After the bruising their T20 side endured on the UK tour, this Zimbabwe series could be just the ideal fillip India needed.
Having finally recorded their maiden win under new T20 captain Shreyas Iyer after seven winless matches at the helm, India will look to secure an unassailable 2-0 lead when they take on Zimbabwe in the second T20I at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday.
Following a difficult run that saw them whitewashed by Ireland (0-2) and England (0-4), India's convincing sevenwicket victory in the seriesopener has restored some much-needed confidence.
Yet, even as the visitors look to build on that momentum, one player who will be under the scanner is explosive opener Abhishek Sharma.
Two years ago, Harare was the venue where Abhishek announced himself on the international stage with a breathtaking maiden T20I hundred in only his second game.
The stylish left-hander returns to the same ground searching for a spark after a worrying dip in form. Having begun the England series promisingly with scores of 59 and 43, Abhishek's returns thereafter have read 10, 16, 3 and 1. In Thursday's opener, his uncomfortable eight-ball 1 suggested a batter short on rhythm and confidence.
With competition for places intensifying, Abhishek knows he needs runs. Senior opener Sanju Samson, though absent on this tour, remains in the selectors' plans and has been named in India's squad for the Asian Games later this year. A substantial score in Harare would not only help India seal the series but also strengthen Abhishek's own case in a rapidly evolving T20 setup.
India, though, found a new hero in the opening match.
Teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed a stunning 18-ball fifty, becoming the youngest player to score a T20I half-century.
The 15-year-old, who had endured a difficult England tour where pacy bowlers like Jofra Archer tested him relentlessly with short-pitched bowling, responded in style against Zimbabwe.
Taking on Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani fearlessly, he produced a blistering innings that underlined why he is so highly rated.
Supported by Ishan Kishan's brisk 35 and an unbeaten 28 from skipper Iyer, Sooryavanshi ensured India chased down the target with more than six overs to spare.
Head coach VVS Laxman would have been equally pleased by the performance of India's revamped pace attack. The biggest positive was the return of Mayank Yadav, who made an impressive comeback after two injury-ravaged years. The Delhi quick finished with figures of 2 for 18 and consistently touched high speeds, with his opening delivery to Brian Bennett at 150 kmph indidcating that his pace remains intact.
Prince Yadav also showed signs of improvement after a lean England tour, while debutant Ashok Sharma displayed enough promise to suggest he could become another exciting fast-bowling option.

Every indication is that elegant Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi is the second midfielder that Manchester City are aiming to sign this summer. Signing Bouaddi is imperative for City to future-proof their midfield. The 18-year-old Moroccan international looms as a player that City could build their midfield around for the long-term. Bouaddi's ability to maintain possession, read the game and drive the ball up the pitch at such a young age makes him one of the most highly rated young midfielders in European football. It has now been reported that Manchester City are confident of agreeing a deal with Lille to sign Bouaddi as their midfield revamp is seemingly taking shape.
Jack Johnson has reported for TeamTalk that Manchester City are increasingly confident that will agree a deal with Lille to sign Ayyoub Bouaddi. Furthermore, it is also reported that if City do agree to sign the Moroccan international from Lille they will not be loaning him back to the Ligue One side. As per Jack Johnson's report Lille are asking for £85.3 to sell their prized ******* et. They would demand £68 million if Bouaddi was loaned back to them for next season. The indication is that City will pay around £85 million to sign Bouaddi provided that they settle on a deal with Lille.
The midfield situation at Manchester City is ever-evolving. It would seem that the chances that Rodri could leave City for Real Madrid this summer have increased exponentially. City do still have Nico Gonzalez who could attempt to fill that particular void. The possibility that Nico O'Reilly could move into midfield is also a possibility. Elliot Anderson's arrival at the FA Cup and Carabao Cup holders adds another quality midfielder to their ranks. However, if Rodri leaves, even if he stays, Manchester City do need another midfielder. Especially one who could one day replace Rodri. Ayyoub Bouaddi does loom as that player.
Ayyoub Bouaddi is a player who could become a long-term player for Manchester City. Of course they have to sign him from Lille first. Bouaddi's age and already established pedigree makes an elite long-term prospect for the FA Cup and Carabao Cup holders. Finding a player, especially a midfielder, with those traits is especially difficult. City seem to have identified in Bouaddi and are determined to sign him.
Manchester City's confidence is growing that they will sign Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille this summer. Bouaddi's star rose due to his exceptional performances for Morocco at the World Cup and City will hope to sign him sooner rather than later.

