit a distinctive personality. Laura Dern, Susan Sarandon, Amal Clooney, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Rooney Mara all approached the classic shade differently. Together, their appearances demonstrated why black continues to have such staying power on major red carpets.
Laura Dern embraced intricate detailing for the premiere of Wild Horse Nine. Her sleeveless black Dior gown featured a V neckline, delicate lace and floral embroidery across the upper section. The design transitioned into a fuller shimmering skirt, giving the monochrome look depth through contrasting textures. Black Dior pumps maintained the restrained palette, while a Cartier necklace provided a polished finishing touch.
Susan Sarandon chose a more streamlined interpretation at the premiere of The Echo Chamber. Her black Fendi dress featured long sleeves and an off the shoulder neckline, with a fluid silhouette that followed the body without requiring elaborate embellishment. Statement jewelry, sunglasses and bright red lipstick added personality, demonstrating how accessories can completely change the mood of an otherwise minimalist black dress.
For the festival's opening ceremony, Amal Clooney turned to Tom Ford. Her floor length column gown used rippled fabric panels and subtle leather detailing to create movement and texture. Pointed pumps and a coordinating clutch continued the sleek approach. The result demonstrated how carefully constructed fabric can make a single color visually interesting without overwhelming the overall silhouette.
Maggie Gyllenhaal brought archival fashion into the conversation with an Armani Privé velvet gown originally created in 2015. The design combined sharply defined shoulders, long sleeves and a plunging embellished neckline. Its return more than a decade later also highlighted the growing red carpet practice of revisiting existing fashion rather than treating older couture as something that belongs permanently in an archive.

Science educator Bill Nye the Science Guy has been teaching Millennials all about science for their entire lives. At 70, he's still doing it.
Nye recently spoke at the Clinton Global Initiative 2026 Annual Meeting in New York City. While there, attendee Dr. Trisha Pasricha, MD, MPH, shared a video of Nye on TikTok that's gone viral. In it, Nye pulled out a physical copy of the U.S. Constitution while offering the audience an encouraging message about science.
"Bill Nye just pulled out the Constitution—and the crowd erupted," she wrote in the video's overlay, adding in the caption: "BillNye, the gentleman and scholar that you are."
In the video, Nye is participating in a panel discussion.
"I have a copy of the U.S. Constitution, which some of you may know is now available in paperback," he quips. "Say what you will about the U.S., say what you will about the Founding Fathers, the guys who wrote it. You could have mixed feelings about them. But Article 1, Section 8, Clause 8 of the U.S. Constitution [states]: 'The role of Congress is to promote the progress of science and useful arts.'"

Former supermodel Naomi Campbell won a legal challenge on Thursday to overturn a five-year ban on being a charity trustee after a panel accepted she had been the victim of deception.
The Charity Commission watchdog had banned Campbell in 2024 after identifying "multiple instances of misconduct" at her charity, Fashion for Relief.
The tribunal ruled on Thursday that there had been mismanagement but Campbell was "not involved" and "did not know" about it.
Instead, Campbell had been the victim of deception perpetrated by her co-trustee, Bianka ******* mich, who was disqualified from being a charity trustee for nine years.
Hellmich had "used forged documents and a false email address" purporting to belong to Campbell, the tribunal ruled.