IRONMAN Jacksonville will return May 16, 2027, organizers announced, with general registration set to open Aug. 6.
The announcement, branded "Jump Into The Next Chapter," promotes an "evolving bike course."

The S&P 500 index is famous for a reason: It might be the most proven wealth-building machine humankind has ever seen. The index is an evolving basket of America's best companies. It weights companies by market cap, so the better a stock performs, the larger it becomes in the index. The index has generated an annualized return of 10.33% since 1957. In other words, your money would double about every seven years.
Of course, that's annualized, so it smooths out the spikes and dips, and to be clear, it's not always a smooth ride. The stock market is a collective of human emotions, so things can go to extremes -- in both directions, now and then. There have been outright market crashes throughout history, including the Great Depression in 1929 and the COVID-19 pandemic nearly a century later.

UiPath (NYSE:PATH), an artificial intelligence (AI) robotic and automation software provider, closed at $12.04, down 0.99%. Recent investment reports that put the spotlight on UiPath's customer demand could have put it in focus, while investors will be watching the next earnings call for guidance and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) trends.
Trading volume reached 175.3 million shares, coming in about 235% above its three-month average of 52.3 million shares. UiPath IPO'd in 2021 and has fallen 832 since going public.
S&P 500 (SNPINDEX:^GSPC) rose 0.89% to 7,509, and the Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX:^IXIC) gained 1.29% to 25,837. Among application software peers focused on enterprise automation, Appian closed at $25.35, down 2.61%, and Pegasystems closed at $30.94, down 2.27%.
UiPath slipped slightly today, but the increased trading volume suggests the stock is on investor radars. It has gained 17% in the past month as investors begin to re-enter the software-as-a-service sector, thinking this year's dramatic sell-off could have been overblown. While there was no direct UiPath news, a Zacks report yesterday highlighted continued demand for its services and rising ARR.
UiPath uses AI to automate repetitive tasks, but the risk is that clients will eventually be able to integrate AI-driven automation without needing an intermediary like UiPath to help them. Last week it announced a deal with UK-based online retailer, The Very Group, to provide agentic AI pricing, demonstrating commercial demand. However, it is a competitive and rapidly evolving **** e, and **** ysts are concerned that UiPath isn't growing fast enough.

The artificial intelligence boom has created an era of unprecedented uncertainty in the global economy. Large language models are evolving as quickly as they are being integrated, creating a major headache for anyone trying to project their future impact or even their current energy footprint. But while we don't know exactly how much energy will be needed to power the tech sector in coming years, we do know that it will be a whole lot, and the market is already reacting accordingly.
"Energy companies are raising money at IPO at their fastest pace this century, taking advantage of investors' hunt for new ways to bet on the boom in power-intensive AI data centres," states a recent report from the Financial Times. In the first half of this year, the money raised in initial public offerings for energy startups was the highest since 1999, when the first dot-com boom spurred a similar gold rush. And the rate of growth is staggering: in 2025, energy companies raised a total of $4.3 billion for the entire year. The total for 2026 is already at $12.6 billion, and we still have another half year to go.
"Investors started by buying AI-linked names like Nvidia. Then they said, 'hold on, every chip needs energy to power it'," RBC clean energy ******* yst Chris Dendrinos was quoted by the Financial Times. "That's put a huge tailwind behind these companies."
This spending spree includes a wide range of energy companies, including unproven and next-gen energy technologies that are enjoying a windfall of funding that they may not otherwise have achieved. The tech sector is investing heavily in pie-in-the-sky energy research like nuclear fusion, enhanced geothermal energy, and ******* e-based solar power. Earlier this year Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram, signed a deal with startup Overview Energy to develop as much as 1 gigawatt of ******* e-based solar power.
The market is particularly bullish about nuclear fusion, which has finally broken through on Wall Street after years of struggling to go private. Historically, nuclear fusion research is so expensive and seen as so experimental that it's been funded by governments and huge public projects. But now fusion startups are popping up in astonishing numbers and seeing successful IPOs.

At the end of last year, Warren Buffett retired as chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRKA)(NYSE: BRKB) and passed the reins to Greg Abel. Although Buffett still has some influence on the company, it's clear that Abel and Berkshire Hathaway are embracing new strategies.
Since Abel took over, Berkshire Hathaway's stock portfolio has changed a bit, and one of the biggest shifts is that it has loaded up on Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG)(NASDAQ: GOOGL). Berkshire Hathaway purchased its first Alphabet shares in late 2025, but Abel has taken it up a notch. It's now Berkshire Hathaway's fifth-largest holding, accounting for 8.7% of its stock portfolio (across both share classes).

Alphabet isn't the typical Berkshire Hathaway investment, but amid the evolving artificial intelligence (AI) landscape, it makes sense for the conglomerate to embrace an AI company that has its hands in many pots. Between its prior public stake and the company's announcement of a new $10 billion private placement purchase in June, Berkshire Hathaway now holds a nearly $31 billion stake.
It's clear that AI is here to stay. The way people and businesses interact with it will inevitably evolve, but the technology itself isn't going anywhere. Alphabet is a smart investment for Berkshire Hathaway because it's a full-stack AI company that handles most of the pipeline in-house. It has operations in key parts of the AI ecosystem, including:

Fred Alger Management, an investment management company, released its "Alger Small Cap Focus Fund" second-quarter 2026 investor letter. A copy of the letter can be downloaded here. U.S. equities experienced a strong recovery in Q2 2026, with the S&P 500 Index gaining 15.2%, marking its best quarter since 2020. A ceasefire between the United States and Iran and accelerated investment in artificial intelligence (AI) fueled market optimism in the quarter, driving the Information Technology and Industrials sectors forward while Energy and Utilities lagged due to falling oil and gas prices. In June, the Federal Reserve maintained steady interest rates, but the meeting had a hawkish tone. As AI transitions into its agentic phase, opportunities are identified within sectors adopting the technology. The Alger Small Cap Focus Fund's Class A shares outperformed the Russell 2000 Growth Index in the quarter, driven by strong performances in the Industrials and Health Care sectors, while Financials and Consumer Discretionary detracted from the performance. In addition, please check the Fund's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, Alger Small Cap Focus Fund highlighted Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:CRDO) as a notable performance contributor. Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:CRDO) is a US-based semiconductor company that provides high-speed connectivity solutions for optical and electrical Ethernet and PCIe applications. On July 20, 2026, Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:CRDO) closed at $212.07 per share. One-month return of Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:CRDO) was -20.23%, and its shares gained 133.50% over the past 52 weeks. Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:CRDO) has a market capitalization of $39.55 billion.
Alger Small Cap Focus Fund stated the following regarding Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:CRDO) in its Q2 2026 investor update:
"Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:CRDO) provides high-speed connectivity solutions used to move data across AI data centers and hyperscale networks, including active electrical cables, optical digital signal processors, and PCIe retimers. As AI systems become larger and more complex, the need to move data quickly and efficiently between servers, GPUs, and networking equipment has become increasingly important. We believe Credo benefits from this growing connectivity challenge, with an expanding product portfolio that gives the company multiple opportunities to support next-generation data center architectures. During the quarter, shares contributed positively to performance as investors responded favorably to the company's rapid revenue growth and rising demand from hyperscale customers. Investor sentiment was further supported by the view that Credo's expanding product portfolio and recent silicon photonics capabilities could help the company remain well aligned with the evolving connectivity needs of AI da