On September 15, Digital Realty (NYSE:DLR) made ServiceFabric MCP available, a software layer that lets AI agents design, monitor and troubleshoot network connections across more than 800 data centers, including third-party sites. That nudges a real estate company toward becoming a control panel for enterprise AI. It arrives after second quarter results reported on July 23, when Core FFO per share, the company's preferred earnings yardstick, excluding net promote rose to $2.13 from $1.87 a year earlier. Here is what the launch does, and what it has yet to prove.
The pitch is that enterprise AI needs more than servers. It needs power, cooling, and sovereign placement that software can control. ServiceFabric MCP handles four jobs: designing and provisioning connections, spotting capacity and watching live network health, managing access through OAuth 2, and handing troubleshooting to agents with links into chat and monitoring tools. It is also open by design. Customers do not have to live only in Digital Realty buildings or commit to a single AI model. An IDC research VP argues that public cloud interfaces alone cannot give enterprises enough control over data movement and policy, which favors providers that pair global reach with programmable interconnection. Digital Realty runs the system on its own AI workloads, and See All AI, a medical imaging developer, leans on the Boston campus and ServiceFabric to move large datasets quickly and securely.
The financial engine underneath is running hot. Renewal leases in the second quarter were signed at rates 25.4% higher on a cash basis, which shows customers will pay more to stay put. Signed leases waiting to start added up to a $1.9 billion backlog of annualized base rent at 100% share, so future revenue is already lined up. Management responded by lifting its 2026 Core FFO per share outlook, excluding net promote, to $8.15 to $8.20.
Start with what the launch has not shown yet. Digital Realty itself calls MCP an emerging standard, and ServiceFabric MCP is still being validated across internal, enterprise, and partner deployments. The announcement puts no dollar figure on what it could add to revenue, and the company describes it only as the first programmable surface of a larger architecture that may later stretch into ***** e, power and inventory. Until customers pay for this layer, it is a promising idea more than a line item.
Then there is the bill for the physical side. Digital Realty carried about $18.6 billion of debt at June 30, 2026, and its 2026 development spending outlook, net of partner contributions, now sits at $4.25 billion to $4.75 billion. The outlook also ***** umes new long-term debt priced at 4.5% to 5.5%, up from the earlier 4.0% to 4.5%. To help pay for growth, the company has sold roughly 13.5 million shares this year for about $2.5 billion, which spreads future earnings across more owners. And the quarter's headline flattered a bit: Core FFO per share of $2.65 included a $18

The top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee has exercised a hold on a $2.8 billion weapons sale to Israel, The Hill has learned, allying with her counterpart in the House and underscoring deep mistrust with the Trump administration and Israeli government.
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) has expressed frustration that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has done nothing to address concerns from, specifically, Democratic lawmakers over the high civilian death tolls in Gaza, Israel’s bombing in Syria and escalating violence against Palestinians by extremist Israeli settlers in the West Bank.
The weapons package includes 40,000 one-ton bombs, munitions that the former Biden administration held back from sending to Israel for its indiscriminate destruction, contributing to the high death toll in the Gaza Strip.
An estimated 70,000 Palestinians were killed over the course of the three-year war between Israel and Hamas, according to Palestinian health officials, but that does not distinguish between militants and civilians.
Shaheen, as the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations panel, has authority to hold back the Trump administration from moving ahead on weapons sales over a certain dollar amount. It’s generally an informal consultative process, where the State Department works to address a lawmaker’s concerns and get the green light before moving ahead on the arms sale.

The national average price of regular gasoline jumped 16 cents in a single week to $4.32 a gallon on September 14, 2026, a move that puts the pump price in the 90th percentile of the past year and caps a 7.8% jump in one month. The proximate cause sits upstream: WTI crude cleared $97.26 a barrel on September 9 after running up 16.1% in a month, and Brent has traded through the $100 line. On Fed decision day, a CNBC Morning Call panel put a number on where this stops being an inconvenience and starts being a recession.

WASHINGTON, Sept 16 (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate Commerce Committee approved legislation on Wednesday to bar government officials from pressuring private companies to censor speech, citing threats from the Trump administration against late-night talk shows as evidence of efforts to stifle free expression.
The measure would allow citizens to sue federal employees who pressure private companies into suppressing speech protected by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees free expression. Both Republicans and Democrats on the committee said the bill was needed to curb government overreach.
The committee approved the bill 18-10. It must still pass the full Senate, where it is unclear when it may be taken up, and the U.S. House of Representatives to become law.
Senator Maria Cantwell, the top Democrat on the panel, said the bill, if it had been in effect, would have allowed Disney-owned ABC's late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel to file suit after Federal Communications Commission chair Brendan Carr last year pressured station owners to stop airing Kimmel's show following remarks about the ****** assination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