According to a report RTI Esporte, Bayern Munich has interest in Santos midfielder Gabriel Bontempo, but it could be difficult to land the 21-year-old:
Gabriel Bontempo’s future may lie far from Vila Belmiro. One of the top talents to emerge from Santos in recent years, the midfielder has caught the eye of Bayern Munich, which is preparing a bid to sign him during this transfer window.
RTI Esporte has learned that the German club has made an initial offer of 32 million euros (R$ 186.9 million at the current exchange rate), but the amount is still far below Santos’ asking price. The club’s board has set a minimum of 49 million euros (R$ 286 million) to even begin negotiations.
Despite the difference in the figures, Santos’ financial situation could influence the outcome of the deal. The need to bolster its cash reserves to meet financial obligations means the sale is being treated as a real possibility.
This is the first somewhat major rumor revolving around Bontempo and Bayern Munich, so it is difficult to ascertain just how serious it is. However, with there potentially being one central midfield spot open, maybe the Bavarians are looking for a reinforcement.

A micro-modular nuclear reactor developer with global headquarters in Italy and a U.S. corporate office in Pennsylvania said it has been selected to deploy its equipment for data center infrastructure in Latin America and Brazil.Terra Innovatum Global N.V. on July 20 said Latin American technomedia group Waiken ILW has selected Terra Innovatum's SOLO micro-modular reactor platform for an initial deployment that will support DIRECTV Latin America and SKY Brasil (Jaguariúna). The companies said they have a letter of intent that covers up to 8 MWe of behind-the-meter power generation capacity."This initiative aims to provide reliable, behind-the-meter clean energy solutions for Waiken ILW's data centers while serving as a proof of concept for other long-term, energy-intensive operations within the Waiken ILW group of companies," said Alessandro Petruzzi, co-founder and CEO at Terra Innovatum. "Critical communications infrastructure demands uninterrupted, resilient power. We believe this agreement demonstrates the growing commercial opportunity for behind-the-meter nuclear energy beyond AI data centers, extending into media, telecommunications and other critical infrastructure sectors."The agreement represents Terra Innovatum's first announced commercial deployment initiative in Latin America. The company said it reflects growing international demand for standardized, factory-built micro-modular nuclear power.
The SOLO technology was conceptualized in 2018. It was engineered across a six-year period. Terra Innovatum said SOLO "addresses pressing global energy demands with a market-ready solution. Built from readily available commercial off-the-shelf components, the proven licensing path for SOLO enables rapid deployment and minimizes supply chain risks, ensuring final cost predictability."The company said the micro-modular reactor is "designed to adapt with evolving fuel options ... SOLO supports both LEU+ and HALEU, offering a platform ready to transition to future fuel supplies."Giordano Morichi, founding partner, chief business development officer and director of investor relations for the company said, "This strategic collaboration with Waiken ILW highlights the commercial strength of our global supply chain and the versatility of our SOLO technology. The agreement demonstrates that SOLO is not designed for a single market, rather it is a platform that can scale across multiple industries and geographies, including telecommunications, cloud infrastructure and data centers, financial services, healthcare, industrial facilities and other mission-critical operations."

Memory and storage giant Micron Technology (MU) has been one of the standout beneficiaries of the artificial intelligence (AI) boom, delivering massive triple-digit gains so far in 2026. Now, the red-hot chip stock is back in focus after the company announced a series of strategic customer agreements aimed at expanding its presence in the rapidly evolving automotive technology market. On Thursday, Micron revealed strategic customer agreements (SCAs) with several major automotive and technology players, including Qualcomm (QCOM), Visteon (VC), Harman, JOYNEXT, Denso, Astemo, and Hyundai Mobis.
The partnerships come as increasingly connected and intelligent vehicles require more advanced memory and storage solutions to power everything from sophisticated infotainment systems to AI-enabled features. Micron Chairman, President, and CEO Sanjay Mehrotra emphasized that memory and storage will play an increasingly important role as vehicles become smarter and more technologically advanced. He noted that the new agreements should help ensure next-generation automotive platforms have the capabilities needed to support richer, safer, and more intelligent in-vehicle experiences. With Micron already riding strong AI-driven demand and now deepening its ties across the automotive ecosystem, could this latest development add another catalyst to MU stock?

Amend-and-extend volume totaled $27 billion in June, up from $26 billion in May, according to LCD. June's amend-and-extend activity came courtesy of 24 transactions, up from 21 in May. The $106 billion of A&E volume this year is running well ahead of last year's pace (roughly $84 billion over the first half of 2025). Last year was the second busiest year for such activity on record, behind only 2024.
Part of what continues to make amend-and-extend transactions attractive to issuers is the cost calculus versus a full refinancing. The average yield to maturity for refinancing institutional term loans via syndication is 6.7% in 2026, down from 7.4% in 2025 and 8.6% in 2024, but still higher than all the years spanning 2011-2022. With refinancing costs sitting above pre-2023 norms, extending an existing credit remains the cheaper path for many borrowers than marking the entire loan to market at today's spreads.
"Borrowers are also trying to be proactive and bring their deals to market before a new event that triggers risk-off sentiment, such as the AI-related selloff from a few months ago," said a market participant.
The distribution between institutional and pro rata A&E volume has been fairly balanced this year, with pro rata at $52 billion and institutional activity at $54 billion. June featured $18 billion of institutional volume and $8 billion of pro rata volume. Institutional volume in Q2 was $39 billion, the strongest quarterly showing in the recent series.
Note that pro rata debt typically entails amortizing TLAs and/or revolving credit facilities and is traditionally syndicated to finance companies and banks. Institutional debt consists of term loans structured specifically for institutional investors, including CLOs.

The Los Angeles Rams have a stellar offense that is being commanded by one of the best quarterbacks in football. Despite their elite scheme and the play of Matthew Stafford, the team still needs playmakers and these three are in position to be that difference.
Here are three Rams who should exceed expectations in 2026, even as high as they might be.
Nacua is already one of the best receivers in football and yet he's still grossly underrated compared to his counterparts. Entering last season, there were some divided opinions about whether he was a top-10 wide receiver. His response was to continuously shine against the top defenses in 2025. Entering 2026, Nacua is considered one of the best but his current career track makes this the season where he goes from being among the NFL's top playmakers to being the best.
With Davante Adams being a year older and the Rams evolving their tight end usage, their only consistent receiving threat is Nacua. Naturally, he will see the majority of targets and with a scheme that can attack a variety of defenses, Nacua is the tip of the spear to the NFL's best passing offense. Even at Pro Bowl status, there's still another level Nacua could reach and 2026 is the perfect opportunity to reach it.
At some point, Trost has to see the field. He's essentially the Rams' main backup lineman. He will likely serve as the swing tackle and could challenge Justin Dedich and Beaux Limmer for the top backup role on the interior.

Netflix has more than 325 million subscribers worldwide. The streaming giant has also made no secret of its ambition to become a player in the live events ******* e, especially when it comes to sports. In recent years, the company has invested heavily, securing deals with MLB, the NFL and FIFA. It has also become the home of MVP boxing promotions and WWE’s flagship program, Monday Night Raw.
However, the strategy behind Netflix’s entry into live sports is still evolving. During an appearance this past April, Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria explained that the goal is to make everything on the platform great, including live events. She also acknowledged the challenge of shifting viewers from an on-demand mindset to appointment viewing. That may prove to be the company’s biggest obstacle and could ultimately determine whether sports remain a long-term priority.
Habits are hard to change.
For much of my childhood, television revolved around appointment viewing, just as sports do today. I remember gathering with my family to watch ABC’s T.G.I.F. lineup or tuning in for Tom Brokaw and NBC Nightly News.
Today, we live in a much different media environment. Audiences have traded appointment viewing for the convenience of watching on their own schedule. Millions continue to cut the cord because they can find their favorite programming whenever they want. That’s the experience platforms like Netflix were built to deliver: premium programming available whenever and however the viewer chooses.

As the college football world turns, University of Hawaii head coach Timmy Chang remains grounded in his goals.
“I think college football has changed,” said Chang, who enters his fifth season as the Rainbow Warriors’ leader. “You have to be flexible to build a roster and compete. We’re doing that. We’re a different type of program. We’re in a different location. And that poses different factors and opportunities and challenges that we have to be able to adapt.”
Fifty-four months after inheriting a disheartened program that was in emotional turmoil, Chang is navigating an evolving landscape. The transfer portal has eased the way for players to change schools without interruption. Student-athletes may now profit from use of their name, image and likeness. The House vs. NCAA settlement requires profit sharing up to $20.5 million annually per school. (UH has budgeted $5 million for NILs and profit sharing this coming academic year, with $2.5 million earmarked for football.)
The Rainbow Warriors have been impacted living in a material whirl.
“Jackson Harris is an example,” Chang said of the wideout who received a lucrative NIL deal after transferring to LSU following the 2025 regular season. “I think he loved our program, but he left for the money.”

There's a narrative circulating the Los Angeles Rams that their RB1 job should be up for grabs between Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, due to Corum's explosiveness and the number of big runs he pulled off in 2025.
While it does make sense for Corum to have an increased workload, there is zero evidence to prove that Corum deserves the RB1 job. In order to be an RB1 on the Rams, a running back must be able to play an evolving role within the offense. The Rams' offense is predicated on mirroring the run and the pass through plays that mimic similar opening steps.
One of the more hashed-out points in the argument for why Corum isn't able to be the player the Rams need is that Corum's running style is patient and slow in his initial steps. The brilliance about his style is that he is able to navigate holes as they develop to run away from overpursuing defenders. The downside is that if those holes don't open, Corum gets tackled for a loss, and there's no fear being instilled into the defense to mirror the run and pass.
Williams may not have breakaway speed, but he is a hard-nosed runner that defenses are forced to respect with his instant quickness to their approach. Since the defense knows Williams won't wait, they have to respond at the snap of the ball, making them more susceptible to leaving gaps for the passing game to exploit.
However, the biggest issue when it comes to Corum is his play outside of being a runner. His frame is too small to be a consistent run blocker, and his hands have way too many question marks to use him in the pass game, especially since ******* tend to deflect off his hands and remain airborne for defenders to grab. He had three drops on only 14 targets last season, which is an atrocious rate.

NEW DELHI: Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has given teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi a new nickname - "Terminator 6" - and said he would love to mentor the youngster just as he did with India opener Abhishek Sharma.

Yuvraj believes the 15-year-old is a "serious player in the making" and has a bright future ahead.

Sooryavanshi recently made his senior India debut in the T20I series against England. Earlier this year, he also broke Yuvraj's record for the fastest List A fifty by an Indian, reaching the milestone in just 11 ******* during the India A vs Sri Lanka A Tri-Series final.
Speaking on Star Sports, Yuvraj explained why he calls Abhishek Sharma "Terminator 4" and revealed that Sooryavanshi has now earned the ******* le of "Terminator 6."

"I always call myself a Terminator. Now there is Terminator 4, Abhishek Sharma, who is four times better than me. And after him comes Terminator 6, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who has evolved even more. Speaking about Yuvraj's influence, Sooryavanshi said meeting his idol was a special moment.

"Yuvi Paaji is my idol too. Meeting him for the first time was a special moment. I got to spend time with him and he shared a lot of insights about the game."

"He spoke about the mental side of the game, how to handle pressure, and the importance of believing in yourself. It feels great to have so much to learn from someone like him. I am sure it will help me a lot in my career going forward," Sooryavanshi said.

HONG KONG, July 10 (Reuters) - China's submarine-fired ballistic missile test into the southern Pacific on Monday gave its military leadership an opportunity to examine some of the most complex and sensitive operations of its evolving nuclear deterrent, ***** ysts and diplomats say.
Commanding, controlling and communicating with nuclear-armed submarines attempting to operate undetected pose immense challenges, they say - something ‌felt acutely by a Chinese Communist Party leadership where the military's political loyalty is paramount.
"This aspect is certainly something that would have been very much evaluated, besides looking at the actual technical ‌capabilities of the missile and submarine," said Collin Koh, a security scholar at Singapore's S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies.
"There are still challenges ahead but it would seem they are getting close to an operational strike capability here...they are probably trying to demonstrate that even if they can't get into a position to hit the continental U.S., they could still target Guam and Hawaii."

For days, Roma has been watching the Greenwood deal unfold, with Fenerbahçe advancing toward a deal that has put any Italian club out of the running.
However, the Giallorossi are seeking strong attacking wingers who can support Gasperini next season.

Roma, though not necessarily secretive, is very active in the transfer market, despite what appears to be the case.
After seeing the Greenwood deal fall through, the Giallorossi are closely monitoring the situation of Alejandro Garnacho. The Argentine winger could leave Chelsea, as the Blues are selling him, but for now, a loan option is not open. The market, however, is always evolving, and situations can change.

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (NASDAQ:TSEM) is one of the top stocks to buy according to Whale Rock Capital Management. On June 18, Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (NASDAQ:TSEM) announced that it has shipped more than five million coherent photonic integrated circuits (PICs) to global customers of its partner Marvell Technology.
These chips are used in coherent optical transceivers, which are specialized components that transmit data over fiber optic cables. According to Tower, these components are increasingly needed to link data centers as AI computing drives up demand for network bandwidth and speed. It added that coherent PICs are harder to build than simpler chip types because they must precisely control both the phase and polarization of light. Tower has been working with Marvell to push this technology forward, including combining silicon with other specialized materials, stacking electronic components in three dimensions, and using an advanced packaging method known as V-Grooves to improve how light is guided through the chip.
Dr. Ed Preisler, who leads Tower's RF Business Unit, said the company's photonics manufacturing platforms need to keep evolving alongside the requirements of coherent optical transceivers, and that Tower is proud of its partnership with Marvell in this area.
For Dr. Radha Nagarajan, Marvell's chief technology officer for optical engineering, the shipment is a milestone that proves the strength of the two companies' collaboration. Nagarajan added that Marvell intends to keep working with Tower to develop next-generation coherent technology suited to large-scale data center networks.

In providing what has to be considered one of the better examples on Wednesday of a "make hay while the sun shines" strategy, Calumet (NASDAQ: CLMT) stock enjoyed an impressive rally. The oil products company's shares leaped more than 4% that day, on its announcement that it was reducing its debt load.
Before market open, Calumet announced that two of its wholly owned subsidiaries are redeeming all of the senior notes from an early 2025 issue. They will redeem all notes in the $100 million, 9.75% issue that matures in 2028. They're paying a not-very-burdensome premium for this, as they're redeeming at a price of slightly over 102.4% of the notes' par value.
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
This is part of a broader strategy to trim Calumet's indebtedness; the company didn't hesitate to point out that in the second quarter, it also reduced borrowings under its revolving credit facility.
This program of balance sheet improvement should continue, since the company quoted CFO David Lunin as saying that "with operating momentum and a favorable outlook, we are well positioned to continue accelerating deleveraging while investing in the growth opportunities that create long-term shareholder value."
